Spring House Hotel

The Spring House was an absolutely amazing place to get married, I cannot recommend it enough!!! Tanya, the event coordinator, and the Spring House staff did an incredible job giving us the perfect wedding day. Tanya is organized, thoughtful, kind, helpful and so dedicated to her job. She is truly great to work with when planning your special day, and has a lot of great recommendations for vendors and details to enhance the day. Our guests loved that the venue had several separate settings, which kept the evening exciting. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were held on the front lawn, dinner was held in the tent in the rear of the hotel overlooking the ocean, and dancing and cake were held in the front parlor. The food was delicious, and the signature cocktails we asked for were incredible. We had perfect weather on our day, but another reason we chose the Spring House is the rainy day options there are also romantic and special, if that is something you're concerned about. I will relive my wedding weekend on Block Island over and over again, everything about it was magical.

Spring House really was the perfect place to get married. I'm not sure I can properly describe it but the island, the venue, the entire day was awesome and it was definitely in thanks to Spring House Hotel that it happened perfectly. Tanya is unlike any other. She is great at her job, directive the day of as needed, and works hard to make your vision come to life. She is so responsive, attentive, and had contagious energy. I was a very hands on bride and Tanya encouraged every idea I had which was truly amazing. It is no secret that the venue is beautiful but what made the day extra special was all the staff truly there to see the day through. I couldn’t imagine getting married and having the same feeling anywhere else. Thank you Spring House and thank you Tanya especially for a truly amazing day!

The Spring House is really an expert at weddings. Tanya is so organized and kind. She was very patient with our questions and guided us through the whole process. The event flowed beautifully through the different spaces and I got to enjoy the day knowing that everything was being managed. Tanya and the Spring House made our wedding day absolutely perfect! We dreamed about getting married at the Spring House from the moment that we started wedding planning. We wanted our wedding to be different and memorable and the Spring House was exactly that. Although we were a bit skeptical at first, we loved the flow of the day from cocktail hour on the front lawn / veranda, followed by seated dinner on the back patio and then dancing in Victoria’s Parlor (it is not your typical ballroom with a dance floor in the center and tables around it). Having that movement throughout the night made it so that all of our guests were really a part of everything (no one could just sit there and not dance). Most of our guests had never been to Block Island before so it was super important to us that they got to experience the beauty of the island and why we love it so much. The Spring House provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day and did not fail to impress. We knew that it was a big ask to have our family and friends travel out for the weekend, but in the end we received so many compliments from all of our guests. Throughout the wedding planning process and all the way up through the day of our wedding, Tanya was incredible. She told me from the very beginning that there was no need for a wedding planner and she was right. She took care of coordinating with all of our vendors leading up to our wedding day and made sure that everything went flawlessly day of. She truly went above and beyond and we felt so at ease having her there. We are so happy with our decision to get married at the Spring House and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a Block Island wedding!

We were married at the Spring House in September 2023 and truly cannot say enough positive things about the entire experience. From day one of the planning process, Tanya was an absolute dream to work with. She is professional, responsive, and so so helpful with every detail. The day of our wedding was a windy, wet, tropical storm, but Tanya and the Spring House staff took care of every single detail and executed our plan B without a hitch. We were so relaxed all day knowing that they had everything covered despite the challenging weather conditions. In the end, plan B ended up feeling like our plan A all along because the venue, the food, the staff, the whole experience was so special and romantic. After the wedding, ferry service shut down for 4 days and the Spring House was so accommodating to so many of our guests who ended up having an unplanned extended stay. Our guests all said they felt so taken care of the whole time. We would one thousand percent recommend Spring House to anybody planning a Block Island wedding! Wish we could do it again ◡̈

