My husband and I were incredibly happy with Spacecraft entertainment from the time that we started planning to our wedding day! Jeff was so openminded, so thrilled to hear our ideas, and gave us a lot of opportunity to speak our minds for what we wanted to hear for his allotted time. We were both so happy on our wedding day because all of our guests were dancing, including many of my husband's older family members. The playlist was like hearing all of my favorite songs one after another. The planning and thoughts put forward to making the right playlist were intensive, but important, and the time spent with Jeff ahead of time made the wedding day perfect. We had Jeff and Marissa DJ our wedding and everything was more than perfect. The ceremony music flowed so smoothly between songs and they kept the party going afterwards. They were so great about playing all the songs my guests requested. I would totally recommend them to anyone getting married or having a big event in the future!

I booked space craft entertainment for my wedding in November and they were great! We had Jeff the owner do our wedding and Jeff was the best DJ we could have asked for! He played great songs all night and really helped to keep the party going till the very end! We had both karaoke and regular dancing at the wedding and Jeff made sure that everything flowed smoothly and that guests were having a great time! He even found some really obscure songs that we requested! We really loved his energy and so did our guests! A good number of people commented on how much they liked the DJ! His energy level is perfect not too much of a hype man (he isn’t going to be yelling at people to turn it up on the dance floor) but he isn’t flat either! He’s just chill but still keeps the party going all night! My even my wedding planner loved him! She had worked with him before for another wedding and she was really excited to hear we were going with him for the wedding! She said that he was a great DJ and he was great to work with!

About four weeks before our wedding, we found out our original DJ wasn’t going to be able to make it to our wedding reception. We reached out to Jeff at Spacecraft, a preferred vendor with our reception venue, and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Jeff was very easy to work with and he made us feel at ease throughout the booking process. He even came up with a creative solution to our request for a “moonlight effect” on the dance floor. Jeff was very professional and our dance floor was packed and poppin’ all night!

We hired Spacecraft Entertainment for our wedding in April and it was such a great choice! We booked Jeff who is the most experienced DJ at the company and again, incredible decision! The whole process was very easy and stress free. We were planning from a distance and they were super accommodating. The company is flexible and were able to help us with everything we requested! The weather was predicted to rain so Jeff brought enough equipment for a rain plan, out door plan and a combination plan. He set the mood beautifully for every part of our wedding day. We also were able to get the ceremony and speeches recorded which was a very special add on. The ceremony was perfect! He timed songs well, starting music when we asked him to. For example right when we kissed music started and got the celebration going for the rest of the day. Our guests commented that they couldn't take a break from dancing to go to the bathroom because there was never a bad song! We requested some funky songs to dance to and at one point my husband and i and all of our guests were interpretive dancing to bohemian rhapsody and somehow he transitioned from that back to a normal dance floor. SO FUN! He was just phenomenal and I would recommend this company to anyone planning an event or wedding!

Spacecraft entertainment is perfect for the couple who is looking for a highly professional DJ who will listen and understand what they are looking for in reception entertainment, but doesn't want to spend hours creating a "songs to play" and "do not play list" ( although, I'm sure DJ Jeff and his team would work well for those individuals as well). He quickly "got" what we wanted through his extremely easy and organized planning process- and executed it perfectly. I highly recommend Spacecraft entertainment!

Jeff was great! Very professional - brought our dream to life. He was very prepared - sent out a quick questionnaire to gather info about our music preferences and then we had a quick phone call the week of to mail everything down. What I remember is how tired I (the bride) was the next morning from dancing all. Night. Long. Seriously! I never left the dance floor. At one point, he played Uptown Funk - popular song, great for wedding, but not really my cup of tea. So I thought - great, perfect opportunity for a breather. Wrong! I wasn’t seated but for 10 seconds when Jeff noticed and immediately went to a new selection for me :-) my friends and family have all said the exact same thing. It was a great night!

We really enjoyed working with Jeff on curating a DJ playlist and lighting ambience that would make our guests have fun on our wedding night. Jeff did a great job of getting the party going and we are still getting compliments on what an amazing night it was on the dance floor!

