overwhelmed, and unfortunately I've had an incredibly hard year so planning a wedding was such a difficult thing for me, and Brian offered SO much guidance and direction! He answered questions I didn't even know I had. He knows ALL about this process, and knows things you didn't even know you had to know. If you're on the fence, just trust this man and he will deliver! He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. You can tell he not only enjoys his job, but knows it VERY well! He has a great voice for being the MC and is very well spoken. The up lighting is a great touch. We had multiple people compliment us on our choice of DJ/officiant, but we owe it all to him. il hurricane Ian hit on September 28th, 2022 and we were left without a venue with a month until our wedding. Scrambling to throw together a wedding on our original wedding date in Michigan in a month we found Brian through the knot and told him our situation and after talking to him for over an hour we knew we had found our guy. Surprisingly, we had several other options of reputable DJ's available for our wedding date, but we were sold on Brian's positive upbeat energy and many years of experience. Brian was understanding of our situation and made every effort to talk to us and make sure he had all of the details right with the short amount of time we had. Brian was everything we had hoped for and more. He not only pulled it off, he completely crushed it! Brian was organized, timely, well-prepared, and genuinely cared about making our wedding the wedding of our dreams and he more than succeeded. My husband and I are so grateful we found Brian and he was available with such short notice because he truly made our wedding everything we wanted it to be. Brian was a phenomenal DJ. He had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. Brian's special moments dance was truly one of the most memorable moments of the night. Brian was everything we had hoped for and more. From start to finish, Brian was organized, well-prepared, and genuinely cared about making our wedding phenomenal and he did just that. Brian worked with our venue and went above and beyond for his “dancing on clouds” when they asked for more information so we could get what we wanted. He is so detailed with the reception portion, that honestly knowing he had everything under control, was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. I wish we had another event we could have him for, I know all my guests had fun at the reception, and so did we! I don’t think I really ever left the dance floor. However the pictures all came out blurry, not sure if this was my guests having so much fun they couldn’t stand still, or the equipment. r wedding. My now husband and I are really into music so I wanted a DJ who would be open to the music that I wanted to play, and would be able to cater to the mood we were trying to create. We met with Brian before the wedding to review details, timelines, playlists, etc. - and he was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. He did a great job with intros and announcements, he played all of the songs we asked him to and even some of the ones I forgot...he had everyone dancing the whole time. Let me tell you, personality was at the top of our list when booking a DJ and Brian is awesome! He has great charisma, is easy to work with, and reads the crowd well. There were always people on the dance floor and I got so many compliments from guests afterwards that had a great time! Planning a wedding was extremely challenging with the current pandemic, but Brian was able to work with us on last minute changes due to changes with our venue and timing. Brian was on top of our event schedule during the ceremony and reception so we never had to worry about when or where we needed to be which allowed us to be able to enjoy every moment without looking at the clock! I would book Special Moments again in a heartbeat if I ever need a DJ in the future.

Weekly updates to the Governor’s Executive Orders requiring limited gatherings had created new challenges for our wedding date, as well as the well-being of our family and friends. Two weeks before our event, we decided to make extreme changes to our ceremony venue to allow for proper social distancing – but still being able to proceed with our wedding. Rob, Special Moments Entertainment, was more than our DJ. He really is quite knowledgeable about the wedding process itself; and was a huge help in keeping things moving along, making suggestions that were considerate of our guests, and supporting the evening in full. From our cocktail hour, through dinner, and then the dance party – Rob kept all our family and friends entertained. He kept a great pulse on our guests, always choosing a wonderful assortment of music perfect for that exact moment in time. Guests of all ages were entertained, dancing, and enjoying every moment of our special day. The lighting used helped create such a fantastic energy!! I cannot thank him and Tabitha enough for making our day such a huge success! So many people were complimenting us on our DJ, saying how much fun they were having! What a wonderful way to start our new adventure in life; but also a wonderful way for our family and friends to congregate safely for a little while! is wife are phenomenal. We had our wedding at the Ford Piquette Plant which is beautiful (recommend 15/10), but also comes pretty bare bones. Now this is where Brian comes in. I attended a wedding of some good friends and they had Brian DJ their wedding. Planning a wedding can get annoying, so I was all for recommendations. My friends loved Brian, so we decided to reach out. Brian was the only DJ we contacted, and I could not have been happier. He's organized, meticulous, professional, but super chill. Brian was not only our reception DJ, he and his wife also did all the music and organization for our ceremony. They made sure everything ran smoothly. I was so lucky to have my vendors, I literally didn't have to think about or worry about a thing on our wedding day. Brian and his wife organized a beautiful ceremony and I honestly danced for three hours straight at the reception. I ended my wedding night with my hair down, shoes MIA (recovered at the venue the next day lol), White Castles, and some Ludacris...so what I would call a great party. A great party needs a great DJ...that's Brian and Special Moments.

