Candice documented our day perfectly and the end product of our wedding film was beyond what we could have hoped for! For starters, she is professional: Timely, courteous, experienced, and talented. Our package also included raw footage, and I am looking forward to combing through that to see more of cocktail hour and the full vows and speeches. Where do I even begin but to say that I absolutely LOVE Candice!! I think we would be friends if we met in different circumstances, so this goes to show she treats her clients with the upmost respect, professionalism, and understanding. Candice was the only vendor of mine who I met on social media, more specifically through a wedding Facebook group. They hosted an event to meet vendors on Zoom, and I was immediately drawn to her positive energy and impressive college education in photography and film. When I went to her website, I fell in love with her natural style. In short, she doesn't follow the stereotypical wedding video script, but makes your day into a literal work of art. Candice was actually the only videographer we interviewed, and we hired her as we fell in love with her on the spot. She was always so patient with questions, very responsive to emails, and flexible when it came to upgrading packages and making edits. Candice previously told me that she acts as a ghost on the wedding day, and this could not be more true. I sincerely didn't notice her and was impressed with how much footage she had considering she was a team one. She had so many different angles captured along with amazing lighting without the bright lights in your face. I admire her for going through 8 hours of footage. That takes a lot of patience! If I'm being honest, I was skeptical about hiring a videographer in the first place as I was cognizant of money, but I knew I would be missing out on a huge opportunity if I did not hire Candice. Many people I have spoken to think photography is a must and video is optional, but Candice's work is absolutely essential. A month before our wedding we had to hire new vendors due to COVID restrictions/requirements in Los Angeles. We hired Candice at that time, which was an extremely stressful time for us, replanning part of our wedding with less than 30 days and for me, a videographer was a must. Candice was so easy to work with, from our first call to day of! She has so much energy, great vision, and has an old Kodak she can shot with too!!! Candice shot our wedding by herself, 145 guests, two different cameras, and the video is an absolute dream. The best part is we also received all of our raw footage, which was not offered by other vendors. Thank you Candice for your flexibility, cheerful personality your brought day of, and creating a video we will watch for a lifetime. You also made us feel very comfortable as we were two Brides, thank you!

Candice is amazing and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to film our wedding. We met pre-COVID and immediately were drawn in by her cheerful personality and great vision. When COVID hit and we realized we needed to reschedule, Candice was incredibly understanding. There aren't enough stars my husband and I could give Candice! Her documentary-style videography was just what we were looking for. We had to postpone our July 2020 wedding due to COVID, and Candice could not have been more accommodating, responsive, or understanding. When our big day finally came a year later, Candice was an all-star! Especially enjoyed our spontaneous post-ceremony video shoot running around the venue parking lot during golden hour. And don't get me started on the final video--I'll start crying! So beautiful, tender, funny, and just perfect.

