BOOK THIS BAND BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE! My wife and I had SpaceCat perform at our July 2024 wedding, and they were absolutely AMAZING. The coordination with Christian before the event was seamless, and the band was well prepared to make the day a success. We went with the upgraded brass option; it was well worth the investment, but if not, you can’t go wrong with Mr. Sax-man and the rest of the crew. From the live quartet during happy hour, through the emcee duties during dinner, to learning and performing our first dance perfectly, and keeping the party going all night long, we didn’t have a single complaint. After the wedding, our guests couldn’t stop talking about how awesome the band was and how it completely made the night, and we couldn’t agree more. We will definitely be seeking out any opportunity we can to see them again, even if it means crashing another wedding to do it!

WOW! SpaceCat is AMAZING! Christian Darga met with us to plan the whole day and he was so organized. When it came to the day of, my husband spontaneously joined the band on stage and it was incredible!! Everyone at our wedding had the time of their life, and including SpaceCat in our wedding day as our music vendor was hands-down the best decision we made. The musicians are fantastic and I highly recommend SpaceCat to all newly engaged couples planning their wedding.

The SpaceCat's were awesome! They did a perfect Emcee for the Reception; the sound-system was excellent and their guidance kept everything moving right along. Then, the music was perfect for dancing; their crowd interaction was fun and engaging. We were impressed with the size of the band: sax, keyboard, drums, base, guitar, and lead singers (male and female) that lent to a great variety of music options. We would definitely book them again!

SpaceCat was the most AMAZING band and made our wedding unforgettable. We got countless comments telling us how great the band was and they kept the party going all night. They were also so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. Christian was very professional, had multiple check in meetings with us to make sure everything was lined up for the big day. They also have a great list of songs to choose from. They suggest you choose a handful (around 10) songs, and then leave the rest up to them to gauge the energy of the crowd the day of. They were also able to fulfill our special request of having my brother sing our first dance song, being backed up by the band, and they worked seamlessly with us to make that happen. I can't recommend this band enough, both for the quality of their performance and for the ease of working with them leading up to the day o the wedding.

Our wedding guests were absolutely blown away by SpaceCat. I would say that they were the highlight of the night! The energy that they brought along with the ability to engage with everyone in the crowd really made the night. Getting a band was a must for us and SpaceCat confirmed exactly why. We could not have asked for a better performance. In addition, they were great with communication, setup and breakdown. Everything was to our exact specifications on the day of and they kept in contact with us all through the night to ensure things were to our standards. We had an outdoor ceremony and they perfectly set up the sound system for both the ceremony and the reception that took place inside. Nothing else to say other than SpaceCat rocks!

Our reception was so memorable and fun because of SpaceCat! They exceeded all of our expectations and absolutely killed it. I can’t tell you how many people came up to me after our wedding just to say how phenomenal the band was and I couldn’t agree more. Christian was so easy to work with throughout the entire process and very professional. One of my favorite hints about working with SpaceCat was how they tailored their stylist to what our guests were responding to. They saw what got people on the dance floor and went with it. My guests were floored by Christian’s rapping and absolutely loved it. The energy they gave off was so positive and fun and we could all feel it. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this band. Going with SpaceCat is the easiest decision you can make. Honestly just trust them, go with their recommendations and if you do, you will have one of the most memorable receptions you can ever imagine.

