I can’t thank Kelsey with Spell Events enough for making our wedding day so perfect. The entire planning process was so stress free and such a fun experience. Anytime I had a concern or question about something Kelsey was so quick to find a solution and reassure me everything was handled. Picking the right wedding planner is honestly one of the more important decisions in wedding planning process and I’m so thankful I picked Spell Events. Our wedding day was such a dream thanks to Kelsey!

I’ve known Kelsey with Spell Events for many years now, so it was a no brainer, as a fellow wedding industry vendor, that I would chose this team to help me with my own wedding. Macey and Kelsey are amazing. I didn’t have to worry about anything on my wedding day and seeing the reception room for the first time was a memory I will never forget. We a truly thankful for the Spell Events team!

We got married at Sandlewood Manor. Macey was our day of coordinator , she came with a full team and was so helpful. I was very relaxed that day which is was huge for me and my husband and I had so much fun!

Kelsey at Spell Events made my life so much simpler for the entirety of the planning process. She was constantly helping with everything. My fiancé and I literally only had to tell her what we liked and write checks. When my mother passed, by my request Kelsey threw me into the planning process so I had something to focus on. She and her team were worth every penny. I would do it all over again as long as I had Kelsey with Spell Events with me.

Highly recommend!! Macey was a life saver and we do not know what we would have done without her. She was so organized and always quick to respond. Not to mention how incredibly sweet she is; it was clear that she genuinely cared about our big day. Not only was the wedding planning less stressful, but the day of went so smoothly that even I was shocked! We had approximately 120 guests and a lot of vendors so there were a lot of moving parts. She remembered even the tiniest of details (like family drama, personal items, placements, & even re-filling the polaroid camera film) to ensure that everyone was happy. I will 100% recommend using her and spell events to all future brides!

I knew spell events was who I wanted to pick by our first phone call! Their 3 month out planning option was unique from other companies I had spoken to and exactly what I wanted as I do love planning the fun stuff in the beginning! I was first assigned Vanessa who was so lovely, but she ended up going on leave prior to when we were “supposed” to start working together so I got re-assigned to Rachel. I say “supposed” to because I could reach out with any one-off question at any time and both Vanessa before she was out, and then Rachel, were so happy to help & so helpful in answering any questions I had! Rachel was absolutely AMAZING. I cannot count on both of my hands how many times my mom & I said “what would we have done without Rachel.” She made all the things leading up to the wedding so easy, she was ALWAYS reachable and so quick to respond & helped in any way she could every time. If I could re do our wedding over again I so would and I would beg spell events to assign me Rachel again, although I’m sure all of their other ladies are wonderful too. I highly highly recommend spell events and their 3 month out planning option!!

Spell and Kelsey Miller did a fantastic job for my wedding. I did the "in between" package where I still did the majority of the planning but Kelsey helped with vendor recommendations, budgeting and answering all my little questions. Kelsey and Spell took over everything towards the big day and it was such a relief to know Kelsey was on top of every little detail. The weekend of felt flawless and not stressful at all and I know the main reason for that is Kelsey and her team. I could not be more grateful!

I wanted to update to include my post wedding review now that our big day has passed. 11/24/22: I literally don’t know where to begin with Kelsey Miller and Spell Events. Kelsey was the one and only wedding planner we inquired with and there’s a reason why - she’s amazing and so dedicated and passionate about her job. Over the year and a half we worked with Kelsey, her responsiveness, professionalism, and creative expertise blew us away. I had never thought about my wedding or what my “vision” would be and Kelsey knew what questions to ask and how to run with what few ideas we had and make it better than we could have ever imagined. Kelsey truly took every idea we had and elevated it to the next level. We took Kelsey’s vendor recommendations, didn’t think twice, and never looked back and I am SO happy. I truly believe we had THE best team of vendors of all time. The week of our completely outdoor wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - a bought of rain popped up in the forecast which completely derailed our original plans. Kelsey is a calming presence and a voice of reason during chaotic times - she completely replanned our original ideas to accommodate rain plans, gave me several options to choose from, and helped ensure that I felt confident and comfortable in the decisions we were making. She worked with each and every one of our vendors to ensure that our rain plan was just as beautiful and fun for us and went so far above and beyond that I’m emotional talking about it. Not only is Kelsey an amazing wedding planner, but she’s an amazing human and friend. I am jealous of the couples who get to work with and talk to her weekly from here on out - she is one of a kind and I cannot thank her enough for the work she put in to make a day that went 0% as planned into the most amazing and memorable day of our lives. I cannot recommend Kelsey and Spell Events enough - you will not find another team that cares the way they do. 8/30/22: I am still 2 months out from my wedding but felt the need to brag on Kelsey Miller and Spell Events in the event that anyone is on the fence about booking them to assist with the wedding planning process because they are THAT good. Over the last year and a half, Kelsey has been a constant, calm presence in the midst of a crazy time in life. Kelsey provides excellent recommendations, referrals, etc. - every vendor we have booked is because of her. I had never thought about my wedding and working with Kelsey has made it exciting; she really knows how to bring your ideas to life. Kelsey and Spell Events has gone above and beyond and I will truly miss the constant contact I have with her as I would now consider Kelsey a trusted friend. We worked with Kelsey Miller at Spell Events. She did a good job providing us with vendor options and helping us finalize our day-of-wedding timeline with the venue and other vendors so everything would run smoothly. The day of, she was worth her weight in gold in helping coordinate everything and things ran seamlessly. I felt much more confident knowing that Kelsey had everything under control so I could just let things happen and enjoy our big day!!

