We are SO happy we decided to book with Southern Palms Studio. We corresponded with a Zack during the booking and planning process, and he was extremely professional, friendly and always quick to respond. Tyler, our videographer, did an incredible job capturing every little moment from the day of our wedding. He directed us in what to do, which in the end turned out beautiful on film. The artistic way he shot the day was nothing short of a true professional. And the editing work the team did was incredible! We were completely blown away with the end result in our highlight video. Thank you Zack and Tyler!!

Tyler was our lead for our wedding day and we had such a great time with him. We received our highlight video in under a month, it was amazing! We had a very long wedding day and were concerned how, and if all of the important parts would make it into just a 4 minute highlight video. Tyler and the editing team did a phenomenal job, we could not believe how everything was there and how beautifully it was put together! We are very pleased with our decision to hire Southern Palms as our videographer.

I’ll start off by saying I’m naturally not a patient person. I was apprehensive with hiring a videographer because of the added expense and it doesn’t check off the box of “traditional” wedding vendors. After coming across Southern Palms work, we decided it would be worth it to relive our day in such a cinematic style. We also had a bunch of family that were unable to make the wedding due to health reasons so having a full ceremony video helped them feel a part of our wedding ceremony which was very important to us. On me being impatient, I was blown away with how fast my questions and emails were answered along with how long it was before we got our wedding video back, under 2 weeks! Amazing! This made me so happy, we had heard horror stories from friends that waited 6+ months to get photos and videos back from other companies. So happy with our decision to hire Southern Palms!

Wow! We originally hired Southern Palms Studio because we fell in love with their cinematic style. We started working with Zack in the office who manages all of the important parts for wedding videography. Our videographer the day of, Tyler, was great to work with, he knew exactly what to say and do at the right moments. We were able to talk with him before the wedding day which made us feel even more comfortable with the whole process. We got our video back super fast and were completely blown away. It’s been several months now and we are still getting compliments, we are telling all of our friends to hire Southern Palms for their wedding!!!

These guys know their stuff! We hired Southern Palms for our wedding and we were blown away with what they captured for our wedding day. My mom was really particular with some of the shots she wanted, mainly recreating photos from her wedding, Tyler was able to take our shot list and get everything we wanted and more. We couldn’t be happier with our photos!

Zack and Lauren were AHHHMAZING. Choosing our photo & video was top priority when our wedding planning began. I could not have been happier with Bow Tie. From my first call with Zack, I appreciated how knowledgeable and organized he was - this continued through to our wedding day and we were able to get all the pictures we wanted without feeling rushed. I would absolutely recommend both their photo and video work.

Zach was AMAZING!! We have nothing but good things to say about him. Zach was so easy to work with from the very beginning and was so responsive with every question we had. He made our wedding day run so smoothly and we never felt rushed taking all the pictures. He was so easy to listen to and told everyone how to stand, look, move etc. which was really helpful. He captured every important moment and made sure we got every picture we wanted. He also has an awesome personality which made him fun to hangout with all day. Booking the wedding photographer for our St Augustine wedding was the most important vendor we'd have to book. I took it seriously and spent hours scrolling through multiple photographer's galleries and websites, trying to find someone that fit our vision. Zack from Bow Tie was the one, and very glad we picked him! Zack's personality was very chill (aka: he will not stress you out at any point during the wedding day or during the wedding planning time period), he was professional, and he knows his stuff. He was even able to herd the groomsmen and make sure none of them got lost lol (the groomsmen had been drinking, and one was probably high). We were able to get a timeline from him and finish all the photos we wanted to finish before the ceremony, with time to spare. Smooth sailing on the wedding day! Our teaser photos were fantastic and I have one sitting right in front of me now, in a frame :) Can't wait to get a book together of our wedding photos (we have like 1000+ to pick from OMG). I know the photos are something we will cherish for years to come. Zack's work is great and well worth the price.

Zack was one of the best investments we made for our wedding! My husband and I aren't particularly comfortable around a camera, but Zack made the experience very laid back and relaxing. He was very quick to respond to our emails and easy to communicate with. A year after and we still get so many compliments about our wedding photos. I would highly recommend Bow Tie Photo for your wedding!