Space Cat brought an out-of-this-world energy to our New Year's Eve wedding at the Henry Ford Museum! Their performance kept the dance floor packed all night long, which was no small feat considering the size of the venue. From start to finish, they had everyone captivated with their infectious tunes and undeniable talent. Our wedding has been over for several months, and the first thing people say to us is not, hi, how are you? How have you been? It's verbatim, "HEY, OMG, YOUR WEDDING BAND WAS SERIOUSLY THE BEST BAND EVER. WHERE DID YOU FIND THEM? THEY WERE SO GOOD! BUT REALLY WHERE ARE THEY FROM?" And I am not even exaggerating… Talk about fantastic customer service… This made a significant impression on us because meeting all of them in person showed us that we weren't just another bride and groom the band would sign for. We are so grateful we decided to go ahead with Spacecats because we knew we were confident they would tailor our special day based on the conversations/meetings we had together. And that is precisely what it was. SpaceCats, we thank you for not giving the same performance as every other wedding and making our evening just what we wanted and more. One of our favorite things about working with SpaceCats was their consideration and receptiveness to our shared playlist. We could not be more thankful and appreciative of how smoothly everything went. On multiple occasions, Christian had asked us to gather a list of songs and share whatever we'd like with the team for the band to play. He did a tremendous job in getting the message across to us that whatever we gave him would be played during the reception before anything else the band enjoyed or suggested for a wedding reception. It was appreciated and recognizable that he/they did not push us towards any genre of music. We truly appreciated that, as we had various clientele at our wedding. We want to give you and the gang props for comprehending/knowing what to play for what type of event, but it was also so fun to dance to. Not only was the music list precisely what we had hoped for, but the way Christian executed the entire wedding was incredible. Keeping a wedding party of 32 in order and orchestrating the remainder of the reception with a group photo, speeches, dances, and bride and groom requests was remarkable. He outdid himself and knows how to run an event you don't want to end. Everything was organized and felt in place according to his timeline. He indeed went above and beyond and ensured that everything was noticed. Christian, we cannot thank you enough for all your meetings and phone calls with us. You always answered our questions. You were so incredibly thorough in every single aspect of this whole process. You are so detail-oriented, and you thought of everything. Another thing about working with you was how you did a few callbacks to ensure you pronounced each name correctly. (And you nailed all 32 of them!) Along with following up a second and third time the week before to make sure there wasn't anything else you missed. Christian and the gang put on one of the best entertainment nights we have seen, with a wedding party of 32 and a guest list of almost 400. They got the crowd involved (my husband might have a singing career with them – at least for the song SHOUT!) just with the energy they had. But the vocals on everyone in that group kept the dance floor going until the venue lights turned on. Not only did they sound better throughout the night, but their energy grew even more significant with all of us. It indeed was an evening that we will never forget. SpaceCats, you surpassed every single expectation we had by a mile. We can't thank you enough for giving us some of the greatest memories we've had and will ever have.

SpaceCat was one of the best and least stressful vendors we booked for our wedding hands down! Months later we still have guests raving about how good the music was all night! SpaceCat played piano for our ceremony, a jazz quartet for cocktail hour, and the entire band for the reception. They learned every single special song we had, even the lesser-known ones, and each was executed perfectly by the band! Every member of the band was so interactive and high energy, they had the dance floor packed all night! They even surprised me with my husband joining them on the drums for a song!! I have had so many guests tell me it was the best band (and saxophone player!) they’ve ever heard at a wedding. They were so easy to work with and communication was thorough throughout the entire process. If you want a packed dance floor and music your guests won’t stop talking about, SpaceCat is your band!

If we could give them 6 stars, we would! The band was the highlight of our reception. The dance floor was packed all night! They played all of our special songs and gave a surprise with my husband actually singing to me with the band. A month later and everyone is still raving about how amazing they were!!! The band was super easy to work with, Christian was our coordinator and was very organized. He asked a slew of questions I hadn’t thought of, and gave a bunch of great recommendations. Even our reception venue said he was proactive and reached out early. Hire them for your wedding! You won’t regret it!!!

SpaceCat was AWESOME!!! Throughout the planning process, Christian was super organized and willing to answer any questions we had. SpaceCat did live piano during the ceremony, a live quartet during cocktail hour, and of course played at the reception. The pianist did an amazing job at the ceremony and the live quartet really elevated cocktail hour. But the reception is where they really brought the heat... they were so high energy and fun! We received SO many compliments from guests about how great the band was. If you're looking for a lively dance floor and a good time, hire SpaceCat!

Booking SpaceCat was, hands down, the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. We weren’t able to see them perform before the big day, but we went with them based on a recommendation from a friend of a friend, and boy were we happy we did. Their YouTube videos, if anything, understate how incredibly talented they are. Ashley’s voice, oh my god! Such high energy, such joy. On top of being top-notch performers, they were very easy to work with. Christian was organized, professional, and reassuring. All night, our guests kept coming up to us to rave about how phenomenal the band was, and the texts we are getting in the days afterward confirm that the band was a highlight for everyone involved. Its hard to put our feelings into words to accurately review this group without sounding like a mega fan. My wife and I have seen this band 4 times before our wedding. Each show has been an amazing experience. No matter the size of the crowd, this group knows how to get everyone up on their feet! They can handle a large variety of music that keeps everyone moving. We cannot recommend this band enough!! They help with timeline management and all of the goals needed to be met for the pre-wedding process. Christian and his team have a great sound and are the band for any special occasion!

