What I can say is that the music will not disappoint either. From the ceremony all the way through the evening Owls and Lions has everyone on their feet. They played everything perfect and made the evening unforgettable. Almost 9 months post wedding everyone still talks about the band. That says something about them. I love these guys and continue to try to find ways to get them to perform again.

Jay, Nicole and Chris are fantastic musicians/singers/DJs, very professional and extremely easy to work with. They could really read a room and seemed to know exactly the right song to play at the right time to keep the party going. If you're looking for something a little different for your wedding music experience, look no further!

e music up to Ollie's discretion for the reception...and we are so glad we did because he picked the best songs to play. He knew exactly how to read the crowd and our dance floor was filled the entire night. The uplighting was also a great touch that I would recommend for any venue!

s incredible. He was so easy and fun to speak with and share ideas with. Instantly he got the vibe that we wanted for our wedding and was able to easily guide us in our selection of entertainment. We loved that they have so many entertainment options to chose from! Throughout our entire wedding day they evolved to suit the vibe of each setting. Jay and Nicole played guitar and violin out on the beach prior to and during our ceremony. Our friends and family said it was so cool to be sitting out on the beach listening to them play! Walking down the isle to the instrumentals of one of my favorite songs was a dream come true and they played it so well! For cocktail hour we had their band Owls & Lions perform. They were absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a wedding band that will be different from all the rest, book them! So many people came up and asked us during cocktail who they were and where we found them! They definitely set the tone for a fun night! Jay was the perfect MC and kept things flowing seamlessly. We kept Kevin the drummer from Owls & Lions all night so we had a hybrid DJ setup. In our opinion it was so much better than just having a DJ or just having a band. Him and Jay kept people on the dance floor all night. So many people have called to tell us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to and I attribute much of that to Jay, Nicole and Kevin. I had never met them in person before the wedding because we live a good distance away. When we finally got to meet on our wedding day they truly already felt like friends. y nagging mother's annoying song requests for our reception, was made an amazing reality thanks to Jay and the crew at Spinners Entertainment. He even made my in-laws smile, which I haven't been able to do in the almost seven years I've been with their son. (He also made sure to honor our requests for no speeches and no line dances, even when irritating guests requested them.)

basis since 2010 when I first became and event planner and knew from the very first time I saw them play at a client's wedding that I would need them at mine. They can get a party started like no other band/DJ I have ever seen and they did just that at my wedding last month. Not only did Jay give our guests a night to remember, but he was also there to help us with ideas throughout the entire planning process whether it was logistics and timing or music selection, Jay was always available to give us advice. They made every detail of our event special and even let my Uncle sing our processional song while Jay played the guitar along with him. They were open to any crazy idea we had and made it even better than we could have imagined. We truly cannot thank them enough for all they did to make our big day the best it could have been!

Which means your getting more for what you pay for 100% hands down. He gave us the amazing option of accommodating us with his amazing band Owls and Lions and also his exceptional Dj’ing skills. I could not have gotten enough compliments about Owls and Lions. I had an overwhelming amount of text messages about how great they were. They played for my ceremony, (the entire thing) while people were sitting and waiting and during when the bridal party came out to a song that meant a lot to us. They did exactly what I envisioned and it was PERFECT. The cocktail hour was even better. The party before the party is what it felt like because of the great positive and uppity vibes that they just were responsible for, had filled the room. I had them for an hour of the reception and regret not having them longer. They really got the party started. Not only do they get the party started right, they get involved in the actual party! It was amazing. I would recommend owls and lions to ANYONE for ANY event not just a wedding. Simply amazing. Now for jay. The last 3 hours of our reception was all JAY Della Valle. And let me just say this guy is indescribably AMAZING at what he does. The entire time Jay was calm, cool collected. He was confident in what he was doing. He had my party going NUTS. I have never seen an entire dance floor filled and all the seats empty at a wedding. It was EXHILARATING. He fed off of our crowd and our party and everything he played was perfect. Like I said everyone wanted to know who our DJ was because it was the best most fun wedding they have been at and I owe a lot of it to Jay and Spinners Entertainment. that we did! My husband and I have a totally random, wide range of musical tastes and Jay incorporated all of our requests into the most fun night of music! Our guests were up and dancing the entire evening. We also had had a somewhat strange request for the dinner music, but Spinners delivered. Additionally, Jay totally took charge in getting certain aspects of our reception under control, and we are so grateful for his take-charge personality. These guys are the perfect balance of professional and fun. I can’t stop thinking about what a fun time everyone had, especially dancing and keeping the party going. Jay was so attentive to our wants and wishes for our wedding, but he also was honest with us if he thought something would not work. He paid attention to the songs we requested and the style of music we enjoyed and had our dance floor filled all night long. Our guests raved about the Magic Mirror and spent a lot of their night between the dance floor and the Magic Mirror. We loved that we were able to get digital downloads of all the pictures taken at the photobooth! They were such a laugh to look at when we received them! Jay had played guitar acoustically during our ceremony as well, and it was truly magical. It gave such a beautiful vibe to our wedding and we are so happy that we had chosen to have him play. He also caught us off guard with playing "Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler towards the end of our wedding and had our guest surround us. My husband and I have a love for Adam Sandler movies, and an Adam Sandler movie was our first date. No one requested the song and when I asked him what made him play that song, he said he thought we would enjoy a little corny love song. He was 100% right. It made me so incredibly happy! We loved working with Spinner's Entertainment and we would recommend them all the time! They have a little bit of everything for everyone and they will make your night, a night to remember!

