Its amazing how wonderful Brian was! He was one of the two biggest staples in our wedding! This process is very overwhelming, and I'm not good at multitasking and I'm very easily overwhelmed, and unfortunately I've had an incredibly hard year so planning a wedding was such a difficult thing for me, and Brian offered SO much guidance and direction! He answered questions I didn't even know I had. He knows ALL about this process, and knows things you didn't even know you had to know. If you're on the fence, just trust this man and he will deliver! He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. You can tell he not only enjoys his job, but knows it VERY well! His years of experience are untouchable to any new DJ. Would highly, and will highly, recommend Brian! He has incredible reviews for a reason, trust that. Go with Brain!

Brian does a fantastic job! He had done a couple weddings I’ve been apart of including my brothers and now mine. We could not be any happier! He knows how to read the room for music and keeps the dance floor going all night. I haven’t been to many weddings that still have tons of people on the dance floor when the lights go up, but everyone he has been apart of had that happen. He has a great voice for being the MC and is very well spoken. The up lighting is a great touch. We had multiple people compliment us on our choice of DJ/officiant, but we owe it all to him. You will not regret hiring special moments for your wedding!

We were so impressed with Brian and many of our guests commented on how great he was. His communication was great from the start and he really took his time to talk through everything with us. When we weren't sure about some song choices, he offered a variety of songs that matched our style. My husband and I used Special Moments Entertainment for our wedding on 10/29/22 and we are so glad we did. We were supposed to have a destination wedding in Fort Myers, Florida until hurricane Ian hit on September 28th, 2022 and we were left without a venue with a month until our wedding. Scrambling to throw together a wedding on our original wedding date in Michigan in a month we found Brian through the knot and told him our situation and after talking to him for over an hour we knew we had found our guy. Surprisingly, we had several other options of reputable DJ's available for our wedding date, but we were sold on Brian's positive upbeat energy and many years of experience. Brian was understanding of our situation and made every effort to talk to us and make sure he had all of the details right with the short amount of time we had. Brian was everything we had hoped for and more. He not only pulled it off, he completely crushed it! Brian was organized, timely, well-prepared, and genuinely cared about making our wedding the wedding of our dreams and he more than succeeded. My husband and I are so grateful we found Brian and he was available with such short notice because he truly made our wedding everything we wanted it to be. Brian was a phenomenal DJ. My husband and I went through Brian for our DJ services for our wedding. This guy. Let me tell you. He is great. Brian was our DJ for the night, constantly keeping the music going, the mood light, and he kept us on schedule. Brian answered all of my questions throughout the planning and day of so wonderfully and clearly that I didn't have a worry in my mind. He even sat with us to help iron out all of the fine details for the reception start time and how to piece all of the songs together for a seamless ceremony and reception. DJ Brian did a fantastic job at our wedding. He arrived on time and fully prepared. We were able to meet with him a week prior to work out all the details and everything went very smoothly. He has a lot of energy and was great at getting the guests up and dancing. He also did a great job of balancing our personal song requests along with our guests’ requests.

We attended a wedding that from Special Moments Entertainment was DJing about 6 months prior to our wedding and we called the following week to meet with him and his team to book them for our big day. Rob did an amazing job playing MC on our wedding day making sure that our guests knew what was going on throughout the night and that we stayed on our time line. He had an amazing assistant, Tabitha, with him that helped to make sure that communication between every vendor was on point. Then he made sure that our dance floor was always going! The mix of music was just as we discussed as well as he passed out song request cards during dinner so our guests were excited to hear their song request come on. I told Rob my goal was to have our dace floor going all night long and he did not disappoint!

Brian was extremely professional and thorough from start to finish. His experience in the industry is truly worth it and showed during the planning and the day of our wedding. I was so happy to find Brian to be our DJ. My now husband and I are originally from around Brian’s area, so to me, that seemed like a sign. His reviews and awards are well deserved, he was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Brian worked with our venue and went above and beyond for his “dancing on clouds” when they asked for more information so we could get what we wanted. He is so detailed with the reception portion, that honestly knowing he had everything under control, was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. I wish we had another event we could have him for, I know all my guests had fun at the reception, and so did we! I don’t think I really ever left the dance floor. I’m sad our wedding day was over in the blink of an eye, but we wouldn’t change having Brian as our DJ. Thank you so much for everything, we appreciate it and we hope to see you again!

Our DJ was so much fun and great to work with! They had us fill out a form before outlining the entire day that made things go super smooth, but they did not play the 3 songs we requested (this was something listed on the form), but we didn't even realize until a few days after. Besides that, the music was GREAT. They had the party going and we had so much fun. I would recommend them to anyone.

