Samantha and her team did my hair and makeup for my mother, six bridesmaids, and myself on September 24th. We did our trial two days before because she was accommodating that this was a destination wedding for us! She willing ran long on the trial to make sure I was good with every detail and made me feel completely comfortable. She had plenty of recommendations to ensure we were covered for the day of. I loved the high end products she used, and she had professional recommendations to ensure the longevity of my hair and make up. I came away from my trial very excited for the wedding. Her whole team showed up on the wedding day completely prepared and early. But the best part was the fun, uplifting, attitude they brought. They made each person feel excited to be in the chair and beautiful with the outcome. They are genuinely happy to be there and are so kind and complementary. My mother is the type who is never happy with her hair or makeup, and this is the first time she has ever said “I feel beautiful like this”. That was such a special moment for me- my mother and I so happy and confident. Sam and her amazing team made that happen for us. For me that is priceless. Plus everyone’s makeup stayed on through all the many happy tears. I have no clue how my lashes and mascara stayed on as I sobbed through my vows. I could not recommend this team enough.

Samantha did all the hair for my wedding and she did an incredible job! I came in with a vague idea of how I wanted my hair and she executed an incredible hair style that was exactly what I envisioned. My bridesmaids all had vastly different hair lengths and types but she was able to execute a beautiful style that looked good on all of them. My bridesmaids loved their hair and she also did a blow out for my aunt and everyone loved the end result. Plus she and her assistant were so fun and enjoyable to be with on the day of the wedding. We highly recommend Southern Bridal Styles!

I am so glad that Samantha and her team did the hair and makeup for myself and my seven bridesmaids! The getting ready process went so smoothly thanks to them. I had an initial meeting with Samantha that was booked well in advance. Closer to the wedding I had my trial and while I didn't know exactly what I wanted, she listened to my vision and offered helpful suggestions. In the end, the hair and makeup from my trial and wedding day were identical and exactly what I wanted. I shed many tears during the first look and my makeup did not budge which was incredible. Southern Bridal Styles is well worth the investment for this once in a lifetime day.

Sam did an amazing job with my hair and makeup!! I was so happy with my trial, and it was even better on the day of my wedding! All of the bridesmaids, and moms loved their hair and makeup as well! Sam and Sam did an amazing job, and were so friendly while we were all getting ready.

Samantha is truly the best!!! She brought a team of 3 professionals with her to my venue in Milton, KY and completed beautiful updos and makeup for me, my five bridesmaids, and two mothers in about four hours. Everyone was so nice and professional and we looked absolutely gorgeous for pictures. However, my biggest shoutout surrounds my ceremony. The weather took a turn as my bridesmaids were walking down the aisle and we got married outside in the wind and pouring rain- tornado sirens were involved. After the ceremony, while blowdrying our dresses dry, everyone still had absolutely flawless makeup and hair. We all looked great through the end of the reception with very minimal touchups. You will look wonderful no matter the conditions if Samantha is your hair and makeup artist. Before the day of she is very easy to communicate with and happy to help you coordinate your entire bridal look (jewelry, hair pieces, etc.). I first met her in person about a year before my wedding for my engagement photos and she was so fun and easy to talk to. She did a great job on my hair and makeup- which lasted through an outdoor session in 98 degree KY humidity (I unwillingly tested all weather conditions). It was very easy to schedule appointments with her for my trial and bridal portraits. Hire her- you won't regret it!!!

Sam is amazing! I searched for months before finding her and I’m so thankful I did. I wasn’t feeling great the morning of but Sam and her two assistants, Sam and Bethany, did an amazing job. They were upbeat and ready to get started even after a long previous night and 2.5 hour drive. I always enjoy visiting Sam and Bethany for my regular hair appointments as well. I loved my makeup and hair and it lasted the entire event. They did a great job on the mens grooming as well. One of our groomsmen has very long, curly hair and they were able to manage the curls beautifully. If you are looking for a team the is capable of handling multiple different hair/skin types, they are your girls!

