Josh was amazing! We had him DJ for our Texas BBQ themed welcome party and he totally delivered. He understood our goal for the music did an incredible job playing something for everyone. It was the perfect kick off for our wedding weekend!

I can’t say enough about Josh. I’ve worked a few weddings and special events with him. One of his greatest strengths is “reading the room”. He knows the audience; knows which music will fit the crowd best. He knows the music so well, he knows when to turn it down at certain parts for the audience sing-a-long, which of course just makes the crowd even happier! He can also emcee; keep the party going. Follow a timeline from ceremony to closing out the reception. As an event planner, I can tell you, I’ve worked with many DJ’s/emcees in the event/wedding business. Josh/Spin My Event will be my go-to if it’s my choice. He’s pleasant, fun, professional.

Josh was an amazing vendor to work with for our wedding! He sent out a planning document which helps outline reception and songs you want played for first dance, cake cutting, etc. a lot of things were listed that I hadn’t even thought of! He kept our dance floor full the entire night and was great with timing and announcements. He also has playlists to look at if you need any ideas for songs. A very organized and professional vendor. Highly recommend working with him!

Josh was awesome throughout from planning to execution. He helped with a ton of details with our prep, offered his expertise to help make our ceremony and reception as special as we hoped. He also did an awesome job filtering through many requests from our guests, parsing our the lame ducks and mixing in the winners while ensuring we heard everything we wanted to. Josh/SPiN DJ Entertainment KILLED IT! Josh zoom called with us during covid to walk thru everything and answer questions. His outline and playlists were very helpful! A DJ was never in the books for my wedding, it was never something we considered. Everything changed when I spoke with Josh. Josh is very pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. Josh was our DJ for our event. We interviewed a lot of DJ's and from the first time we talked he was professional and put us at ease. We knew some of what we wanted but he helped us get the rest of the way by providing us with a great flow for the evening. When there were times that we forgot the schedule or didn't know how to proceed he gently got us back on track with non of the guests being wise to it. Even when we called a audible for walk up songs during toasts he was on the ball and made it happen in minutes. I would have paid a lot more for his service if I knew what I would be getting from him. If you are looking for a DJ I would highly recommend Spin DJ to every one looking for a DJ.

Can’t say enough good things about Josh! He met with us way in advance and gave us the rundown which put both of our totally ignorant minds at ease for the wedding day and day of he did not disappoint! We played games, everyone was dancing and he was very flexible when our timeline changed due to a overly difficult bustle!

Me and my husband got married about 2 weeks ago and I was so happy with the entertainment from these guys. Josh did an amazing job at getting everyone involved and I recieved so many compliments on our DJ. It made our wedding day that much more special! All the equipment was provided and I didn't have to stress or worry about anything.

We had a wedding on September 10th and we hired Josh. Music was very important. I gave Josh my playlist and then he weaved in his great songs for 4 hours of music. 2 hours of pre-game and 2 hours of dancing. Fantastic. Josh also used his expertise to handle the flow of the reception. From dinner, first, dance, bouquet. He was on time, prepared and professional. Hats of to Josh and his team.

Spin My Event did an amazing job DJ-ing our wedding at a new venue in Frisco, TX. They were flexible, listened to all of my wishes, and made the day really special. Josh was our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! I planned my own wedding and was very laid back and not very specific with details. Josh was very professional and experienced and took care of things that I didn't even think about. He made sure the pacing of the wedding was just right and was great at reading the crowd for perfect music selections to keep the party going. People were dancing the entire time and weren't ready to leave at the end of the evening. We had a backyard wedding in Dallas and he met with me at the venue before the event at no additional cost. He was so easy to communicate with and was super easy to get a hold of--you knew that he would always quickly reply to emails, texts, or phone calls. His equipment was high quality and we paid extra for the lighting package which made for some amazing pictures. Most importantly, Josh made our wedding seem like that was all that mattered that day. He wasn't occupied on his phone or distracted in any way. He truly looked like he was having a blast while he was working. I would highly recommend this company for your event!