The best band ever! We even went to see them at local events afterwards. A friend of ours dropped their band they had and booked them after our wedding. they learned our wedding songs, gave advice and played great songs for our crowd! Christian and his team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. During the planning phase his communication was amazing. Always helping us with the next steps, things we needed to complete and our timeline for our special day. He would communicate with the venue and other vendors to provide the best customer service possible. I felt confident that SpaceCat would keep the reception running smoothly and that we could all enjoy ourselves - which we did! Our big day was absolutely perfect! Working with SpaceCat was one of the best decisions that I made when planning our wedding day. These guys are AMAZING, from start to finish they just blew us all away over and over again. From the planning stage Christian was thoughtful, organized, and it was clear there was so much experience he brought to the table. I felt very confident going into my wedding that it would flow beautifully. They went above and beyond, learning multiple songs for our special day and managing the audio for a quite complicated ceremony without a single hitch. They were SO FUN and brought so much positive energy and excitement to our day. I can't tell you how many of our guests said that our band was one of the best they had ever experienced and it set the tone for our night. Their communication and follow through was just impeccable, there really were a lot of details to keep track of and these guys didn't miss a beat. I love live bands at weddings, and my husband and I were lucky enough to snag SpaceCat for ours! Communication was so easy with this group, especially with Christian! They were friendly, easy-going, and most of all entertaining! We got a ton of compliments from guests at our wedding about SpaceCat and I kid you not I was on the dance floor the ENTIRE night! They were truly amazing! We are still getting texts from friends about how much fun they had dancing at our wedding. My husband and I were about a day away from signing a dj for our wedding when we stumbled upon an AMAZING band while out to grab a drink. We loved them so much we put an inquiry in online right then and there and, despite our initial plans of going home after one drink, ended up staying through their entire set. Their ability to nail songs from ANY genre/era and the energy they bring is truly unmatched. Where do we start about our experience with the SpaceCat Band ??? To begin, it was the most professional, enjoyable and best experience of the entire wedding weekend. Remember you can't pick your family and you can't pick your neighbors but you can pick your band. The entire band was top notch and provided a family type atmosphere for us and all our guests. Sound System--Top notch sound, lights, recorded music everything worked without any hiccups. Prep--The attention to detail I must admit I thought was overkill but once the day came the realization hit me that SpaceCat has played "wedding before"! The emails/calls (not really that many) all confirmed a streamlined occasion with no stress for all. Ceremony—Best part of the evening Christian and the band made everything as seamless and enjoyable -- more than anyone could have imagined. We will be utilizing them for all of our future functions and highly recommend them to anyone planning a gathering requiring a totally professional music experience.

Christian Darga and the rest of the SpaceCat band members are AMAZING. Fantastic set list range. We originally heard them play at a friend's wedding 3 years ago and they ROCKED. Everyone was on their dance floor. We knew that we had to book SpaceCat at our eventual wedding. We booked SpaceCat before we even booked our venue! Christian will help you out with a fantastic planning form to take your reception or private event to the next level. Super responsive via email and text. TRUST in their ability to put on a great performance. Share your Spotify playlists for your dinner, cocktail hour, and favorites and they'll take care of the rest. They WILL get people out of their seats and on the dance floor. I thought the older Asian in-laws were going to stay in their seats, the older crowd were on the floor more than the younger crowd! They are THAT good. The more leeway and freedom you give them with your music preferences, the better performance you will get! After my boss heard them play at the reception and another time beforehand at Rochester Mills (pro tip: go to their website and find when they are going to play at a bar for a sneak peek!), she booked them for our Christmas Party for next year! Can't wait to hear SpaceCat again!

