I am absolutely obsessed with my wedding photos thanks to Steve Robinson who did an outstanding job for me during my lowcountry beach wedding in Mount Pleasant, SC. Every picture was just what I wanted and I couldn’t ve happier because I also feel as if the prices are reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend booking southern palms for your wedding!!

We used Southern Palms Studio for our engagement photos, wedding photography, and video. Steve and Zack were great! Our photos turned out amazing, and we received them super early, which is a bonus. They also did an outstanding job on our wedding highlight video. We could not recommend them enough.

My husband and I decided to do a reception only (we eloped in May). Southern Palms studio was an incredible choice for our Photography and Videography needs! They adjusted to our unique timeline and requests, were incredibly kind and professional, and the results were beyond amazing. I cannot express how happy I am with their work. Zack had such good energy while working with him. He was kind, encouraging, and captured an amazing film. Steve at Southern Palms is the most skilled and professional photographer, full stop. He fosters a very comfortable atmosphere, and is very kind, polite, and funny, not to mention the efficiency he has in getting every shot. I'm not sure how many photographers would be willing, let alone capable, of climbing up the St. Augustine Lighthouse to get shots and then back down to take aerial shots with a drone, all while only having about 20 minutes of light left in the day. His vision and pose coaching are spectacular even when managing shots with 20+ people. We loved working with Steve, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Hailey and the Southern Palms Studio team were great to work with for our wedding photography! We also got engagement photos done with her, which was great in preparation for our big day. We enjoyed the engagement shoot and she made us feel very comfortable. The photos turned out fantastic. In preparation for the big day, SP sends our very helpful information and forms for you to complete to ensure you have all the photos you want planned. Day of, Hailey did a wonderful job getting the shots we were looking for and guiding us through each of them. So far our sneak peeks look INCREDIBLE and we can’t wait to see the rest. We would highly recommend Southern Palms Studio for any photography needs!

Steve with Southern Palms studio was a great choice for our wedding photography! Since the initial conversation, to receiving the finished product, dealing with him was super easy and stress free. I wasn’t sure if I needed a videographer. Weddings are already so expensive so I was hesitant. However after receiving my highlight reel we were SO glad we did. Southern Palms Studio recreated our day perfectly. We will cherish this video the rest of our life. They were so professional and awesome to work with. 10/10 service!!!

We used Southern Palms Studio for our wedding on 1/7/23 & we are completely pleased with our decision. They made sure to get shot lists before the wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our photos and videos turned out perfect. They even went the extra mile and provided me with a short film of our letter reading to have as a keepsake. Highly recommend Southern Palms for your future wedding!

We really liked our main photographer, but were disappointed by our second shooter that we paid an additional cost for. Our second shooter commented to my husband that he wasn’t sure what the main photographer wanted from him while photographing the grooms suite, and frankly it shows. We have some gorgeous photos from our wedding day, and some photos that are poorly shot and composed (several are off center/tilted), you can tell who took which pictures instead of having a cohesive album/style. That said, Southern Palms did get us our photos within a week of our wedding which was amazing and the cost was quite reasonable. We just wish there had been more communication between the two photographers and at a minimum a matching style.

My husband and I would recommend this vendor over and over again! They were a blast to have at our wedding and the photos and videos are amazing! Their kindness did not go unnoticed! Wedding day is stressful with so much going on but this team made sure to help us enjoy the moments with some jokes, making sure my hair and dress were perfect, and everything in between! They are quick to respond to any question or concern which is very appreciated in the planning process! Every penny was worth it to have them on our day! Thank you a million times to Steve, Mark, and Tyler, and Zach!

Having your wedding day captured is incredibly important and hiring a professional to do it right is just as important. Zack and Heather were such a pleasure to work with during our Wedding. He was quick and efficient when capturing our specific shot list, as well as the entire day. He was able to work around the weather and made sure to keep us laughing and engaged to capture our true emotions. The turnaround time for our edited digital album was unbelievable, and we were not disappointed with the product. I would also like to note that their customer service was incredible. Lisa answered every question we had along the way with such care and speed we felt so much comfort going into our Wedding. My wedding was just recently on March 6, 2021 and we came across Southern Palms studio for videography and fell in love with how they did their videos. Unfortunately, they were already booked but Zach, the owner has a second company that he taught the same exact techniques to and we went with them as it was an extension of Southern Palms. I cannot say this enough, spend your money on your videographer and photography!! It is so worth it in the end. Nobody is going to care about the color of the centerpieces or the flowers. What will matter are the photos and video. We were blown away with our video. It felt like a music video for the song we chose but 10x better!!!! Everything was magical! They were so professional and it was everything we could've dreamed of. Also, Lisa was super helpful and sweet! Thank you so much guys!!!