DJ Taylor is AMAZING!!!!! He honored our request list, and had perfect add ins for the remaining music. I felt like he read our guests well, and picked appropriate music for the crowd. He was a lot of fun!

We hired DJ Jeff for our wedding and can't express in words how great he did! DJ Jeff took the time to speak with us even before we decided to hire him and went through what our music tastes were, how we wanted the theme to be, etc. There were a many specific songs we wanted for the reception and DJ Jeff came through! He put together the most banging round of 80s music to kick off our dance party at the bride’s request! DJ Jeff was absolutely on point when he showed up, first having the exact songs in place for each part of the ceremony, allowing us time to perform a final rehearsal for the first dance, and ensuring that he had everything correct prior to the wedding day. My wife and I were extremely happy with DJ Jeff's professional attitude, due diligence, and overall performance! He also did some amazing work with our venue lighting, adding uplights to accent the draping we had in our ballroom reception and pin spot lights for our bride and groom cakes! I absolutely recommend DJ Jeff with Spacecraft Entertainment for your wedding!

Jeff did an incredible job. My husband and I were beyond satisfied. The music selection was exactly what we had in mind. It was clear that Jeff listened to and considered the type of music that we requested, as well as really read the crowd. The dance floor was full all night, thanks to Jeff’s talent. Throughout the night, several guests commented ‘how great the DJ was.’ Jeff also made sure to execute all of our ‘special’ requests.

Asking Jeff to be our DJ was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. A few specific reasons why: 1) My then-fiance and I wanted to find a DJ who matched our energy: someone who wasn't a super in-your-face hype-man kind of DJ and who carried himself as a musical professional. And we knew immediately that Jeff was the kind of DJ we were looking for. He's an incredibly knowledgable and experienced musician, and in our first conversation, we knew that we could trust him to not only play music that would resonate with our crowd, but to guide the evening through from beginning to end with nary a snag. 2) I mentioned Jeff was a professional: there was absolutely nothing that went wrong on our wedding day. Literally nothing. All of the mics worked fantastically, all of the sound worked flawlessly, all of the music was appropriately cued and played, and we even played a video during the reception that he had set up with a projector and screen and speakers. He just totally nailed it. 3) We got *so many compliments* after the wedding about how the music was the perfect mix of old classics and newer hits. My now-husband and I are in our 30s, so we wanted a heavy 80s/90s musical presence, and Jeff delivered in spades. He was excellent at reading the crowd and moving from crowd-pleaser to crowd-pleaser. Weddings can be really stressful days, as many of y'all know, so the best thing about Jeff is that we didn't have to worry about a single thing from the moment we asked him to be our DJ: we *knew* that he would manage everything flawlessly. And he did. Just total perfection from beginning to end. Hire Jeff - you won't regret it!

DJ Jeff was great! He knew exactly how to choose music that kept us and our guests on the dance floor all night. I truly enjoyed our wedding reception and I believe the DJ played a big role in that. DJ Jeff was easy to work with and he coordinated anouncements and introductions with our master of ceremonies which was really important to us. We went with the base package, but thats truly all we needed. The forms we filled out to help him plan our music were simple and straight forward. Would definitely reccomend as he's truly a standout in the industry.

Jeff was an AWESOME DJ for our wedding. I picked him because he was the DJ for my sisters wedding and he has this amazing ability to read the crowd really well. He was easy to communicate with and allowed us to play certain songs twice, because we wanted that :) and overall made our night perfect and exactly what we wanted. He always picked the best songs to play at the perfect time.

Jeff was the absolute best. Super professional and organized, he made the planning portion of his part in our wedding fun and easy. Quick to respond to all of our questions, but most importantly he had our wedding dancing the entire time. He will really make your reception an amazing party. My husband surprised me with a song he had written, and Jeff helped make that happen behind the scenes. He helped set up a guitar line and mic for him secretly, and it sounded great! He also handled our ceremony and MC'd the dinner, which went off without a hitch. The lighting he set up looked great, and he also set up a projector to play a photo slideshow which worked perfectly. I would 100% hire Jeff if we were to have our wedding again!

