My husband and I worked with Tom on our wedding music. We had been to several receptions DJed by him and knew that he would make the party exactly what we wanted. We wanted a big variety in our music - oldies, EDM, country, Arabic, modern pop, and atom pulled this off perfectly without the music sounding all over the place. Everything connected perfectly and the energy never died down! He was a great MC, getting guests on the floor throughout the night and he continuously checked on my husband and I to make sure things were going well and to update us on the schedule etc. He encouraged us to not think about our timeline and worry about getting to everything but told us that was his job. There was not one song played that I wanted to leave the dance floor during and at the end of the night we wanted to keep dancing and partying. Thank you Tom for keeping our party going and keeping our reception flowing perfectly!

Tommy with Special Event Resources is amazing. He has great website to organize the music for the day. He has the highest quality equipment (and it's not bulky!) We got tons of compliments from guests about how much they loved the music. He played our must plays and really payed attention to the vibe of the crowd to know exactly what to play next. I already got an email from someone asking for his info so she could use him. She wrote, " i was really impressed by that dj. i haven't been to a wedding in a long time where the music was that good and spot on. and the dj was high energy and a great mc. great choice!" There is no better feeling than being totally relaxed and confident about your vendors. Tommy got it right on point all night. He's also flexible and amenable to whatever style of mc-ing and dj-ing you are interested in. He understood the vibe we were going for and nailed it. We'd highly recommend him.

Working with Tom from Special Event Resources was a truly great experience. He was a true professional and was easy to work with. His company has a great website and a login for clients that was SUPER helpful. My husband and I were able to log in and make changes to our evening whenever we wanted, without having to bother the staff. However, whenever we did have a question, Tom was more than available and helpful! Great job!

It is not everyday that the father of the bride notes how good the DJ is at a wedding because they are so caught up in the moment and the emotional significance of it all. My dad was especially emotional and caught up in the moment. But DJ Tom of Special Event Resources managed to make a lasting impression because my dad said our wedding was really fun and lively because of the amazing energy that DJ Tom brought to the dance floor. Not only was he more than just a DJ...he helped me with all of the custom music I wanted played at our outdoor wedding ceremony at Brooklyn Botanical Garden but he also rocked the house during the reception with a little Male vs. Female dance off. It was awesome and everyone in their mother was on the dance floor. They also remembered little things..like wanting a specific song played for when the surprise groom's cake was delivered. That was an especially touching moment for me. I was ecstatic about all of my vendors on our wedding day but especially with Special Event Resources as I knew that the music would make or break our wedding and it was one area that I felt the least confident about. I am so happy that we were able to book Special Event Resources. I highly recommend them.