I wanted a party, I wanted a full dance floor, and I sure got it. Spinners Entertainment/Owns & Lions was the best decision I made while wedding planning, hands down. Jay, Nicole & Kevin showed up on time, played live music as guests were arriving and during the ceremony. They then played live music during cocktail hour, and Jay & Kevin transitioned to full DJ after dinner. They are SO talented. Jay is a straight-up entertainer. During the DJ set, he was out on the dance floor singing to some of the hits and getting people going. I had friends texting me for days talking about how amazing they were. They completely exceeded my expectations. They played exactly what we wanted them to play plus they had fun with the DJ set and played the songs I never even knew I needed. On top of that, Kevin took some awesome videos of the party and fun boomerangs that they sent us after. Do not hesitate to book them-- DO IT NOW! I doubt you'll be able to find anything else as awesome and for a totally reasonable price. Thank you guys so much!!

The whole place was buzzing :) Even their lighting package is on point! Jay additionally is a member of the band OWLS AND LIONS. We asked them to play at our ceremony and cocktail hour. They walked up and down the aisle as guests were being seated for our ceremony. He played love songs with his band and got everyone in the wedding mood. OWLS AND LIONS also rocked out during our cocktail hour! He played fun music even some Irish music which we loved! It was the best of both worlds; having a band and a dj! We booked Owls and Lions for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then Jay and Kevin DJ'd for the reception. They kept the party going all night! Jay kept the flow perfect through first dances, father daughter, mother son dances and dinner. By the end of the night he was out on the dance floor with the party and had the crowd going crazy. I cannot recommend Spinners Entertainment enough! This was honestly one of my favorite vendors that we booked throughout our entire planning process.

. All of our guests kept telling us they've never seen something like the Magic Mirror and how awesome it was. There was a line to use it the entire night! As for the music, it was kicked off by Jay singing our first dance song. Our guests were extremely impressed with his voice and told us it was a great personal touch. After that, they kept the party going the entire night. The dance floor was always packed and everyone was having a blast. Spinners Entertainment is definitely the way to go for your wedding or party. They're the absolute best.

The highlight of the night was probably the surprise at the end where Jay gathered all guests in a circle and sang "Cant Help Falling in Love" while playing ukulele. Can't recommend enough!

018, we knew our wedding would be the party of the year and did not hesitate in booking Spinners Entertainment to help us pull it off! When we questioned Nella, the General Manager at The Crystal Plaza- if she knew of Jay Della Valle and Spinners- she immediately said "I know Jay for years, he's the best!"... which made us feel great since we'd already sent him a deposit! There was no need to shop around because we knew Spinners work! After attending weddings they had played, we were confident they could deliver a fresh mix of slow songs for our families to salsa and rumba then close the night out with Old Skool Beats leaving out all the cheesy dances in the middle! When I told Jay I wanted to walk down the aisle to "November Rain" by Guns and Roses (think 90's super cool music video)... he gracefully reminded me that it wasn't a very happy song, asked me to re listen to it and steered me toward a more classic but trendy "ShaBoom- ShaBoom" with an interlude into "Can't Help Falling in Love With You" for the flower girl & ring bearer who stole the show! I've received many compliments about how much fun our wedding was and how everyone of all ages danced the night away. I have been told that the violinist in Owls and Lions "Killed It!"... the attention to detail and flow with live music really made our wedding classy! I do have to admit, Kevin and Jay thought I was a little off my rocker at first when I told them to remix me a slow to fast version of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" for our first dance- quite nontraditional- but they made it happen & as the napkins started to fly we all knew it was a hit! So much that Megan and Harry copied 3 weeks later on their big day! **What a PARTY we had!!**