DJ Brian was so great to work with! He was really flexible with us when we postponed our 2020 wedding to 2021. He helped us plan our reception timeline in a way that flowed really well. He was a great emcee and got people up and dancing. I had so much fun at my reception and a lot of my friends said my wedding was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to! After the reception, our guests were talking about how much fun our DJ was!

Brian did an amazing job at making sure he had a great plan in place to make our night go perfect! He anticipated our needs for the night and was very flexible when things got behind. He was awesome to work with and our dance floor was packed all night long! I also booked the magic mirror photo booth with him which was super fun and the staff for that was awesome. However the pictures all came out blurry, not sure if this was my guests having so much fun they couldn’t stand still, or the equipment. In the end it was all a lot of fun and that’s all that mattered to us!

Highly recommend! I had no idea how much goes into to hosting a wedding reception. Brian had an organized format, allowing my husband and I, a relaxed environment to choose songs and the layout of the night. SO many things my husband and I NEVER would have thought of, Brian helped us with. It was a magical night, which music, atmosphere and lighting were much to credit. Brian is personable, and made my husband I very comfortable. We didn't have to worry or think about the scheduling of events of the night because he had it all taken care of! We recently used Brian from Special Moments Ent. to DJ our wedding, and I can't recommend him enough! We discovered him at a party several years ago, and knew we wanted him for our wedding. My now husband and I are really into music so I wanted a DJ who would be open to the music that I wanted to play, and would be able to cater to the mood we were trying to create. We met with Brian before the wedding to review details, timelines, playlists, etc. - and he was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. He did a great job with intros and announcements, he played all of the songs we asked him to and even some of the ones I forgot...he had everyone dancing the whole time. We booked Special Moments and had Brian as our DJ for our big day. The level of customer service we received from him was phenomenal which was such a relief when you are planning a wedding. He took the time to meet with us several times and walk us through his detailed planning document so that everything was lined up and perfect for the wedding day! Let me tell you, personality was at the top of our list when booking a DJ and Brian is awesome! He has great charisma, is easy to work with, and reads the crowd well. There were always people on the dance floor and I got so many compliments from guests afterwards that had a great time! Planning a wedding was extremely challenging with the current pandemic, but Brian was able to work with us on last minute changes due to changes with our venue and timing. Brian was on top of our event schedule during the ceremony and reception so we never had to worry about when or where we needed to be which allowed us to be able to enjoy every moment without looking at the clock! I would book Special Moments again in a heartbeat if I ever need a DJ in the future.

Covid19 Wedding – 2020! A special SHOUT OUT to Special Moments Entertainment and our DJ Rob and his partner, Tabitha! This year (2020) has been such a roller-coaster ride that made planning a wedding even more stressful than usual. Weekly updates to the Governor’s Executive Orders requiring limited gatherings had created new challenges for our wedding date, as well as the well-being of our family and friends. Two weeks before our event, we decided to make extreme changes to our ceremony venue to allow for proper social distancing – but still being able to proceed with our wedding. Rob, Special Moments Entertainment, was more than our DJ. He really is quite knowledgeable about the wedding process itself; and was a huge help in keeping things moving along, making suggestions that were considerate of our guests, and supporting the evening in full. From our cocktail hour, through dinner, and then the dance party – Rob kept all our family and friends entertained. He kept a great pulse on our guests, always choosing a wonderful assortment of music perfect for that exact moment in time. Guests of all ages were entertained, dancing, and enjoying every moment of our special day. The lighting used helped create such a fantastic energy!! I cannot thank him and Tabitha enough for making our day such a huge success! So many people were complimenting us on our DJ, saying how much fun they were having! What a wonderful way to start our new adventure in life; but also a wonderful way for our family and friends to congregate safely for a little while! Brian was so amazing and very accommodating to my husband and I for our wedding during the Covid crisis. We were lucky enough to get our wedding in the last weekend before everything seemed to shut down (March 7, 2020) and let me tell you Brian made it one heck of a party. Brian and his wife are phenomenal. We had our wedding at the Ford Piquette Plant which is beautiful (recommend 15/10), but also comes pretty bare bones. Now this is where Brian comes in. I attended a wedding of some good friends and they had Brian DJ their wedding. Planning a wedding can get annoying, so I was all for recommendations. My friends loved Brian, so we decided to reach out. Brian was the only DJ we contacted, and I could not have been happier. He's organized, meticulous, professional, but super chill. Brian was not only our reception DJ, he and his wife also did all the music and organization for our ceremony. They made sure everything ran smoothly. I was so lucky to have my vendors, I literally didn't have to think about or worry about a thing on our wedding day. Brian and his wife organized a beautiful ceremony and I honestly danced for three hours straight at the reception. I ended my wedding night with my hair down, shoes MIA (recovered at the venue the next day lol), White Castles, and some Ludacris...so what I would call a great party. A great party needs a great DJ...that's Brian and Special Moments.