We had our wedding on 10/20/2017 at Camp Lucy - Jeff did an amazing job and we highly recommend!! He kept people dancing all night and was also a great emcee that managed the flow of the wedding seamlessly. :)

DJ Jeff was the DJ for our wedding on 7/15/17. From the minute after meeting him, my wife and I knew he was the man for the job. Extremely professional from start to finish! His attention to detail and desire to meet the needs of his clients is what we found invaluable. Our day ran as smooth as it could have, and he was an integral part in assuring that. He listened to any and every request we had, and even made sure to call us for correct pronunciations of some difficult last names. Our dance floor was full almost all night long, and if the dance floor was feeling a certain genre, he just rolled with it. Can't imagine our night going any better than it did! Best day ever.

I highly recommend Jeff at Spacecraft Entertainment. He not only DJ'd our reception but he played the music during the wedding. Everything was perfect! Then during the reception he kept the energy on the dance floor up. Everyone had a great time dancing. He also announced the bridal party perfectly. Jeff at Spacecraft Entertainment was great - he took my daughter's line-up, added mine (mother-of-the-bride) and did everything the way we wanted. When the music got a little too young for us older folks, he immediately changed over to 60's and no one ever knew! He was there when you needed him and but didn't intrude. Spacecraft Entertainment provided us with an amazing experience! Even though we contacted him on a short notice, Jeff quickly responded and met with us right away. Jeff is very professional and attentive to detail. During the wedding, Jeff did an amazing job reading the crowd. We literally danced for 5 hours straight and the dance floor was never empty. We are so happy we went with Jeff as our wedding DJ. He was able to take our diverse musical demands and turn our wedding into the party we wanted. We spent a lot of time looking for DJs, mostly because we wanted someone who would live mix (as opposed to just Spotify or simply cross fade) and know the music well enough to play to the crowd. Diverse musical tastes were also an added challenge. On one hand my wife and I wanted pop, hip-hop, and indie hits from the 90's through today. Everything from Michael Jackson to The National. My family is Latin so we wanted a good bit of salsa and merengue as well. Jeff's preparation and attention to detail made us feel comfortable with our choice, even before the big day. Every time we met he took notes and asked questions that needed answers, but that we didn't know to ask. Even something as simple as "when do you want me to fade the music out for the father daughter dance?" changed things for the better. So often those dances go on about 2 minutes too long. He had extra equipment for a selfie station, and he provided the lapel mic for the ceremony. He used my lapel mic to pick up my wife's vows and everyone in the audience could hear her clearly without having to affix a mic to her dress. He researched music ahead of time and made sure that if we requested a specific song he had the version we wanted. He uses a system many DJs use to get a rough playlist, so come prepared to spend some time adding songs to a must play, good to play, and do not play lists. The site isn't all that user friendly, but it is functional. Wedding day went flawlessly. Everyone was able to hear both our vows, which is not always a given at weddings. The dinner music was excellent and precisely the vibe we wanted. And once the dance party it was non-stop. He transitioned so well from pop to hip-hop to latin. My family, a group of people that is really picky about music, really loved his Latin selections. It was a non-stop dance party! Compared to other DJs we looked in to, Jeff is on the more expensive side. But I firmly believe we got what we paid for. And that was one phenomenal wedding DJ that helped make our special day a success. We are so happy with our decision to go with Jeff.

We had some friends tell us that the DJ sets the vibe of the wedding, so be sure to find a good one, so we looked until we found DJ Jeff. Our dance floor was packed from the moment it opened until it was time for the grand exit and we had to make people leave. There was never a lull and all of the songs got people moving. DJ Jeff is really great at reading the room and keeping the energy where you want it. He also kept everything moving in regards to the wedding schedule. In our meeting with Jeff before the wedding, he planned the order of events with us, and then he kept it all going throughout the night. He is professional and friendly, and really knows his stuff. I highly recommend working with Spacecraft Entertainment!

