our wedding. She was amazing to work with, always prompt in her responses, extremely professional, and so helpful in curating our ceremony playlist. She also went out of her way to find specific music for our pre-ceremony playlist from a fellow violinist when she didn’t already have the arrangements herself. She was so accommodating and kind, and IMMENSELY talented. When we heard her play for the first time at our ceremony we were blown away. She also continued playing amidst a rain storm, huddled under an umbrella, to keep the elegant vibes going for guests. Thank you Helen for all your hard work and for providing the most magical music for our day! Sammy was an amazing addition to our wedding! He was a great MC and DJ for our day. He was very easy to work with and kept us in the loop through the entire process. He also created a perfect first dance mashup for us so we could include two songs that were important to both of us. Sammy kept our reception lively and kept the focus on us as a couple. He made it such a fun experience for all our guests and incorporated everything we wanted during our reception. He was also very flexible when we needed to make a last minute change to our exit timeline and was able to keep the party going with those changes. We could not have asked for a better DJ, thank you Sammy for making our day so spectacular! Josh & Carly C.

cial part of our event. He was incredibly dedicated to ensure the Bride and I were enjoying everything and that it all was going as WE wanted. His music and DJ skills, while my bride was nervous and I’m sure we bothered him way too many times…WERE PERFECT! I feel horrible about ever bothering him and we should’ve just trusted him. Because he rocked our dance floor so hard that even the venue staff came out and danced!! Sammy Scott! You’re the best there is and I won’t hear anything else about it!

flexible when plans changed slightly. The music was such a hit, the dance floor was packed with almost all my guests and stayed that way until the end!

g day- Jim was constantly checking in on us and worked with us on timeline and music adjustments as needed. He even took a melting ice cream bar right out of my hand and into his own so it didn’t get on my dress! I can’t recommend Jim and Ogle Entertainment enough!

assisted me in instances such as helping me hike through a mountain in heels, a wedding dress, and in the rain for couples pictures. Book him immediately, as you will not regret it! All my guests said he was the best wedding DJ that they have ever experienced!

in ensuring we had a memorable time. On our wedding day, despite months of careful planning, we had a few unexpected events, lol. A van of guests arrived early as the bride was taking photos outside before the ceremony, the father of the bride took a stumble down the aisle, and a dress / bustle malfunction delayed the Grand Entrance. All that said, those are the moments when you want someone like Jim around…. to move his van to just the right spot so that the bride can make quick dash to the bridal suite (hopefully unnoticed), or to slow the music down during the processional so the timing is just right, or to find the bride’s cell phone with a video of the seamstress bustling the dress so everyone could find the missing button. Jim was literally everywhere but still at the end of the day read the crowd perfectly and delivered a night of great music. We had a ton of memorable moments on the dance floor. Thank you so much, Jim and we appreciate all you did for us on our wedding day. We look back at it with so much joy! -Fran and Doug Floyd

happy and entertained. We loved him he even took an extra step to bring us over drinks and we were taking pictures. 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

send him the link made it all so much easier. He was a huge help on our wedding day with checking in if we needed anything and just making sure we were all good. It was all much appreciated!

our needs were met and always made sure we had a drink in our hand. I cannot say enough pleasant things about him, he truly made us feel special on our wedding day.