Worth every damn penny. Zack is an amazing photographer - he also works really well with his other shooters! Zack offers different packages at different price points. For a large group like ours, we went with two shooters for 9 hours. This package also included a complimentary engagement photoshoot. DEFINITELY well worth what we paid for! Zack knows how to position people, which is quite important for photoshoots. His editing of the photos are very clean. I was very picky looking for photographers and the style of how he shoots was definitely eye-catching! Zack is also very cool and laid back. Responds well to communication! Highly recommend Bow Tie Photo for your wedding. They also just started doing videography, which is a super plus!!! Thank you for making our day extra special, Zack!!

Bow Tie Photo and Video are above the rest! Not only was Zack great to work with prior to the wedding, he came in with a vision of how he would capture our day! While most videographers take weeks to provide you with your final video, he had it done by the end of the reception so that we could share it with all of our guests at the end of night, it’s better than any wedding video we have ever seen! Our guests were BLOWN away and yours will be too! If you’re looking for someone to capture the love, joy, and excitement of your day that you will get to relive for years to come, look no further than Zack Glenn!

My wedding was on 10/26 and 10/27 (I had a Cambodian wedding and a “white dress” wedding) and Zach did an EXCELLENT job for both! He has a ton of experience and even if I couldn’t always tell what he was going for, it all came together in the video and looked amazing! He even did a same-day edit and showed the video at the end of my reception, which was especially impressive because we did the garter/bouquet toss literally 5-10 minutes before he showed the video and it STILL made it into the video! I highly recommend Zach and his Bow Tie Photo team - they’re all extremely talented and fun to work with and I will absolutely book them again for any future videos!

Where do I even begin?! Zack was absolutely amazing to work with from Day 1. In the beginning we facetimed two different photographers, and we knew once we got off the phone with Zack that he was going to be the perfect match for our special day. He was very accommodating when my fiancé got sick with food poisoning the day he was coming to us for our engagement photo shoot...thankfully we were able to fit in a shoot in St. Augustine. We vibed right away during the engagement shoot and the pictures turned out absolutely incredible!! And then came the wedding, and Zack was there to calm me down and help plan the vintage truck I surprised my husband with for our first look photos. The final product of photos are amazing, so much that I have too many favorites to choose from! I would pick Bow Tie Photo over and over again, I wouldn't of had it any other way! I cannot say it enough...pick amazing vendors, they will make your wedding (especially if you feed Zack some cold brew)!

I wish I could rate Zack higher because he is truly amazing! He was recommended to us by our videographer, Ryan Gledermann, and I am so happy we chose to move forward with him. He took our engagement photos and our wedding photos. The photos speak for themselves and Zack has a great eye for detail! On wedding day while I was trying to get ready Zack was cool as a cucumber and so laid back. He brought this wonderful calmness around and it felt like he wasn't even there. We had a photo list that we had sent him but when we were done with photos he was happy to move on too. He went above and beyond expectations and we couldn't have hoped for more on our wedding day. We are so pleased with Zack and his team. I highly recommend him for your wedding!

Words cannot say enough about Bow Tie Photo! We hired Zack and his for our wedding in March of 2018! From the first time we meet Zack we knew we picked the right photographer for our big day! We did our engagement pictures with him and got them back and absolutely loved them. Then the wedding day comes! Zack showed up early ready to take pictures. He started just snapping pictures, didn’t waste any time which I love! You can Zack is extremely passionate about what he does. Zack and his wife Lauren were wonderful on the wedding day. Then we got our pictures back! Zack completely outdid himself. They were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Thank you bow tie photo! Everything I’d hoped for in an engagement session and more! We had so much fun with Zack in Palm Coast and St. Augustine and he made everything effortless on my part. I was so impressed with how he used the sun peeking through the trees to create perfect lighting and was able to efficiently switch from stunning portraits in the park to artistic shots that captured us in the sun and shadows of a gorgeous building in town. I have a fiancé who typically makes a funny face when I try to take his picture, and Zack made him look like a model (it’s magic!). As someone who has never really been professionally photographed before, I appreciated the skill with which Zack directed us to make our ‘poses’ look natural and beautiful. If I had it all to do again, I’d do it exactly the same. Zack was professional, took the most AMAZING photos, and had us laughing all morning!

We loved having Tyler from Southern Palms as our wedding photographer. He knew all of the places to be at the right times to capture beautiful photos of us. We had a family list of photos that was really important to us because of how rare it is for all of these family members to be together, and he got every single one of them!!! We couldn't be happier with our photos!