Excellent DJ! We worked with DJ Ryan for our wedding, and he was awesome - professional, thoughtful, responsive, and very in tune with the kind of music we wanted. He did a perfect job of understanding the feeling and mood we wanted for different parts of the night without us having to specifically pick every song - which definitely made the wedding planning run smoothly and the music was perfect from the ceremony to dinner to the reception dance floor. Spacecraft Entertainment was exactly what we needed and they made our roles as bride & groom so much easier. We only had to meet with Jeff twice and exchange a few emails and the music at our reception was stellar. He gave us the opportunity to speak about our personal preferences in music and let us be as involved in building the playlist as we wanted. Jeff was extremely thorough with our personal dances and made sure he had the exact version of the songs we chose (including one from a very local artist that was not easily available for download). He went above and beyond when he helped me and my dad adjust the tempo on our song for the father/daughter dance since it was a smidge too fast. On the day of our event, he showed up early, was extremely polite and flexible. I dropped by the DJ booth only once to let him know that it was time to play our special family song and he slid it in seamlessly within 5 minutes of my request. As an MC, he didn't overuse the microphone or work too hard to "hype" the crowd, but he made sure everyone knew what was going on (when shuttles were leaving, who was next for the toasts, etc). He was extremely adept about measuring the interest of the crowd and managed to keep guests on the dancefloor all night. He played some easy-listening/coupley dance songs early for the older generation to dance to before they made their exit. When guests started to leave, I was certain the party would crash and burn early. I shouldn't have been worried at all! Jeff cranked up the tempo and aimed the playlist at the younger generation and the party got a second wind. Late in the evening, Jeff circled back, reminded me the reception was drawing to a close and asked if there were any songs I hadn't yet heard. It's clear that Spacecraft takes their job very seriously and they were extremely professional. Their staff and all their online tools were easy to work with and Jeff thought of things that we hadn't even considered. I would recommend their services to anyone who asked and as a budget conscious bride, I will say this - they were WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Jeff DJ'ed our 07/25/15 wedding at the Brodie Homestead. He was wonderfully professional, polite, and very careful at ensuring he knew how to announce our entrance and pronounce the names of everyone in our wedding party. He did a great job of following our requests, as well as reading the room, and when he finally had to announce the last song, everyone let out a disappointed "Awww!" which goes to show they were having a great time.

My husband and I hired Jeff from Spacecraft Entertainment to DJ our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We hired Jeff to DJ at our daughter's wedding. We were very pleased. He is mature, professional, and thoughtful. He emailed back quickly with answers to questions and helped us figure out how we wanted the set up to be. His table and equipment looked classy with the black tablecloth. During the wedding reception Jeff was able to get many people up on the dance floor and keep them there. The flashing colored dance floor lights were a lot of fun! Jeff came over to ask us if there were any special songs we wanted him to play and made sure that we were enjoying the music throughout the night. He played all the correct music for the specialty dances without a hitch. I would recommend Jeff for any event. He is young and fun, but still able to communicate well and is very respectful. He made the wedding reception a time to remember!

I had the honor of being the guest at the wedding of two great friends. Jeff was their Dj. The music was perfectly planned from pre-ceremony to the couples first dance. Once the party got started there wasn't a single person sitting down. Jeff played a great variety of music. If you're looking for a Dj for your event look no further, Dj Jeff is the best! You won't be disappointed!

I was fortunate enough to be a guest at the Moskowitz/Denton wedding, and probably had the best dance party experience ever, the DJ, Jeff I believe, not only played the best tracks, but knew how to read the crowd and keep the energy going. And being the the audio business myself, I noticed he had great transitions between songs, blending beats, etc, which is key!

It was really fun! The music was really great and I loved that my song requests were all played. The announcements were very clear as well.