I cannot think Spell Events and Kelsey Miller enough for playing such a huge role in our perfect day. I hired Spell Events for the 8-week out planning service, and it was the best decision. I had a long engagement so I was able to do a lot of the planning on the front end myself, but Kelsey was such a lifesaver throughout the entire process. Even before she was technically supposed to be helping me, she was always very responsive and provided the best resources and guidance throughout the entire process. My husband and I took the bar exam a month before our big day, and for those that don't know, that's when things start to get really hectic! Kelsey was just incredible. She took all of that stress completely off my plate, and I was able to worry about studying for and taking the bar. I trusted her with all of the final detail craziness, and the trust was so well placed. On the day of our wedding, everything went so perfectly. And come to find out, we had a family member who surprised us with a fireworks show during our wedding. Kelsey was in on the surprise and made sure all of the other vendors were aware as well, and it all fit perfectly into our day. With Spell Events, you're getting high quality service and a group that is VERY highly regarded in the wedding planning world! Forever thankful for Kelsey and her role in our perfect day.

Worth every penny! My fiance and I hired Spell Events to do partial planning and day-of coordination for our wedding and we are SO glad we chose them. We planned a good portion of the wedding but were getting overwhelmed and needed a little support to cross the finish line. Our wedding planner, Kelsey, did just that. She also did a stellar job organizing and coordinating everything leading up to the wedding day. The wedding day really does go by fast, but thankfully we had the chance to really soak it in and focus on each other and our guests. We really don't know much about what happened behind the scenes - which is a good indication that Kelsey and her team did an amazing job coordinating everything. Our day was absolutely perfect. Everything was so beautiful. The day was smooth and seamless. We couldn't have asked for more, all thanks to Kelsey and her team (and also our other amazing vendors). If you are planning a wedding or a major event, you NEED at the very least a day-of-coordinator and I highly recommend Kelsey and the Spell Events team for the job. You will be glad you did.

Kelsey Miller is our wedding planner. We wanted to do our wedding in McGovern Centennial Gardens. We talked to another planner before we were introduced to Kelsey by the venue. The other planner recommended us to spend 20k for a tent to prevent summer heat while we were having a wedding in mid May. When we asked Kelsey, she was like we were totally fine without it. During our initial conversation, Kelsey was able to answer all of our questions and left us great impressions. We chose her over another, and that was not a tough choice. After that, Kelsey was able to put together our wedding in 5 months. Both my husband and I have tough jobs that make us work overtime all the time. I kept telling Kelsey, without her, we would show up to the wedding naked with no guests, no food but only a sad venue. I always believe good people hang out together. Kelsey is so amazing that she introduced us to a listing of perfect vendors, who worked so hard to make our wedding day so meaningful and beautiful! Kelsey, we are more than grateful to you! Kelsey Miller from Spell Events was absolutely fabulous and so easy to work with. She responded to emails immediately and would always let me know when she would be out of the office . She took my budget and ran with it and never once questioned it. She listened carefully to my vision and ideas and gently guided me through how I could make it happen within budget. My daughter and I met with Kelsey for the first time in early March 2020. Little did we all know what was ahead! We managed to keep Rachel's wedding date as originally planned for December but there were numerous changes. Through all of our ups and downs and spectrum of emotions during this very hard year to plan a wedding, Kelsey was always calm, supportive and reassuring with every step. When things were on total lock-down for what seemed like forever, Kelsey continued to be in touch and stay present. What I most appreciated was several weeks before the wedding she took over all contacts with vendors and finalized every detail and let us just be in the moment of this most special day for our daughter. Kelsey and her team also were on top of everything on the wedding day and quietly handled all the details and kept us all calm and let us enjoy the day. I’m not sure there are adequate words or phrases to express how incredible Kelsey with Spell Events is! I planned my wedding pre covid and within months my plan went to absolute poof.. Kelsey was on every call/text/email without me needing to blink twice. We had to change every plan- including our wedding date, and Kelsey guided and made me feel at ease every step of the way. She is intentional, kind, and thought through potential problems and solutions consistently. I can’t recommend her enough!