Spin DJ Entertainment is the BEST!! Josh our DJ is professional, courteous, and is very detailed. He went above and beyond what is normally considered to be done by a DJ. He's great at keeping the wedding moving along, getting your guests up and dancing, and best of all keeping everyone entertained by avoiding those awkward silent moments, he was a fantastic coordinator! OHH MY GOODNESS! It's been a month since our wedding, and I keep meaning to post how freaking AMAZING Brian was! He works with Spin My Event, and he is truly one of a kind. My husband and I met with him at Starbucks MONTHS before the wedding, and we knew we wanted him! He was professional, friendly, down-to-earth and passionate about what he does. Not only that, but from that first meeting - he remembered us and everything we talked about and said we wanted! He seriously set the tone for the entire night. Not only did he take the time to chat with me on the phone before the wedding once - but twice! He made certain that every detail was covered :) We went through how the entire ceremony and reception would flow, and he constantly asked my opinion and what I truly wanted. He let me take charge, but then whenever I needed help or an opinion - he was right there! He actually is the one that chose the song that I walked down the aisle to. It was the most perfect song, and ceremony ever! Before the day of my wedding, I was NOT stressed at all. I was comfortable and excited because I knew he would take control. After the wedding, pictures took a little longer than normal but he kept the crowd occupied and happy. No one even knew! He was AWESOME to work with. I would (and will!) recommend him to anyone and everyone I meet. He made Chris and I feel so excited and calm about the entire process. In fact, I let him just take complete control over the songs to play before the ceremony and after because I had enough faith that he knew what he was doing. If you are looking for a DJ for anything - Brian Ruth is your guy!!! He's been doing this long enough and is a TRUE DJ that he knows what he is doing. Chris and I are soo grateful for him, and blessed to have met him throughout this entire process. Not only did we luck out with a DJ, but we consider him a friend now! Josh was our DJ and Chase and his wife (who has a beautiful name and all of a sudden I can't remember it) were our photographers. All three had wonderful personalities that made our potentially super stressful day so easy and relaxing. We had full confidence in them the entire day with regards to photos and DJ-ing the reception. They provided fun and new ideas to get guests involved at the reception, as well as awesome music choices for the dancing! (We gave them a short list of songs and let them work with extra fillers based on our suggestions.) All in all, I couldn't have been happier.

When we first started looking for a DJ we knew we wanted someone fun and personable to keep the party moving. We found just that in working with our DJ, Brian Ruth. Brian was great!! Brian stayed in contact with us the months leading up to our wedding and he made it a point to have several meetings/calls to discuss how we wanted the evening to go, our music preferences, what he could do and what he suggests, and really just getting to know us. He was VERY well prepared by the time the big day was upon us. He made sure we both felt very comfortable with him being the "leader" of sorts for the evening. Brian was a very fun DJ. He kept the party moving, and kept things on time, incorporated some very unique and fun"games" into the evening, and made sure everyone was having a good time. Brian was professional and was exactly what we wanted in our wedding DJ. We had our wedding in a fairly large venue, which he made sound great, and also had an outdoor ceremony which he controlled to music for as well and it was perfect. Josh was our DJ and lighting specialist from SPiN Entertainment! :) Chase Day was our spectacular photographer through it all! (engagements, bridals and wedding day) WOWZA! I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding day! I can't begin to explain how stress-free and easy my wedding day was- all thanks to Chase and Josh working together and with us to create a timeline that was perfect for our day! The reception was flawless- it's like they had their own way of communicating without talking and kept us on track all evening! Not to mention the dance floor was packed all night long! I've never planned many events so like most brides I have to go off of reviews and hope for the best. Luckily the reviews I read about Chase and Spin DJ Entertainment were spot on. They were so easy to work with and helped me throughout the whole process by making an itinerary and making sure the events were on time and well coordinated with my other vendors. For our wedding, they provided DJ services, videography, lighting, and even went above and beyond and helped with our reception room flip and even our photos!! Spin DJ Entertainment took care of our DJ and videographer and we couldn't be happier with both of the services! Our DJ, Leo, had to set up a second spot for sound at the last minute and he was totally prepared to get it done quickly! We were able to talk before the wedding and I really felt he made an effort to understand our style in music and how we wanted the night to go. We had two videographers who we really enjoyed throughout the evening. My only suggestion to a bride would be spend a little extra for the long video because they are amazing!

