Amazing Amazing Amazing. We used Southern Kindred for engagement photos & on our wedding day. My husband and I HATE photos - we never like them and feel awkward in front of the camera. Southern Kindred DELIVERED on wedding day and engagement shoot. On wedding day, they were so professional and clearly very experienced. They care about the details and get the job done. Not only do they make you feel SO comfortable, but they run the show. We would have paid double for the product that we got - worth every penny. We loved our engagement photos - we got a ton of great shots, which we hadn't been able to get with other photographers in the past. I honestly cannot say enough about how much I respect this business and how grateful I am that they captured such a magical day.

I used Southern Kindred Studios for my wedding this past November and I absolutely loved all of my photos! They worked over the holidays to ensure I had my pictures in time for Christmas so I could give them as gifts! As soon as my now husband and I got engaged I told him we had to hire Amanda, and WOW she did not disappoint one bit! She was super patient with our engagement photos. Even when it came to working our 2 rambunctious kids into the session. As for our wedding pictures they are absolutely amazing! She captured every detail! Jodi did an amazing job taking my wedding photos. She is responsive, creative, and caring with her work and her clients. She never once turned down a phone call or text - and I called her a lot! She was willing to work with all suggestions and she gives her professional advice when needed. She was the vendor who kept me calm and on schedule with photos on the day of the wedding! She doesn’t rush her work and you can tell that she cares about every photo she takes. Plus, the photos come out looking BEAUTIFUL.

WOW! We loved her work! My fiancé and I booked Jodi for our engagement shoot and we couldn't be happier with her work. We wanted to incorporate our love of motorcycles into the shoot and from the moment I brought it up she was completely down for it. Admitting she hadn't worked with a bike, she was open to anything we wanted to try. She let me send her ideas and even came up with some amazing shots off the top of her head. On top of the fact that she's as cute as a button, she genuinely loves what she does. She was punctual (we weren't). She listened to what we wanted and gave us a beautiful backdrop for our photos. Jodi is a beautiful spirit. She was very responsive, professional, and on time. She is kind and very personable. I can tell that she means what her profile says and she enjoys her job. My husband and I are thankful that we selected her to capture our memories for our 40th anniversary vow renewal ceremony. This ceremony was very special after 40 years because we never had a wedding initially and wanted the perfect Photographer to take photos my children and grandchildren can cherish forever and she did just that. Jodi made our “wedding photo dreams” come true!! She was wonderful to work with from beginning to end, and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. I love every single photo she took. The editing was beautiful, she was helpful with poses, and she made sure to get every picture that we wanted. Jodi is amazing! She is the sweetest human in the world and I’m so glad I chose her to capture my day! Yes! Yes! Yes! A million times over YES to Jodi!!! From the beginning she made me feel like her only wedding (even though I knew that wasn’t the case & she was actually very busy). She was by far my FAVORITE VENDOR to work with. I don’t know how many times I had to tell my wedding planner my brothers names but JODI on the other hand, she genuinely cared, she would remember some of the smallest details & would always be so excited about our wedding every time I talked to her. I was having a hard time finding a photographer within our budget but with the quality we wanted & then I found Jodi!!! The words for my wedding- moody, Romantic, elegant... & her style was everything! I feel in love instantly. Honestly, I feel like I found a hidden gem & locked her in before everyone else finds out & she gets too big (when you get real famous, don’t forget about the little people like me, Jodi)! :) The day of my wedding I actually got sick with one of my migraines... we lost about 2.5 hours of shooting time with her while I slept trying to shake it off. I didn’t even know what pics she took during that time so I was relieved to know from my bridesmaids that she kept busy & got most of the photos we had talked about. The Wedding: For months, we would have regular conversations about timeline, details and vision for our wedding photos. Omg jodi is such a wonderful person and excellent photographer!!! I feel as though she was not just my wedding photographer but now I can also call her a friend!! It’s like she can hear your heart and souls desires... We did a bridal session and she asked me before the session what o had in mind, I had no idea how to put in words what I had pictured in my head by when I received my bridals back Jodi had captured such beautiful pictures and moments it was more than I could have ever hoped or dreamed. My wedding was Saturday and even in the stressful moments like when one of my groomsmen showed up 2 hours late! Jodi was there to calm me down because I was so upset that pre-wedding pictures were going to have to be postponed, she assured me it was ok and everything would work out and it did. I would highly recommend Jodi. She is caring, loving, and very professional. She gets the job done and does it all with a smile on her face. Where could I possibly start when reviewing how spectacular it was to work with Jodi?! My wife and I hired her from out of state and by the time we actually were able to meet her, she felt like family. Every part of our experience with Jodi from booking through receiving our wedding photos was extraordinary. Our engagement pictures were phenomenal even with the mist and rain we had that day and she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera which we were really nervous about. Our wedding pictures were everything we could have asked for and more and everyone loved her sweet personality! I highly recommend booking Jodi for your upcoming wedding. She photographed my wedding in April this year and the images came out perfect. We had a lot of issues on the day, with the weather and the power going out in the main hall for the reception, but this did not at all affect Jodi. She still managed to get spectacular photos of all the guests. My favorite part of the wedding was when the bridal party and groomsmen were waiting for everything to settle down and Jodi took such great photos of us having fun and laughing. It was so great to have her there, more as another friend, rather than a non-participating photographer. Those are the memories I will cherish the most and I was so lucky to have Jodi as our photographer because she is able to get along with everyone, while also paying such close attention to these intimate moments. My husband and I aren't people who are comfortable in photos but Jodi put us right at ease by making us laugh and letting us be ourselves but giving us just the right amount of direction so it looked like we knew what we were doing. Honestly, she made look and feel like the most beautiful bride. Despite all the hick-ups of the day Jodi captured all of the beautiful and intimate parts and made the hick-ups look like a lot of fun. This in the end really is what made everything ok, her calm and positive attitude, cannot be replicated by anyone else. Jodi is spectacular and I cannot wait to work with her again!