I called Jay right away to discuss all of our options and booking them, and he was very easy to communicate with via phone and e-mail through the entire process. I chose them to play during my ceremony, which was such a unique touch when guests were arriving. They played every song that I wanted during the ceremony. During cocktail hour, I added their percussionist to create a more upbeat vibe to the music. It made cocktail hour a fun experience and they are truly entertaining, not just background music. They play a variety of music that can appeal to everyone. I have received so many compliments on their engaging performance during the ceremony/cocktail hour. For the reception, I chose Jay to DJ. He did an amazing job at introductions and controlling the flow of the reception, and then an even better job at getting everyone on the dance floor. He was the most tasteful DJ that I have ever seen at a wedding. He came out into the dance floor during one of the slower songs to sing it, which was such a nice performance and people kept commenting how great that was. I also had him do the uplighting, which created a romantic ambiance during dinner and then a fun atmosphere for dancing. The entire night was even more amazing than I could have imagined, and I am so thankful that we chose Owls & Lions/Jay as our DJ. I would not have changed one thing!

We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at cocktail hour to see Owls and Lions, but we heard amazing feedback from our guests. Jay and his assistant Kevin were perfect at the reception. They pronounced all of the complicated Russian names perfectly, had amazing musics cued up, and found the perfect moment for all of our special dances. They even brought in an amazing vocalist, Erika, to sing during dinner which everyone loved! She made a big impact and entertained our guests. Jay kept the music going the whole party, and threw in a bunch of songs that fit perfectly with our taste. Our guests could not stop remarking to us about how amazing the music was, from the gorgeous performance at the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, when Jay and Nicole roamed throughout the mansion performing acoustic songs to our guests. So many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and we certainly have Jay and Spinners Entertainment to thank!!

This was a 2 person acoustic band (violin and guitar) and let me just say our guests were blown away with all the personal and intimate touches these two musicians brought to our ceremony and cocktail hour. When the time came to switch to the reception, Jay and his MC smoothly switched the setting and started the party. They were fabulous with the wedding party announcements and even gave the flower girls and ringbears (ages 4-10) a pep talk before entering the tent with all the guests. They kept the party going and to be honest we really did not make this DJ's life easy. We gave them a couple genre's and a few specific songs to play and told them to do their thing; AND THEY NAILED IT!! To top it off at the end of the night, Jay sang a final song while playing his guitar giving us one more amazing memory to hold on to while our guests watched close by and joined in on the serenading. We have already passed on both the information "The Owls and Lions" and Spinners Entertainment with Jay to family as everyone truly did fall in love with them!

During the cocktail hour, we had his guitar/violin duo Owls & Lions perform live which was amazing and we were already getting compliments from our guests. At the reception, again, all expectations were above and beyond. All the songs we wanted to hear were played and Jay stayed away from all the songs/genres we weren't into (which was REALLY important to us). He rallied the crowd when needed, knew when to slow down the music, and even blew people away when he sang one or two songs himself! The right DJ is SO important when it comes to a wedding... the music really can make or break the event. As far as we're concerned, Jay (and his team) is the perfect choice to making the music ensemble everything you imagine at your wedding. You can't go wrong hiring him.