My wife and I hired Tyler from Southern Palms Studio a few months ago when our original photographer backed out at the eleventh hour. We could tell by our initial video call with Tyler that he had the right personality for us. Super positive and light-hearted. He also seemed to really know his stuff, which obviously is vital. We hired Bow Tie Photo for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. Words can't fully describe how amazing the experience has been from start to finish. Folks, if you need someone to capture a moment as precious as any special day, Zack is THE person for the job. The quality of the engagement and wedding photos were amazing! In each photo you can see the care and attention Zack put into the composition of each shot. Pricing was never a point of friction. All questions were handled professionally and Zack did a good job in making the payments easy. Zack was flexible and attentive during both the engagement and wedding photos. There were a couple of curveballs because we had planned to have our wedding photos taken outside (e.g. unexpected torrential downpour of rain), but Zack was alerted and adapted to a changed setting. The shots were beautifully captured that made the weather appear to be on purpose! His skill as a photographer and also for the care he put into making our wedding photo shoot made our day a truly delightful experience. Bow Tie Photo made us feel comfortable and natural in front of the lens. Most importantly, his work was absolutely stunning and we received overwhelming compliments for the photos he had taken for us. Zack is approachable, professional and makes the experience (both engagement and wedding day photos ) fun! The protrait photos are absolutely breathtaking and Zack was sure to get many candid shots all night without being incredibly obtrusive. He was incredibly patient with late parents, approaching rain and herds of tourists near the White House. He was able to even make the photos look like there was no one else around AND keep onlookers away. I can not recommend Zack enough - he truly is a genius with his work. Absolutely amazing and we are so grateful!

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this company deserves it! 5 stars! I originally reached out to Zack from Bowtie Photography for my wedding day, but he was already booked :( He let me know that he runs another company called Southern Palm Studios that shares his exact aesthetic, and for a fraction of the cost. I was a little reluctant at first to be honest, but after viewing Tyler's work (Tyler was our photographer) I was immediately sold. Tyler was such a pleasure to work with. He made my hubby and I feel very relaxed in front of the camera. Throughout the whole day, he was non-intrusive, and very detail oriented; capturing some shots of my grandmother's pendant, among a lot more family memorabilia that were important to us. I truly can not express my gratitude enough to Tyler for making the happiest day of my life the most memorable. I get teary-eyed just looking at our photos - then again I am a big baby, haha! Thanks Tyler!!!

We booked Southern Palms Studio only a few months before our wedding, it was a (relative) last minute decision, and I have to say one of the best we made for our wedding day! We had a small intimate setting for our ceremony and reception, and wanted that captured. We got our photos back and they looked BETTER than we envisioned!!! Lauren in the office made and helped us with a list of all the must have family photos, which was really important to us because so many guests came from out of town. We are so very happy with the results, we are recommending to everyone!!!!

I can't imagine having anyone but Zack and Lauren as our wedding photographers! They were absolutely amazing. When I was running behind on hair and makeup, he did not make me feel rushed one bit and still got all the photos I requested. He made sure family photos at the church went quick and smooth so we could head to the reception in a timely manner. You never once felt like he was in your face or in the way at all during the wedding. The way he works was so organic to the event. The teasers we have gotten back are absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos.. do not hesitate and book Bow Tie Photo for your wedding!

Zack and the Bowtie team were the best from the very begging. We met them at a Bridal Expo and we were blown away by Zack's work. It was then, I knew we had to have him! Photos are what last as the forever memory of your wedding. So you want someone that can capture it all in all kinds of situations. It helps that Zack is super friendly as his is talented. We did not get a single engagement photo or wedding photo we did not LOVE! It is also saying something when your wedding planner and fellow wedding vendors say it is some of the best work they have seen! I want to have my wedding all over again just so we can get more of Zack's photos! I am beyond happy we went with Bow Tie!

