Tammy was absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond throughout our entire wedding planning process. We chose the partial planning package and as an out-of-state bride it ended up being an absolute dream. Tammy handled so much more than we ever expected and was always just a phone call away whenever we had questions or needed guidance.
She gave us amazing vendor recommendations and being able to use some of her decor items was incredibly helpful, especially planning from out of state. Every vendor immediately felt at ease when they heard we were working with Tammy because they knew everything would be organized and taken care of.
On the wedding day itself, everything went off perfectly. Tammy made our day even more beautiful than we could have imagined and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She handled it all so we could just enjoy every moment. We truly could not have done it without her. Tammy helped us plan and execute our dream wedding, and we are so grateful for everything she did!

Because of his attention to detail and organization skills, he not only keeps our inventory of decor in working order and accessible, but he’s an excellent assistant on the wedding day, making couples dreams come true.

Her role has been keeping the rest of the team organized with client files, RSVP tracking, Invitations, and Save The Dates. his is why we booked her - I knew she'd be able to nail our big fat 300-person wedding with ease.
And that she did! Tammy is an expert and spinning a lot of plates without neglecting anything. No detail was forgotten, no stone was unturned - I truly think this is why our wedding was such a hit. Guests had the best time and never had to worry about where they were supposed to be or what was supposed to be happening. It was a day and night of nonstop fun, and that was all because of Tammy. I'm extremely Type-A organized and Tammy makes me look like a season finale of Hoarders in comparison. She is the best and I felt calm my whole wedding day knowing that the event was in great, capable hands.

When my daughter got engaged, hiring Tammy was at the top of our list. We had worked with her before for my son’s wedding. In our first meeting, we realized my daughter picked a crazy busy weekend for the wedding. Tammy talked us through all that we needed to consider, helped us review venues, and made it possible to find blocked rooms on a very jam-packed Tampa hotel weekend. She assisted us in finding incredible vendors. When we called vendors, they praised Tammy and kept telling us how much they loved working with her. She attended vendor meetings with us, helped review contracts, and kept track of everything. She advised us on what made sense, what things weren’t necessary, and even what was a complete waste of money because of logistics or time limits. She helped us stay within budget and even saved us money!
She and her team decorated the entire venue in an hour (venue requirement). Tammy thought of every detail, asked us questions that we hadn’t even considered, and advocated for my daughter throughout the entire planning process. She has so many years of experience and it showed in her calm, nothing rattles her demeanor. She’s professional, kind, caring, and makes the bride and her family feel incredibly special throughout the entire process. On my daughter’s wedding day, Tammy was everywhere she was needed. The minute she was needed. NOTHING went wrong because we had Tammy!
This was our second time hiring Tammy for a wedding and I would hire her 100 times more for events! She is worth every penny. If you want a dream wedding, hire this dream planner and her team!

have a venue or date picked. She helped us decide on a venue and worked with us to carefully build the perfect team of photography, videography, and design. She truly never missed a beat. When our original venue was damaged by Hurricane Ian and our wedding was cancelled three weeks before our wedding date, Tammy took over in calling multiple venues so we could keep our original wedding date. This stressful and emotional time was quickly resolved with so much grace and empathy, I cannot imagine what would have happened if we had not had hired her. The day of our wedding was spent enjoying each other and our family and friends without needing to think twice that everything was not taken care of! so I called her and felt immediate relief. Having never hired a coordinator before I realized that the original person I was working with had no clue what they were doing. Tammy & Brittany were on top of everything ensuring that our wedding day went without any hiccups. They worked with all of my vendors and for the first time in over a year, I felt helped. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect, Brittany was a literal angel and was there for everything and anything we needed. And when one of our vendors didn’t deliver the dance floor, Jennifer managed to have it delivered and in place before guests set foot in the reception venue in less than an hour (a huge feat when getting married on Clearwater beach during spring break and some of our guests didn’t make it to the ceremony on time due to traffic). Special Moments was worth every penny!!! I can’t recommend enough.

