I hired SparklebyElena to do the hair and make up for my wedding day, for myself, my mother, MIL, and SIL. We are happy with the hair and mostly with the makeup, but as I’m receiving my wedding photos, I’m noticing that my eyebrows were very uneven. This was particularly upsetting for me because I specifically chose this vendor because of the “insta-brows” that are shown on their page. I did show a picture of this and ask for this service. I did not notice this the day of - as you can imagine, the morning of your wedding is an incredibly stressful and nerve-wracking time. I was only occasionally glancing in a small mirror, and did not notice how they had been done. Despite this, it was a pleasant morning. Aida was very nice, she gave my mom a hairpiece to use when she didn’t have one for the hairstyle, and did an excellent job on the updos. I give some grace in that my facial structure is not very symmetrical. But the color, shape, and length of the eyebrows are noticeably different. I am disappointed that this is how I will look in all my wedding photos, something that can never be redone. I want to note that I declined a trial due to the $300 price, but if I had done the trial, I would have either critiqued it then or gone with a different makeup artist. Just something to consider as you chose a package.
