Tani is amazing! We hired her to do our entire wedding suite (save the dates, invitations, rsvp cards, etc), and I honestly feel like it’s one of the best decisions we made over the course of the wedding planning.
For starters, the communication was great. She clearly established a timeline for all different stages of the process and kept us apprised of the progress. We didn’t really have a clear vision of what we wanted to start, but we knew we wanted something unique that spoke to our personalities and the venue. She patiently worked with us to figure everything out. She listened to what we wanted, reviewed my numerous Pinterest pins, and came up with a suite that perfectly fit my husband and me. She welcomed our comments and quickly handled any resulting edits.
Perhaps most importantly, she worked magic with our budget. We wound up wanting something very unique (plexi invites), and she managed to make changes to the overall package that made it doable.
I got so many comments from our family and friends saying they were the most beautiful invitations they had ever seen, and some even commented on saving them for examples of they want when they get married. I would definitely work with Tani again!
Where to even begin about working with Tani? I found Tani by luck and she ended up being one of the best vendors I worked with on my wedding. I hired her to help with a custom invitation suite and calligraphy originally, but I became so obsessed with her work I also ended up having her help with menus, programs, acrylic board signage, table numbers, thank you cards and the seating chart…all of which turned out amazing. I was not an “easy” person to work with and was constantly changing my mind - but Tani listened and worked with me to bring my vision to life.
I didn’t realize the amount of options there are when choosing paper products (i.e. ink, weight of paper, type of paper) and she walked me through choosing the best option for me to optimize what I was wanting to achieve AND something that wouldn’t break the bank.
Also, her calligraphy is INCREDIBLE. She did calligraphy for each of the wedding invitations as well as for my seating chart (which she wrote both on acrylic and on silk ribbons). It was GORGEOUS.
Tani is professional, hard working and extremely talented - I truly can’t recommend her highly enough. If you are looking for THE BEST, look no further!!
What can I say but it was amazing to have Tani and her work for our special day. We had Tani do our invitations and enjoyed the whole process of creating with her. Tani took what she knew about us and designed a invitation that reflected our look- was creative, unique and just so beautifully crafted.
From the beginning Tani was amazingly organized- she was clear with how we could support the process and on setting our goals together for what the outcomes would be for her work. This support continued throughout the whole process- she was so responsive to any suggestions, prompt in reviewing our work and moving on deadlines. I never had to worry that some detail was not covered or looked at- instead she thought of added touches I never would have thought of!
Not only did Tani have good follow through and clearly worked hard, but the quality of her design is exquisite. She has an amazing eye for detail and it is so evident the product of her work. She added a layer of creativity and beauty to each aspect of her work.
I would recommend working with Tani to anyone. Not only were we impressed but we heard from many guests about how they were impressed about the invitation was unique and reflected us as a couple. These skills paired with her amazing organization, hard work and good communication meant it was a gift to work together in this process!
Working with Splash of T on our wedding invitations and paper goods with an absolute dream! Tani is a consummate professional that took our wedding vision and executed it flawlessly across all aspects of the wedding, from the invitations that went out to all our guests to the programs and menus on our wedding day. Simply put, our guests were wowed at her one-of-a-kind creations.
I had worked with Tani several years ago in the corporate world, so I already knew she was an ace at storytelling and branding, as well as the most important but unglamorous aspects wedding planning - budgeting and meeting deadlines. Hiring her for our wedding was a no-brainer.
From the beginning, Tani listened intently as I described our wedding “brand” our inspirations, and collaborated with me through several design rounds to really create a custom product that you wouldn’t get with standard invitation sites. Best of all, she really worked with my budget to craft an elevated product. This is particularly refreshing since couples are trying to manage a budget leading up to the big day.
When I hired Tani, I had asked her to design a custom invitation suite that blended modern elements with organic materials – no easy feat. Fortunately, Tani is a problem solver, flexible, and full of ideas. Through her streamlined design process, I was able to review many options and talked through designs until we whittled it down to the perfect final product. Our wedding invitations were furthermore topped off with Tani's perfect calligraphy script.
