Spinners Entertainment

or. Could not recommend him enough.

e so incredible and I got so many compliments. The dance floor was packed the whole night would highly recommend them 10 out of 10 and so nice and easy to work with.

nted and kept the music flowing perfectly all night. The dance floor was always full, and so many of our guests commented on how great the music was. Lou made everything feel seamless and truly helped make our reception unforgettable. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing wedding DJ!

between songs are instrumental (no pun intended) in determining whether the dance floor moves or dies. Lou kept our party going all night, with seamless transitions and a lineup of bangers that everyone could enjoy. It was an absolute blast. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for someone to host an amazing party!

to keep everyone on the dance floor. The energy never dropped, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. He was professional, attentive, and truly helped make our night unforgettable. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for an incredible DJ who knows how to read the room and keep the party going!

process seamless. Couldn't recommend enough!

nto DJ. From the very beginning, they made us feel heard and supported. They were so easy to work with and truly cared about making our day exactly what we envisioned. When planning our big day, they made us feel so comfortable, like we were just chatting with some friends. This made us feel so at ease and comfortable. Every single request we had was listened to and carried out perfectly, from the music volume to the length of our hoorah. Their attention to detail and professionalism allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our day, knowing everything was in the best hands. Jay and Nicole are also team players and worked seamlessly with all other involved parties. What meant the most to us was how well they balanced the music for everyone. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night, and we genuinely did not hear a single complaint from any generation — which says everything! We received countless compliments about the music and the incredible energy they created. Jay and Nicole played such a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable. Their warmth, talent, and dedication truly shined, and we would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an amazing DJ team who will go above and beyond.

t came to the big day he did not disapoint! Lou was able to play music the couple specifically requested and play the hits that keep folks on the dance floor! We couldn't recommend Lou enough.

music suggestions and working into his own. The dance floor was packed and we received a million compliments of the music. We would HIGHLY recommend the spinners entertainment and our guys, DJ Lou and sax and drummer! They were professional, helpful and confident! Thank you for making our wedding a blast!

ing up to Boston (awesome), and my wife walking out to Nicole playing Cannon in D on the violin. Transitioning to cocktail hour with Jay and Nicole playing upbeat acoustic and finding the perfect music for the mood. And finally, Jay turning it up and being the best DJ ever for the reception. They were the absolute best from first song to the last, we picked Irish goodbyes (an Owls and Lions original). We have guests of the wedding now turned onto their music, and we will all be going out to see them live again and again.

stage. We also had a live saxophonist and percussionist as part of the entertainment, and they took everything to the next level. DJ Lou read the crowd perfectly and kept everyone engaged from start to finish.

ryone and nobody left the dance floor. I highly recommend Lou for any event you mat be hosting

he dance floor was packed all night long — literally, no one wanted to sit down! Every transition was seamless, the vibe was on point, and they truly brought our vision to life. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had. If you’re looking for a DJ who knows how to keep the party going, look no further. Absolute rockstar! Also, I highly recommend the add on of the magic mirror! It was awesome to see the guests enjoy it throughout the night and now we have pictures that captured all of our guests silly moments!

surprise for my bride to be. I would definitely describe him as someone who went above and beyond in making our wedding day come together.

0 Pine) and was able to set up sound seamlessly in multiple different rooms. Lastly, we appreciated how Lou dealt with a difficult events planning company and made it clear he was a vendor for us and not them. Would highly recommend Spinners and Lou for anyone looking to have a caring and fun DJ at their wedding!

ave a blast! I highly recommend him. He is communicative and makes sure that everything is what you are looking for.

sed when we first chatted with DJ Lou, he was endearing, informative, helpful, and overall just a great guy. Even when Spinners paperwork said just 20 must play songs, and I told him I took my super long list down to 30 sorry about that - he said oh just send them all! And the night of our wedding nearly 90% of the songs he played was from my list of favorites in the most PERFECT quick mix style and order, flowing from one song to another. We had a DJ for our reception, added an extra hour, added the ceremony, the magic mirror, and the Sax and Drums for our reception. It was EPIC. The drummer was so nice and asked my groom and I to drum for a bit, what a time. And the Sax was hysterical, got in the middle of the dance floor and had the best time. I've been to A LOT of weddings, and I am so pleased to say the best wedding DJ I've seen was at my own wedding. When people bring up the wedding to my husband and I, they often say the same few things, they've never seen the dance floor so packed, the DJ was amazing, and the Sax & Drummer were so so cool. The only negatives I have are, I asked DJ Lou for 2 announcements to be made that night and neither were, and maybe it was because it was loud for him to hear me. And how many times Spinners emailed me asking to write a review just days after my wedding. Within a mont of my wedding I swear they emailed me 6 times, I was on my honeymoon and back at work, it was a bit much. But Spinners and DJ Lou were one of the best bookings we made and we're so incredibly happy with them.

