Mike the owner was so helpful when it came to booking Spectrum for the event and DJ Anthony was an absolute joy to have with us on our wedding day. They were incredibly organized, communicative, and enhanced our overall day so much. We highly recommend them for events.

Imagine growing up around one of your childhood best friend's family and their wedding/entertainment business, and that someday they would be an important part of your very own wedding...that is my story. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mike and Spectrum Sounds since elementary school age. Spectrum Sounds exceeded all of our expectations! We used them for the open air Photo Booth, Ceremony Music and Reception DJ/Emcee, we also had a monogram and additional up lights to make our venue look spectacular! We had communication about every detail leading up and it made for an actual PERFECT day! I highly recommend Spectrum Sounds for your wedding DJ and photobooth needs! Adam was our DJ and he was amazing! He kept people on the dance floor the whole night, which was one of the biggest things we wanted out of our wedding. Adam was super flexible with all of the events of the evening, as we would get stuck talking to people and delay everything. The owners were very professional and helpful when we had our first meeting to book with them. Lydia took care of our photobooth at the wedding and she rocked it! She was very kind and accommodating. Spectrum is the best!

I’ve been to several weddings over the years, the ones that stand out the most are always the ones who had spectrum sounds as their DJ company! They do such an amazing job of getting people of all ages out of their seats and having a great time! That’s how I picture my wedding. I want EVERYONE dancing and having a great time… which is why I already booked spectrum sounds for our wedding and it’s not until June of 2024! 😂 ♥️Can’t wait!

We hired Spectrum Sounds for our wedding in May and can't recommend them enough! They are super friendly and professional and everything was communicated clearly prior to the wedding. The day of ran very smoothly and had our guests dancing all night. The photo booth was also a major hit with our guests. The absolute best DJ's in Rochester.

Spectrum Sounds is AMAZING! I can't tell you how many people came up to me throughout the night saying how much they loved our DJ! We used Spectrum Sounds as our DJ vendor this weekend and could not be happier with their services. My wife and I had a great feeling after we finished our first consultation with them. They were nice, energetic, friendly, professional, and established in the wedding industry. All things that you would want from the source of entertainment for your wedding. On the day of the wedding, DJ Tony was on time, prepped and ready to go. He had all of his equipment setup well before the ceremony began. It was a great feeling to know that this was all taken care of and one less thing we needed to worry about during one of the busiest days of our life. DJ Tony brought a lot of energy to our wedding and that reflected onto our wedding guests. Our guests were pumped up and out on the dance floor all night. There were relatives dancing that I’ve never seen dancing before. I credit that all to DJ Tony and his DJ skills. He was able to read the crowd and keep the party going. We also used their photobooth services. Lydia was running the photobooth. She was very fun and friendly! The MirrorMe photobooth was a hit with our guests. They really loved how high tech and interactive it was! Thank you Spectrum Sounds! You made our day seamless and stress-free :)

I can't say thank you enough to Spectrum. We had originally met with another DJ company because they fit our budget better, but we are sooo happy that we were able to switch to Spectrum! It was one of the best decisions that we could have made! Spectrum was able to find a bilingual DJ for us and was even able to fill in last minute when our translator didn't show up (talk about saving the day...thanks Anabelle!!!) They were able to fit in a lot (A LOT) of requests into a short amount of time and they really did a great job balancing everything for us! Mike is awesome and so personable and really helped our dream come true!

Spectrum Sounds went over the top for our reception. They introduced us to an upbeat techno song with great enthusiasm and the right timing to match the music and it was a great start to the night. They kept everyone dancing and moving after dinner and made everything run smoothly. Our DJ's were Tony and Grayson and they did a fantastic job for us. Everything was very easy to set up with Spectrum and they were very personable and accommodating.

Our wedding day was perfect, with the help of spectrum sounds! The whole process was easy and they were more than willing to accommodate our individual needs to make our day special and exactly how we wanted it to be. They always helped calm our wedding planning nerves, and on the big day had an amazing energy level that pulled the whole experience together. We had several compliments from guests, which was nice because although it was our day, it was important to us that the DJ we chose would know how to read a crowd and accommodate our guests. We also rented the mirror me photo booth, which was a big hit and something more exciting/luxurious than the typical wedding photo booth station. We highly recommend spectrum sounds and have no complaints!

They are very receptive to what you are looking for as far as types of music, introductions, special dances, etc. I had a unique request for the processional, and they made it happen. My wedding day was amazing, and I am so happy I went with Spectrum Sounds.

