Our entire experience with SpeechLess Music was absolutely amazing! From day 1, Scott spoke with me at length about exactly what I wanted, and they went above and beyond. They were professional, communicative, and fun! Our situation was rather unique in that my husband and I, who had already been together for a decade, were finally "officially" blending our families, including 5 adult children. I told Scott that literally everyone at the party was either 25 or 55 and to choose the music accordingly, which is exactly what they did. We had a trio play at our ceremony, which included accompanying our daughters who sang "To Make You Feel My Love" by Adele. They only had a few minutes to rehearse but the musicians put the girls at ease and made it sound as if they had all been practicing for weeks. During cocktail hour we had a jazz trio who knocked it out of the park and created exactly the right "vibe" that I was looking for. We had an upright bass which was the perfect elegant, jazzy, and original touch. My husband asked for a saxophone player and a keyboardist rounded it out perfectly. After planning for a year to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding on the water, mother nature did not cooperate and it poured all day. Once we walked into the reception space, all of that disappointment melted away. The room was even better than I imagined, the band warmly welcomed us, and then the music started, and the party never stopped. In my opinion, the band makes or breaks the wedding, and these guys were amazing. They played everything I wanted and then some. They got the mood of the crowd exactly right and literally everyone was on the dance floor for hours on end. I have never seen anything like it. You would look out at the tables and only a handful of people were left. My 85 year old mother, who has never "danced on her own" as she put it, was the hit of the party and never sat down. Every one of the musicians and singers was incredibly talented and I am a tough critic! Lizje was an amazing emcee, singer, and kept the energy high for 4 hours. At the end of the night we were exhausted but so happy. At brunch the next day I heard nothing but wonderful comments about the music. I have to say my favorite thing of all is that we had a professional videographer who put together an 8 minute "film" about the wedding. He put in so many clips of the musicians and they look like they are genuinely having a great time. Huge smiles on their faces, dancing, laughing, and enjoying being in the moment playing together. Thank you all for truly making this the best night of our lives!

Speechless music was an incredible part of our wedding day! My husband really loves jazz and wanted to incorporate that into our day and I wanted a DJ to MC the dinner and dancing. Using speechless was perfect - we were able to book a pianist for the ceremony, jazz duo for cocktail hour and dinner, and a DJ as an MC and for dancing all through one vendor. On top of that, all of the musicians were wonderful! Working with them was so easy. They definitely weren’t the budget option, but if music is a priority for your event, you won’t regret it!

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Having live ceremony music was important to me, so we hired a trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We got SO many compliments from our guests about the live music!! I am so happy that we made the decision to hire the SpeechLess team for the ceremony/cocktail hour. They were one of our favorite vendors. They made the planning process easy 🙂 My only regret was not having them stay for the reception!! I can’t wait to get our wedding video, so that I can actually hear more of the music that was played on our wedding day. Speechless was 10000% the best choice in music for our wedding! My husband wanted live musicians and I wanted a DJ and speechless was able to help us have both! We had live strings for our ceremony on a mountain and a DJ for the reception. Everything was IMPECCABLE!! The live musicians were so professional and sounded stunning. We received so many compliments on how it made the ceremony feel so elegant on a mountain. The DJ was just wow!! Again so professional and chose the absolute best songs. We could not be happier that we chose Speechless to provide the music for each aspect of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception). We had the string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then transitioned to a DJ Hybrid including a sax and electronic percussion for reception and dancing. The musicians were so incredibly talented, they even learned two specially requested songs to play during the ceremony processional and recessional. The dynamic quartet brought an intimacy to the ceremony and then played well known pop songs during the cocktail hour to get people energized. We were so impressed with DJ Rick’s ability to read the crowd. Who knew that “Since U Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson would be such a hit! Our guests could not stop asking us how we found the band and loved the energy the Speechless team brought to the dance floor (DJ Rick doing a split will forever be remembered!). We could not have picked a music combination for our wedding night. Throughout the planning process, the Speechless team was extremely organized and professional. They truly thought of every aspect when creating their event questionnaire and were able to execute to the plan without any hiccups.

