When we were initially looking for a DJ, we did not realize this distinction, but upon meeting with Kevin quickly realized the larger function of the MC as he walked us through the ceremony and reception with an eye on the millions of little decisions that need to be made to have a cohesive event. We were were very impressed with his dedication, his expertise, and his commitment to making sure our wedding was exactly as we envisioned it. A few months before our ceremony, Kevin met with us over the phone to completely talk through the ceremony and reception. He asked questions and had ideas we not only hadn't thought of but would never have thought of ourselves! He comes with some great experience that he uses to help give you options for your ceremony/reception but also can offer some guidance as to what might work best given your expectations, context, and goals for your wedding. We feel really lucky to have hired Kevin & Spotlight Studio for our wedding!

cocktail hour. He played all the eclectic music we requested throughout the night and kept the party going until the very end! His set up is wonderful, great lighting and the uplighting added the perfect touch throughout the venue. He kept right on track with the timeline and worked well with our coordinator to keep the evening moving seamlessly. We would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a DJ for their big night!

he reception… wow!!! We danced the night away and couldn’t stop dancing. 2 days later and we can’t walk because our legs are so tired! If you want a DJ that is ATTENTIVE, caring, understanding, and will even help you with a wedding day time line, look no further, because this is your guy. Best day ever!!! And he even let us mix a couple songs at our wedding!!! Thank you so so much Kevin for being so supportive and helpful leading up to and during our big day. You are one of a kind.

e called and checked in with us a few times including a few days before the wedding. It put my mind at easy. The day of was perfect and the music was spot on. Everyone was on the dance floor until the venue kicked us out at the end of the night. I knew he was going to bring some uplighting and set them up ahead of time. My husband told me after how awesome the uplighting was and how he was surprised, which made me laugh since I knew it was going to happen. Our on-site coordinator said that Kevin was so great to coordinate with and work with that she took his cars and will use him for her daughter's wedding this fall. I have 0 reservation in recommending Kevin for any fun party or reception. He even played the eclectic songs that were requested by the bride (myself) and our friends such as Rainbow Connection by Kermit and a few video game theme songs I knew our guests would love! Thank you again Keivn for making our night an unforgettable one for all the right reasons!