Samantha and the other stylists were phenomenal from the first consultation to the trial to the day of the wedding. Not only did everyone look wonderful, each one of them took care to make sure everyone was comfortable during the services and were very understanding of anyone with skin concerns. I was a little worried about booking a vendor a couple hours from the venue and from me, but the extra drive for the trial and the extra fee for travel the day of was definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Samantha and her team were the absolute best! Hair/makeup was done beautifully and quickly. Everyone went above and beyond to make our day super special! Makeup was long lasting and looked amazing in photos and hair held up even with the dancing!

Samantha is the greatest! She is extremely helpful and so sweet. I used Samantha for hair extensions, hair color/cut, hair and makeup and spray tan before the big day. She arrived on time and we received so many compliments.

Samantha did a great job onshore and makeup for my wedding! She was on time and made sure my bridal party and myself were ready on time! I was able to do a trial run and she helped me figure out exactly what I wanted! She helped me pick out makeup that wasn’t too much as I don’t typically wear that much and the look was incredible! I would recommend her for any hair or makeup needs!

Samantha is AMAZING! I was so nervous on my big day and she did everything she could to make sure I felt beautiful and really put me at ease. She’s so fun but also extremely professional. She got to the venue on time and made sure we were all ready to go on time for the ceremony! I found her for my wedding but she’s my go-to stylist now. I very highly recommend her!

Y’all. Samantha is the absolute best. I am not a ‘get your hair and makeup done’ kind of gal and honestly was pretty nervous about finding someone. Samantha made me so comfortable and was so incredibly talented I absolutely loved every experience she did for our wedding. She is so thorough, kind, sweet, and is so easy to talk to. All of my family and friends were impressed with how beautiful they were and how comfortable the experience was. She made me feel true to who I was while adding her professional style to make me feel like a truly beautiful bride, and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I can not express how much I loved Sam and her work. Not only did she do a wonderful job with my hair and make-up, she was also very sweet and accommodating. I felt comfortable expressing my vision with her, and she did fantastic listening to me. She communicated every professional piece of advice she had to give, not only about what would compliment me as a bride, but what wouldn’t flatter me (she wasn’t about to let me look like a dweeb). She is also very prompt and cordial. She was so patient and flexible with me. I highly recommend her. She truly delivers high quality work, for much less than those who are just as [but maybe not as] talented. I highly, HIGHLY, hIgHly recommend her.

Do yourself a favor, and book Sam for all of your wedding beauty needs! She is talented, professional, and easy to work with. She was able to recreate exactly what I wanted, and I got so many compliments on my hair at my wedding. Highly recommend!

Samantha did an awesome job making my bridesmaids and I look glamorous for the big day! I was exhausted but still looked fab! I'm so glad I met her because now I have someone new to do my hair and occasionally my make up. Very affordable, professional, and talented stylist. This girl stays busy so book her ASAP!!

Amazing service! Sam did my makeup for my cousin’s wedding over 2 years ago and I made sure to book her early because she did such an awesome job! I remember I did my trial run and Sam did my makeup. I went home after, walked 3 miles in 90 degree weather with my parents and the makeup was still on after!! It was crazy but shows how much it lasts and it doesn’t look caked on at all! It actually looks so natural. My husband kept saying how natural it looked and he was so happy. Thank you so much, Sam!!

I feel like there was more I was looking for in a makeup/hair artist for my wedding than just whether or not they could pull off my vision. Samantha met expectations I didn't know I should have had. For example, the beginning of my day was spent with Samantha (about 3 hours of it), so it was important to feel comfortable with her. Samantha is very warm and friendly and made it a less stressful experience just with her personality. She also maintains a positive/upbeat attitude always commenting on how great everyone looked. Samantha also met the expectations everyone has for their makeup artist. Our makeup and hair turned out absolutely beautiful! My mom is very hard on herself in terms of her appearance, but throughout the day made comments about how good she looked. Also, her makeup and hair did not budge at all the entire time. My hair fell just a bit, but it was 97 degrees during my ceremony, I wore a heavy dress and was sweating like crazy. I also didn't touch up with hair spray as often as I should have and my hair doesn't hold curls well, so I don't consider any of that Samantha's fault. My makeup held up through tears and sweat though (which mattered more to me anyways). She did give us some lipstick, hair spray, cue tips, etc to touch up throughout the night. Samantha was also prompt and finished all of our services within the agreed time frame.