I got so many compliments on my wedding invitations that I partnered with her again on our programs and wedding menu, bringing in elements of the invitation to those day-of paper goods to tie the wedding together in subtle but important ways.
Splash of T is perfect for couples that want bespoke design that will delight your guests with product that looks like it belongs in the pages of a luxe wedding magazine. I was so happy with everything she made and would use her again without hesitation for future projects!
While planning my wedding, I fell into a common trap: I knew exactly what I wanted my invitations and stationary to look like, but I lacked the skills to take the vision in my head and turn it into a tangible product. As a trained librarian, English teacher, and lifelong reader, my life revolves around the written word, and it only seemed fitting for my wedding to absorb this love of literature into its core design. I looked everywhere for the right stationary, but the big name sites had nothing, and Etsy was full of kitchy designs that lacked the elegance I was looking for.
I spent several months playing Goldilocks, and it wasn’t until my best friend recommended Tani that I found the designer whose vision fit ‘just right.’ She took my vague idea of Harvard Classics and book templates, and turned it into an invitation unlike any other. Her flawless design brought the story of my wedding to life, and my guests loved literally turning through the pages to get a closer glimpse into our own fairy tale. The RSVP cards were modeled off vintage catalog cards, and a retired librarian even commented on the authenticity of the design! To top it off, each one was lovingly hand-addressed in Tani’s beautiful calligraphy, and sealed in wax to give it that final, finishing touch. All my guests raved about her work, and were awe-struck by her excellent penmanship.
Though I initially thought I would only need the invitations, as every bride knows your initial plans fly out the window in the end. Fortunately, Tani is nothing if not flexible and punctual, and was able to work around my crazy schedule to create programs and personalized labels to attach to my wedding favors. At first, I wanted to avoid programs altogether, since it seems like that one piece of paper that goes straight into the trash at the end of the reception, or its found flying throughout the countryside, a forgotten, expensive piece of litter. Tani’s ability to condense all the information in a traditional program onto a gorgeous bookmark allieved these fears, and each guest receieved yet another unique piece from her collection that could be recycled as they dove into their next read.
Each piece Tani created was unique, but stayed true to the overall vision of the day, blending seemlessly into the overall design of both stationary and wedding. She was very responsive throughout the entire process, and worked tirelessly to make sure that every last detail was perfect. While she always gave us plenty of options to choose from, my husband and I usually ended up agreeing with her suggestions—the expert knows best! She even had the extra hurdle of working with clients in another time zone, but she didn’t let that phase her. Everything was done in a timely manner, and when I was overwhelmed and behind, she was always there as an extra support system, and friendly reminder to keep on track. Looking into the future, I know that any time I may need stationary to mark a landmark, or a friend or family member looks for a recommendation, Tani is the only name I will have on my list.
As I try to sum it all up, I find it hard to express how much I value Tani’s work. The memories she’s crafted are so tied into the flood of emotions I felt on my wedding day, that there are no words to express how much I value her work and her prescence throughout this time. Simply put: I cannot imagine my wedding without her subtle, graceful touch. And I think that says it all.
A wedding is one of the most special events most people will ever experience. There are so many details that go into the planning and preparation. There was no question that I would have anyone else create and design our save the dates, invitations, thank you cards, and favor tags but Tani. I had no idea how amazing all those things would turn out with her creative expertise.
The invitations were amazing, like nothing I had seen before. Not only did they look professional but she also intentionally designed them to match our personalities and the theme of our wedding. She even took the time to burn all the edges of each invite to make them look more rustic and unique, and used a twine “belly band” tied to a photo of us to wrap the invitation components together. They were so personal and meaningful, and so many of our guests complimented them.
Our wedding favors were bags of almonds from our family farm, and it was Tani's idea to attach a mini thank you note to each one. On it she included a special little logo that she designed using our initials. It was just the thing to add to make our favors personalized and to make our guests feel appreciated. To this day, we still use that logo in our personal stationery and are reminded of our special day every time we see it!