We couldn't decide if we wanted a live band or a DJ and ultimately decided that a DJ would give us the most diverse music selection. DJ Jeff worked another friend's wedding that we had attended so we knew that he could keep the crowd into the party. He kept both of us on schedule for toasts, bouquet toss, and cake cutting - helpfully pulling us away when the time came. He played the songs that we requested and at the end of the night came to ask us if there was a song that we wanted to hear before the night was over. He was very professional and my dad very much enjoyed coordinating his speech with DJ Jeff which involved music cues. All of our friends told us that it was the most fun that they had ever had at a wedding and we agree! The day went by so fast for us but we are so happy we hired DJ Jeff to keep us dancing the whole night!

Jeff was easy to work with, professional, and reliable. His ability to read the crowd and mix in appropriate music to keep people in the moment, having the time of their lives was spot-on. There's no question Jeff was a big positive contributor to this amazing night.

Jeff was our DJ for our wedding and it was so amazing! He was recommended to me by a friend and I booked him immediately once I heard how great he was. He did not disappoint. He was very involved from the begging and seemed to genuinely care about getting everything right...and he didn't miss a beat. He even made time to come to a "walk through" at our venue a few weeks before our wedding to make sure everything would go smoothly the day of. He was well worth it!!! We used Jeff for our wedding and he was great. Our whole wedding was outside and you can hear the music throughout the whole venue but it wasn't overpowering where you could still have a conversation. During the cocktail hour and dinner he played the perfect selections for music and when it was time for people to get up and dance, he kept them up there and had the perfect mix that had everyone dancing from the grandparents all the way to the flower girl. Everyone that has called us and told us how great the wedding was has always mentioned Jeff. I could have not been happier with the way he DJed.

Hi! Our wedding was April 17th 2015. We did NOT want your typical la-ti-da wedding. We wanted a party. And boy, did we have one! Music is extremely important to my husband and I. And I firmly believe music makes or breaks a wedding. No one remembers what they ate, or your decos or even what the favors were, years down the road. They will, however, remember whether or not they had a good time on your dancefloor! I found spacecraft via yelp. They were over budget (at least for us), but worth every single penny!! They have other dj's to choose from, but like I said. I wanted the best. We hired DJ Jeff for 4 hours, but I'm pretty sure he was there for at least 6, because everyone was having such an incredible time people were basically throwing money at him to stay longer! He was incredible! He played evey single thing we wanted and then some! Every time someone brings up the wedding they talk about how phenomenal the music was, how much fun they had dancing for hours, and the incredible playlist. In fact, I'm pretty certain every single one of our guests, mentioned at one point or another, that we had the best wedding DJ/music they had ever experienced. Seriously. Top Notch!!! They even have this awesome online music planning tool that my husband and I spent hours on, meticulously picking songs we knew out guests would enjoy. DJ Jeff whipped that list up together like magic! Don't even think about it. If you want the very best, HIRE SPACECRAFT ENTERTAINMENT!

Spacecraft Entertainment provided great entertainment during the reception. The DJ met with us several times to ensure he were on the same page. They have an online planning portal which makes planning the reception music easy and efficient.

I can’t say enough good things about Jeff with Spacecraft Entertainment. He is professional, fun, and detail oriented and the bottom line is that the dance floor was full the entire night. We interviewed several DJs and chose Jeff because he was very easy to get along with and seemed to truly enjoy his profession. I was impressed with his communication and professionalism throughout the entire process. We did a walk-through of the venue with Jeff a few weeks before the wedding. We discussed everything from extra speakers, what to do in case of rain and the type of music we were wanting. I felt a lot better knowing he had seen the space and was up for flexibility in case of weather. A week before the wedding we did a phone interview and walked through the entire ceremony and reception so that he would not skip a beat. And he NEVER skipped a beat. All of our special requests were fulfilled. He read the crowd during the dances and had a wonderful mix of slow songs and dance party songs. I can’t say it enough how easy Jeff was to work with. If we ever have a future event where we need a DJ I will contact him again.