We fell in love with this band at a friend's wedding last summer. When we got engaged and started planning our wedding we knew we wanted this band for our special day! We truly can't say enough about what a seamless and awesome experience we had with SpaceCat as our band for our wedding. They truly go above and beyond to make sure that everything is organized and communicated ahead of time (as well as throughout) and even lend their expertise in other ways (i.e. they got everyone to take a giant group photo on the dance floor mid-party - and now we get to have that candid moment in time encapsulated for the rest of our lives). I had stumbled upon SpaceCat online while looking for memorable entertainment and after viewing their YouTube videos (check out their medleys!), we knew they were extremely talented and reached out to them immediately. They were so responsive and we were so thrilled to have them on our side for our wedding - they're extremely professional and know how to not only get the party started, but keep it going. Highlights: - Learned our first dance song as well as two others for Mother/Son and Sister/Brother - Professional, timely and nothing short of the best wedding entertainment I have seen - Got everyone dancing with great song mash-ups and getting the crowd involved The moment my wife and I saw Spacecat at a beer festival, we thought we wanted to hire them for an event eventually. Luckily we had the pleasure of hiring them for our wedding reception and they were nothing less than professional and the perfect wedding band for our day. From the initial meetings with Christian to the last meeting the week of the event, we were more than convinced that this was the right band for us. They were also professional and helped to guide us through the process of selecting entrance music to make sure they got the correct pronunciation of our entire wedding party and family. You can definitely tell they play weddings for a living as they dressed the part for the event which was something I did not even think of until the day of but SpaceCat already knew. Not only did SpaceCat learn our song for our first dance but also learned two other songs for Mother/Son and Brother/Sister dances and anyone who is familiar with live music will understand that these versions were more special and different than any DJ could have played. SpaceCat made sure that not only was everyone on their feet while they were playing, but also were engaged in the music and in return the band fed off the energy from the crowd which turned into the best music experience I have had at a wedding. Christian also made sure that once we got to the reception all of the timing was with him and he could control the night. Once I sat down at my reception, I really felt like our jobs for the day had finished and I could sit back and relax or get up and dance to the music. Even our photographer was saying how much she enjoyed the band keeping to the time schedule we had gotten while planning the event. Everyone who attended my wedding has asked about the band and I can only hope that SpaceCat continues to have success so I can see them more at events like beer festivals and friends' weddings.

6 out of 5 stars if possible. Spacecat was amazing they learned my husband and I's first dance song and they kept the party going! They were timely from the cake cutting to the last song! Easy to communicate with Christian to make sure our night went smoothly! So many of our guests were saying it was the best wedding ever because of our band! There was a great mix of classics to present day music. Everyone in the band is incredibly talented but we definitely loved the saxophone!

We had the great fortune of having Space Cat perform at our recent wedding. We cannot express enough how fantastic of a job the band did from start to finish along the wedding process. Christian was extraordinarily helpful and friendly in his communication leading up to the day of the event, working diligently to address our wants/needs and providing fantastic insight into the many details (venue specifics, timing of the speeches, etc.) that go into a wedding reception (we would have been lost without his guidance!) all while maintaining absolute professionalism. I do not even know where to start— everything about Space Cat was amazing! Our wedding reception was the most fun I’ve ever had thanks to their performance. Our guests are still raving months later about how great the band was and how much fun they had dancing. I knew from the beginning of our planning process that a live band was one of my planning priorities, and I stumbled upon Space Cat on The Knot. From the moment I first talked with Christian, I knew Space Cat would be a great fit for the party I was envisioning, and the band exceeded all our expectations. Their range is absolutely amazing, they were so interactive with our guests, and each song was better than the last. We truly cannot recommend them enough!

Unbelievable performers, tied the whole wedding experience together. Also helped pull of an epic DIY singing experience for the bride and groom. Can't recommend more highly.

SpaceCat was INCREDIBLE and wildly exceeded our already high expectations. Christian was remarkably easy to work with, responsive to our requests, and accommodating of some special needs we had (working with another band that did certain religious elements of our reception). The band also fielded requests (unbeknownst to us) from one of our fathers and a member of our bridal party. They even learned a few new songs for our reception. Most importantly, the band just had such great energy and fantastic musical ability. They got the crowd revved up but did so in a non-cheesy way, which sometimes happens with wedding bands. One of our guests said, "I feel like I'm at a concert - not a wedding." Another guest (who teaches music!) said the band was exceptionally skilled. Everything was just amazing - we couldn't have asked for any more. Don't even think about it - just go and hire SpaceCat before someone else books them.

