We had a wonderful June wedding at South Shore Harbor resort. As the planner of the event, I can guarantee you that the catering staff was above impressive on the planning and implementation of the event. The room we used (Marina Room) was perfect for 115 guests. The room was not crowded, having a parking lot right outside for guests, private entrance and private lobby with restrooms made it a comfortable venue. The staff was incredible to all our guests and the food was perfect. Above all this, this cost was incredible. We would have paid triple anywhere else. We used the hotel for the weekend. We had a lot of out of town guests. Everyone was comfortable, enjoyed the wedding and loved the hotel staff and ammenities. A five star rating is not enough to thank everyone at the hotel for their hospitality. Best Regards,

I highly recommend! The hotel offers FANTASTIC inclusive wedding packages that agreed with our budget. Kim Keen was the coordinator that we worked with primarily to plan and prepare for the wedding. She was awesome! She wasn't always available immediately because the hotel is always so busy with many events but she was there when it mattered and handled everything professionally. All of our guests were impressed with the reception venue, the serving staff, etc. They especially loved the opportunity to walk to the hotel for their room instead of having to drive home so late! Great options for weddings with many out-of-town guests!

We had an incredible experience with South Shore. Everything was taken care of as per our wishes with no surprises. They worked seamlessly and efficiently with our wedding planner to accommodated special requests. Almost everything was taken care of in house. The setting was beautiful and the resort was very clean, updated and well kept. The food was amazing and the reception venue and beverage packages were very reasonable. We saved a ton of money with their reception options and room rates for our guests were very affordable for such a nice resort. It was so nice to have the entire process compartmentalized to the resort for finances, for convenience and for our guests.

This is a beautiful hotel and we all enjoyed staying there. We had complimentary breakfast with our stay. Could have been more helpful with luggage. There were no bell hops.

This hotel accommidated the majority of our out of town guests. I never heard any complanits so it was great! We rented the harbour room for a Sunday brunch the day after the wedding and the food was so goo!

We booked a block of rooms here for members of the bridal party and guests who didn't want to make the drive home after our wedding. With our venue, we received the deal that with 20 rooms, we would get our room for free. We ended up getting our room, which was very nice. Large, comfy bed, huge shower, great view. Apparently our guests didn't fare so well. I was told that the beds weren't too comfortable in most of the rooms. Also, the hotel was quite loud, even at midnight. I think this is more of a party hotel, but it could have been due to the approaching 4th of July (we got married on the 2nd). I would say it is a good location and has a nice bar and pool if you want to hang out before and after the wedding, though. It was a bit hard to get in touch to book rooms at times and to talk to the representative in charge of our block. Sometimes she would totally forget about us or not email/call back for days.

The guest's rooms were good but kinds outdated. Our room was horrible...they forgot to set up the romantic room and the air conditioning was out so we had to move rooms.
