Spice Catering Co.

livers excellence in droves. The quality of their food was apparent from the first taste. We arranged to be in Cleveland for a tasting at the Spice kitchen and were treated to a selection of appetizers, salads, and entrees for our wedding. Everything at our tasting was amazing. It was difficult to narrow down to our absolute favorites, but when I tried the beef short rib, I knew it was the one. Much like the tears of joy my wife had when she found “the dress,” I was overjoyed with the beef short rib. It delighted many of our wedding guests as well, while the salmon entree left a similar impression on the fish connoisseurs. The quality of dishes was unquestionable. Furthermore, Spice leans into seasonality when providing a menu, which undoubtedly promotes ingredient freshness and quality. We had about 100 guests at our wedding, most of whom selected one of two fantastic meat entrees. However, we also required a vegan dish, and the vegan entree was not of lesser quality. It was a delicious curry, demonstrating that Spice provided exceptional dishes to every guest. Spice receives high marks for quality of service by catering to every single guest at our wedding’s plated dinner. Pulling off exceptional food and service required thorough planning and terrific communication. From initial emails to a fun and delicious tasting, Spice Catering Co. was attentive to our questions and requirements, which led to a marvelous menu for the most important people in our lives. We cannot thank David and Spice Catering Co. enough for their time and talent serving a wedding reception menu to cater to our foodies’ dreams. We confidently recommend Spice Catering Co. to all wedding couples who are looking to provide their guest with fabulous wedding food. -The Stantons, married July 2024

we booked. We have been receiving so many compliments from our guests about the food & beverages they had on our day!! We recommend everyone to book with Spice - they will provide the best experience!

shley was a joy to work with - she was organized, quick to respond, and very thorough.

care. Spice answered all of our questions promptly and worked closely with us to adjust their offerings to fit our budget without sacrificing quality. All of our guests were very complimentary of the food, but nothing can compare to the amazing job they did with our giant cookie table! It was a huge hit with our guests, and everything looked and tasted incredible. Overall, Spice was an absolute dream to work with, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer that combines delicious food with exceptional service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

ped us plan and coordinate our entire day over the course of several months. We primarily worked with Ashley Reynolds, and she was AMAZING. Ashley answered our endless emails and questions, always responding promptly with patience and enthusiasm. She helped us plan out our entire schedule and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a backyard wedding, so there was a lot we needed to do from scratch; Spice coordinated all of our rentals, set up the tables and chairs, and even moved the chairs from the ceremony to the reception area for us. The Spice team is so organized and efficient, and they made our day run seamlessly. Ashley, Jozef, and the entire team made us and our families so comfortable throughout the entire process. I also need to mention that our wedding was just days after a tornado took out power across Northeast Ohio, and Spice kept their entire operation running flawlessly even though they didn't have power that whole week (including on our wedding day). So many of our guests told us that this was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and our vegetarian and vegan guests really appreciated how delicious and filling their meals were. The appetizers, salad, bread, and entrees were all so tasty, and our friends are still talking about how much they loved the lavender lemonade signature cocktail. We had Mitchell's Ice Cream for dessert, and Spice set up the cutest table for distributing the servings. I could go on and on about how much I love the folks at Spice. Thank you to everyone at Spice for making our wedding day the best day ever!!!

ndors. Spice, and specifically Elaine, were absolutely amazing in reassuring us that there would be no changes in their service, and they were right. Despite working off generator power, the food at our wedding was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We still have guests reaching out to let us know how phenomenal the food was! Elaine, our Spice event coordinator, was a miracle worker. I truly do not think that we could have made it through this wedding weekend without her. Despite all the challenges the wedding weekend posed, Elaine was kind, immensely helpful, and so, so supportive. She reassured us, and followed through on giving us a wedding that we dreamed of. We cannot thank Spice and Elaine enough!

ing food” & the crunchy crudo salad was a major hit. David was super helpful through out the process. My only con was we had to rent all of the napkins/silverware/plates as they only offered vintage. This was a bit expensive but they did all the coordination work for that too. This vendor is worth the extra cost to alleviate your events catering.

