Spagnolo Photography is a Boston, MA-based husband and wife team that photographs weddings, elopements, and engagements in their own low pressure, candid, and documentary style. For over 13 years, they have covered weddings in castles, mansions, museums, aquariums, cruise ships, backyards, barnyards, and campsites. For them, it is a privilege (and a whole lot of fun) to document love stories. Founders Aaron and Nanore Spagnolo have worked together for more than a decade as wedding photographers. For 16 years Aaron worked in photojournalism and commercial photography, and became an approved photographer by the U.S. Secret Service. He has worked for major companies like Harvard, MIT, Pfizer, and The Huffington Post. He began covering weddings exclusively after being asked to shoot a celebrity wedding over a decade ago, and fell in love with the niche. With a master's degree in conflict resolution, Nanore has been a photojournalist (and journalist) for various newspapers, covering stories locally and internationally. As a wedding photographer, she is committed to understanding the couple’s relationship in order to best capture it on camera. Together, they are a dynamic duo, excited to work creatively in different environments, lighting, and angles. As weddings are made unique by the people celebrating at them, Aaron and Nanore want to document everyone’s individual contribution to the overall story of the day, no matter how great or small. Their tendency towards candid photography creates a well-rounded, balanced memento of the day. Engagement photoshoots from Spagnolo Photography allow Aaron and Nanore to understand the dynamic between the couple. This then grants them insight into how best to showcase their relationship through images. Final images are available in an online gallery, for couples to peruse and print at their leisure. Their predesigned packages can be altered by à la carte options, to ensure the couple gets the coverage they want. If you feel drawn to their work, they would love to hear more about your plans.

plan, and by the time wedding day rolled around, I felt confident that the job was going to be done to both of our satisfaction. I also felt *extremely* confident in the work that I was going to get from him. His portfolio speaks for itself really. I can't say that I'm a very traditional bride, and I wanted him to capture some non-traditional shots in addition to all the traditional portraits, and to be able to stretch himself artistically. his eye is absolutely fantastic and I couldn't have imagined a better end product. He really excels at working with the conditions he is given to produce photos that are truly unique and awesome--photos that strongly represent his aesthetic, but also capture the essence of his subjects. Don't let his laidback demeanor fool you--Aaron is all business, and he delivers. I'd hire him again and again. My wedding and my engagement photos absolutely rule.

und the right couple to photograph our wedding. They were warm, friendly, accommodating and the pictures we saw were just the ones we were looking to get for our wedding. Aaron is one of the most accommodating person I have ever met. When it came time for our engagement shoot, Aaron checked in on us often and kept us up to date with weather reports and location suggestions. Unfortunately, we hit a string of bad weather where any date we picked seemed to have a thunderstorm follow it. We were worried we would never be able to get our engagement pictures taken, but Aaron was quick to ease our minds and helped us reschedule and made sure we got the perfect shots. On the day of the wedding, Aaron and Nanore were integral in the success of our wedding. Aaron controlled the entire space with ease, making sure we got the shots we wanted and made sure our guests did not get in the way of the shots. Nanore went out of her way to make sure to get all the little details and capture the candid moments throughout the day. Most importantly, they checked in on us often and made sure we were able to take a breath and grab a bite to eat. We cannot recommend Aaron and Nanore enough. Beyond the wonderful pictures we received, their bright personalities and their caring nature shined through the more time you spend with them. You will not be disappointed by choosing Aaron and Nanore for your big day.

re going to the ceremony. After our first look Aaron and Nanore spotted several great locations around the venue to get some scenic and close up portraits. During the reception guests asked about who our photographers were and loved how they stayed out of guests way, but we’re still able to grab some amazing and memorable photographs. Spagnolo Photography was even able to deliver us about 20 preview photos while we were on our honeymoon. A full digital album was delivered a few weeks later and the pictures were definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend Spagnolo Photography if your in the market for a wedding photographer or any event where u want some great pictures to remember the day by.

e noticed in their portfolios. Of course, there are some poses here and there, but nothing felt forced. Everything seemed so natural and when we saw previews of our wedding photos, they really did catch the personalities of party. Favorite part of the whole session is the photos near the cows at the Barn at Gibbet Hill. As we were going up the hill to the ceremony location, they noticed some great views and a beautiful tree to take beautiful shots. We did have to walk through the cow dungs, but Aaron and Nanore both walked ahead of us and made sure we did not step in them or get our clothes dirty both back and forth from the shot locations. I've reached out to many photographers and Aaron and Nanore provided outstanding quality and a package that no one else can compete even in terms of pricing. They were so popular, a lot of my guests asked for their information AND our family from Texas squeezed in a photo session to celebrate their 1 year old baby milestone. Aaron has an incredible eye for pictures. Even though you may think that a pose is weird, he will show you the picture and you realize it is amazing. He really understands how to take advantage of their high quality cameras, wide range of lenses, and other equipment like remote flashes. He knows how to use blur and clever angles to his advantage. His style is exactly what we were looking for - candid yet well framed, artsy, clean, bright, and full of color. By the end of the night we hoped they would stay and drink with us, but they had to drive home – so they’re responsible too! THAT is what kind of Photographers they are. So amazingly awesome that you want to be their best friends, and the phenomenal pieces of art they create are just the perk.

just sit around and laugh. We made the best decision when we hired Aaron. I ended up asking for raw images just for my own personal record, and he did it even though that it is not the norm for him. He accommodated us in every way he could and with that alone, I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Aaron! We can't wait to see our final photo's!
