We hired Southwest Production Company to DJ our wedding in October 2023. Overall, the equipment setup was of good quality and the package was affordable, but the DJ was extremely unprofessional and didn’t curate song choices appropriately. The DJ acted rude to a number of our guests, planners, and venue staff. On the day of our wedding, we were surprised that we had find him to introduce ourselves. In response to questions from other vendors and the bride’s family, DJ raised his voice in front of our wedding guests. The DJ spoke with us on the phone prior to the wedding to discuss the setup. However, the setup at the ceremony site did not have the lapel microphone as discussed in the planning meetings and required the officiant to hold the microphone while performing a hand-fasting ceremony. During the reception, the DJ table setup was clean and the lighting created a great atmosphere. The sound quality was great and saturated the reception site with music. Although the DJ played most of our music selection, the curation and timing of the music could have been better. For example, many of the classic rock songs or ballads were cut off right before the main chorus or guitar solos. As a positive, our package included the photo booth, which was a big hit. The woman running the photo booth was very friendly and accommodating, and the photo printouts looked great. Overall, we would not recommend this vendor as he brought a negative energy into our special day and offended many of our other vendors.

From planning to the day of, our wedding experience with Rick was all you could ask for! Simple planning and request process - super communicative. He took care of everything day of with ease. High quality set up for ceremony and speeches. And most importantly, the dance floor was moving all night - Highly recommend!

Rick went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was so special and enjoyable. He was quick to respond and asked questions I hadn’t even thought about to make sure everything went smoothly. His music choices were perfect for us and had everyone out on the dance floor until it was time to end. I would highly recommend hiring Rick for your wedding or event. Thank you! Recommend 100%!

Rich was AMAZING! He was not only professional but flexible to work with us in pre-adding playlists to be played during pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, cake cutting, 1st dances, and party time!