We just got our wedding photos back, and they’re beyond incredible! Zack is not only professional and easy to work with, he’s also a true artist and a master of his craft. He captured so many beautiful moments for us, both posed and candid, and I’m so excited to show everyone. Both the engagement shoot and second shooter were well worth it. Some of my favorite photos of my husband and I were taken at our engagement shoot in St. Augustine, and it really helped both of us feel comfortable in front of the camera on our wedding day. Tyler, the second shooter for our wedding, was also awesome, whether capturing a moment from a different angle or hiding behind my dress, holding just the right light at just the right angle so Zack could get the perfect shot. Zack and his team captured our wedding day absolutely beautifully. Of the hundreds of photos he provided us with, there was not a single one that didn’t move me to tears. He knew exactly what we wanted and got all the shots we asked for and more. I am never a happy camper when I’m out in the heat, and Zack was fantastically quick about the outdoor portraits without losing even an ounce of quality. Choosing Zack as our wedding photographer was by far best decision we made in our wedding planning. He is truly unique at his craft and really took the time to work with us and make sure we understood how the day would go. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He had such great ideas for different locations and when/where the light would be good and was always on top of our timeline. Zack of Bow Tie Photo is a long time family friend, which can sometimes get complicated with hiring for work, especially for your wedding day. However, we are pleased to say that we cannot be happier with photos Zack and his team captured on our wedding day. Photography was the most important component to our wedding to me. It sounds cliché, but it’s entirely true that after the wedding all you have are the memories and the photos and video to relive it. Our wedding day schedule was a bit complicated and it required Zack and all of our vendors to stay right on track in order to make everything run smooth. We were seriously impressed with how well Zack stuck to our timeline as well as being flexible for on the fly changes and was still able to exceed our photography expectations. Zack did a great job with taking our “candid portraits” that he talked to us in depth about prior to our wedding while also getting lots of organic moments throughout the day of our families and friends. One of our favorite parts is that Zack edits and delivers a ton (literally a ton) of photos and we have the image rights to print, share, make albums on our own, using any image we want. We will recommend him to everyone we know getting married, his ease and professionalism the day of combined with the quality of his work is unmatched!

Zach was amazing, and possibly my favorite vendor that we hired. His professionalism and attention to detail kept us on schedule all day and my new wife is obsessed with the photos! I cannot say enough good things about Zack. Not only were his photos STUNNING, they captured the energy of my husband and I's relationship perfectly- something I think is a rare talent in a photographer. Working with Zack was an stress-free, great experience- he was open to any and every idea I had and his number one goal was to make me happy- which he absolutely did! Not only that, but he was the only photographer willing to work with us on price for a small, courthouse wedding with 1.5 hours photography- all others wanted to charge us for a full, all-day wedding! So very happy we had Zack and Larry photographing our wedding. Not only are they amazing photographers but they are so calm and keep you feeling great the day of. They did a great job at keeping us all on schedule without being pushy. We did family and wedding party pictures prior to the ceremony, we were worried about this taking too long but with the Bow Tie crew it was simply a breeze- and fun at that! The photographs are exactly what we envisioned plus more. Zack had some great visions that turned into some fabulous shots. So thankful to have had Bow Tie Photo on our day, we are so excited to share the photos with our families for the rest of our lives!

There are truly no words to describe how grateful we are that Zack was our photographer for our wedding. I have been trying to write a review worthy of the service he provided to us for hours and it’s impossible because he was that spectacular. Zack and I spoke a few time prior to the wedding and he was always on top of his game, even when he was driving he remembered details about the wedding and was able to talk me through some of his ideas on to make our wedding unique and capture the right lighting at the right times. When Zack and his second shooter, Tyler, showed up, they were early and came with a plan (even though he had never shot at our locations before, you would have never known, he is an expert). Going back and forth from the bridesmaids to the groomsman, he was always in motion and always taking pictures, I know he got some amazing candids. He even helped my husband and the Groomsman put on their boutonnieres (shocker, the guys were clueless). Tyler was great, he definitely has an eye for detail and sees things that he changes to make the photos that much better. Zack did whatever it took to get the best shot with the right lighting. At one point he was laying down on his stomach, in dirt and dust to capture a photo without buildings in the background. Not only did Zack go above and beyond the call of duty with his photography skills but they were both a pleasure to be around and made the evening even more special by not only capturing our favorite night but through their personality as well. I had multiple people approach me and tell me how wonderful they were and that they couldn't not wait to see the pictures as Zack had shown them 'sneak peaks' on his camera - which they LOVED! I would work with Zack again without hesitation. If you are looking for a photographer who will capture your vision with unmatched quality, Zack is your guy. We could not be happier with our decision to hire Zack as our wedding photographer! From the second he arrived, we could tell he had his day-of strategy down to a perfect science and that there were going to be so many gorgeous pictures! He was so friendly and helpful (I definitely asked for his advice on non-photography-related matters multiple times), and made posing feel natural and easy. His personal style shines through, and he made us feel like he was capturing us on our wedding day in the ways that we looked best. Zack was communicative throughout the day about his ideas, and some of our favorite pictures were the beautiful nighttime shots that we took outside during the reception. On a few occasions throughout the day I was nervous about staying on track with the day-of timeline, but Zack did an excellent job orchestrating all the large group photos quickly and efficiently and keeping the day on track. He was always organized and one step ahead, which truly took so much stress off of us on our big day. We were so excited to look through the teaser photos Zack sent over just a week later, and know that the rest of the photos are going to be just as beautiful! 5 stars doesn't even begin to explain how grateful I am that Zack was my photographer at my wedding in Washington DC. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable always keeping the bridal party on schedule. Because he was so calm, prepared, and kind throughout the whole process, I never felt rushed or panicked. Even though the ceremony started late, he managed to get all the photos that I wanted with my very large family within the 15 minutes that we had left! Prior to the wedding, he was very responsive and receptive to what I was looking for. He provided wonderful suggestions and even coordinated with my transportation, videographer, and event coordinator to ensure that everything ran smoothly. When we were in D.C. Zack knew exactly where to go/what to do especially when it came to making sure my dress, veil, and flowers were all perfectly placed. Looking at the teasers he provided, he captured so many special moments. Having Zack at my big day not only prevented a lot of stress, but also helped create a lot of memories. I truly cannot thank him enough for how special he made my day. Highly recommend Zack for any event or milestone that you want captured beautifully.