I don't even know where to start; first things first... thank you so much to Kelsey for being the best wedding planner out there! She is the most sweet and most caring person I have ever met. She was so patient and so organized from the very beginning and through every step of the way leading up to our wedding day! She made sure we stayed within our budget but still met all of our expectations on our wedding day. The day of the wedding she did a phenomenal job being on top of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! Our officiant ended up not being able to show up hours before our wedding and Kelsey did an excellent job finding a replacement fast and made sure not to freak me out about the whole situation as I was getting ready. Throughout the night she kept us right on schedule with our timeline; made sure we ate, made sure we took every photo we had requested and made we had fun! I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey for my wedding. I chose the partial planning package and it was 100% worth it! From the beginning, Kelsey was so helpful and helped me with any wedding anxieties I had. She made sure I stayed on schedule with booking vendors, gave vendor suggestions, and answered any questions I had during the entire process in a timely manner. Our wedding day went well! Kelsey is the absolute BEST PLANNER and dream catcher who made my "modern luxe wedding vision" the dreamiest day I've ever experienced. My wedding was in Houston, TX but I work full time in Atlanta, GA. Planning a wedding from afar without any vendor connections or knowledge where to start with my work schedule would have been a nightmare. However my planning process with Kelsey was seamless, resulting in the most perfect, magical dream of a day. Kelsey has such a talent of REALLY TAKING IN what you express as your vision and bringing it to life. She thinks of the perfect vendor options and plans it accordingly with the budget. She will find you the best deal she possibly can without comprising what you want! She is so gifted in her attention to detail - creating a flow of how everything ties together and making it special and unique. I constantly expressed my preference in things being modernized and "different" without an idea of how I wanted it different - but that was no problem for Kelsey. She patiently listened to all of my requests and really created a masterpiece for me. Kelsey had a timeline for me and made sure I was on schedule for each piece of the wedding. Kelsey researched intently according to what I wanted, gathered vendor/venue options for me, attended meetings in my absence and sent me videos, pictures and quotes. My wedding day was the most relaxing day with zero worries from start to finish. Everyone gave me the advice of "There will be at least 3 things that go wrong on your wedding day. Try not to stress about it too much. You'll be so tired from stress." Because of Kelsey, absolutely nothing went wrong, I had no stress at all, and I had the time of my life. I had a vision of what I wanted, and Kelsey & the Spell team created it and made it even more beautiful that what I imagined! I was in awe when I saw the set up since I couldn't attend most of the meetings. I wish I could get married all the time! I can't wait to see the masterpieces Kelsey and Spell create for other future fabulous brides!!

Where do I even start? I would not have had the perfect wedding that I did without Corley and her team. I am so happy that I found Corley and owe her so much gratitude. She was there from day one, she recommended all of the vendors that I used, and let me say, they were the DREAM TEAM! I feel so spoiled. I had the best flowers, the best band, the best makeup, the best photographer, the best venue, etc. all because of Corley's connections and recommendations. She set up all of our meetings and helped us stay on top of everything. I was never stressed about missing a deadline, Corley and her team kept us organized. There were aspects of my day that were so unique and special because of her vision. She brought to life a wedding that I didn't even know I had been dreaming about, but it was truly the wedding of my dreams! I had 380 guests at my wedding, which is a huge feat, but everything went so smoothly. All of my guests had the best time, and the event was perfect from rehearsal dinner to the Sunday brunch. Corley has become so special to me and I will never forget how much work she put in to make sure I had the greatest day of my life. You could not choose a better planner.