ng. Music was a big deal to us, so I had already put together Spotify playlists that I was able to send over to them, but I also didn’t think about/had an opinion on some parts of the day (like before the ceremony starts, or during dinner). Their checklists and questionnaires were really helpful for that, and I was able to say “hey I want these played” or “i trust you, dealer’s choice”. I knew we were in good hands when all our other vendors also made comments like “oh Ogle is your DJ? They’re AWESOME”. If they’re well-known and revered in the industry, that’s an immediate green flag. Jim called my wife and I before the big day and also made it clear that “next to [your] coordinator, I am your butler. Anything you need, I’ll get.”, and that call really made us feel like we’d be taken care of. Sure enough, Jim was the one running water and then cocktails to me and Mae all night! I was also aware that he was paying careful attention to volume for all our mics. Times during the ceremony when we’d falter, when our voices would get quieter, when we’d get more confident and louder, toasts where people would hold the mic close to their mouth or far down near their chest, it didn’t matter, we could hear everyone perfectly, at all times. That’s HARD to do! The photobooth was a hit, the props and backgrounds were wonderful and our guests had a great time, but what truly blew me out of the water was that I got an email about 40 minutes after our sendoff…and it was a dropbox folder of all the photobooth folders. Talk about turnaround! Last but not least - the dancefloor. Our crew gets down, so when the first hard transition into the bangers section of the night happened and everyone lost their mind, I think Jim understood the energy we were bringing, and continued to serve them up. No one left the dance floor the whole night. And the LIGHTS! I felt like I was at a rave, and it was exactly the vibe we wanted. We had a LOT of guests telling us how awesome and perfect the DJ was, and that meant a lot, considering the hype had been building for our dancefloor since 2020! I’m seriously considering just renting an event space and Ogle Entertainment again to throw a party, that’s how much fun we had on the dancefloor. Look. No. Further. 100% recommend.

r 2020 wedding before our reschedule due to our small guest count - but even though we didn't have a big dancing crowd, hiring Sammy was one of the best decisions we made! From the initial booking, the timeline and song selection questionnaire he sends to you to fill out, his DJ and emcee skills and fun demeanor made a huge impact on our night! He was adaptable with a few last minute changes and also quickly made friends with my nephew/flower boy who then tore up the dance floor all night. Thank you so much!

he Magnolia! I would recommend him to everyone!!

ng and took in to account all of our requests.

nderstand the type of music we wanted at our wedding. Darren was our DJ and he kept the crowd engaged & was fun to work with! Helen & her husband made up our string duo and it was the perfect touch to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour!

s especially impressed with how he merged our eclectic musical selections in such a cohesive way. I would recommend him for any event requiring a DJ.

nts that were needed. Sammy also made sure everyone was having a great time out on the dance floor. Couldn’t have asked for a better dj!

to party all night long!! Who plays ACDC, Nelly, and "Brickhouse" all in the same set?! Dance floor was packed the whole night from ages 4 to 80. They were awesome!! The Answer Band knew how to engage the crowd, start a dance off, and host the BEST garter/bouquet toss I have ever been around! Special notes was great at listening to our requests and getting us set up with the right band, at the right cost for our budget! Could not be more thrilled with our experience & will definitely go through them for our events!

le times throughout the day (and the week before!) to make sure that we were happy with everything. He kept people on the dance floor all night and the uplighting added such a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Special Notes/Ogle Entertainment for anyone planning an event!

based on the guests and the time of day. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to him and we feel so lucky to have had him as our DJ! Thanks so much, Sammy!

part of the day for him. We got exactly what we wanted, and he was a happy camper. Josh, our DJ, was great! We were planning from afar, and Ogle made it very easy. We had a couple phone calls with Josh before the big day. He was very friendly and helpful, and I afterwards I knew we were all on the same page so there were no worries for the big day. Josh did a wonderful job with all aspects of the day - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Everything went off without a hitch and transitioned smoothly. He did a nice job of reading the crowd to pick the best song to play next. I certainly see why this group is so highly recommended in the Knoxville area!

essional and newlywed we talked to said that Special Notes was a must have. Jim Ogle met with me before the wedding, and put my mind at ease immediately. Not only was he a terrific DJ for both ceremony and reception music, but he checked with me throughout the night to make sure I was OK, that the timeline was going smoothly, and that I had a drink if I needed it! I did not want to leave the dance floor at my wedding because he was just playing jam after jam! Working with Special Notes was an absolute pleasure and I would recommend them to any couple looking for a completely stress-free and fun wedding!