We worked with Speechless to hire a 4 piece jazz band for the cocktail hour for our wedding, and a pianist for the ceremony. Evan and Amanda were super easy to work with through the planning phase, helping us understand the various options, and working with us to understand our vision and preferences. The band was perfect - exactly what we were hoping for to set the ambiance for the elegant jazz theme of the cocktail hour. The pianist even learned 2 custom songs we'd requested for the ceremony! Everything worked out great and would highly recommend working with Speechless!

Our dance floor was packed all night! This was so awesome we did part DJ part band the best of both worlds and it was amazing. My ceremony music with the violin it was just the most beautiful sound and so cool to have that aspect of live music. Not only did it look awesome the sound and vibe was unreal! The venue blew a fuse and the DJ lost power for 5 minutes or so during introductions and the instruments just took over to buy us time to get it working again which was so awesome instead of complete silence. We had a lot of requests and special intro music and they just did such an awesome job executing all of them. I would use them again in a second our wedding was so much fun!!

LITERALLY THE BEST BAND AROUND! We were so fortunate to find SpeechLess for our wedding. We were looking for a band that took their own spin on music and we found just that! Our guests are still raving about our band and how much fun they had dancing the night away! We had a 7-piece band for the reception and a 2 piece string for the cocktail and ceremony. I can't put into words how good they are! The pre-planning process with Amanda was awesome as well. They are very organized and transparent with their planning which we loved. We hired SpeechLess for our string trio. They played during our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour, and they were absolutely amazing! The trio really amplified our intimate ceremony. The violin during the processional really shined and made it that much more memorable. The trio played wonderfully and their music choice was on point. They played pop music with a classy twist. I don't even know where to begin.... Speechless absolutely crushed it! Not only was the performance amazing but the service this team provided during the planning process and even during the event was second to none. We wanted the best band possible and without a doubt in my mind that's what we got. There wasn't a single person not on the dance floor, i mean people were dancing before dinner started... that doesn't happen. The number of people who came up to us and said this was the best band they've ever heard was overwhelming, my parents were actually speechless when they started playing. I want to give the band's founder, Scott, a huge shoutout. What he was able to bring to our wedding was truly remarkable. He played a a key role in making this a day we would never forget. SpeechLess was amazing! We booked the 8-piece party band for our wedding and they really made it a night to remember - two weeks later we have gotten so many compliments and people ask about our band. They learned our first dance song (The Best by Tina Turner) for us and some guests thought at first that it was a recording. We also did the 3 piece string breakout for our ceremony and cocktail hour and had rave reviews. Furthermore, SpeechLess was professional throughout the planning (and COVID-rescheduling) process and were always quick to return our emails and calls. We would 100% recommend going with them!

SpeechLess music is an incredible, professional band to work with. They make planning super easy and extremely talented at what they do! We were supposed to get married at Tower Hill in 2020, but the pandemic shifted our plans so we got married in my parents' backyard in June 2021. SpeechLess was originally hired for a string trio, a jazz quartet and a 6-piece band. We still got married in 2020 but were able to book the band for a new date that worked with all of our other vendors in 2021. All of our guests were so impressed with them! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night which was so fun to see. My husband got accepted to Berklee for percussion and I was a competitive dancer in my days, so our band was super important to us! We can't say enough how awesome they were! They also did excellent renditions of our songs we asked them to learn for our first-dance and father/daughter dance. The one thing that was a bit tough (especially for a covid couple): we told them that we were still going to get married in 2020 and asked to move our services to 2021. We weren't going to have a ceremony anymore, so we no longer needed the strings. When we received the request for our final deposit, it was the same as it would've been for 2020. I asked the coordinator why the strings were still included and received the response of "we didn't have enough notice to cancel the Strings, so you need to pay in full because they already turned down other gigs." Okay, no problem - I totally understand and we were able to request that the strings play during dinner instead. The week-of the wedding, I reached out for the names of each band member to add the appropriate name to the tip envelopes for the end of the night. When I received them, the band members were the same for all three bands: strings, jazz and 6-piece. It wasn't a huge deal, but it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. They didn't turn down other gigs, they were already scheduled to play at our wedding for the other bands. I just wish the coordinator was more honest and understanding. All in all, I would hire SpeechLess again! Amazing band and you won't regret your decision!

