I hired Spark Events for the DJ service at our wedding at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We are from Springfield, Missouri and I found them on the Knot. I am so grateful to have found Spark Events! They by far had the best price for DJ services and they did an EXCELLENT job!
I had two DJs for my ceremony and the reception - Rachel and Lily (I hope I am spelling her name right). Rachel was amazing with the ceremony. I requested she play music during the entire ceremony as a background. She said she had never done this but WOW, she did a great job. Even when the ceremony timeline got messed up due to wedding party errors- Rachel was so quick with recognizing the timeline was off but still successfully making sure I had the songs I wanted at certain points. Not only did she do this, but she perfectly matched the volume of the music to be a perfect background, but not too loud that it overtook our officiant or us while we spoke during our vows. I am so grateful to have had Rachel there for the ceremony and making my dream come true!
The reception was just as amazing! Rachel and Lily perfected the vibe I was going for during dinner, speeches, and the dance party! We had some last minute changes in schedule during the reception as well and they were so nice, kind, and accommodating to me and my husband.
Lily told me at the end of the night this was her first event being somewhat solo - and let me just say she is SO amazing. She asked me if I preferred Rob Zombie or Hannah Montana, I told her I was a Rob Zombie girl through and through. She then proceeded to play the COOLEST mash-ups for me and my guests. She had EVERYONE dancing! It was just a blast.
Rachel and Lily definitely were the highlight of the reception. They made it a party. I hope they had the best time too! Thank you from the bottom of hearts - The Goodins.
I will definitely be recommending Spark Events to all my friends for their weddings and other events. And I will definitely be using them again myself. I loved how detail oriented their questionnaires were for my ceremony and reception. They have thought of things I am sure I would have forgotten.
If you need a DJ for a wedding - Spark Events is the way to go! Best price - and awesome service. Request Rachel and/or Lily if you can !

He was very informative and very quick to answering calls, texts and emails the entire time throughout planning! of a lurch. I see this white van pull up and think, whew… the absent vendor is here. This gentleman walks up, I ask him if he is the absent vendor. Nope, he’s the DJ service. He asked what was going on, I shared with him the hiccup we were encountering. He said he would call the venue owner to see if there was anything we could do to solve the problem. He came back to me and literally took the reigns and told me how HE could and would help us. I gave him my credit card and he left on a huge errand for me. When he returned, he asked how he could help. Y’all…. This was not his business that failed us. BUT, he stepped in and made sure our kids wedding night was perfect. So Dennis… CHEERS!
Now… DJ service. All I can say is our wedding party and guests literally danced all night long (insert Lionel Richie here). From the first song, to the last song, there was a crowd on the dance floor. That’s hard to do. From all ages too.
If you don’t hire this service, you are cheating yourself.

You are correct, there is no cell service and no WiFi at your venue, which prevents us from purchasing songs that we don't currently have in our library, while receiving live requests at an event. Rest assured, we have tens of thousands of legally purchased songs in our library. Additionally, our ceremony and reception planning guides allow for advanced requests, which we'll have in our system prior to your wedding.

He did an incredible job creating a fun and welcoming environment, all while helping my husband and I keep on track during the ceremony and reception. The setup inside and outside was very professional and top notch. There were zero issues throughout the entire process of planning and during the wedding day. ure what we wanted out of the service. Seth and my photographer got along very well and used each others ideas to capture good moments. They were super fun and involved in the whole day. Josh was able to reschedule the wedding and reception to work out. Due to rain our event had to change pretty dramatically, but he made it work even though it wasn't what we had originally planned. I'm super happy with both services and glad I chose Spark! I am excited to see the video!