Zack was so awesome to work with!! My original photographer quit on my wedding 30 days out from my wedding. I heard about Zack from one of my friends who had him as their wedding photographer and his pictures of their wedding were so beautiful. I immediatrly reached out to Zack to see if he was available for my wedding. He responded very quickly and luckily he was still available for my wedding date. When I met with Zack, I immediately knew that he would be perfect to be my photographer. He went over what to expect from him as a photographer and the day of timeline for the photography. He also asked me to make a shot list for him to make sure that I got all the photos that I wanted. On the wedding day, Zack arrived early and he was ready to start taking pictures right away! He was very professional and easy to work with and he was even patient during the family pictures when some of my family kept going back into cocktail hour when they were supposed to be taking pictures. While taking pictures, Zack would give us directions on what to do and how to pose which is what my husband and I needed because otherwise we wouldn't know what to do! One week after my wedding I received about two dozen teaser pictures that were all edited and they were all so amazing!! I am confident that Zack was able to capture every aspect of my wedding and I cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures! I would definitely recommend Bow Tie Photo to anyone!

We came across Zack and Bow Tie Photo at a wedding expo in V.A. His personality along with quality of pictures had us feeling at ease and we booked with him the same day! Our engagement pictures were everything we could ask for! We liked that they were candid and he guided us with what to do to ensure amazing pictures. We had such a wonderful time we knew our wedding photos were going to be even better. In April we got married and were ecstatic to work with Zack and his team again. He was everything we wanted in a photographer. He asked many questions prior to the big day to make sure the wedding day would be smooth! Zack even pulled us during our reception to take a five minute break so that we could breathe. Throughout the night Zack also pulled us to show us pictures from the reception! We now have a wonderful website and have been able to share it with out family. The only problem is we have to narrow our 1,100 wonderful pictures down so that we can create a wedding album! We highly recommend Bow Tie Photo and we hope to be able to use him in the future :)

Zack was amazing to work with as our photographer for our engagement session and wedding! We found him at a bridal expo and were immediately attracted to his artistic/clear/bright photo style. He made my husband and I feel comfortable for our big day and a ton of photos when neither of us love being in the "spotlight." Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you: Zack is a little hidden diamond in the photography industry. I just happened to stumble upon him when I called another photographer, who was booked on my day, and he highly recommended him. I had called around to other photographers, but after talking to him on the phone, something about his demeanor made me gravitate towards him immediately. I made the right choice: Zack is the most brilliant, talented photographer I've ever seen. If you think his work is amazing from just looking at what he has posted on his website, wait until you see yourself in his photos. He somehow brings out the beauty and elation of your wedding day in them. When I saw mine, I literally gasped - they were magical, breathtaking. I posted them on my social accounts and I have never got so many likes in my life: everybody said they were absolutely stunning. He always replied very quickly to any email or text I sent him, which is wonderful when you have so much going on with planning a wedding. I wish I could have him follow me around all the time so he could take photos of my life. :-)

Zach is such a great photographer! Our wedding pictures turned out amazing; we keep getting compliments from family and friends about how beautiful they are.