My husband and I both felt that having a good live band for our wedding was essential... we stumbled upon Speechless and knew we needed to have them. We worked with Scott and Amanda to create the perfect band and vibe for our wedding. Scott and Amanda were absolutely amazing to work with, they jumped on multiple calls with my husband and I and were very responsive. Lizje (lead woman vocalist) was someone we saw on one of the videos and knew we needed her to be at our wedding... her voice is amazing. We were lucky enough to have her... when we met her she was so sweet and seemed to genuinely love what she did! Aside from the amazing voices by the lead singers, Lizje and Eugene, the saxophonist, Matt, sang as well and had an amazing voice. The whole band was phenomenal and so nice. Other than the amazing voices and instrumental playing... our favorite thing about this band was that they joined our family and friends on the dance floor... they interacted with our wedding and seemed like they were having a good time and not just doing their job. Scott, Amanda, and the band created the perfect playlist, were incredibly organized, professional and kept the party going through the night. Our guests could not stop raving about how good the band was... it was like a really good free concert. My husband and I wanted to mingle with guests, but we found we couldn’t get off the dance floor because the music was so good, the playlist they put together was amazing. We had a last minute request for a custom song and it got overlooked... instead of saying too bad, they had the band record it and sent it to us! Everything about working with Speechless was amazing from their coordination to the execution. We highly recommend Speechless, their team is so talented and will make your wedding day unforgettable!

Selecting a band was by FAR the most important part of the planning process for my husband and I. We both love live music, and wanted that aspect of our wedding to be perfect. We hired Speechless to provide ceremony and cocktail hour strings, as well as the full party band for the reception. At every phase of our wedding, they exceeded all expectations! We got comments from guests all night that they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding ( guests are still calling us to talk about the music!). They were high energy, super talented, managed the night perfectly, and put their own unique twist on every song ( we also asked them to learn a couple of songs and they did an incredible job). They are not your average wedding band! I am so so happy with our decision to hire Speechless! They made our wedding the most amazing night of our life and I cannot recommend them enough.

When we were discussing our priorities for our wedding celebration, we knew that music was at the top. We couldn't have picked a better band! Speechless performed the perfect acoustic instrumentals for our ceremony, and rocked out during our reception. All of our guests continued to rave about the music the next morning at our farewell brunch. Working with them leading up to the wedding was very low stress. Their team was quick to answer any questions we had, and handled themselves with incredible class on the day of. We are so glad that we went with them to help us celebrate, it wouldn't have been the same without them!

I found SpeechLess right here on The Knot and so glad i did. I wasn't planning on hiring string for my wedding but after reading their reviews and seeing their videos, i fell in love. They were so easy to work with and did an amazing job. We hired a string trio that played classic ceremony music and pop strings song for the cocktail hour. SpeechLess was great. My husband and I knew we wanted a band for our wedding right away. What we didn’t know was how difficult it is to find one. We ended up finding SpeechLess on YouTube and immediately reached out. They were quick to respond and so helpful during the whole process. They walked us through every step and were very organized and thorough in their planning. It made us feel very comfortable. As far as the reception goes, everyone kept commenting on how good the band was. They are excellent, professional musicians who know how to carry a room. I would like to start this review by saying that one of my best friends is the lead singer in a rock band and we go to a lot of concerts and musical performances every year. Music is one of my passions! Aside from the ceremony, the most important aspect of our wedding was the live music. I even had our venue change the floor plan to accommodate a bigger dance floor. Needless to say, I was relentless in my research for the perfect band. We decided to hire Speechless, and I’m happy to say, it was the best part of the reception! We chose an eight piece version of this multi talented, multifaceted group of musicians. For our procession and recession they played beautiful instrumental versions of some of my favorite Beatles songs. During cocktail hour and dinner they played jazz with rich melodies that relaxed and loosened up the crowd. By the time we hit the dance floor they were in full dance mode with some awesome all time favorites and current pop songs. But more than just their musical talent, the band knew how to interacted with our guests. The high energy was contagious...from the saxophone player coming onto the dance floor, to the lead singers pumping up the crowd. They all had great personalities and presence. Speechless was so good that my guest were googling them on the Internet the next day. If you like to dance, and you love live music, then you need to hire Speechless! I scored a home run with my wedding reception thanks to Speechless