Kelsey did a fantastic job for our wedding! We’re not visionaries when it comes to events... and didn’t always have a good sense of exactly what we wanted, but Kelsey was able to fill in all the gaps for us. Our wedding was perfect - beyond what we’d imagined. Everything went so smoothly, and we so appreciated that she was willing to do anything to make the day a success (we brought our own chuppah poles, and they were wrapped in Saran Wrap to protect from the rain, and Kelsey was literally pulling it off of the poles with us 2 hours before the ceremony). Corley and her team were wonderful! Corley was so patient and responded promptly to all of my worrisome bride emails! Kelsey her intern was a necessity for me! She helped set up a meeting with the caterer. She was able to meet with the florist when I couldn't make it out there. She kept the ball rolling the day of. While Leah her other intern helped at my bridal photo shoot! I enjoyed getting to know Kelsey and Leah a little. I'm very much thankful for Corley's help with picking out my vendors. She knew information that I would not know on my own. I recommend this team for your wedding! :)

I can not say enough good things Spell Events!!!! I was having to plan my wedding long distance and could have never done it with out Corley and Ben's expertise (as well as my fabulous mother). Corley Spell was exactly what we needed to make our daughter's wedding everything we dreamed of. We had already booked the McGovern Centennial Gardens as our venue when I hired Corley and her team. I quickly realized I needed more of her help to pull together all of the details. Her creativity along with her husband Ben's carpentry skills made the head table absolutely beautiful. Spell Events planned and coordinated our wedding on 5/20/17 and I don't even know where to begin with all of the praise I have for them. From the first time Corley and I communicated, I knew we were going to work well together. Her calm, positive, kind demeanor stayed consistent throughout our entire wedding planning process, and I never once doubted the dedication Spell Events had for our wedding. Starting with 1) communication, Corley promptly responded to all of the floods of texts and emails I sent her on a daily/weekly basis, not because she had to, but because she genuinely wanted to. Whether it was a panicked text at 8am or a quick question email at 11pm, she was always there with an educated and heartfelt answer or piece of advice. Second is 2) vendor recommendation. Corley connected us with the absolute best vendors in Houston, and I say that with complete confidence because not a single thing went wrong with our vendors throughout the wedding planning or on the wedding day itself. She knew exactly where to lead us when it came to vendors, and this is HUGE when it comes to planning a wedding in a large city like Houston. Third is 3) organization and planning. Corley provided us with a detailed timeline from the first time we met, and never let us skip a beat after that. From scheduling meetings with vendors, sending itineraries to our wedding party the week of the wedding, to making sure we knew exactly what was going on at all time, and everything in between - her organization and planning skills are unprecedented and this was made clear the entire time we worked together. Forth is 4) the wedding day. Not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day, and that is something almost NOBODY can say! Had it not been for Corley, Victoria, and Ben, this would not have been the case. Everything moved like a well-oiled machine and I am still receiving compliments from guests about how perfect everything was. I could go on all day about Spell Events and how much they mean to us, but I'll wrap things up by saying that these are the sweetest people I think we've ever come in contact with, and it is with great pleasure for me to say that we started this journey as a clients, and ended this journey as great friends. We did not know Corley, Ben and Victoria before we booked them for our wedding, but over the past year and a half, they have become important people in our lives and we are so lucky to have been introduced to them. Not many people can say that their wedding planner became a friend, but I can truly say that I can't imagine life without sweet Corley now. As a Houston bride, it can be overwhelming picking and choosing a wedding coordinator because the options are endless, but choosing Spell Events will be the best decision you make - and that's a promise!

Corley and Ben are the absolute greatest! They have so much creativity and style; they pay attention to the smallest details. They worked tirelessly the weekend of my daughter's wedding and it was truly incredible to watch them bring the vision I had shared with them to life. Spell Events made our wedding day a dream come true. Their creative ideas and attention to detail made the day not only run smoothly but truly feel like we were in a fairytale. Before our photographer arrived on the day of, Corley was staging detailed shots for him to capture as the rest of us were getting ready. They kept everyone calm throughout the entire day, including my sweet mom which is hard to do. We always wanted to have praise and worship before the ceremony to help set the tone. Ben Spell exceeded every expectation we had for that. He sang/played all our favorite songs and it was the most beautiful praise and worship we have ever heard. This team is prepared for anything and have a servants heart. I could not have imagined the most special day of our lives without them.

Our family cannot express how extremely pleased we were with Corley and Ben! Our daughter's engaged was 18 months long. Spell Events were with us every step of the way. Towards the end as we would become anxious they kept calm and had a way of easing our thoughts also. Our daughter had a fairytale wedding and Corley and Ben made it happen every step of the way. I cannot express enough how hard they worked and how wonderful they made this event the best wedding ever and so detailed oriented! We cannot thank them enough!!!

We love that when we think back to our wedding day and look back on pictures they are tied with the photos because of their work. They are truly the best of the best! We love them!

Wow, what an amazing team. Spell Events planned and oversaw my daughters ceremony and reception. Corley's knowledge and experience with weddings really impressed everyone. Corley was over-the-top helpful with every detail of the wedding process. She has so many great contacts and is very knowledgeable of "what and where and how and when" throughout planning any event.