Samantha and Stephanie were awesome to work with. They were transparent on pricing and what to expect day of. They showed up on time and made everyone’s hairstyles look flawless. I would recommend them to anyone!

Samantha and her team were just simply amazing! My biggest fear for my wedding hair and makeup was that I would not look like myself...but Sam took in all my ideas, fears, and excitement and did an absolutely wonderful job with my hair and makeup, and making me look like ME!! Having a trial before the big day was lovely, and then being able to relax on my wedding day knowing that I would look beautiful really put me at ease. All of my bridesmaids loved working with the girls, and my mom adored Sam and how helpful she was! 10/10 would recommend Southern Bridal Styles to ANY bride again and again!

Stephanie and Samantha were amazing! Going into my trial, I had no idea what I wanted my makeup to look like. Samantha was so great at talking through the options and focal points. Stephanie crushed my low updo, and it really highlighted my naturally curly hair. I left my trail so happy with how every thing looked! They were perfect on wedding day too! They are so sweet and personable. It was like having a few extra friends there to help us get ready! We got married on a 90 degree day and my hair and make up did not budge. It was still as flawless at the end of the night as it was when it first finished. They nailed the timeline too- they were done in under the 2 hours allotted! I can’t recommend and thank these ladies enough. I felt so amazing on my wedding day and everything photographed perfectly!

Samantha and Stephanie were so great to work with! They were very thorough when discussing their contract and talking timeline, it was very helpful! They fit my trial in very easily and when I had to take a work call they were super polite, it was so nice! They were so fast the day of and everyone LOVED their hair! I have been in 8 weddings and not once has every single bridesmaid loved their hair but at mine they did and it was because Samantha and Stephanie are rockstars! Highly recommend using them, they will give you peace of mind down to the minutes before they leave, I loved working with them!

They did exactly what I wanted and did it within the timeline of the wedding. My makeup did not look caked on, it was very natural and my hair was exactly what I wanted. They had some difficulty during my trial with my hairpiece, so on my actual wedding we swapped it out for something different. They left behind a huge stack of Bobby pins just in case and had our lipsticks available for purchase that day. My only complaint was that I was told I would receive a touch up kit for the day of, and I did not. I didn't really need it, but it would have been nice.

Super sweet and great to work with! We looked amazing! They even took the time to style my 3 year old daughter's hair and let her wear lipstick, which she loved!

Stephanie and Samantha were great to work with! They did a full trial beforehand so I could feel confident about what my look would be on the day of the wedding. They asked for input from me and the bridesmaids so we all maintained our individual “looks” on the day! They were punctual and very professional.

My makeup along with my wedding party was excellent. The airbrush foundation covered every flaw and was nicely even. We started makeup at 10am and left the venue at 11pm, after the reception in the heat of August and it lasted the entire time. I also loved the lashes and eyeshadow. It really made my eyes pop. Southern Bridal Styles did a wonderful job achieving the look I envisioned for my big day.

Both Stephanie and Samantha were a pleasure to work with. They were easy to schedule, contact, and gave great advice. My hair and make up looked great all day and stayed pretty perfect. They were very kind and funny too!

I called Samantha in a state of panic when my previous HMU artist fell threw only a couple months before the wedding. Even though they were already booked up on my date, Samantha still went above and beyond to help me find someone who was trustworthy and would provide quality services. I don’t know that anyone else would have been so helpful and gracious as she was. She calmed my nerves and saved the day.