Julian Spiro and two others came to play during the cocktail hour at my wedding last weekend. We had the Classical trio of a violin, viola and and celo. They played for two hours and were fantastic! The wedding was in a tent on a family farm, and their professionalism and quality of music hugely added to event and I had a huge numbers of compliments on the music. During the lead up to the event, Julian was always available to talk and was very professional. I very much left the song choices up to him and I was very glad I did, the songs that they played fitted in with the feel of the event so well, and it made me so happy. With so much else going on when planning a wedding it was so wonderful to be able to rely on people and not have to make all the decisions yourself, and be rewarded with the most beautiful music. Thank you very much SpeechLess and Julian Spiro for helping create my dream wedding, your professionalism and talent was fantastic and a pleasure to work with.

SpeechLess was incredible! My husband and I both have different tastes in music but add our globetrotting guests into the mix and it was really the whole spectrum. SpeechLess read the crowd beautifully and all our guests kept coming up to us after the wedding to sing their praises (even the music snobs amongst them gave their enthusiastic stamp of approval). We knew we wanted SpeechLess to perform at our wedding right from the start, we only had to play one of their sample videos and we were 120% sure we would/could shuffle our wedding budget around to accommodate this band (this is with way more confidence than I can say for my wedding dress!). We were also blown away by the team’s efficiency with all correspondence. We got an email reply and a list of songs from Scott literally an hour after we hit send on the website form (this was at 1 am?!). The comprehensive (but straightforward) documents and suggested songs for each part of the ceremony (and their reassurance that they could read the crowd for us for the reception) was also extremely helpful and professional, and we loved the personal touch having a band lent to the wedding itself. We loved the band members’ warm and cheerful personalities, it was as if we had our close group of friends playing at our wedding (but at celebrity-level standard!). Their music was beautiful for the ceremony, full of energy for the reception in the evening and for those of us in the ‘I hate dancing’ camp, the full dance floor and empty seats told us otherwise! We definitely recommend SpeechLess without reservation and wish there was another event we could host just so we could hire them again! Thank you so much Scott & Co! :)

SpeechlessMusic did a fantastic job at our recent wedding! We hired a quartet to play our ceremony and cocktail hour -- and they were a hit with everyone. I even requested a song off their usual repertoire as my bridal entrance song. Leading up to my big day I was a bit nervous since there was no way to hear the song in advance. Well, I had nothing to worry about because they played the song BEAUTIFULLY and I couldn't be happier with their work. The team was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and I highly recommend SpeechlessMusic. They're a little pricier than other area quartets...but you definitely get what you pay for! :)

My husband and I are obsessed with SpeechLess. They played during our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and just absolutely blew everyone away. We have gotten a ton of amazing feedback from all of our guests. The dance floor was never empty and they were so much fun! They were also so professional and made sure everything went smoothly during our intro, speeches and dances. Lastly, they did an amazing rendition of Miley Cyrus's Malibu that was nothing short of amazing. They exceeded our expectations (and they were high to begin with)! If you are not sure which band to hire for your wedding, party or event - look no further...you have found THE band!

