Adam mikaylan were so amazing! They had a vision for our wedding day at mission San Juan Capistrano and executed everything seamlessly. Both of them were committed to getting the perfect shot even if it meant attempting it multiple times. They were open to ideas we had the day of and kept us on our timeline. We can’t wait to get our pictures back!

We had to postpone our wedding 3 different times due to Covid and Eric was so thoughtful and accommodating in each instance. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Splash of Time Photography. Eric made the process seamless and promptly answered all my questions when needed. Adam was our photographer for both our engagement session and wedding and was so fun to work with. He made it feel easy and natural, giving direction and adjusting clothing and hair as needed. And of course, THE PICTURES WERE AMAZING, way better than I expected. They were vibrant, radiant, and perfectly captured our day. We booked the Junior photographer for our original wedding August 2020 (which turned into a small ceremony at our venue) as well as for our engagement photos. Adam photographed both events and the photos turned out incredible! My husband and I are both awkward picture takers, but he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera! The August 2020 wedding photographs are so artistic with perfect lighting. Adam and his team photographed and video'd our big wedding May 2022 and he once again proved how AMAZING he was! He was so creative with all of his shots and I'm so excited to see how round 2 ends up! He's such a calming presence and exactly who you want by your side during this stressful day. I 100% recommend Adam and his team!!!

Splashes of Time were fantastic! Eric was very communicative during our process, and created a detailed timeline for us to provide to our party and other vendors. We had Adam and Mikailin photographing our big day, and they were very professional and fun to work with. They were laidback and made us feel at ease through the hours of photos we were taking. They allowed us to do some of our own posing and were flexible with changing up some looks and locations. We just received our preview photos and they look beautiful, I can't wait to see the rest!

We are so thankful we had Eric and his co-shooter Richie as our wedding photographers! From the first time we talked with Eric on the phone, we felt like he really wanted to get to know us and deliver excellent pictures of our wedding day tailored to our personality as a couple. Eric handled our large blended families seamlessly, getting all of the portrait combinations you could think of, and Richie took advantage of that time to take some more casual photos of other guests; we love that both of them were always looking out for opportunities to get shots that we would love. We have so many unique, stunning photos of us and our family and friends, both posed and candid, and we're so thankful that Eric and Richie were there to direct us and make us feel comfortable in order to get the best possible photos. They were so good at making us genuinely laugh so that everything looks natural, because it is! We've gotten so many admiring comments from family and friends already. Best part of the wedding planning by far! Coordinating with Eric via email and phone call, especially through the pandemic, were smoothe transitions. On the day of, we worked with Adam and another female photographer. They were both funny, easy going, and made us all feel so comfortable; even our family and bridal party said so! The photos were beautiful and I immediately had other friends ask me for their information to book at their weddings!

Wow! No words to describe Eric, Adam and the rest of the team at Splashes of time! I had issues with almost all of my vendors except photography! Eric made planning, communication and organization very smooth and easy. Not to mention the pictures are gorgeous! My wedding took place on September 6th 2020- hottest weekend of the year. Eric and his team worked very hard to get the best poses and pictures for us despite the weather conditions. I'm so grateful to their team. They also super flexible during the COVID pandemic, having to reschedule our day/details multiple times. He creates a wedding timeline to ensure your day includes everything you dream of. On the day of, Eric and his team were amazing...even the venue owner was impressed! They went above and beyond to get the best shot (handing over ledges, laying/sitting on the ground, etc.). They were able to edit and send the link for the photos in a very timely manner. The pictures were such great quality; we received so many compliments! Highly recommend Splashes of Time Photography! Eric and his team were so professional and he was amazing to work with. The photos are were completed shortly after our wedding and they all looked awesome. Eric did an excellent job capturing those precious moments perfectly! We opted out of videography but his photos captured each moment for us to reminisce and memorialized our wedding. Our wedding portraits are absolutely beautiful and creative.

Eric and his second photographer Adam were both amazing on our wedding day! Eric is a really funny guy and has an easy going personality, but can handle big groups and difficult family situations with ease. He has an amazing eye for backgrounds and lighting. He gives easy to follow directions for portrait shots, but also captures amazing spontaneous moments as well! We received our wedding photos about 4 weeks after our wedding. During the planning period, Eric was completely prepared with answers for all my questions and a questionnaire to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted for that day. Eric and his team were great to work with. We had them for our engagement photos as well as wedding photos. They were always on time, and easy to work with. Words don't begin to describe how beautifully Eric and his team captured our wedding day in photos and video. They exceeded our expectations and were exceptionally professional while still engaging and fun. Their services are priced very reasonably for the quality of photo and video received as well as the quality of the team and their communication leading up to the wedding and the day of. They even came down to San Diego for our wedding for no additional cost! My husband and I have joked about how we loved spending time with the photographers and videographers on our wedding day, because they truly made taking pictures a fun thing for us and all of our family/bridal party. There were several things that Eric and his team did to go above and beyond. They made sure to capture each shot we asked for (in their detailed wedding day questionnaire) or clarify if we still wanted each picture. Eric asked if there were any other pictures we wanted- I said one of the dance floor, but it wasn't full at the moment. Then Eric asked me ‘Want me to make it happen?'; told our DJ a specific song, and took amazing pictures of everyone that ended up on the dance floor because of it. Just a really cool moment of the many they created! If you are looking for quality photo and video, Eric knows how to capture a wedding wonderfully.

