eechLess to be needlessly rigid to work with. They have you fill out a planning sheet that cannot be changed less than 2 months from your event date - in essence your ENTIRE wedding must be planned to the minute by 2 months out. I ended up finding out that power was not going to be available somewhere that I was told it was, and it was a fight to work with them to change the plan (nearly 2 months from the event). They never communicated to me once during my event, and it turned out that other vendors were running a bit late so rather than ask me how we should proceed they simply stopped performing for over an hour. I argued about this with Scott after the fact, offered to provide timestamped images and videos to prove that they were not playing when they were supposed to be playing, and he more or less just dismissed what I had to say just by asking his performers what they remember. All in all they operate like a glorified jukebox - you pick songs, pay for them to play, and they play until the time is up. If something isn't written on the planning sheet they are COMPLETELY inflexible to work with you during your event. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because when they were playing they did great. Would never work with them again though nor recommend them to any of my friends.

Mari was our coordinator throughout the process and she was the BEST! So thoughtful, accommodating and professional. We were so happy with the entire process!

Hearing them perform these pieces with such grace and precision brought tears to our eyes and made the ceremony even more personal and meaningful. They were professional, punctual, and set up seamlessly in the unique beach setting. From the processional to the recessional, their music elevated every moment and left our guests in awe. They even learned an extra song to surprise my now-husband with as he walked down the aisle and it was much appreciated! The sax player ABSOLUTELY crushed it and stole the whole entire dance floor in the best way possible. He was amazing as was the entire ensemble. Speechless met with us via Zoom twice before our event and ironed out every single detail possible. They were extremely accommodating to our requests and even set up a piano for my husband to surprise me with his own performance! It was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Highly, highly recommend working with them to create your very own perfect music hybrid for your event.

We went with a DJ for our reception and a live musician for our ceremony, and both were very professional and talented at their work! From negotiating the contract to our regular check-in meetings, Scott and team were always available for us. Moreover, on the wedding day, Scott stopped by the venue to personally ensure that the setup was going according to plan! Looking back at our videos, we saw so many happy guests dancing the night away and none of this could be possible without Speechless Music!

The Jazz trio was so much fun at cocktail hour and graciously obliged my last minute request for Mr PC. t beautiful sound and so cool to have that aspect of live music. Not only did it look awesome the sound and vibe was unreal! The venue blew a fuse and the DJ lost power for 5 minutes or so during introductions and the instruments just took over to buy us time to get it working again which was so amazing instead of complete silence. We had a lot of requests and special intro music and they just did such an awesome job executing all of them. I would use them again in a second our wedding was so much fun!!

immediately from Scott, the booking director. We wanted string music for the ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ for the dinner reception. Scott was incredibly accommodating and willing to work with our smaller budget and COVID-19 restrictions. Once we worked out the particulars, we were provided a planning google-doc to outline special song quests, etc. Once we completed the planning document, we virtually met Amanda (part of planning committee) and Felix (violinist and DJ/MC) to go through the entire wedding day – start to finish. We had a string trio (keyboardist, violinist, and upright base) play for the ceremony and then had them move to the opposite of the estate to play during cocktail hour. It was a seamless process thanks for Felix and our venue staff. Our guests raved about the string trio throughout the night. Even the transition from stings to DJ/MC was seamless – again thanks to Felix! Felix is an accomplished violaist and has a talent for event coordination. For the dinner reception, we had MC services and a playlist. We felt we did not need a DJ because dancing was limited (COVID-19). We left the playlist up to Felix and it was perfect. He played quiet and calm music during dinner and provided cues for wedding party speeches. We would absolutely recommend Felix and Speechless to anyone! Bonus: We placed a special request to have our song, Paradise by George Ezra played by the strings as our walk out ceremony song. After our wedding, Speechless sent us a copy of the music composition as a keepsake. Such a sweet touch that made us both feel so valued.

They also played a selection of more upbeat classical music for the prelude before the wedding started. The music was beautiful and you could tell they really care about what they do. We had a black tie atmosphere at our cocktail hour and reception and the musicians complemented the event perfectly. Our guests did not want them to stop playing when the DJ took over!

During the lead up to the event, Julian was always available to talk and was very professional. I very much left the song choices up to him and I was very glad I did, the songs that they played fitted in with the feel of the event so well, and it made me so happy. With so much else going on when planning a wedding it was so wonderful to be able to rely on people and not have to make all the decisions yourself, and be rewarded with the most beautiful music. the crowd beautifully and all our guests kept coming up to us after the wedding to sing their praises (even the music snobs amongst them gave their enthusiastic stamp of approval). We knew we wanted SpeechLess to perform at our wedding right from the start, we only had to play one of their sample videos and we were 120% sure we would/could shuffle our wedding budget around to accommodate this band (this is with way more confidence than I can say for my wedding dress!). We were also blown away by the team’s efficiency with all correspondence. We got an email reply and a list of songs from Scott literally an hour after we hit send on the website form (this was at 1 am?!). The comprehensive (but straightforward) documents and suggested songs for each part of the ceremony (and their reassurance that they could read the crowd for us for the reception) was also extremely helpful and professional, and we loved the personal touch having a band lent to the wedding itself. We loved the band members’ warm and cheerful personalities, it was as if we had our close group of friends playing at our wedding (but at celebrity-level standard!). Their music was beautiful for the ceremony, full of energy for the reception in the evening and for those of us in the ‘I hate dancing’ camp, the full dance floor and empty seats told us otherwise! We definitely recommend SpeechLess without reservation and wish there was another event we could host just so we could hire them again! Thank you so much Scott & Co! :)

Well, I had nothing to worry about because they played the song BEAUTIFULLY and I couldn't be happier with their work. The team was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and I highly recommend SpeechlessMusic. They're a little pricier than other area quartets...but you definitely get what you pay for! :)

genre: Top 40, blues, jazz, hip hop, rock. We had some special requests for our featured songs, and they pulled off Alicia Keys, Adele and James Taylor flawlessly. To my pleasant surprise, we all got down to a fantastic cover of Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz "Get Low" as the final song, and the energy of the night was palpable. Guests are still telling us every time we see them that Speechless was the best live band they've ever heard. Lastly, Scott + team were amazing and accommodating during every step of the process. They are all fantastic!