So many people to thank in this review for incredible service. I booked a DJ, photobooth, and lighting through Chase and he was there to answer every question I had almost immediately. He not once made me feel like he was just trying to make a "sale" as many of the other vendors I contacted did and seemed to genuinely care about our day and our vision for what we were wanting. I probably asked a thousand questions but he was always kind and professional. For the DJ I was wanting more of an "emcee" and less of someone who was just there to play music. The DJ that was given to me was Brian Ruth and he did not disappoint! All I can say is wow! He was very professional throughout the planning stages and helped my guests have an amazing experience during the reception. He guided my guests throughout the night so they knew exactly what was going on. He played AWESOME music based on a very limited selection I gave him of what my husband and I enjoy. We let him play a few games at the reception with us (newlywed game, dance contest) and our guests just LOVED every minute of it. He kept everyone engaged and there was not a dull moment. I seriously can't thank him enough for the unforgettable experience we had. Several of my guests came up to me during and after the reception to compliment him. I also had a vendor tell me how much they enjoyed it as well. He also provided the lighting for us which just made the room "pop". It was beautiful. Tagmebro was the photobooth company we were provided and they also did a great job. The attendant was even nice enough to re-boot up the booth so that my husband and I could use it after the reception had ended since we were so busy and forgot! I wish I could remember his name but he was so nice to accomodate us and the book they gave us with all of our guests pictures and notes was so sweet. Again, thank you Chase, Brian, and Tagmebro for helping make our wedding everything we dreamed of!! It was a magical night and wouldn't be possible without all of you! Leslie

Dan was our DJ from Spin and he rocked our wedding! The dance floor was full the whole night. He played a good mixture of our requested country music and the dance music that kept people on the floor. He read the group well and everyone loved the mix played! Some of the songs requested were played during the dinner instead of dance time so be sure to clarify what you are asking for. SpinDJ is so easy to work with. After we sent our initial request, Chase set us up to meet Dan before booking him to make sure he was a fit for our wedding. The online payment process is easy and reminds you when something is due soon. Very well run, professional company. Dan came up to us after the wedding and told us how much he loved our party. We hired Spin Dj Entertainment for my daughters wedding reception. Chase Day was the DJ that came out. He was on time and set up way before the reception actually started. He had the evening organized and made important announcements along the way, to keep the reception moving. He played songs that kept the dance floor full! At one time he thought the dance floor was clearing out so he did an anniversary dance, which kept guests engaged. We had multiple people say this was the best reception that had attended, which in part is due to the DJ! I would recommend Spin Dj for any important event in your life!!

After doing hours of research, I initially contacted Chase to inquire about DJ services. I never really thought of myself as a "Bridezilla", but I really put Chase to the test by asking him about a thousand questions and still not being able to make a decision. After our initial meeting, I didn't contact him for several weeks after, and he was still extremely gracious and professional and wanted to know if there were any of questions/concerns I had. We ended up also booking their photobooth services, and my husband and I could NOT have been happier. Chase and his brother were AWESOME. They brought great props for the photobooth and I think almost every one of our 300 guests used the photobooth (more than once). Chase did an excellent job with the music.. our dance floor was packed all night! I had a "must play" and a "do not play list", and he stuck to them to a tee. I did not have to worry about anything all night, and it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend hiring Spin DJ!!!