Brian was our DJ for our wedding this past February. We chose him/ Special Moments Entertainment after a recommendation and seeing him in action at another wedding. He did an amazing job at keeping people on the dance floor all night!! When we were originally looking at music options for our wedding, we were deciding on whether we wanted a band (super expensive) or a DJ (more affordable). We really wanted that big band feel of excitement and energy and getting the guests up and moving...and let me tell you Brian did a fantastic job! I have been to many weddings and guests who aren't big dancers tend to sit and mingle and maybe get up for one dance or so and head home. Brian brings lots of experience and knowledge with him on a great variety of music, special dances, and ways to get guests up and moving. There were far more people than I would have expected who stayed up until the end of the night when it was time for Brian to end and go home. I recommend Special Moments Entertainment to anyone looking for a great entertainer!

Brian at Special Moments Entertainment is by far the best DJ ever! Honestly, hands down! And that's not just my opinion, so many people during our wedding came up to my wife and I and said, “Your DJ is amazing! The music and his voice! He is the best ever!” And we 100% agree! Anyone could play good music, but Brian is a total professional and knows exactly what songs to play to get people out on the dance floor, and keep them dancing all night long! He also is a total pro with the sentimental songs and moments and sincerely does want to be a part of making this a once and lifetime experience for the entire audience! He has a sincere heartfelt passion for music and his profession and my wife and I felt like we hit the jackpot with having him as our DJ and MC! We could tell that he sincerely wants everyone to have a good time! He’s not only an-all-around nice guy, but included so many personal touches in our reception music! He’s not just a DJ, but a professional singer! Per our request, he sang “Can’t take my eyes off of you” during the reception and it was amazing!!! My Dad said, he honestly sounded better than Frankie Valli and I agree! And on top of being a total pro, he has the best of the best DJ equipment, microphones, speakers, etc. The acoustics and quality of the sound compared to something you’d hear at a professional music venue. Brian also has so much experience that he thinks of everything. He always brings a backup set of equipment for good faith, he meets with you personally before the wedding to go over in detail exactly what you are envisioning for your wedding reception, makes professional suggestions, and all at the same time is fun to hang out with! My wife and I are forever grateful for Brian! He has the experience, an amazing voice, energy, kindness, passion, top of the line professional equipment and a love for music that truly makes him the best of the best!

I know this is a little late!!! We had Rob DJ our wedding on Septermber 6th and I cant say how happy we were with the ooutcome... Rob and Tabitha were amazing... they made everything so perfect and our guest had a great time. Brian (and his wife) we're amazing! We have nothing but good things to say about them! Brian met with us a few different times and had multiple phone conversations with myself and my husband to make sure our wedding ceremony music and reception music was done exactly the way we wanted it. Brian even worked with us on our grand entrance dance which we wanted a little different than the norm and he got it perfect! Long story short, I planned a surprise gift giving for my husband that was supposed to be videotaped by our videographer but I had to do it early because some of our guests that wanted to see me present this gift to my husband, had to leave early and our video person couldn't make it back in time so Brian's wife stepped in and did the video for us! She also took many random photos throughout the night. After our wedding day they sent us a flash drive with the videos and pictures on it at no additional charge even though we offered. Brian did awesome with the different genres of music since we had guests from 80 to 2 at our wedding. Everyone was up and dancing all night. Everyone had a blast. He is not only good at music but good and MC'ing as well. He got to our venue very early to set up and test his equipment and even stayed longer than we had originally anticipated. He was professional and fun at the same time. We highly recommend him!! You will be very pleased!

