Melissa went above and beyond by offering to schedule another trial with me and also offered to travel to me for it! That's when I knew she cares about her clients exponentially and is willing to do anything to help out her brides! your hair and makeup. I feel so horrible your experience wasn’t anything but amazing. My heart hurts knowing you were/are disappointed. This is my full time job so please know this job and you brides mean everything to me. (Besides for my own kiddo lol). I earned the “best of status” because I worked/work extremely hard on my business and I give my absolute all to my brides. But there is always room for improvement. I’m not perfect but I do strive to be. I am also open to criticism and I will work to be better.
1. Trials- My contract states that all trials are held in my home studio. I am a single mom and that is why I hold them there. I’m sorry it was difficult for you to coordinate time for your trial.

Your trial hair turned out beautifully on your fine hair. Now as for your trial makeup, you showed me some images and you wanted a dark lip. I completely agreed that we needed to change your makeup and we discussed that through text. You also decided you wanted to change your bridal hair to something else as well which was totally fine.

But I feel it’s only fair to share that the day of the wedding the hair and makeup timeline you provided was not realistic. I asked to start at 5am because you needed hair and makeup for 5 people and all of you needed to be ready by 9:30am. You stated you could not do that and decided on a 7:00am start time. Giving me and my assistant 3 1/2 hours to rush through everyone including you who wanted a different upstyle and makeup. Bridal hair and makeup takes me around 2 hours. Then we aim for 30 min hair and 30 min makeup for bridesmaids. On top of that you provided the wrong address to the venue. Which was fine but I’m simply starting that all these things played a role into the stress of the day and you not receiving the expectations you hoped for.

Now onto the lashes, lashes are complimentary. They are not added into the overall price of makeup. I’m sorry about the frustration that caused you.

Again I’m truly sorry for your experience but I do hope you can see that I did my best with the time I was provided.

last minute but she really came in clutch. She knew how worried I was about my trial and took the time to figure out what I was looking for. I would book Melissa right away. Her work is impeccable and she will make you look amazingly beautiful. My hair lasted ALL day and night long. I was shocked. I actually got a compliment when I got back to my hotel from someone who said “it looks like you just did you hair.”

I did a lot of research on someone for hair and makeup that would take me last minute. From the beginning I loved Melissa’s style. She was so flexible and helpful to make something work for the both of us. For our hair trial, she wore a mask and was very safe the whole time. We did 4 different hair styles until we found something that was perfect. She was so patient, helpful and sweet. For the day of the wedding, she started at 6am because we could only have one hair stylist/make up artist with COVID. She wore a mask and cleaned up everything. She gave each of my 4 bridesmaids and mom a totally unique hair style (which I found out later isn’t always the norm) and everyone loved her. She is so professional, sweet, talented and an awesome human being who I would now consider a friend. I highly recommend Melissa, you will not be disappointed!! She’s the best.

aft! She listened to what I wanted, executed it perfectly, and gave great suggestions for how I should cut and color my hair in preparation for the wedding to make the look complete! She really knows her stuff and I felt so confident and beautiful on my special day! She and her friend did amazing work on my bridesmaids as well and worked well within our timeline of the day. Our hair and makeup lasted all day and night long- I was sad to take it off by the end of the night!

sa and her friend started before the sun came up, and everything went flawlessly! Melissa knows how to run the show! I absolutely loved how she did my hair and makeup. My makeup didn't run after all of my happy tears, and my hair was just as beautiful by the end of the night!
Melissa is EXTREMELY talented, she's super sweet and personable, and she's beautiful inside and out. If I could, I'd attend any and all of the celebrations that I can, just so she can glam me up again!