e food beautifully and let me take photos to post on my wedding website to help my guests decide what to pick which was incredibly helpful. My guests loved the appetizers and everyone loved the dinner. The staff was incredibly professional and presentation of the food was beautiful - the butter even had herbs and little flowers. The short ribs and the salmon were my absolute favorites. thank you again for an amazing day!

so pleasant, kind and attentive. The food was super fresh and delicious. There was not a single thing we would change.

e very professional, and the communication was excellent. There were a few areas of service that could be improved upon, but they were eager for all feedback. I would absolutely hire them again and recommend them without hesitation. They are by far the best catering service in Cleveland.

at you'll have a delicious, high-quality meal. But you'll also have a beautiful design element and amazing service. Elaine was our event specialist and she was wonderful to work with. She was extremely responsive, helpful, and pragmatic with helping us and our decisions. We had food stations set-up and our guests kept telling us how delicious the food was, best wedding food some had! The staff that Spice has are also very professional and considerate.

e loved that they used local ingredients and they were able to accommodate a lot of dietary restrictions without sacrificing on flavor. Couldn’t recommend enough!

ighly of her. She is professional, thoughtful, and highly capable. We had the chicken and brisket and our guests raved about the food saying it was not only delicious, but that they've never had more gourmet wedding food before. We saw so many plates clean at the end of dinner. And oh my gosh, don't get me started on the homemade focaccia and butter-heaven!! The service staff were all very friendly and efficient, getting out all of the guest food quickly. If you are looking for a catering company that you can put 1000% confidence in to deliver on your wedding day, go with Spice!!!

ful answering any questions and we fully trusted them with the night. the bartenders knew what people were drinking and had it going as they approached the bar. really just amazing to work with

hey've ever had. The salads and veggies even got tons of compliments and those are typically not even the star of the plate...unless Spice is your caterer, I guess. Nicole even left us with our own personal hors d'oeuvre plate at our seats which was amazing because we didn't have enough time to eat any during cocktail hour. The attention to details, communication, high quality food, and kindness from every Spice team member was everything we wanted in a vendor and more. We would book with Spice all over again. Thanks for everything, Spice and team!

le planning process so easy! Not only did David help us pick out our menu, but he also helped coordinate all of our rentals for tableware and linens as well as any extras! His communication was top notch and he always responded with any question I had in a timely manner. David and the Spice team really helped eliminate so much stress for my husband and I during our planning process, they really are a one stop shop! Not to mention the food from the appetizers to the main course is simply OUTSTANDING! Would highly recommend to other couples looking for a catering company, you honestly don’t need to look anywhere else because Spice is it!

we got compliments all night long. The service was also phenomenal! The whole staff supported us through the whole planning process and night. They are all incredibly kind and friendly. We also did the drink package with fall themed drinks. Those were a huge hit and so tasty and fun. Lastly, they didn’t just bring food, they rented all of the tables chairs etc and helped set up everything. It was so great to know the presentation and set up was in good hands and my family did not have to worry about any of that part before or after the wedding. Thank you Spice Catering!

was amazing. The tasting was so intimate and we brought 4 guests with us! Everyone had a blast. On wedding day we got so many compliments on the food and the signature drinks! Spice was reliable and the food was incredible. Thank you Spice for doing such an amazing job and helping us create the wedding of our dreams!🤍

Spice is AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, DELICIOUS and worth every single penny! Everyone of my guest stated that the food and cocktail hour with them was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. They even made me a plate of chicken fingers and mac and cheese because I am an adult baby. The staff was divine and helpful and so fast at their jobs. SO MANY compliments on that as well. They go above and beyond. Thank you so much Spice.

have gotten SO many compliments on our wedding food, with tons of people telling us that it's "the best wedding food they ever had." I can't recommend Spice enough. They worked so hard to make our day perfect, and it truly was!

od they'd ever had. We really appreciated the commitment to sustainability, this and their offerings for those with dietary restrictions were the main deciding factors when choosing Spice as a caterer for our wedding.

edding were attentive, pleasant, and professional. The food was outstanding. My daughter (the bride) is a vegetarian and she didn't want the standard vegetarian options, which Spice was able to deliver! Everything was high end and not your typical big group fare. I would highly recommend them.