I highly recommend using Jeff Hudson with Spacecraft Entertainment. We used him for our wedding on Sept. 20th, 2014. He is very responsive and professional with email or phone. He also has a very organized website for song requests and everything you can think of for the schedule of the wedding and reception. It actually made me think of things that I forgot about with the schedule of weddings. He also made a point to ask me before the reception if an Irish step dance performance could be moved after my mother in law tried to change the schedule from what I'd given him. It wasn't a big deal to move the dance as she liked, but the fact that he made a point to check with me made me feel that Jeff was really on top of it. He was great at announcing things like when dinner was going to start, toast and cake cutting, 1st dances, etc during the reception. He played all the songs we requested, and all the songs he chose were great as well. He was able to adapt to the type of music we liked and what the crowd was dancing to. We had a great dance party. We've received so many compliments on how fun our wedding and the dance party was, and Jeff was a major contribution to our wedding. Many people have specifically told us we had a great DJ as well. We also used his lighting services which set the mood for the dance floor.

Jeff had us fill out extensive questionnaires due a few weeks before the wedding that let us explain the ins and outs of our ceremony and reception, entrances, song preferences, etc., and he was able to cater to all our requests, including looping our processional music on the fly to coincide with the exact end of the processional. We also had a detailed phone meeting one week prior to the wedding, where Jeff made sure to go through all of our details and make sure that he understood exactly what we wanted. He made me feel confident that he would do an excellent job on the wedding day, and it all went swimmingly! Jeff adjusted easily when we had to move our ceremony inside at the last minute, and all of our other plans went off without a hitch. His music selections throughout the evening were matched perfectly to our requests, and all of our guests had a wonderful time, including during our group polka, a family tradition! Right before our exit, when my new husband and I were the last ones remaining in the hall at the end of the night, Jeff also unexpectedly played us one of our fun joke-y ceremony songs, which was a nice little moment. My guests LOVED our DJ, and the dance floor was full all night. The music was awesome, and it was entirely due to Jeff's talent, knowledge of music, and his willingness to be open to requests (which you provide in advance via an online planning tool). He reads your guests and plays more of what they like, always remaining within the confines of your instructions. Jeff is a great communicator, very organized, and overall very easy and comfortable to work with. If you like what he says on his website, that is exactly what you will get at your event, only it will be even cooler than he describes. Jeff remembered every detail and kept the night flowing smoothly. He worked really well with the venue and my photographer, and he looks genuinely happy in all my wedding photos, like he's having a great time himself. Jeff was highly recommended by my coordinator and we completely agree! He was very easy to work with from the start. He responded immediately and got us set up on his website so we could start setting up the schedule and requesting our music. Leading up to the wedding, he got in touch with us to make sure he had all of the details correct. We were having good friends sing/play the piano for our first dance, and he got in touch with them to make sure he had everything they needed as far as equipment, mics, etc. He was also great with all of our last minute asks as far as songs to play for the different dances (mother/son song) and accommodating how we wanted to do them as far as timing. On the day of the wedding, he kept us on schedule and was great at making announcements and even checked with me when he thought I might not like a song request ('What does the fox say?' - flower girl requesting it :) ). I was good with it but was grateful that he was thoughtful enough to ask. The night went beautifully and he was instrumental in that. We highly recommend him!

We worked with Jeff not only as our DJ but also to handle sound for an outdoor wedding. The ceremony required lapel mics and included a trio of musicians. Jeff was exactly what we wanted. Very professional, answered all emails timely and provided plenty of options and alternatives when applicable. It was very relaxing to know you were working with someone so capable of handling their business. On Wedding Day Jeff was more than on-time and all sound-related items came off without a hitch. We had asked for a subdued (very little talking and rah-rah) DJ and he delivered, sticking to the program. We found Jeff very easy to work with and also very attentive. He even came by and asked if there was anything else he could be doing to make the wedding a success. Unbelievable. Jeff was/is an amazing DJ. When my wife and I started planning for our wedding in Austin we knew we wanted the music to be top notch and have people going all night. Jeff did not disappoint. I was nervous about hiring a DJ for my wedding because I’ve heard (and seen) so many BAD DJs. Jeff is awesome! We met up one time and I knew he would do a great job. He listens to everything you want and delivers! Jeff set up everything so quickly and did an amazing job of working with my planner.
