nd coffee, and we had the whole store to ourselves for the appointment! Courtney and I walked the shop picking out each dress that I thought I might like. After I choose some, my mom, MIL and MOH got to walk the store and choose any they wanted me to try on as well. I did have doubts about how many dresses we would find because the store was not huge, but we found so many great options! None of us even chose the dress I ended up falling in love with ..... Courtney made a recommendation of a dress I didn't originally choose based on what I did like on other dresses, and it was perfect! I felt like such a princess standing in front of the big mirrors with my dress, veil and jewelry! The week of the wedding, Charlie's took care of steaming my dress for me. I went back to Charlie's for an accessories appointment to pick out jewelry and a beautiful hair piece. We also ordered my husband's and our groomsmen's tuxes here. They did not have the men's outfits in the store to try on, but they took very thorough measurements and the guys all looked great. Tuxes came in the week of, the guys got to go try them on, and if needed, last minute changes could be made. This was very convenient because we had 2 out of state groomsmen who would not have been able to come into the store for measurements. They were able to text their measurements in. Charlie's also did a great job of texting every so often to check in and see if there was anything they could help us with. Such a welcoming and helpful group of women! Courtney was amazing to work with!

after another dress appointment and I thought I already had my dress picked out at the other place, and I picked out a few mermaid/trumpet dresses. I felt like nothing was looking right on me and Emily kept asking me what did I like or dislike about each dress. Her and my maid of honor were just feeding off of what I gave them and went back and forth finding dresses that kept adding what I liked. We found a dress that had everything, but it was white. So she finds it in a champagne color and I cried. I thought the crying part of dress shopping was so dramatic, but GIRLS, DON'T SETTLE UNTIL YOU FIND THE DRESS THAT ILLICITS EMOTION.

I tried on several that I thought were the look I was going for, until I took my MIL’s advice and tried on something out of my comfort zone. IT WAS THE ONE. Cassidy got accessories for me to tie it all together and worked up an amazing deal that I couldn’t pass up, and just like that, I walked out of my first ever appointment with my wedding dress!!! Cassidy was a huge help with pulling dresses, asking the right questions to help me make a decision, adjusting the dress so it fix correctly (and understanding what I meant by "it doesn't look right, here"), and overall just being supportive.
