Special Occasions- Retta Fagley

Retta did not decorate half of what we asked her to, AND what had already been paid for. She has a very poor eye for decor, is not efficient with getting back to the client, and frankly, is a liar. She lied to my mother and others when confronted about the decor, stating that I told her it was beautiful. When I walked into my reception, I was in shock, and not the good kind of "omg this looks beautiful" shock, but the "omg, where are my decorations" kind... I wan't going to not let it ruin my day so I continued to smile while greeting my guests, all the while I'm noticing all the things that weren't done, and the barren tables without decorations. 80% of the decorations were bought by me, most of which stayed in their boxes. There were various areas that had no decorations, and other areas that had half of what we had discussed. For what was completed, and how it looked, I could have paid a homeless blind man, $50, it would have looked better. ADVICE TO BRIDES: Make sure EVERY LITTLE DETAIL is in the contract, and when your vendor keeps brushing off the many times you ask them to include that information, IT'S A RED FLAG! Don't hire them.. run fast, and run far from them....
