Tours of the facilities are available with Stephanie by appointment only. The main dining room offers continental cuisine with nightly specials. Whether ordering from our menu, enjoying a brunch or buffet, diners are sure to be pleased with the friendly, courteous staff and delicious food. A spectacular view of the lake accompanies every meal and is sure to please. Sherman's Lounge is the place to be for good food, good drinks and good times. The food was beyond spectacular and we spend less than $15 a plate.
We were married on a Saturday evening and was given all day Thursday to decorate the reception hall and half a day on Friday to finish decorations and do the rehearsal.
They were very accommodating and kind.

. We were free to decorate as we wanted without many restrictions. They would even allow us to thumbtack decorations on the walls! There are seperate rooms for the bride and groom to get dressed - very easy to work with and the price is unbeatable (only 650.00 for the grounds and reception hall for the entire day). We only had one issue with a staff member who expected the bridal party to pay immediately for liquor drinks instead of keeping a tab for the bridal party only, but it was quickly worked out. The staff will cut and serve the cake without an additional charge. They even boxed up food for us to take back to the hotel which was lifesaving because the groom and I didn't get much chance to eat during the festivities. You do have to use their catering for reception food, but they will allow you to bring additional food of your own (for hor d'oeuvres or just to add on).