Tani did such a phenomenal job with all of the paper goods she created for us and it was so relieving to have a trustworthy friend working on these details so that we didn't have to worry about that on top of all the other things we had to do to prepare for our big day!
Not only do I love Tani’s work, but she is a joy to work with. She works enthusiastically, intentionally, and always promptly. She is generous with her skills and she has made me more excited about what it is I want to portray to others. Tani is amazing at coming alongside and working with an idea and turning it into something magnificent. The work she did for us was above and beyond what we could have ever imagined.
I hired Splash of T Design because of the quality of work and passion that goes into everything this company does. I had seen her work in another wedding and was blown away by how beautiful and perfect everything looked, and I knew there was no one else I wanted to help me with my wedding. I was lucky to have Tani create my Save the Dates, Invitations, Escort Cards, Party Favors, Programs, and Thank You Cards.
Tani was so easy to work with. She was so kind, understanding, helpful, patient, and funny since she knew what I was going through after having gone through the rigors of planning her own wedding. She is also extremely talented and knew what I wanted even when I did not. She was organized and always anticipated when things needed to get done based on my wedding date and timeline, which was a huge relief to me since I was busy worrying about everything else! I put my complete trust in her and she went above and beyond everything she said she would do. Tani was so professional in sending me final drafts of everything before they were sent off to be printed, and I especially loved when she sent me pictures of her work in progress. It was so exciting and I felt like I was a part of the process. She showed me just enough so I would get an idea of what was going on and then would blow me away by the finished product.
I could rave about all of her products but the one that I was most in love with were the invitations. Her attention to detail, such as hand-stamping and hand-lettering the outside of our invitation envelopes, was a huge part of what made my wedding perfect. She not only carefully designed each product, but also put time into adding personal touches you could not get from simply ordering printed invitations online.
My husband and I met in Africa and we both love to travel. Tani incorporated both of those themes into our invitations by cutting beautiful African print fabric by hand to incorporate in the invitation and hand-stamping a compass with wax to bundle the complete invitation, which acknowledged how important travel is to us. Her penmanship is gorgeous and I was grateful to have her address the invitations and write each escort card (we had escort bookmarks!) in pristine hand-printed calligraphy.
To be honest, I definitely had tears in my eyes when I saw the final products. You can see her passion for art and all of the time and effort she spent in the quality of each product. Tani went above and beyond my wildest dreams and I cannot wait to work with her again for my next big life event!
You know those beautiful straight-out-of-magazine wedding invitations and stationery that you drool over, but never expect you could have for your own wedding? You can totally have this when you work with Tani.
As a bride looking primarily into wedding invitations, there are so many options out there. I wanted this detail of my wedding to wow my guests and stand out, but the cookie-cutter templates I saw on other sites just seemed to be lacking something special.
After a quick consultation with Tani, she just knew exactly what I was looking for. She designed an invitation suite that absolutely nailed the soft, sweet, romantic look I wanted. Her eye for detail and craft is exquisite; the gold embellishments paired with the soft floral watercolors was absolutely beautiful, along with the gold floral seal on the back of our envelopes! Our guests also LOVED seeing their names hand-lettered in Tani's beautiful calligraphy—that received floods of compliments! My favorite part of having such beautifully-crafted custom invitations was that they made our guests feel really special to receive them.
Tani also custom-painted and hand-lettered our placecards—talk about going above and beyond to impress your guests! We had so many friends and family take pictures of their placecards and post them on social media.
Last but not least, Tani created a BEAUTIFUL welcome sign for our ceremony that absolutely went above and beyond my expectations. Everything she created for us was seriously a work of art and just gave our wedding that special touch that sets the entire mood/vibe.
Not only is Tani a master of her craft and extremely detail-oriented, but she is also super reliable and timely. As a bride, I had a lot of things on my mind, but I never had to worry or stress about anything with Tani. She took care of all the details on her end—all I had to do was approve her work and pick up the final product! I would definitely refer Tani to anyone wanting beautiful and special custom & hassle-free design work.