Before my husband and I were engaged, we had seen SpaceCat multiple times. When we started wedding planning, they were the first vendor we booked because we had to have them! From the very beginning, Christian (the band leader) was extremely helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. The planning process went so smoothly which translated to a seamless wedding day! Our ceremony music was timed perfectly and Christian was a great MC during the reception for all of the announcements and first dances. The band ROCKED! All of our guest were just blown away by how talented and versatile they were. Needless to say, the majority of our guests danced the night away which is what we wanted. They even coordinated with our photographers to get a group photo of the band and all of our guests, it's one of my favorite pictures of the night. Such great memories and we are so happy we had SpaceCat at our wedding!

If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. From the beginning, the planning process was so organized, they came prepared with input sheets that helped us plan out the entire night, and had a set cadence for reviewing and validating the info leading up to the wedding date. SpaceCat made our wedding beyond memorable. Multiple guests commented on how fantastic the band was. They kept the energy high the entire time...we didn't want the night to end. 10/10 would recommend SpaceCat!!!

SpaceCat did an excellent job. Everyone had so much fun dancing at our wedding and it was all because of them! We would 100% recommend them. The only reason we did not give them 5 stars is because we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and when we were looking at dates, SpaceCat was going to charge us an extra $1000 to move our wedding one year. Their reasoning was because they lost money due to COVID. The only reason they did not end up charging us this extra fee is because we moved our wedding from a Saturday to a Friday. We felt the idea of an upcharge was unfair because we were all impacted financially due to the pandemic and being forced to postpone our wedding was both upsetting and completely out of our control.

My husband and I saw quite a few SpaceCat shows while we were dating and we always said we’d have them perform at our future wedding one day. We booked SpaceCat for our wedding in September and it was the best decision we made! From the very start of the planning process, Christian who is the band leader, was so easy work with due to his organization, willingness to answer any questions and he made the planning process so easy for us. The entire band was SO kind, fun and full of energy and made our wedding such a blast. We received so many compliments from guests on how much fun they had at our wedding because of SpaceCat! We had the band play track music at our ceremony and cocktail hour, MC our entire reception and then play live music for the dancing portion of the night. They exceeded our exceptions - I highly recommend booking them and checking out their shows!

I really wish I could give SpaceCat more stars because they were absolutely amazing! They had everyone on the dance floor all night! They even got my husband to join in on a song! They know how to read the crowd and give the people what they want! So many people told us it was the best wedding they’ve been to, and they had a hard time leaving the dance floor for a drink or to socialize because song after song was a hit! If you have any concerns about the original song sounding too different as the band plays it, don’t be. Steve’s vocals on “what a wonderful world” made you think Louis Armstrong was performing, so talented! Ashley absolutely killed it as well! Our guests loved the energy all night! Christian (band manager) was so easy to work with and made planning seamless. I will recommend them to anyone looking to hire a band, they made our wedding so much more iconic than we could have imagined.

WOW!!!!! 10000/10 you NEED SpaceCat at your wedding. They are so hype and so fun!!!!!! Not only do they sound great, they know how to get everyone on the dance floor and keep them there - not to mention, Christian is a wonderful Emcee! Not a joke when I say I want to plan another party, just so I can have SpaceCat there again!!!

My wife and I don't even know where to begin on our experience with SpaceCat. I would 100% recommend this incredible band to who ever is looking for a tremendously talented, high-energy, fantastic group to help celebrate their big day. SpaceCat went above and beyond each step of the way to ensure our day was perfect and they played the main role in making it so great. From the moment they began performing, you couldn't keep our guests off the dance floor. When they finished they even did an encore because the crowd did not want them to wrap up. I had probably 20 people approach me after the event asking the name of their band. Again, I would refer them to anyone I know and everyone I don't. If you have a high energy attendee list who love to dance, look no further for the perfect band. We had SpaceCat as our band for our wedding reception on Devils Lake, MI and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. They were great planning partners, fantastic MCs, and - most importantly - they knocked it out of the park with their music. They nailed our first dance song and kept the evening humming with hours of jams for all of us to dance the night away to. If your mission is to dance, this is your band.

SpaceCat was absolutely INCREDIBLE! My husband and I knew we wanted a band at our wedding reception and after the first time seeing SpaceCat perform live, we knew they were the band for us! Christian made the planning process so easy for us, even with a postponed date. He truly listened to our vision for our reception and made it come to life.