We hired Spectrum Sounds for our wedding and they were, without a doubt, the BEST choice! Michael and Jay were both extremely professional, easy to talk to and they made sure that all of our questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. Jay was our DJ and he kept the party going all night! He really knew how to keep people on the dance floor and he even came out and danced with us! They also offered a "Mirror Me" photo booth that our guests LOVED! It was different than any other photo booth experience I've ever seen before! I could not have picked a better team for our wedding! Spectrum Sounds made everything during the planning process so easy. Everyone we encountered was professional and reliable, but also so much fun. They had our guests on the dance floor all night (sometimes they came out to teach us a few dance moves!) and even helped us plan a few special touches we had during the reception! My fiance and I were guests at 20+ wedding before we had our own. We chose Spectrum Sound even though we were out of town because they were the best. And we are so glad we chose them! My fiance wanted to provide a list of songs for the DJ to use because he has very specific tastes and had an extensive "Do Not Play" list. Spectrum Sounds honored that and really worked really hard to play the songs we liked in a way that made our party really fun. I would suggest them to everyone. Jay was the DJ assigned to our wedding and we were really happy with him even though our first impression of Spectrum Sound was made by Mike.

I could not have found a better DJ for our wedding! Spectrum Sounds was professional, reliable and extremely helpful leading up to the wedding- it was really hard for us to make decisions and my husband and I were so busy with work - they were extremely helpful in providing suggestions & guidance to make it all easier for us. They truly made the wedding planning process less stressful! The night of - everything went perfectly. My husbands family is KNOWN for not dancing (the men that is) yet somehow they got quite a few of them out there!! Jay's personality kept the party going until the location was closing up!

Staff members from Spectrum Sounds acted as both our DJ and as our officiant. We had a very specific vision in mind for both the ceremony and the music choices throughout the night. Mike, Aaron, and Tony worked to make sure our requests were met. We had several guests compliment us on the DJ and musical choices, and they were able to keep guests dancing through the end of the evening. Overall, they were very accommodating and respectful and went out of their way to make sure our night was exactly what we wanted! We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Jay was amazing! He went above and beyond and blew my expectations out of the water! He was even on the dance floor with us dancing the night away! We have gotten so many compliments on how amazing our dj was for our wedding. I can't tell you the number of people who have also told us that they danced so much that they couldn't move the next day! Now that's a night we'll never forget and we thank Spectrum for that!

Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but one thing I knew was who I was going to have DJ and marry my fiance and I. Mike is so easy to talk to and really wants to make your day unforgettable. My wedding was a couple weeks ago and I keep getting compliments on how sweet my ceremony was and how much fun they had with my DJ. Mike & Zach ran the show at my wedding and they were AMAZING! I had a very clear vision and timeline of events in my head for the night of the wedding and they exceeded my expectations. They got my husband and I food during cocktail hour photos, they made sure guests didn't see me before the ceremony, they followed my vision to a T! We were 30 minutes from the end of the night and there were still over 100 guests on the dance floor it was something I had NEVER seen before. We also booked their new Mirror Me photo booth and HOLY COW was it incredible. You can print up to 5 copies out at once, get tons of people in the frame and create a custom background. If you are looking for a DJ to keep the party going and coordinate your day look no further.

We met with Mike to set up our wedding contract and everything went great! Very informative and easy to talk to. We're really looking forward to having his team at our wedding!

Both Mike and Jay are phenomenal people. So easy going while staying completely professional. Never had a doubt in my mind that everything would go as planned. I've had Mike DJ sweet 16 party and he was the one and only DJ I thought of for my wedding day! They exceeded any expectation I had in mind. Cannot wait for my big day with them!

We had a non-traditional event on New Year's Eve, in a non-traditional location (smaller venue), and the DJ started after a small band played during dinner (so set-up wasn't typical either). Not only did Spectrum come in waaaay under in estimate compared to ANYONE else (did I say we married on New Year's Eve??), but our DJ kept the dance floor full all night long. He listened to our preferences while being responsive to our guests. Highly recommend them!

These guys are so great, fun, and organized. I just love the set-up they have online for choosing your songs. This is fool proof. And they have a excellent setup for karaoke with 4 microphones!! Talk about the best wedding ever!

Mike & Tony were MORE than I could have ever asked for ... from organizing the entire bridal party to walk down the isle, helping with entrances , even showing us how to pose for the epic "cake cutting photo" . EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire night Mike and Tont knew just the right mix of music to get everybody dancing and having fun with the perfect amount of requests thrown in there as wel. SPECTRUM SOUNDS was the perfect addition to our wedding . I highly highly reccomend them not only are they fun and bring the party with them but the helped everyone else have so much fun and we're so helpful!! Thank you guys your the BEST!!

Spectrum Sounds does a fantastic job to keep the party hopping all night long! They played the perfect mix of music for every occasion; cocktail hour, dinner, and when it was time to dance! They also incorporated fun games and dances to keep the guests entertained throughout the evening! We still had all of our guests on their feet until the very last song!!

We worked with Mike, who is the owner. He was awesome to work with. He was very patient when trying to help us pick out music to go with the various events at the wedding. He offered up lots of suggestions and just did a great job MCing the whole event. He helped to take care of things that were beyond what his job calls for. He kept music going all night that kept people dancing.