Stephanie and Samantha were incredible. From engagement pictures, through wedding day, they were enthusiastic, fun, and extremely flexible. They were able to accommodate two additional bridesmaid hair requests the day of the wedding, and were a lot of fun. Thank you, ladies, for making this an incredible experience! You made me feel beautiful, and I still looked like myself. Hands down, would ABSOLUTELY work with these two again!

I can not say enough great things about Stephanie and Samantha. They did a fantastic job on my bridesmaid and my hair and make up on my big day. They were fun to hang out with while getting everything done and made sure everyone was pleased with how things turned out. Stephanie and Samantha made my wedding day hair and makeup dream into a reality. I’m someone who loves makeup and wears it everyday, so my wedding day makeup had to be perfect and dreamy. With the airbrush foundation (and highlighter that was to die for), I was able to achieve this look. I got my makeup done at 9 am and my wedding didn’t start until 7 pm, but let me tell you that when I got home at 2 am my makeup was still in perfect condition! The trial they did left me at ease on my wedding day and the convenience of being able to text them was amazing. I also loved the mini touchup bag they left me with. Also, as an LGBT bride, Samantha and Stephanie were consistently respectful and nonjudgmental.

Loved, loved, loved Southern Bridal Style's work at my wedding! Stephanie and Samantha are both so talented and very flexible and easy to work with! They came out to the wedding venue and did all six of my bridesmaid's and my hair in a super short amount of time, and each hairstyle looked amazing!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for stylists on their big day!

Our wedding was Oct 7, 2017. Stephanie and Samantha showed up to our hotel room at 8 am to start working on myself (bride), 4 bridesmaids, 3 flowergirls, and both of the mothers. Yep, you counted right 10 people total! We had to be done and out the door by 12 pm. They brought in a friend to help with the workload. We had the best time, they quickly got through my hair and makeup and all the others hair by 9-10 am! I had brought in a special hair pin and had a different hairstyle planned for each bridesmaid and the girls worked so well with that added addition. My makeup and hair made it all the way through the night with no issues! Especially since I kept my veil in my hair the entire night. I cannot thank these women enough for making my day so beautiful!

Southern Bridal Styles was amazing!I wanted someone who could do both hair and makeup (1 stop shop). I also wanted someone who could work on our venue's site since we were getting married in Versailles and not in Louisville, where we live. These ladies was were able to meet all of my criteria. While getting our hair and makeup done we all laughed and had a great time with Stephanie and Samantha We all looked fabulous, and the make-up lasted through all the happy tears. Couldn't be more pleased!