Our wedding caused us ZERO stress ! I also sent her my guest list and she did all of our invites and rsvp’s! Our wedding was the best day of just enjoying the moment. I had no other worries and really that’s what an amazing planner can provide for you ! She provides so many things like table numbers, card box, welcome signs etc. that in the end you save money that you would have wasted on a one time use. If your wanting to enjoy the months, days, and all moments of your wedding work with these ladies truly the BEST! We cannot thank them enough. Our guests still say it was the best wedding ! nding her to my sister if she gets married in the area, as well. We hired Tammy in April 2021 for our wedding at The Vinoy on December 31, 2021. Because we had postponed our wedding from 2020, we were about halfway through planning when we hired Tammy. We needed help finding and selecting some additional vendors and really wanted someone to help us execute in the month leading up to the wedding and day-of, so we selected the Treasured Moments package. Every vendor that Tammy recommended (florist, linens, dance floor rental, and cold sparklers for our midnight moment) was outstanding. She also saved us tons of money by loaning us many items we would have otherwise had to buy for our big day, like dozens of candles for our ceremony and centerpieces, a card box, cake serving set, table numbers, flower girl baskets, and much more. But more than anything, Tammy made sure our wedding day actually happened! Our venue coordinator ended up having a family emergency the week of our wedding and couldn't be there; another coordinator stepped in, but she had other events at the venue happening simultaneously. Without Tammy, I'm not sure what we would have done. Tammy made sure that everything at our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. When things weren't quite right she made sure to flag it and get it corrected. Throughout the process, Tammy always had our back and spoke up on our behalf if something seemed off. She also offered a lot of good advice when we ran into issues or questions with any of our vendors. Tammy runs a tight ship, and our whole day was organized and timed to a T. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing—we just got to enjoy our day! If you want a seasoned professional who will execute your wedding vision and make sure your wedding goes smoothly, go with Tammy and Special Moments Events!

Every single time I talked to her she gave me perfect answers, great advice, and just made me feel so confident in what I was doing. The day of the wedding we were so afraid of the rain that was predicted exactly during my ceremony on the beach. She specifically said to me "you don't need to worry until I tell you to worry"...basically taking that burden off my shoulders. She handled everything so perfectly and helped make my vision a reality. Also every other vendor we worked with raved about what a great choice we had made with Tammy and how much they enjoyed working with her. I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the Clearwater/Tampa area. She is a dream come true.

ffer who worked at David’s bridals, this clearly is above her paygrade. She did not recreate one detail given for my wedding, she was given verbal instruction, a list for decor items needed and wanted, inspiration shots and restated the instruction for what I envisioned. Sadly, I was on the receiving end of an amateur with no oversight on my wedding day. It is evident the owner has no accountability to her staff and their lack of attention to brides vision. I simply must not have bought into the Elite services of competence.
Let me note my Wedding turned out beautiful due to the friends and family attendance and how my new husband and I added our touches that WE carried thru on: covering room charges, fresh flowers in guests rooms, activities the entire weekend, Cuban dinner at our home, and nothing but love and sincere wishes. But as for decor, guest relations with vendor, approving meals and unknown costs to the bride groom, damaging and flat out losing items of the bride groom then trying to make up untruths to avoid any accountability is just piss poor business sense.
I paid $1100 as most of my tasks needed were the day coordination but I got kindergarten goes rouge. Just ask for shauna and your bound to get the discount as she is truly Kmart blue light special with coupon. Worst decision of the wedding was giving them the reins to make my dream come alive.
I stopped payment on my credit card and plan to fight that large portion of payment due to my dissatisfaction. Beware if you hear the name Shauna. She inferred last time we spoke she was in charge of the chocolate fondue dessert bar and cotton candy machines. She wasn’t kidding and the joke is now on me. Oh well. Thank goodness the evening was mostly in the dark. Cheers to other beautiful brides on their wedding days. Hope my honest commentary made you giggle, I did.

n our own, but quickly began to feel overwhelmed. When we found Tammy, it was like she saved us!!! From our first phone call (which lasted over an hour), Tammy had given us so much helpful information and I felt like she instantly helped me narrow down my sporadic vision for our wedding. We planned for a little over a year and throughout that entire year, Tammy was available by email or phone for any and all questions. To say that she is detail oriented and well organized would be a huge understatement! Tammy led us to finding all of our amazing vendors we used for the wedding and we loved every single one of them. Tammy always listened to us, what we wanted and helped us to stick to our budget, while still having a glamorous wedding! On the wedding day, everything ran so incredibly smooth, I did not worry about a single thing, and was able to enjoy the entire day without any stress. My husband and I were blown away by the work the Special Moments team did on our reception space, it was better than anything we could have imagined. Tammy and her team literally brought our wedding dreams to life! I feel like everyone should have a Tammy and Special Moments team on their wedding day! If you hire them, you will absolutely not regret it!!!

had so many ideas and suggestions based on her vast experience, which certainly assisted us. Tammy was incredibly helpful and my mother and I are grateful for her guidance and advice. I felt much more comfortable with her confidence regarding our caterer vendor as well as with her familiarity of our wedding venue. Even more, Tammy was kind enough to let us utilize some of her warehouse items for our wedding ceremony. We also purchased a number of glow stick items that needed to be assembled close to our reception time because the glow would expire otherwise. Tammy’s team made that happen and brought them out at the perfect time. Throughout the wedding, her team assisted us with water (on a very hot day), my train, asking if we needed anything and just being overall helpful. I was not nervous on the day of my wedding at all. One, because I knew I was marrying the man that I have always wanted to spend the rest of my life with. But, two, because we had Tammy and her team. Tammy has a take-charge type of attitude and as a result, things get done. I’d definitely trust Tammy and her team with another event for us!

First, Special Moments are most affordable you will find for what they o...

