our photos would look stiff, but they don't at all! Laura made us feel so relaxed so that we could just be ourselves. We did both our engagement photos and wedding photos with Laura. We highly recommend doing that so you can get to know each other before the day of the wedding when there is so much other stuff going on. day. He’s a true artist, all our our photos look like they should be on a magazine cover. We were in utter shock looking through the photos. He captured every detail, moment, and encounter so perfectly. The tones and hues on the photos are MAGIC, I cannot believe that’s what our wedding day looked like. We also chose to add on the video package and we are SO happy we did. The video perfectly captured the energy, love, details and the epic party we threw. We genuinely cannot stop watching it. It’s like a music video of the best day of our lives with all of our favorite people. we made when deciding our wedding vendors. From our first conversation, we knew we were in good hands. We loved that Nikk doesn’t do the traditional “posed” photos - he lives very in the moment and that is the reason we got absolutely smashing photos for our wedding. We had Laura photograph our pre-wedding shoot and our Pithi event, and had Laura and Nikk photograph our wedding and just wow. From our first photo to our last, Laura made us feel so so comfortable that our shoots were FUN! We joked at the end that Laura was actually family because it was so seamless integrating her into our events knowing she would capture them beautifully! On our wedding day, Nikk and Laura crushed it - we were running really late but they both made us feel at ease and you can literally see how calm and stress free we felt in the photos - that’s a true testament to them as a team. There were shots we didn’t even know they were taking and I cannot explain enough how much those unexpected shots were my favorite. If there’s any decision you should make for your wedding or any event it’s to book with them!

There is so much authenticity in his photos. He captures all the raw, beautiful moments instead of staging them. I never once felt like I was forced into posing for a bunch of photos or that I was taken away from the actual experience. It can be overwhelming finding a photographer when there is a sea of people to choose from, but his work is unique and definitely stands out from all the others - art that is simply effortless yet stunning. He did both our engagement and wedding. Both times were so comfortable and fun and it honestly just felt like we were hanging out with a friend. Nikk will probably be one of the most chill, easy going people you meet. If you want to hang out with someone really cool and also get the best photos ever, he’s the one!

small ceremony with only ten people at a gorgeous venue and wanted someone who could capture the intimacy of a small ceremony in a way that fit with our personalities. Nikk was that person. He was laid back, unobtrusive, and gave us amazing direction when posing us. We are both super awkward when taking photographs but Nikk made us feel comfortable and made it a fun process and I just remember laughing almost the entire time. We received our photo gallery a little over three weeks after. Our photos came out even more stunning than I could imagine! It was a good mix of posed and candid photos. The candid photos make me so emotional when I look at them because they feel so intimate, authentic, and I don’t even remember Nikk being there to capture the moment. That’s how unobtrusive he is. He seriously worked his magic and has an amazing eye and made us look like we belonged in a magazine. Everyone that we have shown the photos to have said the same thing: they can feel the love and happiness radiating from everyone in each photograph. I can’t even begin to express how much we love our photos and how pleased we are with Nikk’s service. We would recommend Nikk to anybody!

Nikk was super professional and responsive throughout the planning process and we received our full gallery of edited photos back within exactly a month’s time. The video was also AMAZING and made my husband and I tear up from joy. Our vows were woven so perfectly into the video and they caught so many sweet moments. Working with him on our wedding day enhanced the experience for us due to his enthusiasm and dedication to his art. He was excited from the beginning that we were to be married at Justine’s Secret House and his strengths really shone through in the many candid shots he took to capture the whole evening from the guests arriving through the gates to the closing dance party. Nikk was confident, hardworking, and a lot of fun to be around. Nikk made us feel so comfortable with this whole idea, and we decided to move forward, and we are so happy we did. Nikk's team was so professional and fun to work with; we had a blast the whole wedding weekend. If you are trying to decide whether or not to work with Nikk and his team, the answer is YES! We looked at a handful of photographers that had a photojournalistic style and Nikk’s talent was clearly on another level. We asked each of them to share a full gallery from one of their weddings and many were a mix of great and mediocre shots but Nikk’s were perfect storybooks from beginning to end. We booked an engagement shoot because we needed a nice photo for our website and it helped us feel more comfortable and know what to expect on the wedding day. I’m extremely camera shy but he gives good direction and makes the most awkward people look good. He was awesome to work with, made the whole process stress-free, and was really on top of things – crazy quick communication, followed up with us on details, professional but equally laid back, and his turn around times were so much quicker than we expected which was a nice bonus. particular with photo styles too, but when I came across Nikk’s photos while searching, I was instantly captivated by his photos and the vibes that came out of it. I automatically booked him, and we scheduled a consultation. Nikk was super chill , friendly and prompt with his responses. The day of the wedding came, Nikk arrived and captured every moment. He would provide cues and suggestions on how to pose whenever any one of us felt awkward. He was also really fast to capture the candid moments too! From us dancing, to our nephew smiling, the little moments that you sometimes don’t think much about- he captured them all. After the wedding ended, I was really excited to see the photos. I didn’t want to rush because I know photo editing takes awhile, but of course, Nikk is an all star- so we got our photos earlier than expected! Looking back, we are happy we had Nikk document our day. We had no big agenda but the pictures conveyed and told a story I originally hoped to have captured- a beautiful moment to look back and smile about. We are so grateful to Nikk and definitely recommend his work. I can’t express enough on how great he is professionally but also personally too. We really will cherish our photos and can’t wait to book him again in the future for another chapter of life.

kk, I knew I wouldn’t have to worry at all about working with him. He was incredibly responsive, and made me feel at ease from the first conversation. As for the event itself, Nikk was very personable and friendly but completely non intrusive. My husband and I are super awkward but he made the process so easy and comfortable. As for the photos, Nikk is a lighting wizard. Seriously. My wedding looks like something out of an Oscar winning movie. I am also not one to ever feel beautiful, but there are a lot of shots where he almost tricked me. For this, I am thankful. I can’t recommend him enough and will be looking for his services for any other life event in the future that requires a photographer.