Coming from a long musical background, I was a fanatic when it came to this portion of the night and would be lying if I said I wasn't at all nervous. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I saw while doing my research of all aspects and after several conversations with Jay, I decided to just tell Jay to be an artist and give us a great time with great music. I said I want everyone dancing and non stop energy. At no point in time was ANYONE at our wedding disappointed. Starting with the ceremony and cocktail hour.. All 3 delivered perfectly classy, tasteful and fun performances. Nicole's violin skill and gorgeous voice, Jay's acoustic guitar and diverse vocal talent along with Kevin adding on point percussion made everything perfect on a nice fall afternoon. During the reception.... exactly what I asked for... limited top 40, just great music. Jay sang at all the right times and Kevin adding live drums gave the appearance of a much bigger and more extravagant show than we could afford. Not not a single person sat all night long. Literally.... We had people coming up to us all night long asking how they weren't famous and saying that our wedding was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding and the music was by far the best they ever heard. I have to agree 1000%!!! I have been thinking of all the things I can organize just to include them in for the music at work events, family events and more. Everything went so easy and smooth.. you would be a fool to not use them all! Thanks to you all for the perfect night. I can't wait to get together for the next event!

night. The dance floor was always full during the DJ portion, and Owls & Lions were FLAWLESS in both the beach ceremony and cocktail hour. Jay even went above and beyond to surprise us by playing live music and creating a "parade" for our guests as they walked the 2 blocks from the beach to the reception site... he kept them on their feet until the groom & I arrived, forming a tunnel for us to run through (120+ people) which was the most special treat! I cannot recommend Spinners to enough people! :)

Jay and his amazing musical crew not only performed for our ceremony and cocktail hour, but they also shed their acoustic shells to become an INCREDIBLE band-DJ hybrid for our reception. People at our wedding were ASTOUNDED by how talented Jay and his colleagues are. Some even said they would pay to fly the entire crew out to California when their children were married. What we loved the most was that Jay really "got" us. We told him our ideas at the start of the planning process and we provided him with the space to use his creativity and talent. It is so difficult to choose music for a wedding, as they can actually make or break the party and fun; there was something about Jay we knew we could trust and he definitely did not disappoint. He became such a great source of ideas and support throughout the entire stressful process. He even became someone we now consider a friend. You cannot go wrong with Owls & Lions and Spinners Entertainment for your wedding day! Oh, and by the way - their "selfie mirror" was another huge hit at our party. Ask them about that too!

I questioned using that song thinking it was a little overused but the way Jay sings it brings complete new life to it to the song. Jay and his team made the night fun, entertaining and was able to get everyone on the dance floor. I was able to enjoy my wedding and guest with no worries. g, the dance floor was NEVER empty! We highly recommend Owls and Lions to anyone who is looking for fun music to keep guests entertained. We had so many compliments throughout the night about our “awesome band”. Jay took the time to learn a new song for us to play for our first dance. The sound was smooth, with an original flare that Owls and Lions brings to an event. After dinner Jay transitioned to DJ our event, and played an awesome mix of music which continued the party until the end. After our last song Jay surprised us and played our wedding song one more time so we got to repeat our first dance, which was just magical to end the night! Lions (the violin and guitar duo) entertained my guests upon arrival and set the perfect romantic tone for my outdoor ceremony. They continued to play at cocktail hour which my guests raved about. Once it was time for the reception, Jay payed attention to detail and made sure he met each person of the bridal party and how to pronounce their names. He played all the right songs at the right times and followed our guidelines perfectly. He kept the party going with his contagious excitement and was genuinely happy to take part in our day. The following days after the wedding, everyone kept talking about how much fun they had and how much they loved the music component of the day. Amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Music is very important to us and we did not have to worry one bit using Spinners Entertainment. They truly made our night memorable.

During the reception we had added a percussionist and electric violinist to the DJ music. It was an awesome blend of DJ & live music. People kept talking about how amazing the violinist was and he did a wonderful job of interacting with the guests. We also had the photo booth which was a fun addition and kept things interesting. The best part was that we got a photo album at the end of the night and all the pictures on a thumb drive. Jay is nice and genuine and kept people up and dancing all night. The dance floor was full even before we were introduced and they had to drag us off at the end of the night.

He was able to nail all of our lengthy intros with some last minute curveballs thrown his way, and then had the task of keeping our 200+ guests dancing all night long as we opted for a cocktail style service with no assigned dinner time. He absolutely knocked it out of the park. His professionalism on the mic, combined with his knack for always picking the right song to fit the mood made our special day even more perfect. Our guests had a ball at the photo booth stocked with awesome props, and as a bonus we got to take home a fantastic album containing all the photos which had us cracking up all weekend long as we thumbed through the pages. Jay's attention to detail throughout made the entire evening spectacular. I would highly recommend utilizing Jay for all of his services so you have one point of contact and know you're going to get the very best of everything.