Second, it is well worth the expense to have expert wedding planners like Tammy and Petra take away all the stress on your wedding day so you can enjoy every minute of it… cause it goes by quick! I didn't even know the cops showed up in response to a noise complaint, or that my dad was late getting to the ceremony to walk me down the aisle! We never ran out of anything, and all the vendors did what they were hired to do, so we didn't need to manage a thing. We could just enjoy our special day with our family and friends.
Finally, whatever it costs to hire them, you will get every penny back through their excellent recommendations and vast inventory. They saved us thousands of dollars by recommending an amazing caterer at a per person cost that other vendors couldn’t believe he was charging. And their vast amount of decor inventory for every taste saved us hundreds of dollars on new decor – plus who wants the brain damage of having to sell it all on Craigslist after the wedding?
Petra is one of the hardest workers I know, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the most important day of my life. She was on top of everything at all times, and the day could not have gone any smoother. And she deserves an Emmy for the most memorable part of our day – when she helped play a prank on our best man by telling him I wasn’t coming. Thank you Tammy and Petra for making sure our wedding was the fairytale wedding I had always dreamed of!

sly and was very honest since i was a little stressed coming from out of state in the midst of a hurricane ( micheal) .
They gave me ideas and direction when needed and also paid very close attention to intricate details.

and it was money well spent! My daughter had made a lot of the plans already, but Tammy and her staff coordinated every last detail, plus they designed and provided the centerpieces. They removed 90% of the stress, handled every detail with professionalism--even a last minute glitch that none of us saw coming--and made sure everything happened as the bride and groom desired. We were all able to fully enjoy the celebration without having to worry about the details. If you think you can't afford a wedding planner, think again... the price was very reasonable! I highly recommend Tammy and Special Moments Event Planning. I would definitely call on Tammy if I needed to plan another event, either personally or for my business.

live over on the east coast of flirday so it was stressful enough planning a wedding from 4.5 hours away!) I hired Tammy to do the nitty gritty day of things like setting up the reception hall and transportt a lot of decorations and things that i needed or just wanted at the reception. She also contacted all of my vendors to make sure that I had ordered what i needed to so that day of, we were not missing or needing anything! Tammy and her team were a godsend throughout the entire wedding process! She helped me find and book vendors, handled all of my day of wedding needs and was just the best, organized and helpful planner. Without her, my day would not have been the same or even really have happened!! She set up every table, made sure that the vendors were all in check and even hand did the draping for the reception hall! Tammy was also on top of everything from sending me emails to remind me to do this or that, to texting to me if I hadn’t responded yet through the planning process. She truly was a blessing to work with and I look forward to using her in the future for any of my event planing needs! I highly recommend not only getting an event planner but to hire Tammy and her team for whatever you may need help with! They made every wish for my wedding come true! I am truly blessed to have worked with such a talented and hardworking event planner!! Thank you Tammy for making my wedding day and planning process so special!!!

We hired Tammy and her staff at Special Moments a little over a month out from our wedding. We were stressing out about how we were going to bring our decorations for the ceremony ...
and the reception table centerpieces to the wedding venue and then bring them back home for our destination wedding. We decided to talk to Tammy and she created a custom package for us so that we would be able to choose from the vast amount of decorations she had and use those decorations for our wedding instead of having to ship them or buy all of them the weekend of our wedding. That was only one of the ways Tammy saved our sanity and kept us from stressing out. We also ended up having an issue with our hotel block (completely our fault, not the hotel’s) and Tammy contacted the hotel on our behalf and kept us in the loop on the resolution of the issue. Tammy kept in contact with us regularly, answered our numerous questions patiently, and kept track of all the little last minute changes and details we had. The weekend of the wedding Tammy brought all of our wedding stuff from her office to the venue and saved us so much time and stress since we were already preoccupied with the rehearsal dinner. The day of the wedding, Tammy and Petra were so organized and thought of all the little details that I had forgotten. They also kept us on schedule so that we weren’t running behind. The ceremony decorations in the aisle and at the altar were beautifully done and we were just blown away by the amazing table centerpieces at the reception. Tammy even found a gold cake stand and cake cutting set for us to match our wedding colors! At the end of the wedding we were exhausted but so grateful when we came back up to our room and found that Tammy and Petra had already put everything we needed back in our room and had it cleaned as well! Our only regret is that we didn’t hire Special Moments at the beginning of our wedding planning. We are so grateful to Tammy and Petra for the best wedding ever and would highly recommend them to everyone!

dn't have to do a single thing the day of the wedding, everything was 100% handled. The wind was an issue during the ceremony and Tammy had everything re-arranged, and the linens we had chosen didn't look good the day of so she switched everything out for us. It was absolutely perfect and Tammy made everything so stress free! In addition to Tammy's attention to detail, she recommended very amazing vendors, provided a lot of the things we needed (table numbers and flower girl basket, etc.), and helped get us lower prices on rentals! Highly recommend!
