Spray Beach Oceanfront Hotel

My son and my beautiful, now daughter, had their wedding at Spray Beach on September 13,2025. 10 out of 10! Tyra was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Shannon was also wonderful along with all of the staff. They did not skip a beat. I can honestly say that they made the entire day seamless! Couldn’t ask for more, from warm friendly smiles to paying attention to every detail. If you want your special day to be stress free and perfect this is the Venue for you!

We used Spray Beach Hotel for our wedding room block, rehearsal dinner, and welcome drinks. Overall, our experience was good, but there were a few logistical challenges that prevented it from being excellent. The biggest strengths of Spray Beach Hotel are the location and the venue itself. The property is beautiful, there is plenty of parking (which is a huge plus on LBI), the hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food served at our rehearsal dinner was fresh and delicious. We also appreciated that they only require a 10-room minimum for a room block and are willing to add additional rooms as needed. There were, however, several areas where we wish the planning process and event flexibility had been better. Unlike many hotels, there was no discounted rate for guests booking within our room block. We also found communication to be inconsistent, as multiple emails regarding hotel room questions and shuttle coordination went unanswered. For our rehearsal dinner and welcome event, there were some limitations that, albeit communicated in advance, still prevent me from giving a 5-star rating. Although there is a speaker system in the dining area, we weren't able to connect our own playlist. The TVs above the bar also could not display a slideshow or use AirPlay, which was disappointing since we had planned to share photos with our guests. When our rehearsal dinner transitioned into our welcome drinks, they could not switch to a cash bar. Instead, the only option was to continue an open beer and wine tab, and they were unable to separate mixed drinks so guests could purchase those individually. Overall, Spray Beach Hotel offers a beautiful venue, quality food, and comfortable accommodations in a fantastic location. If you're considering hosting wedding events there, I would only suggest reflecting on your priorities in an overall experience.