To say Southern Palm Studios delivered perfection is an understatement! I could not be happier with their work, Tyler was amazing, he helped me with my timeline, was hilarious and just an absolute pleasure to work with. I have watched my video at least a dozen times in the last 24hrs and it takes me back to my wedding day and I am able to relive my day over and over. If you haven’t, you NEED to book them !

Zach is THE best. He is so professional and knows exactly what he is doing. We had a very large bridal party but he was able to direct everyone and the video turned out amazing. He captured the day so perfectly and we are so happy we chose Zach.

But when I met with Southern Palms at a bridal show, I knew I had to work with them! Their work is beautiful and was the exact style that I was looking for. My husband and I had to postpone our original wedding in NY due to the pandemic but were still wanting to get married on our original date and have a very small ceremony on the beach on Jekyll island. We knew we wanted to hire a videographer so that we had a special keepsake video that we could have to remember our small but special day, as well as share with our family who could not attend. Zack and Tyler made our wedding day such a breeze. They were very personable, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and kept us smiling and laughing the entire time. Zack and his team were excellent. They clearly knew what they were doing, anticipated moments, and prepared me for certain moments that they wanted to get on film so I didn't look at the camera! I received my highlight video shortly after my wedding followed quickly by my entire ceremony and reception video. Their work is just beautiful.

If you've started the wedding planning process, you've already discovered that picking a wedding photographer is a difficult decision. Personally, I think the photographer is the most important wedding vendor. I felt all this pressure to pick the perfect person in a price range that I could afford. I had scheduled so many meetings with numerous different companies in Florida and Georgia. The first on my list was meeting Tyler and Zac with Southern Palm Studio. After my meeting with Tyler and Zac, I canceled all the other meetings. My mind was made up. They completely sold me and not because there are good salesmen, but because I could tell that they were honest, genuine, and cared about me and my husband. I instantly fell in love with Tyler's talent. His lighting and angles were so perfect. His photos weren't over edited or "fake". I could feel the love that these couples shared through a photograph. The couples were posed but everything looked so fluid and effortless. You can truly tell that he has a passion for wedding photography and cares about his clients. As soon as I put down the down payment, I felt confident. Tyler communicated with me throughout the planning process. He checked on me and asked how I was doing. I felt like he actually cared and he gave me good advice along the way. He even reached out to me on Veteran's Day to tell my husband thank you for his service. When our wedding day came, we felt like we had known Tyler for years. There was an instant connection and he blew us away. He could turn around and command a non-listening family member and then turn to us and calm every single nerve we had. It was truly amazing to watch him go from hard to gentle. My husband and I could tell that Tyler had us as his main focus, he just wanted our happiness. People don't talk about post-wedding depression but I believe it's a real thing. The day went by so fast and I was so sad. I kept wishing we could just go back. After Tyler got my photos back, I literally spent hours gawking and crying over them. I didn't realize that a photographer could make you relive a day. Now, every time I look at the photos, it takes me back. All the photos have emotion and love in them. He captured everything we wanted and more. I want every single photo, yes all 862 of them, on the walls of my home. Tyler was the best purchase I have ever made and honestly I would have paid him triple for the results we got. Tyler, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU.

After talking to all my girlfriends and hearing about their stories of their photographers I can say Zack and Tyler at Southern Palms Studio are the best out there. I planned my wedding from out of state and they were so helpful! From makeup recommendations to helping me with my wedding timeline, they were amazing! Also, being in front of a camera was never my favorite thing but they made the experience so fun and I LOVE how the pictures turned out!

I read hundreds of reviews before picking a photographer. Not being from the area this was super hard but this was the best decision ever. Our photographer, Tyler was amazing. From the time he arrived he let us know what to expect and gave us a timeline for keeping on track. Our coordinator backed out because of the hurricane looming. Tyler stepped up and took charge. Not only was he our photographer but basically our coordinator. Some family complained about Tyler being "bossy" but he was simply looking out for the bride and grooms wishes and he always kept that his priority. I could not have asked for anything more. Amazing.

Is it possible to give 10 stars? They are all SO very professional, knowledgeable, easy-going, and talented. I loved every single second of working with this company on my engagement and wedding photography/videography. Tyler is especially incredible! He's so funny and makes doing awkward wedding poses so much fun and look incredibly natural. He was so helpful with timelines, creative shots, and really making our special day look magical. Zane worked wonders with our video. He managed to make us look like movie stars! Our highlight video is everything I could have wanted and more. I receive nothing but compliments on how beautiful my photos and video are. We are so lucky to have such incredible memories from our wedding day that serve as breathtaking art. AMAZING is an understatement. Hiring Tyler with Southern Palms Studio was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Every aspect of planning our day was a breeze. Tyler collaborated with us before the big day to ensure we had a game plan for what shots I wanted and even helped me plan a timeline for our day. His professionalism, friendly demeanor, and pure talent are just a few things that make him the perfect wedding photographer. Our photos were edited and available for us to view within a few short weeks after our wedding (with some teasers sent a few days after) and sent to us in an online gallery that was easy to share with friends and family. We constantly get compliments on what a great job he did. I highly recommend!!!

