I first met Dana at my best friend's wedding just two weeks before getting engaged myself. I knew immediately who my first call would be.
From the the very first, Dana was perfecti...
on. She is incredibly organized, knowledgeable, and kind. I was planning my wedding from the UK and I could not have imagined going through this process without her. There were several things I loved about working with Dana, but to name a few:
-Her calmness. At stressful moments of bridal anxiety, the only thing I had to think was - "I have Dana. It will be ok." She held my hand every step of the way with her groundedness and calm energy.
-Her experience with vendors. I was overwhelmed by the amount of options when it came to all the vendors for my wedding, but with Dana's experience, she provided a few options for each vendor after getting to know me and learning what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. We ended up with the the most perfect wedding team, with Dana at the helm, and our day felt so special.
-Her knowledge and organization. It's one of those old sayings - you don't know what you don't know - and it could not be more true for planning a wedding. There were so many tiny details that I didn't realize were part of the day (and I've been a bridesmaid 8 times)! Dana made sure that every detail was organized and planned without being pushy! I loved getting her opinion on how things should go but never felt like I was being told what to do.
-Her kindness. Along with being an expert planner, Dana exuded friendliness and warmth throughout the entire process. It is one thing to have a planner who has their act together when it comes to organization, but to have a planner who is also supportive and kind and a cheerleader for you? It's the trifecta.
If you want the wedding day of your dreams with the planner who makes it all happen, look no further than Dana and Southern Styled Events. She is the best decision (besides my husband) that I made for my wedding.

n a wedding planner! By the time I got engaged, my mom and I had a lot on our plates and knew we needed full service wedding planning. And WOW Dana and her team could not have been a better fit for us. She basically held our hand the entire way and made my dream wedding a reality. Dana has a very calm demeanor which is something I feel like all brides need during the wedding planning process. I was never nervous that something wasn't going to get done because I knew Dana had everything under control. When it came to wedding day I seriously did not worry about a SINGLE THING. All of my bridesmaids and even some vendors remarked on how chill the morning was while we got ready and I can finally reflect that that was because of DANA! I also had a fabulous bridal attendant Miranda who was there with me all day to make sure I had what I needed! There was not a single stresser on the big day. Booking a wedding planner was the smartest thing for me and my mom but booking Dana was a blessing from God! I will forever rave about her and recommend her to my friends and family! We love you Dana and are SO thankful for the energy and commitment it took to make our day so beautiful!

Not only did she keep the day running seamlessly, but you could see how deeply she cared for the couple, their families, and even the vendors. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt supported and taken care of, which speaks volumes about who she is. Dana is truly a one of a kind planner, and her and Miranda make such an incredible team.

Miranda was seriously a guiding light for us from January until the day of! We would talk every week about coordination and what to do next with wedding planning. having this celebration at a private residence would require extra planning. That's where Dana stepped in. The moment I met her she just "got" my wedding vision. Dana was with me every step of the way, from vendor meetings to linen choices. I told her what was important to me and the aspects of wedding planning that I didn't care for, she just completely took off my plate. On the *rare* occasion that something went wrong, not only did she have a backup plan ready, but it was already in action by the time I even realized there was an issue. It's not possible to fully list all the ways Dana stepped up and stepped in, but I will say, my wedding day was the best day of my life! She met us at our venue on on multiple occasions and each meeting made me even more thankful to have her on my team.