I didn't get a chance to use SPiN DJ as a DJ at my wedding, but I did for photography! I got married on 8/15/2014 and Chase was one of our photographers. He did a wonderful job through the whole process! He was very friendly and approachable, and I always felt like he sincerely wanted to give us the pictures we had always dreamed of. Throughout the ceremony and reception, he was constantly running around taking pictures. He captured every moment wonderfully! He even followed the guys when they snuck outside to take more funny pictures during the ceremony, which was a great surprise. During the wedding party pictures, he spent most of the time taking pictures of the guys. They really enjoyed having him and felt completely comfortable with him. He was extremely relatable, and told them each what to do and where to stand for pictures. He did the same with me and my husband, even down to how to hold the knife correctly to cut the cake! We really appreciated his leadership and attention to detail. The pictures he took are beautiful! He truly went above and beyond at every step of this process. I would highly recommend using Shoe Box Photography!

Bobby with SPiN DJ Entertainment was incredible! It was SO easy to communicate with him prior to the wedding day, and he was an absolute joy to work with! We had to plan our Dallas wedding from DC, and Bobby Skyped with us before we booked so we could chat with him "face to face". SPiN DJ Entertainment is VERY affordable compared to other Dallas DJ's, and I honestly could not be happier with how the night turned out. We gave Bobby a rather long list of songs to play throughout the night, and I think he incorporated all of them! We even gave him a do not play list and he kept to it :) Our entire wedding was dancing the whole night! He always played the PERFECT song right after another. He was flexible with set-up times and is such a nice guy! GREAT experience with this company, I highly recommend them!

Chase was very helpful prior to the wedding in helping plan our reception and choose perfect songs for the dance (and skip the not so perfect songs). During the reception, he did an amazing job keeping the guests entertained playing the best songs, was able to handle the overbearing wedding planner from the chapel, and keeping the evening going. We would definitely recommend SPiN DJ for anyone else's wedding or event.

I would say that Josh and Spin My Event DJ services are a good vendor, not great. I felt like I was the one initiating contact with the DJ as opposed to the other way around. I had to correct the songs he had downloaded because they were not the ones I had asked for. During the ceremony the mics were not working and we did not get any of our vows on video. Josh was very upbeat during the reception and tried to keep the guests entertained but overall I would just say the service was good, not great. I was a bride on a budget, but I also feel like I could have had a friend do it for less and received the same results.

I booked with this company because of the reviews I read about the personal attention and the assurances I got from Josh when I booked that our wedding would be a priority. I specifically told him I signed this contract before I even signed the venue contract with Cowboys Stadium because this was the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of the event. Dan is a great guy but to be honest, I could have had a friend sit at a table with a laptop and provide the same service. I made it very clear I wanted a host, not just someone who say behind a table. Cowboys stadium has an amazing AV system so I feel I could have hooked up an ipod to their system and had the same service. I specifically told Josh I booked the DJ first because I did not want that. I have followed this business on FB and was excited because I see how "into it" some of their DJs are posting pictures and comments and truly being a host. I did not get that level of service

We could not have picked a better DJ. Chase and SPiN DJ Entertainment were the best people for the job. He was there early to set up and coordinated the entire night. He was consistently checking with us and letting us know what was coming and how we were doing on time. He kept people on the dance floor all night. He made sure to not allow every single request and kept playing what we wanted and it couldn't have been more perfect. I highly recommend Chase, very professional and made sure the guests knew when and where to be and was an excellent communicator. If you go with someone else, you will truly be missing out on the best. Thank you Chase and SPiN DJ Entertainment! They also are partnered with a green screen/photo booth company that we used as well and was a huge hit!

We saw SPiN DJ at another wedding and instantly knew we wanted them for our own. We used SPiN DJ for DJ and Videography services and were definitely not disappointed! Chase did our video and Bobby was our DJ. They were both so in tune with our wedding the entire day and did not skip a beat. If you go with anyone else for your wedding entertainment you are making a huge mistake! These guys are are AWESOME!