. We loved the thoughtfully and locally sourced ingredients, beautifully complementary flavors, gorgeous plating, and the easy accommodation of dietary restrictions. Everything was delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the greens, which is saying a lot since I am a southern gal. We could not be happier with Spice!

The food was outstanding! Spice made our day!!!

ok our ideas and improved upon them. It was such an easy planning process. Ashely was like talking to a friend when discussing questions and concerns, even with all my silly questions. When we arrived for the day, everything was set up perfect. The team was amazing, so friendly, professional, and attentive. They were able to make all the drinks we wanted, and the food was exceptional. Not like typical boring wedding food, it was delicious and reminded me of eating at Spice the restaurant.

and team were very easy to work with, very patient and very helpful! We can’t recommend Spice enough (in fact, they will be catering another daughter’s wedding in September- can’t wait!).

e got married in September of 2021 and we had a wonderful experience with spice catering. The appetizers were perfect for cocktail hour and our meals were amazing. I had such a hard time picking between the chicken, beef or vegetarian option because they were all that incredible. I wish I could hire Spice to cook for me every day. They also presented a good looking dessert table but all my guests got to it before I could! They assured me everything was delicious though.

he service staff was - every bar tender and server - and pitch perfect every bite of food they had was. No one had to wait in line for the bar, or have a cold bite of food. Spice knew every in and out of the venue and made it all look incredibly easy. I will be enthusiastically recommending this team to anyone who cares to ask. ~ Lexi Norvet, November 2022

inens, portalisa setup, bar, all of it. And then they were graceful and flexible on everything thrown at them. Random relatives show up? Check. Bar choices as we're dancing? Check. Just really competent, professional, and NICE people to work with.

as amazing. Truly the best vendor we worked with throughout the whole time!

ce's delivery was exceptional. The staff was friendly, helpful, and beyond efficient. Our guests raved about the food and we couldn't agree more! Entrees and presentation were second to none. The entire process was seamless and the food was delicious! Thank you Spice Catering!!

attention to detail, creative creations, delicious seasonal recipes and expert chefs combined with superb customer service all make for a 5 star and beyond reputation. Look no further and book with Spice Catering now!

florist commented on how helpful and friendly the Spice staff was to her! Although Spice was a little pricier than some of the other caterers we looked at, the main reason we went with Spice was the design packages they offered. When setting up the venue Spice staff incorporated our wedding style and worked with the florist to design the venue. We were over the top pleased with how great everything tasted and looked. The extra cost was well worth it!! We would HIGHLY recommend Spice and Britney K. for any event!!

y have ever had! Jess went above and beyond in everything she did to create an atmosphere that was warm, welcoming and down to earth, really understanding how we wanted the space and meal to feel - like a big family dinner! We had an intimate wedding of 20 guests and the Spice Team coordinated every detail well beyond the catering - from table florals with Urban Orchid, rental and delivery of the chuppah from Borrow, and pies from Rood Food. The Spice Team are lovely people to work with and we couldn't have asked for better humans to spend time with the evening of our wedding. We look forward to eating more dinners at Keep the Change and attending Plated Landscapes at the farm! Everything Spice creates is beautiful and delicious - book them for your event!

ce unique - think bucolic, rustic, farmhouse that just about works in any setting you can think of! All around super easy to work with and will respond quickly!

xperience, walking us through the contract, and just being downright friendly to work with. So many of our guests commented that it was the best food they've eaten at a wedding - or ever - and we couldn't agree more. They truly provided an exquisite dinner from the food to the service and we can't recommend them enough!