Brian is AMAZING! When my husband and I were searching for a DJ for our wedding, we really wanted to find someone who would make sure the dance floor stayed full all night, who kept us on schedule throughout the evening, and was also an affordable option for two college students (like ourselves). Brian was all of that and more! He was extremely thorough while helping us prepare for our wedding and select music that would help us personalize our special day. He also provided advice related to other wedding topics/events based on his past experiences. This was very helpful and appreciated since I had never planned a wedding before this and had not considered certain details. Brian also made himself available to us the week before the wedding for a phone call meeting to discuss the wedding and go over our timeline one last time. His confidence and experience allowed my husband and I to have peace of mind in the midst of stressing over last minute wedding details. I credit all of my vendors for the perfection of our wedding day, Brian included! He played beautiful music during our ceremony that included all of our special requests, made sure we stayed on schedule, and kept the dance floor packed throughout the entire evening! Our wedding was a BLAST. Brian kept our dance floor packed the entire night, and everyone was having so much fun dancing. He even got my family onto the dance floor, and they almost never dance. I’ve received so many compliments about our Dj, and I couldn’t be happier with how great of a job Brian did! He also did our uplighting which looked fantastic. I was worried about it looking too neon and colorful, but I also didn’t want bland, however, he told me not to worry. He seriously delivered and the venue looked amazing. My husband and I also really enjoyed the planning process, because Brian was on top of everything. He also took the time to go over everything with you, even when we were DJ hunting and had not committed, he treated us the same as when we met with him two weeks before the wedding. We could not have been happier with Special Moments Entertainment. They arrived plenty of time in advance for set up. The timeline for the reception went flawless. We were able to be confident throughout the whole event that everything would flow smooth and it did. We could focus on the fun, dancing etc. with our loved ones. From the moment the first guest walked in until the last guest left went wonderful. When the dancing started there was not a single empty space on the dance floor. Their professionalism was outstanding. It is completely apparent that Special Moments Entertainment has extreme love and passion for what they do! I recommend them to everyone I know and have great confidence that you will have just as good of an experience as we did. They helped to make our wedding day the best day of our lives!

I knew from being at past weddings that a DJ can make or break a wedding. I spent months researching DJs and when I found one with decent reviews I’d check every website possible to make sure there were no negative reviews. Everyone had at least one “not perfect” review in my mind... besides Brian (Special Moments). I actually ended up telling him that the first time we spoke because I was so incredibly impressed. He had to be too good to be true.... he’s not!! He’s the best. We didn’t even get to meet him in person.. 2 long Skype calls and we completely trusted this person to put on our wedding.. that says something!! Our wedding was all outside (ceremony and then barn reception) and it was record high heat (feels like 100 kinda heat). There were people on the dance floor ALL night long. We had people comment on his amazing personality, and how he interacted with guests. He made sure he knew our entire evening minute by minute so he could be completely in charge and take the stress off us and our family. Next thing we knew Brian would be tapping our shoulder telling us it’s time for the dance, cutting cake, etc. but it took the stress off us so we could enjoy our day and guests. His wife was at our wedding, and we couldn’t thank her enough for all she did for us. If I could give Special Moments a higher rating than 5 I would in a heartbeat.

Brian was awesome! He is very flexible, communicative, and has great ideas. All of our guests loved him, and the music at the wedding was the perfect combination to get the young and old people out on the dance floor. He is extremely experienced and good at reading a crowd - a for sure to make your wedding go smoothly!

Brian was the absolute best choice we could have made for our wedding! He was very thorough in the planning stages and he really cared about making sure our day was exactly what we wanted. He responded to emails very quickly, even one I frantically sent the morning of the wedding to confirm one tiny detail! He did a great job of keeping our timeline on track for the night and keeping our guests engaged and dancing. He included a couple of special dances we hadn’t seen before and they were a huge hit with our crowd. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Brian to anyone not only looking for a fun DJ, but a true professional who really cares about his clients.

Special Moments Entertainment helped make my wedding absolutely perfect. Both my husband and I were planning a wedding from another state and so could only go based on reviews- Brian had the highest reviews in the area and we went with him. It was the BEST decision we could have ever made and I want to leave him an absolutely GLOWING review so that others are able to find him!!!! What a gem! We were particularly stressed about trying to balance two cultures in a wedding reception (Indian and American). We wanted to bring a mix of both to please all parties attending the wedding, but had no idea how to go about doing this. Meeting with Brian made all my fears and stresses go away. His primary goal was to make sure the music flowed well. We offered a few suggestions for songs and he took it from there. It turned out incredibly well!!! He got the vibe just right during dinner with a flawless mix of indian and western music, and then again during the dance portion of the evening. I personally thought the music was awesome but wondered if I was biased. However, many guests specifically came up to me to tell me just how awesome the music was. One guest told me that her boyfriend never dances and at our wedding he was out on the dance floor all night! Thank you SO much to Brian and his wife for making our evening perfect!! I cannot say enough good things about Special Moments Entertainment and about Rob in particular. From our first consultation, I knew this was the DJ company that I wanted to go with. Rob did an absolutely fantastic job during our wedding, even when a down pour of rain set back our outside ceremony. Rob kept everything organized and kept everyone partying all night long. He even agreed to stay longer than we originally planned to keep the party going. My guests loved him! I would highly recommend!

We hired Brian for our 5/27/18 wedding and he did a great job!! One of the easiest vendors to work with. He was so friendly and fast to respond. I really only had to let him know what kind of music we liked and he took care of the rest! He did a great job at keeping us on the dance floor!