Do yourself a favor and hire Spin The Dial ASAP!!! Planning a wedding during this pandemic was interesting, to say the least. We had to change plans/venues multiple times and ultimately downsize our guest list to just family. But from the beginning we knew that our video would be the most important part for us! Candice was absolutely amazing to work with.. I felt so comfortable with her from our first phone call. Not to mention, she was incredibly flexible when crazy last minute changes happened! She kept us laughing the whole day and was able to really capture us in a such an easygoing and natural way. You can tell how much time and effort she puts into her work.. our video turned out AMAZING! I’ve watched it about a million times and our families rave about it. (Making people cry left and right lol!) Ohhh and lastly, i have to mention that i especially love how she can mix in the Retro 16mm kodak film!!! It really gives it such a unique feel. I hired Spin The Dial to re-edit my already filmed wedding video (using the raw footage). Last year I got married in November. Long story short, I quickly chose my videographer without doing proper research (not recommended). About a month after our wedding I received our wedding video and I cried. It was nothing that I wanted. I don't want to go into why this video was not good, but frankly I realized that I was not going to get a product I'd be proud of even if I had the videographer re-edit the video. I was a member of a Facebook page for brides and vendors, and I saw Spin The Dial Films (Candice) post on there that she re-edits videos. I took a look at her films and they were BEAUTIFUL! After going back and forth via email, about things I didn't like in my video, I quickly had total faith in Candice that she would be able to re-edit this to at least show a film that captured my wedding that I thoroughly loved. I received my video about a month after paying her the deposit, and I cried (this time out of extreme joy). Candice wasn't even at my wedding, and yet she captured the emotions, the fun, and all the little nuonces that I remember from that day back in November 2019. I can't even imagine what a video would have looked like, had she filmed the wedding herself, and I don't care at this point. She made my dream come true. Candice and Spin the Dial were a dream to work with! From the very first phone call, to the day of the wedding, to the finished delivered product, we were impressed the whole way through. Candice was a great communicator and worked perfectly with our other vendors the day of the wedding. We searched far and wide for a videographer for our wedding. It came to a point, where referrals and videos we found online all started to look the same. My husband and I were looking for a videographer that would be able to capture our personality and translate it into a video that we will remember forever and Spin the Dial did just that! All the videos in her portfolio are unique and true to the couples personality. It is not based on a generic template that a lot of videographers use these days. We immediately hit it off with Candice (the owner) when we first had our Skype consultation. She was the sweetest and it felt like we had known her forever! She also became our friend shortly after that. She was super helpful, responsive and she gave us creative ideas and suggestions on all of her asks. We had so much crazy ideas in the beginning such as making an engagement video, video montage and she patiently stood by us with all our change of plans. When it came to our wedding day, we didn’t even know that Candice and Ariel were filming our wedding! A lot of the shots that they had were taken from a distance, which made our wedding video very authentic. What we even loved the most is that Candice was able to translate our personality into film and watching it makes us relive our wedding day. They even got a shot of our cat in our wedding film, which we loved and didn't expect. All the emotions that we felt that day were summoned by that film! Watching our film makes us feel like we were transported back to that day and time. It is just truly magical! Also, not to mention that Ariel even helped us out with transporting our alcohol to our wedding venue and he didn’t have to do that! Candice also referred us to our also amazing photographer! Searching for a videographer is so important- I learned that quickly in helping friends plan their weddings and then planning my own. When people say they wished they would have gotten a videographer, its SO TRUE and I am so glad I did. It should be a top priority to every bride/groom. Candice was easily the best vendor I worked with. HANDS DOWN. When I originally contacted her, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to work together due to scheduling conflicts. JD and Eric Wedding - Review Part 2 After the dust settled, Robert and Candice met with us again, and checked in with us and asked us questions to ascertain what elements that they captured for us were the most important so they could prioritize and organize our project. Then, over the next few weeks they sent us rough cuts to get our feedback. My husband and I met at a film festival and both come from the entertainment industry, so we were probably more difficult and persnickety than their other clients. Candice and Robert treated us with continued kindness and professionalism. After our requests for edits, we received an amazing final product that reflected the tone and tenor of our wedding. It encapsulated the love and joy of our day. Our family and wedding party have fallen in love with Candice and Robert through this video as well. The praise we have received for it has really shown us that a wedding video can be more than just a simple document of an important day in a family’s life. I was talking with my little sister tonight and she was telling me how she has shown the video to about a dozen of her friends and coworkers, and each of them finished watching in tears telling her how gorgeous it was. Some of the comments we have repeatedly received are about how artistic the specific shots are, the meticulous attention to detail, the delicate pacing, the balance of intimate shots during the ceremony and larger group shots of our revelers, the narrative structure masterfully woven through the video, and the skillful edits which managed to separate the wheat from the chaff. JD and Eric Wedding - Review Part 1 When Aristotle wrote, “pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work,” there was no way for him to know the work of Candice, Rob, and Spin the Dial Productions, but the joy they have in their profession radiates from our perfect wedding video. Two of our friends got married a year before and said that of all of the investments they made for their wedding, the best one was having a video of their day that truly captured the magic they remembered of their occasion. They showed us their wedding film and we were blown away. Usually wedding films (at least the ones we’ve seen) are poorly shot, cheesy, and generic. Theirs was well framed and artistic, charming and genuine, and perfectly representative of the couple. So of course, we chose the videographers who produced their video: Spin the Dial. The process began when we met up with Robert well ahead of our wedding to get to know each other. We wanted to make sure that he and Spin the Dial was the right match for us. Robert also expressed that he wanted to get to know us and what we were looking for to get a better idea of how they could achieve the goal we desired. It was a pleasant experience and by the end of our meeting it was clear that he would care for our wedding like a friend. On the day of our wedding, we briefly saw Robert and showed him around the location. He then took time to wander around the venue and familiarize himself with the lay of the land. Later, we realized that he was basically choreographing his movements for the day so he could be where he needed to be when he needed to be there. Photographers and videographers can be distracting at an important event, taking attention away from the special moments they are attempting to capture. In quantum physics, the Observer Effect describes how the act of even looking at something changes it and influences the outcome. If this theory is true, then somehow Robert existed in a parallel universe, inexplicably filming our event invisibly, even though the footage shows that he was front and center the entire time. I have no clue how he achieved this. Not once did we think about the logistics of the filming during our wedding, we were confident that it was being taken care of in the competent hands of Robert. We were not wrong.

We were looking for a videographer who 1) had a great eye and made beautiful, authentic, non-cheesy or sappy videos, 2) was willing to really listen to us and respond to our needs, 3) would not take away from our presence and enjoyment of our own wedding. Candice was all three and then some! She was so inconspicuous that I actually forgot she was there, and yet she still somehow managed to capture beautiful and intimate moments. She was extremely professional and responsive, and her own enjoyment of our celebration translated into the video. We are so thankful that we will be able to relive this moment for years to come! I'm so happy we decided to get a videographer!!! It was so great to have both people there, they captured so much of our wedding that photos can't show!