We are so impressed with how beautiful our wedding photos and video turned out. The pictures and highlight video exceeded all of our expectations. Tyler and Zane were funny and made us feel comfortable in front of the cameras (we are not ones for a lot of attention!). Tyler was our lead for our wedding day and we had such a great time with him. We received our highlight video in under a month, it was amazing! We had a very long wedding day and were concerned how, and if all of the important parts would make it into just a 4 minute highlight video. Tyler and the editing team did a phenomenal job, we could not believe how everything was there and how beautifully it was put together! We are very pleased with our decision to hire Southern Palms as our videographer.

I’ll start off by saying I’m naturally not a patient person. I was apprehensive with hiring a videographer because of the added expense and it doesn’t check off the box of “traditional” wedding vendors. After coming across Southern Palms work, we decided it would be worth it to relive our day in such a cinematic style. We also had a bunch of family that were unable to make the wedding due to health reasons so having a full ceremony video helped them feel a part of our wedding ceremony which was very important to us. On me being impatient, I was blown away with how fast my questions and emails were answered along with how long it was before we got our wedding video back, under 2 weeks! Amazing! This made me so happy, we had heard horror stories from friends that waited 6+ months to get photos and videos back from other companies. So happy with our decision to hire Southern Palms!

Wow! We originally hired Southern Palms Studio because we fell in love with their cinematic style. We started working with Zack in the office who manages all of the important parts for wedding videography. Our videographer the day of, Tyler, was great to work with, he knew exactly what to say and do at the right moments. We were able to talk with him before the wedding day which made us feel even more comfortable with the whole process. We got our video back super fast and were completely blown away. It’s been several months now and we are still getting compliments, we are telling all of our friends to hire Southern Palms for their wedding!!!

These guys know their stuff! We hired Southern Palms for our wedding and we were blown away with what they captured for our wedding day. My mom was really particular with some of the shots she wanted, mainly recreating photos from her wedding, Tyler was able to take our shot list and get everything we wanted and more. We couldn’t be happier with our photos!

Zack and Lauren were AHHHMAZING. Choosing our photo & video was top priority when our wedding planning began. I could not have been happier with Bow Tie. From my first call with Zack, I appreciated how knowledgeable and organized he was - this continued through to our wedding day and we were able to get all the pictures we wanted without feeling rushed. Zach was AMAZING!! We have nothing but good things to say about him. Zach was so easy to work with from the very beginning and was so responsive with every question we had. He made our wedding day run so smoothly and we never felt rushed taking all the pictures. He was so easy to listen to and told everyone how to stand, look, move etc. which was really helpful. He captured every important moment and made sure we got every picture we wanted. He also has an awesome personality which made him fun to hangout with all day. Booking the wedding photographer for our St Augustine wedding was the most important vendor we'd have to book. I took it seriously and spent hours scrolling through multiple photographer's galleries and websites, trying to find someone that fit our vision. Zack from Bow Tie was the one, and very glad we picked him! Zack's personality was very chill (aka: he will not stress you out at any point during the wedding day or during the wedding planning time period), he was professional, and he knows his stuff. He was even able to herd the groomsmen and make sure none of them got lost lol (the groomsmen had been drinking, and one was probably high). We were able to get a timeline from him and finish all the photos we wanted to finish before the ceremony, with time to spare. Smooth sailing on the wedding day! Our teaser photos were fantastic and I have one sitting right in front of me now, in a frame :) Can't wait to get a book together of our wedding photos (we have like 1000+ to pick from OMG). I know the photos are something we will cherish for years to come. Zack's work is great and well worth the price.

Zack was one of the best investments we made for our wedding! My husband and I aren't particularly comfortable around a camera, but Zack made the experience very laid back and relaxing. He was very quick to respond to our emails and easy to communicate with. A year after and we still get so many compliments about our wedding photos. Worth every damn penny. Zack is an amazing photographer - he also works really well with his other shooters! Zack offers different packages at different price points. For a large group like ours, we went with two shooters for 9 hours. This package also included a complimentary engagement photoshoot. DEFINITELY well worth what we paid for! Zack knows how to position people, which is quite important for photoshoots. His editing of the photos are very clean. I was very picky looking for photographers and the style of how he shoots was definitely eye-catching! Zack is also very cool and laid back. Responds well to communication! Highly recommend Bow Tie Photo for your wedding. They also just started doing videography, which is a super plus!!! Thank you for making our day extra special, Zack!!

