About this vendor
When the Clary family purchased South Laurel Farm in 1999, it was 36.73 acres of land, which backed up to the Blackwater State Forest. A new barn was erected and had two floors with four horse stalls on the first floor with a dog trot, tool room, and storage. Later, the first-floor horse stalls were converted to an apartment and additional storage. The second floor is the living space with an open kitchen, living, and dining space and two bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is now 119 acres with 20 full acres of cleared land around the barn. It includes a flowing creek, Penny Creek, a pond stocked with brim and bass, and a beautiful oak tree with a deck built under it for varied uses.

South Laurel Farms was a dream come true wedding venue for my husband and I. The second we pulled into the venue we knew it was OUR place to say “I do”! Mrs Beth and her crew went ...
above and beyond for us, and they made everything so easy. From the most beautiful property, personal “hobby lobby” and to the coordinating, I had all of my dreams come to life. Austin and I can’t thank you enough. 🩷

n’t imagine a better venue for a wedding ceremony and reception. They upkeep the land and buildings SO well and are such generous people. 100/10 recommend this venue for any event, but especially a wedding. It’s GORGEOUS! We’re forever grateful. 😍
We had a tremendous experience with South Laurel Farms. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the grounds, the event barn, and the bride & grooms dressing areas are amazing. South Laur...
el had everything we needed for decorating, and when it looked like we would get rained out they were ready to either move us indoors or do a quick dry and cleanup under the 200 year oak (which is what ended up happening). Beth, Charlie, Randy, and Debbie were incredibly responsive and moved heaven and earth to meet our needs, and more than a few guests were checking the venue out for themselves. Highly recommend!
