During the initial consultation, we spoke to Kelsey, and she clearly spoke to the options they provide and helped quickly send over a proposal for event coordination. Kelsey also remained available for small questions via email prior to our event coordination package beginning. Shelby Herrmann was our lead planner and was an absolute dream to work with. She quickly reached out to us once our package was about to begin and set up a time to meet in-person to go over everything we had already completed in our planning process and things that we still needed to complete. That meeting was so much fun and I felt like I had already known Shelby forever. She was organized and came with lots of questions and tasks for us, which was so helpful in keeping us on track with what we needed to do in the next 2 months! Shelby took over communication between our vendors and kept us in the loop throughout, which I appreciated. This was so helpful and allowed me to focus on other things! I truly do not believe that our wedding day would have gone as well as it did without her coordination and high attention to detail! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined and Shelby and her 2 assistants were there preparing and making our vision come to life (and somehow in 3 places at once) from getting ready all the way to our downtown exit! We had approximately 120 guests and a lot of vendors so there were a lot of moving parts. I do love planning the fun stuff in the beginning! I was first assigned Vanessa who was so lovely, but she ended up going on leave prior to when we were “supposed” to start working together so I got re-assigned to Rachel. I say “supposed” to because I could reach out with any one-off question at any time and both Vanessa before she was out, and then Rachel, were so happy to help & so helpful in answering any questions I had! Rachel was absolutely AMAZING. I cannot count on both of my hands how many times my mom & I said “what would we have done without Rachel.” She made all the things leading up to the wedding so easy, she was ALWAYS reachable and so quick to respond & helped in any way she could every time. If I could re do our wedding over again I so would and I would beg spell events to assign me Rachel again, although I’m sure all of their other ladies are wonderful too. I highly highly recommend spell events and their 3 month out planning option!!

She worked with each and every one of our vendors to ensure that our rain plan was just as beautiful and fun for us and went so far above and beyond that I’m emotional talking about it. Not only is Kelsey an amazing wedding planner, but she’s an amazing human and friend. I am jealous of the couples who get to work with and talk to her weekly from here on out - she is one of a kind and I cannot thank her enough for the work she put in to make a day that went 0% as planned into the most amazing and memorable day of our lives. During our initial conversation, Kelsey was able to answer all of our questions and left us great impressions. We chose her over another, and that was not a tough choice. After that, Kelsey was able to put together our wedding in 5 months. Both my husband and I have tough jobs that make us work overtime all the time. I kept telling Kelsey, without her, we would show up to the wedding naked with no guests, no food but only a sad venue. I always believe good people hang out together. However my planning process with Kelsey was seamless, resulting in the most perfect, magical dream of a day. Kelsey has such a talent of REALLY TAKING IN what you express as your vision and bringing it to life. She thinks of the perfect vendor options and plans it accordingly with the budget. She will find you the best deal she possibly can without comprising what you want! She is so gifted in her attention to detail - creating a flow of how everything ties together and making it special and unique. I constantly expressed my preference in things being modernized and "different" without an idea of how I wanted it different - but that was no problem for Kelsey. She patiently listened to all of my requests and really created a masterpiece for me. Kelsey had a timeline for me and made sure I was on schedule for each piece of the wedding. Kelsey researched intently according to what I wanted, gathered vendor/venue options for me, attended meetings in my absence and sent me videos, pictures and quotes. My wedding day was the most relaxing day with zero worries from start to finish. Everyone gave me the advice of "There will be at least 3 things that go wrong on your wedding day. Try not to stress about it too much. You'll be so tired from stress." Because of Kelsey, absolutely nothing went wrong, I had no stress at all, and I had the time of my life. I had a vision of what I wanted, and Kelsey & the Spell team created it and made it even more beautiful that what I imagined! I was in awe when I saw the set up since I couldn't attend most of the meetings. I wish I could get married all the time! I can't wait to see the masterpieces Kelsey and Spell create for other future fabulous brides!!

There were aspects of my day that were so unique and special because of her vision. From scheduling meetings with vendors, sending itineraries to our wedding party the week of the wedding, to making sure we knew exactly what was going on at all time, and everything in between - her organization and planning skills are unprecedented and this was made clear the entire time we worked together. Forth is 4) the wedding day. Not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day, and that is something almost NOBODY can say! Had it not been for Corley, Victoria, and Ben, this would not have been the case. Everything moved like a well-oiled machine and I am still receiving compliments from guests about how perfect everything was. I could go on all day about Spell Events and how much they mean to us, but I'll wrap things up by saying that these are the sweetest people I think we've ever come in contact with, and it is with great pleasure for me to say that we started this journey as a clients, and ended this journey as great friends. We did not know Corley, Ben and Victoria before we booked them for our wedding, but over the past year and a half, they have become important people in our lives and we are so lucky to have been introduced to them.