These guys were absolutely incredible! They are not your typical wedding band - they have so much personality, energy and connection with the crowd. And they're brilliant in every genre: Top 40, blues, jazz, hip hop, rock. We had some special requests for our featured songs, and they pulled off Alicia Keys, Adele and James Taylor flawlessly. To my pleasant surprise, we all got down to a fantastic cover of Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz "Get Low" as the final song, and the energy of the night was palpable. Guests are still telling us every time we see them that Speechless was the best live band they've ever heard. Lastly, Scott + team were amazing and accommodating during every step of the process. They are all fantastic!

I had an absolutely great experience with Speechless. They were extremely responsive to all my emails which is so helpful when you are planning a wedding. I asked the band to learn some new songs for my wedding to come down the aisle and it sounded just perfect. Even better than I had imagined. The entire process was so streamlined, easy, and wonderful. I highly recommend.

After our wedding my husband turned to me and said that he loved every rendition of every song that Speechless played at our wedding. Their renditions of songs are often better than the originals. On top of their musical talent, Scott and team were easy to work with, extremely organized (Speechless provides a list of unique song selections for the key parts of the ceremony and reception) and helpful throughout the entire process. They handled a last minute request to play a song that my husband sang seamlessly. We feel lucky to have had such such a great band be a part of a forever memory.

I was looking for a string trio to play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Like most brides, I viewed many promotional videos searching for the right group to hire. I came across Speechless Music and knew I had found the perfect group for our ceremony. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner and they were really helpful while trying to decide which pieces to play for the various components of our ceremony and cocktail hour. When the time came to play at our wedding I could not have been more pleased with how amazing they sounded as well as their professionalism. I had a violinist and guitarist per Speechless Strings recommendation for my ceremony and cocktail hour music and it was beautiful. It ended up raining on my wedding day and we had to move everything inside which was seamless, they had the amplifier handy. They composed a requested song for me to walk down the aisle to and even sent the orchestration as a momentum. Would 100% recommend.

SpeechLess strings made our wedding day so special! We had a trio (violin, upright bass, and guitar), and they played at our ceremony and cocktail hour. So many people at the wedding came up to me to tell me that they loved the music. Speechless strings was really easy to work with. We had contacted them only about a week before our wedding (we were not great planners), but they were able to move swiftly with the planning and accommodate us! They were even able to play a few special request songs that I made. Would absolutely recommend using them!

Stop what you are doing right now and book Speechless. Look no further for your ceremony and cocktail hour than this band. They totally understood my vision and were so easy to communicate with during the entire planning process. We used the string trio for our wedding and could not have been happier. All night people were telling us how amazing the musicians were. One of my husband’s aunts told us one of their songs even gave her chills. My only complaint was that I didn’t get to hear more! We highly recommend Speechless. They were 110% worth it.

I booked an acoustic duo (violin and guitar) for our intimate wedding ceremony and drinks reception a few weeks ago and I am so glad that I did. We were travelling from abroad and only had 10 guests at a restaurant wedding so initially we were not going to have any entertainment but on a whim I found SpeechLess online and from the moment I found them I knew they would only enhance our day. I loved their music selections and repertoire and from the moment I contacted Scott he was fantastic! The restaurant had reservations about me having live music in our private dining room due to the size. I was able to tease out all of their concerns with Scott and he assured me that the music would work well in the space we had and that if on the day there was anything that didn't work they could adjust it. On the day the guys were just fantastic, true artists and they obviously enjoy what they do. They did a fantastic job with our chosen music selection and had even learned 2 new songs as a special request from us. They nailed both of them! Guys if you ever record either of those songs as an acoustic demo please send them on to us!!! Scott has since sent me the sheet music for our special requests which was a lovely touch and it is great to be able to add them to our memories! Thank you so much for the fantastic job you guys did. The music is one of the things that stands out to me most about the day, it really helped to make it even more special! I would recommend you in a heartbeat. Anyone who has reservations about hiring these guys don't, they are extremely talented and professional, you won't have any regrets if you book them.