Bow Tie Photo and Video are above the rest! Not only was Zack great to work with prior to the wedding, he came in with a vision of how he would capture our day! While most videographers take weeks to provide you with your final video, he had it done by the end of the reception so that we could share it with all of our guests at the end of night, it’s better than any wedding video we have ever seen! Our guests were BLOWN away and yours will be too! If you’re looking for someone to capture the love, joy, and excitement of your day that you will get to relive for years to come, look no further than Zack Glenn!

My wedding was on 10/26 and 10/27 (I had a Cambodian wedding and a “white dress” wedding) and Zach did an EXCELLENT job for both! He has a ton of experience and even if I couldn’t always tell what he was going for, it all came together in the video and looked amazing! He even did a same-day edit and showed the video at the end of my reception, which was especially impressive because we did the garter/bouquet toss literally 5-10 minutes before he showed the video and it STILL made it into the video! I highly recommend Zach and his Bow Tie Photo team - they’re all extremely talented and fun to work with and I will absolutely book them again for any future videos!

Where do I even begin?! Zack was absolutely amazing to work with from Day 1. In the beginning we facetimed two different photographers, and we knew once we got off the phone with Zack that he was going to be the perfect match for our special day. He was very accommodating when my fiancé got sick with food poisoning the day he was coming to us for our engagement photo shoot...thankfully we were able to fit in a shoot in St. Augustine. We vibed right away during the engagement shoot and the pictures turned out absolutely incredible!! And then came the wedding, and Zack was there to calm me down and help plan the vintage truck I surprised my husband with for our first look photos. The final product of photos are amazing, so much that I have too many favorites to choose from! I would pick Bow Tie Photo over and over again, I wouldn't of had it any other way! I cannot say it enough...pick amazing vendors, they will make your wedding (especially if you feed Zack some cold brew)!

I wish I could rate Zack higher because he is truly amazing! He was recommended to us by our videographer, Ryan Gledermann, and I am so happy we chose to move forward with him. He took our engagement photos and our wedding photos. The photos speak for themselves and Zack has a great eye for detail! On wedding day while I was trying to get ready Zack was cool as a cucumber and so laid back. He brought this wonderful calmness around and it felt like he wasn't even there. We had a photo list that we had sent him but when we were done with photos he was happy to move on too. He went above and beyond expectations and we couldn't have hoped for more on our wedding day. We are so pleased with Zack and his team. I highly recommend him for your wedding!

Words cannot say enough about Bow Tie Photo! We hired Zack and his for our wedding in March of 2018! From the first time we meet Zack we knew we picked the right photographer for our big day! We did our engagement pictures with him and got them back and absolutely loved them. Then the wedding day comes! Zack showed up early ready to take pictures. He started just snapping pictures, didn’t waste any time which I love! You can Zack is extremely passionate about what he does. Zack and his wife Lauren were wonderful on the wedding day. Then we got our pictures back! Zack completely outdid himself. They were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Thank you bow tie photo! Everything I’d hoped for in an engagement session and more! We had so much fun with Zack in Palm Coast and St. Augustine and he made everything effortless on my part. I was so impressed with how he used the sun peeking through the trees to create perfect lighting and was able to efficiently switch from stunning portraits in the park to artistic shots that captured us in the sun and shadows of a gorgeous building in town. I have a fiancé who typically makes a funny face when I try to take his picture, and Zack made him look like a model (it’s magic!). As someone who has never really been professionally photographed before, I appreciated the skill with which Zack directed us to make our ‘poses’ look natural and beautiful. If I had it all to do again, I’d do it exactly the same. Zack was professional, took the most AMAZING photos, and had us laughing all morning!

We loved having Tyler from Southern Palms as our wedding photographer. He knew all of the places to be at the right times to capture beautiful photos of us. We had a family list of photos that was really important to us because of how rare it is for all of these family members to be together, and he got every single one of them!!! My wife and I hired Tyler from Southern Palms Studio a few months ago when our original photographer backed out at the eleventh hour. We could tell by our initial video call with Tyler that he had the right personality for us. Super positive and light-hearted. He also seemed to really know his stuff, which obviously is vital. We hired Bow Tie Photo for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Words can't fully describe how amazing the experience has been from start to finish. Folks, if you need someone to capture a moment as precious as any special day, Zack is THE person for the job. The quality of the engagement and wedding photos were amazing! In each photo you can see the care and attention Zack put into the composition of each shot. Pricing was never a point of friction. All questions were handled professionally and Zack did a good job in making the payments easy. Zack was flexible and attentive during both the engagement and wedding photos. There were a couple of curveballs because we had planned to have our wedding photos taken outside (e.g. unexpected torrential downpour of rain), but Zack was alerted and adapted to a changed setting.