When we were originally looking at music options for our wedding, we were deciding on whether we wanted a band (super expensive) or a DJ (more affordable). We really wanted that big band feel of excitement and energy and getting the guests up and moving...and let me tell you Brian did a fantastic job! I have been to many weddings and guests who aren't big dancers tend to sit and mingle and maybe get up for one dance or so and head home. Brian brings lots of experience and knowledge with him on a great variety of music, special dances, and ways to get guests up and moving. There were far more people than I would have expected who stayed up until the end of the night when it was time for Brian to end and go home. I recommend Special Moments Entertainment to anyone looking for a great entertainer!

Anyone could play good music, but Brian is a total professional and knows exactly what songs to play to get people out on the dance floor, and keep them dancing all night long! He also is a total pro with the sentimental songs and moments and sincerely does want to be a part of making this a once and lifetime experience for the entire audience! He has a sincere heartfelt passion for music and his profession and my wife and I felt like we hit the jackpot with having him as our DJ and MC! We could tell that he sincerely wants everyone to have a good time! He’s not only an-all-around nice guy, but included so many personal touches in our reception music! He’s not just a DJ, but a professional singer! Per our request, he sang “Can’t take my eyes off of you” during the reception and it was amazing!!! And on top of being a total pro, he has the best of the best DJ equipment, microphones, speakers, etc. The acoustics and quality of the sound compared to something you’d hear at a professional music venue. Brian also has so much experience that he thinks of everything. He always brings a backup set of equipment for good faith, he meets with you personally before the wedding to go over in detail exactly what you are envisioning for your wedding reception, makes professional suggestions, and all at the same time is fun to hang out with! My wife and I are forever grateful for Brian! He has the experience, an amazing voice, energy, kindness, passion, top of the line professional equipment and a love for music that truly makes him the best of the best!

He included some very personal touches to our day, and spent quite a bit of time getting to know us and our musical tastes. my husband to make sure our wedding ceremony music and reception music was done exactly the way we wanted it. Brian even worked with us on our grand entrance dance which we wanted a little different than the norm and he got it perfect! Long story short, I planned a surprise gift giving for my husband that was supposed to be videotaped by our videographer but I had to do it early because some of our guests that wanted to see me present this gift to my husband, had to leave early and our video person couldn't make it back in time so Brian's wife stepped in and did the video for us! She also took many random photos throughout the night. After our wedding day they sent us a flash drive with the videos and pictures on it at no additional charge even though we offered. Brian did awesome with the different genres of music since we had guests from 80 to 2 at our wedding. Everyone was up and dancing all night. Everyone had a blast. He is not only good at music but good and MC'ing as well. He got to our venue very early to set up and test his equipment and even stayed longer than we had originally anticipated. He was professional and fun at the same time. We highly recommend him!! You will be very pleased!

st never dance. I’ve received so many compliments about our Dj, and I couldn’t be happier with how great of a job Brian did! He also did our uplighting which looked fantastic. I was worried about it looking too neon and colorful, but I also didn’t want bland, however, he told me not to worry. He seriously delivered and the venue looked amazing. My husband and I also really enjoyed the planning process, because Brian was on top of everything.
