Delia has been passionate about cooking and entertaining from an early age. She has a wealth of industry experience and loves elevating every celebration she caters for. Born and raised near Ocala, Florida, she spent her days, while growing up, in her dad's garden or in her nanny's kitchen. With her, Delia's culinary passion grew as she observed her nanny's ways and learned many of her kitchen recipes and secrets. At 18, Delia managed produce sales for Smith Farms for 4 years and attended the College of Central Florida, majoring in business and marketing. In 1994, she moved to South Carolina, and in 2000, she began her career in the food service industry, co-owning and then owning a restaurant. In 2020 during the pandemic, she decided to transition and embrace her lifelong dream to be a full-service caterer. When she is not working as a chef or caterer, she enjoys spending time in her garden or kitchen. She cans, pickles, and preserves homegrown items and prepares dishes and desserts that she learned from her nanny. She loves the outdoors, taking walks with her two dogs, Reynolds and Jolene, and she is an avid sports fan. Go Gators!
