Exceptional service at an affordable price. This DJ did a great job listening to my song request and creating a personalized playlist. He knows how to bring people together on the dance floor. I highly recommend this DJ!

DJ David of Spin Majic DJs was an awesome DJ. We hired him for our wedding in May 2024. We could tell that he has been doing this for over 20 years. David had very good communication leading up to the wedding. We met with him a few times over the phone to discuss the order of events for our reception, and our music tastes. He was always very timely with answering any questions we had. He gave us access to a planning website that we could input our music playlists and our order of events. The website was super easy to use and very well organized. On the day of the wedding, he really executed the vision we had for our ceremony and reception well. We could tell that he had paid extra attention to what we wanted when we met with him. Also, we have an easy to mispronounce last name that he nailed perfectly. During the reception, the official dances flowed very nicely, and once the dance floor opened, it was packed until the very end. He kept good command of the floor and read the crowd well to make for a super fun reception. He not only worked well with us, but worked very well with our coordinator to make everything go smoothly. We would highly recommend David and Spin Majic DJs.

David was our DJ and officiant for our wedding and he did an absolutely amazing job! As our officiant, he listened to our wants and made it happen. He got to know us a little more which was very nice and made it more personal. As our DJ he did a great job! He knows how to read the room and keep the fun going! Any requests we made, you always found a way to make it happen! I highly recommend David for his services. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and that makes a huge difference!

If you want a short and simple review, David is great. Great at communication, super easy to work with, and clearly very passionate about his profession. I would absolutely recommend him, and if I have an event that I can hire him again, I will. If you’re looking for more details, we hired David as our DJ as well as our officiant. DJ: Music can be stressful, but David clearly knows what he is doing. He has a portal that has SO MANY suggestions and can be viewed by different categories (genre, decade, top 100). He also has a document listing any song that has been requested, with the quantity of times…which helped us make sure we weren’t missing anything. For the big day, David arrived early for set with all his equipment. He was obviously so sweet and professional. We gave him suggestions, but ultimately asked David to just match the vibe and he absolutely did! From our prelude music to our last dance David was great! Officiant: We are so grateful David officiated our wedding. He sent us a previous script, and helped us personalize it to us. It really was a great ceremony and we received a lot of compliments. Oh and he knows to step aside during the first kiss! If all of that didn’t sell you, let it be known other vendors complimented David. So not only will you enjoy working him, but your other vendors will too!

We had a very family oriented wedding and he accommodated it so well. Played a great variety of music and was on time for everything. We hired Spin Majic DJs for our outdoor wedding in Dickinson, Texas. David was FANTASTIC!! He knows how to personalize the wedding day music to fit the couple's personality. We honestly could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. David’s pricing is so reasonable and his ability to read the room and know what the crowd will like makes me wish he was the DJ for every event I’ve ever been to. My husband and I were so happy with how well he incorporated our preferences, helped with the flow and schedule of the night and with his preparation weeks before the wedding. 100% recommend.

DJ Dave was both the officiant and DJ of our wedding and I would not have had it any other way. Trust me, the convenience of having someone do both is GREAT! Dave met up with my husband and I to truly get to know us in order to ensure our vows and music were reflective of us. I had very specific songs that are hard to find that I requested to be played during the dinner and Dave not only found all of them for me, but the quality of the songs were incredible. He is very flexible to any changes you would like, but has the professionalism and experience to know what works best for the wedding. He kept our dance floor popping by reading the room and determining what songs should be played next. He does not talk over the music, and gave cues when needed. I loved working with him alone rather than working with a larger group.

He has an amazing pre event checklist that helped us be organized and ready for our wedding celebration!! During the party he kept us on schedule and was flexible with our timing when things needed to be adjusted! Great playlist and he had great energy!

Exactly what we wanted!! David was amazing! He communicated with our caterer which made communication with our guests seamless. He listened to our requests and respected what we wanted even though it was a little non traditional. He followed the vibe of the crowd and kept the party going! David made my wedding day amazing he even officiated our wedding and did everything in Star Wars down to what he said because that was our theme. DJ David was beyond my expectations. He was selected as our DJ as part of my venue package and I could not have been happier. His website is very detailed and easy to follow, which allowed me to not only search a vast play list of songs, but also listen to some songs through the site that gave me some inspiration. I was pretty open with song selections and only gave about 30 or so songs on my "must play" play list. All other songs were chosen by DJ David and I can't boast enough how he kept the party going all the way through the night. I also greatly appreciate how he kept my coordinator and photographer in the loop for any changes to the schedule. Somehow, our wedding managed to be ahead of schedule and it is in part thanks to DJ David's planning.

Our experience with David was amazing, from our first meeting together to the very last song of the night! He is professional, flexible, and his passion for music shows. We were initially going to have a playlist running in the background but I’m so glad we decided to have David DJ at our wedding. David did so much more than merely play music and it was absolutely worth it. David was absolutely amazing, I'm hispanic and my husband is white. He managed to keep variety going all night. He had all the guests dancing every single song. He also manage to please all of our guest when it came to song requests. He achieved making our wedding and very fun wedding both sides dancing from two-step to zapateados while some of our guests had no clue on to dance either genre. He made our day completely unforgettable!

A week before the wedding he even called and did a little run down to make sure everything was perfect for the big day. The online planning form and music request list provided by David makes the planning processes super easy. Spin Majic made history at my wedding. I loved working with David and knew his techniques from previous events. When I got engaged I booked him right away. He worked with me diligently to make sure my night was best fit to me and my husband. Using his online forms I planned just what my wedding would be. Songs I had no idea what to pick he gave recommendations to fill in. My father daughter dance was a combination of songs and came out perfect thanks to his extra efforts. The night of our big day everyone had a fun time and stayed dancing. My son was infatuated with David and kept visiting the DJ stage. David was not just great with me but all my guest. My family had concealed that they were locking up my husband with a cow bell. They filled David in and he made it special. There were things that changed last minute and David made it seem like he knew for months and had been practicing. David Campo is amazing. He is very detail oriented. He likes to get to know his clients ahead of time so he can get an idea of what to do for your special occasion. Mr. Campo learned about our theme for the wedding and color coordinated with my colors. He made sure there was nobody was bored and had a variety of different styles of music for all ages. Mr. Campo was also the officator for the wedding and he did an amazing job. I will definitely be using Spin Majic for all of my special events in the future.

Spin Majic was the DJ for my sister's wedding almost 10 years before mine and there was never anyone else considered for the part. David is incredible to work with! He truly wants to make your wedding dream a reality and goes above and beyond to do so. The planning process is simple and he walks you through as well as clarifies to make sure everything is planned out perfectly. The music was great and there was never a dull moment. We were even able to add in extra moments to truly make our reception personalized and meaningful.

We had 175 in attendance with us that night and he made sure that everyone was entertained. We can't say enough great things about David!

Dave was helpful every step of the way. He was professional, kind and knowledgeable. His prices are phenomenal. I had no idea DJs could be so expensive but Dave is by far the best value. He traveled to my venue in Magnolia, set up hours early and made sure the entire night ran smoothly. His online portal ensures that he knows your timeline, ideas, and song choices for the wedding day. We listen to a lot of Texas country music so there were a few songs we wanted played that he didn't have but he got them for us, no problem. Dave's online planning portal also provided so many ideas for things like the order of the wedding and song choices for certain things like the garter toss, cake cutting, etc. It was just so helpful. He is quick to respond to your messages and he was just so accommodating. A DJ is SUCH a big part of your day, they really help oversee and move everything a long but that doesn't mean you have to pay a fortune. I can't say enough about Dave and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ in the Houston area.