We chose Splashes of Time for our engagement and wedding pictures and we couldn't be happier! Eric was easy to get in touch with initially, had quick responses to all our questions and helped us pick the best wedding package for our situation. We went with senior photographer Adam after meeting him and realizing we all got along well! He made my husband and me feel comfortable with all the picture taking and posing and we were so thankful for that! Splashes of Time Photography was simply amazing!! We did our engagement photos and wedding day with them and their team was incredible! Eric & (I’m so mad I forgot his name!) his co-shooter were both really nice and respectful the day of the wedding. They arrived on time and shooting with them was sooooo much fun! Throughout the planning process they really listened to what we wanted. For example, when we were taking our engagement pictures Eric would put me in certain poses that feel really awkward in person but make you look great in pictures so I went with it. When we got our pictures back I DID look model-like! But those poses were still very awkward for me because I’m an awkward person lol & I really didn’t want to feel awkward on our big day so I let Eric know. He was really understanding, and on our wedding day I didn’t feel awkward at all with the alternative poses he suggested. Eric and his second shooter didn’t get in the way at all during the big day, in fact, I didn’t notice them at all during the ceremony AND the reception. I haven’t gotten our pictures back yet so I’ll make sure to update this once I do, but we got a teaser back from the wedding and OMG! I cannot wait to see the rest! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars (would give 4.5 if I could) is because in our engagement pictures my husband! had a pesky little cowlick that was pretty distracting and it showed up in almost all the pictures. I felt like they could’ve easily photoshopped this out (because I did it myself lol) but I think at the time Eric had a newborn so its understandable! All in all, I would recommend splashes of time to any and everyone!!

Splashes of Time Photography did an amazing job with our wedding photos and we are beyond pleased with them. We had Laurie and Mark for our big day and they knew exactly what they were doing. They knew where to have us stand outside to get the perfect lighting and background. They also gave us instructions on how to pose. I didn't realize having two photographers was a big deal; we definitely recommend it. When it came to taking bridesmaids and groomsmen pictures they split us up. Laurie did bridesmaid and Mark did Groomsmen. It helped us out on time. They also did a phenomenal job editing our photos. It wasn't too much or too less. They made our wedding colors pop and blend perfect. I definitely recommend them.

Eric and his team captured truly incredible photographs of our wedding day! The entire process was very easy - we were able to communicate our vision over the phone and through the online questionnaire. Day of, everything went very smoothly. Eric was great at calming our nerves and communicating how we should pose to create the best angles. After the event, we had a pretty quick turnaround for our photos. It was very important that we could download all of our images (other photographers "hold the photos hostage" so to speak). His pictures were fabulous but what really stood out to me was his ability to coach us with our posing. He knows how to flatter your good angels and really went above and beyond to make sure we looked just as good as the background did. I had 9 exuberant bridesmaids and he worked with us like a champ and kept us on schedule - not an easy thing to do with a huge group of girls!! He does a lot of prep work before the big day to make sure all details are worked out. Very happy with this services. Thanks sooooo much Eric!

My husband and I had Splashes of Time Photography for our photography and videography for our wedding on August 25, 2018. Splashes of Time Photgraphy was an excellent photography videography company for our wedding! We hand-picked Eric Andrew specifically as our master photographer due to his impressive photography skills and high level of attention to details. Eric always stayed in constant communication, put together an excellent crew for our multiple photographers and videographer, had superb follow-up skills, and always shared our excitement and happiness. He spent ample time with me to address all of my concerns, questions, and requests, as well as my husband’s. Eric communicated all details, addressed everything as promised and on time, and was also friendly, positive, and beyond professional. Eric gained our trust and respect from the very beginning. He takes initiative to ensure everything is running smoothly and on time (even to the specific details of informing the cooks when to start preparing dinner!). Eric maintained an unexplainable calmness throughout the entire wedding process and our special day (even with such a large wedding party and my bride stress!). I had a million requests with photography for Eric – and he was extremely patient and kind the entire time. Eric was so on point that he captured moments that we weren’t aware of at the time (making perfect real life photos), and even captured the fine details of our engravings on the inside of our wedding bands. He had the most professional attitude and always eluded a calmness while managing so much behind the scenes. We were extremely happy with his services – so much so that I have requested him for our trash the dress photo shoot with my husband (and one day family photos!). Eric and his team truly believe in capturing life’s most beautiful moments, and this showed in his art work and dedication to our wedding. He even created a photo with our guests blowing bubbles on us while I danced with my husband, and turned this photo into a piece of art (all of our guests fell in love with this art piece!). She has an eye for lighting! I stood there awkwardly smiling...but Laurie knew exactly what to say to help me pose and make the right facial expression/body language. After interviewing several photographers and reviewing each and every one of their portfolios, my now husband and I settled on Splashes of Time. During our meet and greet, we immediately got a great vibe from Eric because he very clearly answered all the questions we had. Our wedding day was amazing and Eric was fantastic. He really is a great photographer and he definitely knew how to use natural light to his advantage. Our wedding photos turned out beautifully! The only minor complaint I have is that he's not the best at returning messages right away. There was a moment when I was a little concerned with the lack of communication but in the end, everything worked out and our photos are gorgeous. I can't wait to finally see our wedding video when it comes out! We will make sure to update our review once we see it.
