This Spicy Moon locations may be smaller than the other two but their food is just as delicious.
By this point I’ve apparently visited the other two Spicy Moon locations multiple times, but it was our first visit here that I can recall.
They ...
have around I think 10-13 tables (that are combinable to fit larger parties), in a thin long restaurant space.
Me, my wife, and our friends all enjoy Spicy Moon despite most of us NOT being vegan. Because the way they make their dishes is even more flavorful than many other non vegan Chinese restaurants.
My go-tos here are similar:
- Mapo tofu, a classic Chinese dish that I love looking for and trying anywhere I go. It’s soft tofu, a savory spicy bean sauce, and at Spicy Moon they offer the option of adding Beyond Beef as well.
- Dan Dan noodles: the way they make it, the noodles are delightfully chewy, the sauce is savory with a hint of sweet and a heat that builds faster than you’d expect.
Their vegetables are great. They have a wide variety of drinks both alcoholic and not.
And almost every time we visit, we order more food to go because we’ll want to have it again later in sad New Jersey.

Amazing vegan food. Great if you are vegan or not. I don’t think you would be able to tell the difference ! Very flavoursome. You won’t regret a visit here!