My wedding was 9/9/17. I just want to say how much I appreciated Samantha and Stephanie's talents and outstanding personal service. They were a delight to work with. The ladies made everything flow smoothly before, and during the wedding. And best of all, they made my bridesmaids and myself look amazing! They styled our hair and makeup exactly the way we envisioned. Each one of us couldn't have been more pleased. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I really wish I could highly rate Samantha and Stephanie, however their late arrival (OVER ONE HOUR LATE) screwed up our entire timeline and created an unnecessary amount of stress for an already stressful morning. Samantha was my main contact upon booking. When we initially scheduled and booked Southern Bridal our contract read that they would begin at 10:30 am at our venue which is approximately 1 hour from Louisville, KY. A $105 travel fee was included in our contract. We had 16 adult services scheduled and 4 child services. When I confirmed the start time with Samantha three weeks before our date, she let me know that because they were bringing an assistant that we would be safe to start at 11:30 am and we would have plenty of wiggle room and still have everyone ready to go by 2 pm. This reassurance may have been true IF they had showed up on time, or even close to on time. At 11:07 am that morning Samantha texted that, "We did hit a road block which set us back about 10 minutes but we are still good for your time, you have nothing to worry about. See you soon!". I had no problem with this communication, however when they had not arrived at 11:46 am I reminded her that everyone had to be ready to go by 2 pm. She said, "We will be fine!! No worries. We are almost there". Around 12:30 pm they showed up WITH NO APOLOGY and finally got started. By this time we completely lost our wiggle room and at 1:50 pm (keep in mind everyone was supposed to be ready by 2 pm) my hair and makeup had not even been STARTED. Arriving an hour late is COMPLETELY unprofessional and unforgivable. The fact that I was reassured multiple times that we could push our start time back an hour AND THEN they were an hour late was infuriating. Multiple bridesmaids pointed out upon their arrival that NOT ONE person apologized to us for their late arrival or for screwing up our timeline. Our first look occurred over an hour later than scheduled because I wasn’t ready to go on time due to their screw up, and this just happened to allow the rain time to come in which meant we lost the opportunity to take bridal party and family photos outdoors as planned. This was incredibly disappointing to me now and then, and made it very hard to relax and enjoy what should’ve been a fun photo shoot. I will say that I loved my hair, and that in general I enjoyed the personalities of both Samantha and Stephanie and their assistant, but I attribute the stress of the morning to them. Of course no wedding day is ever perfect, but I should’ve been able to count on them and instead I was stressed and angry and upset and not ready on time. I feel like my wedding was not a priority and instead they tried to schedule two weddings in a day to make more money and weren’t able to maintain the responsibility or the terms of our contract. I would NOT book Southern Bridal Styles for another event.

Both Samantha and Stephanie are absolutely incredible at what they do and so much fun! They made my sister in law look stunning on her big day and same with the mothers and bridesmaids. Everyone was super happy with their hair and makeup and received compliments from the guests all night long at how good everyone looked. I have since had others ask for their contact info for their big day. I would recommend them both to anyone.

Loved working with these two! They made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. :-) I was originally worried because I have very acne prone skin, but all the products felt light, and didn't make me break out!!! Additionally they were time-sensitive and professional, definitely suggest them for your day!

I originally went to a different salon, but was so disappointed with the trial. I really wanted someone who had expertise with weddings, and I loved the photos of other brides these two have done. I ended up contacting them last minute...literally the day before our wedding! But thankfully they were happy to do hair and make up for me, my sister, and sister-in-law. One thing I loved about Stephanie was that she did exactly what I wanted in the example pictures I provided, but coordinated with my hair, eyes, and skin tone. She also asked me what I didn't like about my first trial, which made me feel confident that she would do a good job. Despite not having a trial with them, the results were amazing! I got so many compliments, particularly on how she did my eyes :) I'm typically pretty picky about how my make up is done, but I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. As for Samantha, I was so thrilled with how beautiful she made my hair look! I wanted a half-up-half-down look with braids wrapping around. The results looked even better than what I pictured in my head. My hair is really long and I was worried about my hair not staying in place since it's heavy. But the curls and braids were intact the whole night. I was too tired to undo them before bed, and everything was still in it's place when I woke up! Now that's pretty impressive. I also want to add that the hairstyle didn't feel painful or uncomfortable due to the bobby pins, I didn't even notice they were there. Overall, these two are welcoming, kind, and amazing at what they do! I'm so glad they were flexible and took me in despite the last minute notice. I recommend them 100%, you won't be disappointed by any means!

Stephanie did an amazing job with everyone's hair! I have very thick hair and was afraid it would not hold all night but I was super happy that it stay all night! Not only that she was super friendly and helped with the stress of the day! I am super happy with my decision😊

Samantha and Stephanie were awesome!! I loved all of my bridesmaids hair and makeup and loved mine as well!! I couldn't have been happier!! They we're on time and worked hard to get all 5 bridesmaids complete my mom complete and myslef! They were wonderful!

Samantha and Stephanie did hair for my wedding party and I this August. They were so professional and easy to work with! My hair was exactly how I wanted it and not only did it look perfect but it stayed looking great all night! My bridesmaids were in love with their up-dos and my flower girl adored her curls.
