Based out of Tucson, AZ, South Western Stars is a band that performs for weddings and other special events. We take great pride and find a special joy in celebrating with couples and their guests! With a wide variety of American music in our repertoire, including country, bluegrass, folk, blues and rock, we can provide a memorable musical experience from start to finish, including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! Let us make your wedding even more special with the thrill of live music!

We can tailor the instrumentation and band size to fit your vision, adjusting for the ceremony, cocktail hour and high-gear dance party!
What sets us apart from other bands? We are a tight knit group that prepares carefully for every performance, rehearsing together until the music is flawless. Also, we can offer bluegrass and other acoustic instrumental music in addition to our upbeat and rockin’ country, blues and folk repertoire. Staying within the Americana genre gives our sound an authenticity that is not found with most top 40 bands.
There's nothing like a live band to get a crowd excited and create a sense of sophistication! Our bandleaders will interact with folks on the dance floor, pay attention to the feel of the room and select the next song accordingly.

really fun. We opted to have them MC the night for us too. All together, they have a great on-stage presence and personality that made the reception lots of fun.
The band was flexible in accommodating our requests to fulfill our vision and the band leader was a pleasure to work with. She is professional, super nice and her experience is valuable. While we were planning our wedding reception, she was able to give input to help the band and other of the aspects of the party meld perfectly.

The guests had a blast dancing, and it was so much nicer than a DJ - nothing takes the place of live music and they did not disappoint.
