SpiceCubed Catering

We used SpiceCubed's in-house services, which allowed us to rent a space for the reception including tables/chairs/dinnnerware, have a beer/wine bar, have service that included minding the tables, cutting the cake and set-up and tear-down, all with the most reasonable price we were able to find. The event manager was very patient with me and with our coordinator who had some lofty decorating ideas.(Note: if you're going to do any of your own decorating, make sure it can be accomplished within a couple hours before the event. However, SpiceCubed also has a lot of their own decorating they can do for you). The manager was also very receptive to my need for extra organization and she helped me make sure our schedule of events was reasonable and helped me feel confident that things would go smoothly. The service was top-notch. Everyone was dressed professionally and the servers were very attentive while still remaining unobtrusive. We had a buffet line for dinner and they were very good about making sure there was always enough food, such that even when my cousins went through the line rather late, they weren't having to scrounge or make do with what was left. The food was quite good; the only complaint that was relayed to me was that some of the flank steak was a bit tough. We picked one of the lower-priced packages, so it was basic fare, but it was still treated with care. Again, even with the appetizers, the trays were kept full so it was never a worry that anything would run out, which had been a fear of mine. We were treated kindly and respectfully throughout the process. There were very few restrictions for what we could and couldn't do in terms of decorating, music, etc. And for the price we paid, I feel we got a really good deal considering all that could be included with it.