oo, and even directed us to some options for processional music when we were totally clueless about what we might want! Thanks Lou!

ra based on our suggestions while also playing our "must haves." Lou was so much fun and such a talented DJ - the dance floor was FULL from the minute we entered the reception until the very end. Highly recommend!

ed, and even had the coolest/most professional attire! He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and people are still sending us messages praising his work and asking where we found him. He was 10/10! We highly recommend him for your upcoming wedding.

til the very last song at ours. It was really something to see. We cannot thank DJ Lou enough for keeping the party going all night long, matching our guests’ energy until the end. He also introduced us to the percussionist Justin — several guests are still raving about how well Justin and Lou played alongside each other. If you’re looking for an absolute standout DJ and live musician, look no further than these two. We wish we had 4 more hours to party with them. Thank you so very much for the best of memories!

MCing was superb and the added live music touch of his percussionist and saxophone player duo who played along to the music was just simply amazing. DJ Lou smith not only made our wedding so much fun, but he was great from the start being so easy to work with, professional and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend DJ Lou Smith more for a guaranteed fun and fabulous dance party!

during and the days after the reception. They learned our first dance song and nailed it. Everyone was on the dance floor from the first song to the last. Annie and I highly recommend them - you will not be disappointed!!

on. People were dancing even before we’d finished dinner! Couldn’t recommend Spinners enough.

o DJ! They were so professional and wonderful to work with! You will not be disappointed!

ut we enjoyed them so much, we couldn’t not post our biggest thanks. From the moment they appeared at our daughter’s wedding (with Nicole immediately reminding everyone of the best of Daisy Jones), they were gracious, cheerful, accommodating, patient, and brilliant musicians. It is no mistake that everyone loves these guys, and we enjoyed their work so much, we’re trying to come up with another event idea to have them back. We could go on and on, but since so many others have given this team five stars, we’ll simply say we can’t imagine having found anyone anywhere who would have been a better fit for our day. Just the best!

gh to show up early and set up a mic and speaker system for our officiant. We would definitely work with him again. :)

so many people were paying compliments to me about him and even after the wedding people said that this was the best DJ they have seen in years. He played music that kept everyone dancing and listened to our requests. During soundcheck he played baby shark for my nephew and he loved that! Nicco was a truly awesome guy and we were so lucky to have him on our wedding day.

ANNOT SAY ENOUGH AMAZING THINGS ABOUT OWLS AND LIONS. They were easily the most complimented portion of our wedding. They are so incredibly talented, they perform a large variety of music, and they were relatively affordable for live music and all of the talent they brought! They were so great to work with, incredibly attentive and seriously was one of the highlights of my wedding. They even learned our first dance song and were able to sing it live for us! Something really special about them was they are a band/DJ combo. So when they’re not singing live, Jay, one of the singers, is the DJ, while the instrumentalists play along with the music! I seriously encourage everybody to go check out their videos, it is amazing to watch them perform and it was a gift to have them as our band.

ached the interest of every guest and made my husband and I feel like rockstars. There wasn’t a moment where people weren’t on the dance floor. Jay, thank you beyond words for being part of our day and making it a night we will never forget!

he entire event, but he also managed to work in some requests that we had just mentioned as asides. (We had a lot of Broadway music fans at our event, but knew Broadway music didn’t really fit at a wedding. Somehow, he worked Broadway music throughout the even in ways that didn’t dull the energy and really elevated the whole experience!!) The ceremony was wonderful, and the reception never stopped moving — the dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT, which was exactly what we wanted. We also rented a photo booth, which was a fun experience for everyone, and they managed to exactly match the print outs from the booth to our wedding invitations!! We would HIGHLY recommend Spinners Entertainment; we cannot stress enough what an amazing job Jay and his team did.

wedding, they completely entertained our guest and we all had a blast!

. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was beautiful. The reception music was so fun and all of our guests had a blast dancing. Our family and friends all complimented us on our wedding music. Jay was so great to work with from the wedding planning to the actual day. We highly recommend Owls & Lions for your wedding. They were the best!!

to enjoy Jay and Nicole perform in addition to a sax player and guitarist. After two postponements due to COVID, what started as Owls and Lions for the ceremony + cocktail hour and a DJ for the reception quickly morphed into Owls and Lions for ceremony + cocktail hour and the full band/DJ hybrid for the reception. All I can say is, no regrets! We LOVED having live music and our guests had a blast! I knew we’d have some dedicated dancers in our crowd, but a good bit of observers too. A band was an excellent way to get the dancers up and dancing and allow the observers to sit back and enjoy the show. Jay was great with communication leading up to our event and the night of he was sure to check in with us periodically to make sure we were happy with the vibe or if there was anything they could do differently to ensure we were having the best time. My husband and I aren’t huge dancers, so we were happy to join in part of the time, observe some of the time and mingle with guests at others. Owls and Lions performed beautiful acoustic music with guitar and violin during the ceremony + cocktail hour and guests said their energy really added to the good vibes of the night. By the end of the reception so many guests were out on the dance floor singing and enjoying themselves. The band played Stand By Me right at the end of the night and all our guests circled up together and sang at the top of their lungs, definitely a moment we will always remember!

looking to have live music at their wedding at an affordable price. The music quality was really great and they are both such talented musicians. Our wedding guests were especially impressed with the live music they played during the cocktail hour. Jay was also so helpful during the planning process and was available to answer all of our questions and customize the music to what we wanted.

uding at least one original]. Jay switched over to the DJ booth for the reception. Being able to have both a DJ *and* a band was exactly what we needed; they were flawless! Spinners was responsive when communicating over email & phone. My now-husband and I are the first in our friend group to get married, so we weren’t super sure about how many music selections were needed or what the most applicable kind would be (beat/tempo-wise). Jay walked us through everything over the phone, and made sure we were happy with all the choices so that our day went off perfectly!

his company over and over again!!!

than their videos. Jay was the DJ for our reception and he was PERFECT. He listened to our requests and played a great mix of genres that kept people dancing all night long. I had MULTIPLE people come up to me and tell me what great music we had. I remember being on the dance floor and hearing someone say they had never heard a DJ play so many good songs in a row! I'm incredibly grateful for how flexible Jay was with all the re-scheduling madness during COVID-19 but in the end it was truly the perfect day.

e dance floor was packed all night! Jay was referred to us by a friend and now we will be sure to refer them to others as well! Planning was super easy and all expectations were met. Definitely recommend 100%!

ing our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better dj/mc. We also hired Owls and Lions which I heard from my guests were great! I unfortunately was too busy running around to enjoy the live music during my cocktail hour. Jay and his company was definitely a one stop shop for us! He provided live music, dj, mc, and we even got our photo booth from him. Highly recommend! :)

how passionate he was about music, his band, and making weddings unforgettable. Jay is responsive, easy to work with, and he truly cares about the couple and their special day. We worked with him throughout the pandemic (postponing our wedding multiple times) and he did everything he could to put us at ease and accommodate our date changes. We did a mix of band and DJ and they were AMAZING. Coming from someone who has been to too many weddings, I truly believe the music is the most important part and it makes such an impact on whether guests have a good time or not. Owls and Lions played during our cocktail hour and the first half of our reception and then Jay switched it up to DJ mode for the rest of the night- this was the perfect combination! He also made sure to get everyone on the dance floor at one point for a group photo which was awesome (and the photo came out great)! Owls and Lions was hands down the best choice we made when it comes to our wedding. So many of our guests commented during and after our wedding about how talented the band was and how much fun they had (thanks to the great music)! As the bride, I am so happy to reflect on our wedding day knowing that all of our guests had a great time and thankful that I was able to dance the night away (I think I only left the dance floor once to eat)! Thank you Jay and Owls and Lions for making our wedding INCREDIBLE- it would not have been the same without your talent.

emony and cocktail hour. DJ Monopoli kept the dance floor packed all night and did a fantastic job playing songs that our guests of all ages loved. Everyone that we dealt with were true professionals and a pleasure to work with. We continue to get compliments on the entertainment from our wedding guests.

th keeping the party going and made sure everyone was having a good time. The music selection was EXACTLY what we wanted and I still don't have a voice from belting out all my favorite songs! He sang acoustically and played the guitar during my cocktail hour, which was a huge hit with my guests. I cannot say enough good things about him and wish he could DJ every event in my life! Thank you so much Jay you crushed it! And thank you so much for working with me during all my covid postponements, you helped make our replanning so much easier!
