Spellbound Ceremonies

last minute to have a mini-mony in October 2021. Montana at Spellbound Ceremonies was an undeniable part of making that happen! Within 6 weeks of working with us (instead of Montana’s typical 6 months), some hard and fast deadlines, and “homework” that brought out sentimental thoughts and feelings from both of us, Montana scripted the most memorable and beautiful wedding ceremony specifically written for my husband, me, and our children. She coordinated to the second with the venue, the DJ, and the photographer so that not a single special moment was missed! The gift she gave us with her attention to detail will be cherished forever! th her questions about us as a couple so she could create the perfect ceremony. She has such a warm and kind personality that it was very easy to open up to her about ourselves. She basically gave us a list of questions to answer about us - how we met, what we love about each other, questions about our families and also what we wanted out of our ceremony. She knows her stuff because she asked us questions that we would not have even thought about but that really came in handy when it came to planning our ceremony. She even made a point to ask if she should stand off to the side during the wedding so the photos would just show the two of us. So thoughtful and definitely not something I would have thought of!! She sent us a first draft of what the ceremony would be and she would let us look everything over, make edits and return it to her - we would do this about four or five times until we all agreed that it was perfect. Everything went very smoothly with writing the ceremony and she always responded very quickly if we sent her an email about little details we wanted to add. She made everything so easy!!! She went above and beyond and answered every single question we had about her ideas - she even gave us lists of possible rituals, poems and music to use just to give us some ideas. We loved that she was able to give us a draft to work with, but made sure that everything was tailored to us as a couple. The ceremony wasn’t cookie cutter and really felt like someone who had known us for years had written it. We loved our wedding and having her perform the ceremony was definitely one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Everyone who attended our wedding said it was a beautiful ceremony. It was filled with our love story, funny moments we’ve had, and what we love about each other as well as the more traditional aspects you would see in a wedding. It was such a joy to work with her and we would definitely contact her again for her services because we know she would do an incredible job in any situation. Thank you again Montana!!!!

Also, her many years of experience brought advice in many areas that were not even related to the ceremony necessarily, but proved invaluable!! It wasn't just the words that she helped us write, but the overall order of events and also the choreography for each person's placement during the ceremony. Honestly, we would have been lost without her help! She also worked will with our families and all of the different personalities and opinions throughout the process. We got many many compliments after the wedding that it was the best ceremony many of the guests had ever witnessed. She also helped my husband with a special surprise that I didn't know about until during ceremony. Wow I wish I could go back and relive it all! :) Thanks Montana - I would recommend you over and over!

your face, but she was like a nice quiet, happy retreat to rest. At first we were nervous because we had the option to spend next to nothing to get someone to marry us. But when we sat down with her, she just felt like family to me (my husband would never say that). I honestly would have loved to spend a day with her. I cannot say enough positive words about her. It made me feel that more people should be like this woman. There was never an ounce of judgement, or unprofessionalism. As a bride, finding the right people, decorations, venue, dress, etc is stressful! Not only did Montana help us write our vows, she wrote the best, funniest, heartfelt ceremony we could have asked for. My father in law said "I've never seen a ceremony done that way, it was really refreshing." And it was! We chose not to do any type of grace, prayers, unity ceremony, etc. We just didn't want to pretend to be people we weren't . The ceremony was still so warm, and looking back and thinking about why, and how that was... it was Tom and I. That was OUR love story, and it was all real and fun. She was SO supportive in every aspect. My dad and the rest of my family don't get along well, and he's not easy to deal with. But she shared stories of her personal life with me that made me feel that I was not alone. She asked questions that made us THINK about each other. And for us (after 8 years), it was nice to remind ourselves and each other that we love so deeply that sometimes we take things for granted. I HIGHLY recommend Montana for your wedding day, if you are looking for a sweet, favorite-aunt, warm person to guide you through your ceremony. She was also more than happy to help with other vendors, or give advice! THANK YOU SO MUCH MONTANA!!!
