After planning my wedding & helping friends in varying roles through the years, a friend hired me to coordinate her wedding day several years ago. I loved it & after many years as an accountant, I had found my calling.

I can't tell you how many times my husband and I said "Booking Sharlee was the best money we spent on our wedding" throughout the planning process and the day of. Sharlee was SO organized and did so much to ensure that our day was as stress-free as possible. There's so much you have to think about when planning a wedding, and my only regret is not booking Sharlee earlier in our planning process. When we showed up to the rehearsal and Sharlee had call sheets for the whole wedding party with a timeline of ALL wedding events, including hair and makeup and photos, a map of the venue, and other key details about the wedding day, we were beyond grateful and in complete awe of the effort she put in to make our day run flawlessly. Our wedding day was the PERFECT day, and I honestly believe Sharlee was a HUGE part of making that happen. I cannot thank her enough for everything! BOOK HER! You won't regret it.

When finalizing details for our wedding, we really had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. While some are great at planning and finalizing their own weddings, we had a guest list of 125, and were really trying to be hands-off on the day-of (looking back on this idea, it is pretty laughable now that we were trying to do with without Sharlee's help)
Thank goodness for Sharlee and Spotlight Event Planning. WOW! She really does think of all the things that you just don't, and is the most organized is ways you just can't be.
It was so nice waking up the week of, knowing that our wedding was going to be organized and fit to a tight timeline thats to Sharlee.
She worked so well with our bridal and groom's party, keeping them in order and timely (one of my bridesmaid's said it best "she is the best parts of orderly, yet approachable"
Sharlee made our day memorable and so wonderful. We are so grateful to have had her for Day-Of. If you are thinking about hiring Spotlight Event Planning, Sharlee is more than worth what she will bring to your event.

We LOVED Sharlee! What an absolute delight and true pleasure to work with.
Sharlee was so extraordinarily helpful, from our first meeting all the way to post-reception. Our wedding day went as smoothly as it possibly could have thanks to her attention to detail and admirable people-wrangling skills.

Sharlee is my absolute hero. I had taken a stab at planning my ~115 person wedding, and while I felt like I had a vision, I was totally overwhelmed by execution. From the moment we connected, Sharlee was empathetic, organized as all heck, and an absolute delight to work with. She grabbed all the information she could from my brain and my inbox (and dealt with receiving all of it in pieces, because who has the mental fortitude to collate that kind of information?) and that was it -- she deftly handled the rest.
She was equally adept and incredible on the day of the wedding. Multiple people commented on how Sharlee was helpful, kind and organized with our guests. For example, I had high hopes for capturing a lot of group photos in a very short amount of time. Sharlee ensured everyone was lined up and ready to go, and we got them all in what must have been record time, because when we were done I heard our photographer comment, "That was incredible."

Sharlee was fabulous! She took my vision and plan and executed perfectly. She asked all the right questions of things I didn’t think about, and ensured everything was stress free on my big day.

Sharlee is absolutely amazing. She completely put my mind at ease and handled things with care and grace. We had an issue with transportation and I wouldn’t have even known if my bridesmaid didn’t tell me. Sharlee was on it.
For our rehearsal she made sure everything ran smoothly and kept our rowdy bunch on track. She was wonderful with our kids and even impressed the mother of the bride which speaks volumes.

We were so happy with Sharlee's service! We even had her be our witness on our marriage license.
We had a somewhat alternative wedding in that we had it at a local park with lots of DIY features and several vendors to make everything happen. We had a guest list of <50 people for a very intimate wedding.
Sharlee was patient but persistent in getting all the details of our wedding together. We had a couple of meetings before the wedding, which helped us identify things we hadn't planned for enough yet, and she made some suggestions that helped us figure out what we wanted.
Our guests had only positive things to say about how she performed on the day of, and some of them specifically noted that she was amazing for running through the ceremony with us in the detail she did at the rehearsal.
We were very happy to have hired Sharlee on for our wedding day; she took the lead on interacting with our vendors all day and made sure everything was set up how we wanted it to be so we could focus on being present in the moment. Her assistant helped out a lot with setting up the decorations and other logistics.

I cannot say enough good things about Sharlee!! She made our day perfect and made planning a breeze! She thought of all the things I never would have even considered. She made sure our day was exactly what we wanted. We had a wild bunch and she handled them like a pro!! When our photographers failed to show up she stepped up and went above and beyond what was expected of her. My maid of honor managed to get a camera and Sharlee and her assistant spent the whole night shooting pictures all while making sure the night still ran smoothly. She was a God-send! I highly recommended hiring her as your wedding planner!!!