We had the absolute best wedding at the Spring House Hotel! Tanya was amazing to work with and super helpful when we had questions or were unsure of things. She went above and beyond in helping us navigate the unexpected weather issues that came up last minute and contacted all our vendors for us to make sure they were aware of the circumstances!! Everything about the Spring House is and was absolutely perfect for our August wedding. We chose the spot after having been to the island a handful of times, but without visiting or touring the hotel itself; it turned out to be even better than the pictures. More importantly, Tanya was so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She is so kind and so good at what she does, and she and her team will go above and beyond to make sure the weekend goes smoothly and your day is perfect. (I did not do a single thing to help set up on the day of the wedding and it all turned out exactly as we’d envisioned.) Not only did we love the day and the venue, our guests are still raving about it all—the raw bar, the beautiful setting and views, dancing in the parlor with an occasional break out on the porch, etc. No one wanted to go home at the end of the weekend (including us!), and it was really fun to soak all of that up on Sunday morning. I was hesitant to host a big bash of a wedding—and to ask many out-of-town guests to make the trip to the island—and it ended up being the very best day and 100% worth it. Cannot recommend the Spring House enough! It was truly the perfect venue.

The Spring House is an incredible venue, the views are unreal and the property is beautiful. What made our wedding an absolute dream of a day was Tanya and her team! From the very beginning of our conversations with Tanya, she has been responsive and professional. She goes out of her way to help you plan the perfect day. On our wedding day, we had quite a bit of wind with ferries getting cancelled on that day. Tanya had option A, B, and C ready for us and all were beautiful. We felt like we could put complete trust in the Spring House team on the day of our wedding which allowed us to take it all in and enjoy every moment! We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone planning a Block Island wedding- thank you Tanya and the Spring House team!

We simple cannot say enough amazing things about the Spring House. If I could I would give them 10 stars! Tanya and her team made our wedding day an absolute dream come true. They executed our vision and plan to such perfection. We had zero stress the days leading up to and even during our wedding because we could trust in the Spring House team. They make every decision and vendor coordination super easy, even with us not living close by. Many of our guest said “this is the best wedding venue we’ve ever been too”. I consider myself so lucky to have had our wedding here. It exceeded all expectations!!

Our wedding was the best day we could have asked for and it was thanks to Tanya and her team. Our guests are still raving about the food, quality of service, and of course the venue views. Tanya runs a well-oiled operation. From the ceremony to the end of the evening, not a beat was missed. I had ZERO stress on my wedding day because Tanya makes the process so seamless. Tanya and the team are attentive and kind, and truly make your day feel beyond special. There are not enough stars to give to this venue and team.

Where to begin. Start to finish, we had the best time. Aside from the fact that the venue is stunning, the staff and planner, Tanya, truly made planning the wedding that much more pleasurable. Everyone always says it all comes together on the day of, but the people behind the scenes are the reason why we found that sentiment to be true - and not to mention they do it with excellence, kindness, and grace. Tanya was always available for any questions we had and prompt with her replies. She is highly experienced and her guidance/check-ins helped us stay on track through planning. Tanya and the staff were highly accommodating and prioritized making our dream wedding come to fruition, making the Spring House feel like our own very special place (notwithstanding the fact that they host two - sometimes three - weddings a weekend!!). Finally, the food was delicious and everyone was absolutely raving after about the passed hors d’œuvres. We will forever hold the Spring House in the highest regard after our wedding and can’t wait to return next summer for a martini on the lawn. Highly highly highly recommend. The Spring House was the perfect wedding venue & a dream to work with. We could not have imagined our wedding anywhere else - the views from the lawn are spectacular, the convenience for guests to stay at the venue, the amazing food from cocktail hour all the way through dessert (+late night snacks!), and the staff (especially Tanya!) are truly amazing. Many of our wedding guests said that the food & overall experience made for one of the best weddings they've ever been to! We are beyond thrilled with our intimate wedding at the Spring House. Of course, the venue itself is gorgeous, and the food and drinks were amazing. But the true star was Tanya: Tanya was a pleasure to work with and was so helpful and organized throughout the planning process. Our wedding was magical at the Spring House! Tanya is fantastic and made sure to pay attention to every little detail and make sure very thing was perfect. We got married at The Spring House in May 2022 and could not be happier with our decision. Okay so I am a very late on writing this post but better late than never. Tanya and the Spring House team are AMAZING!!! My Husband and I had the privilege of getting married at the Spring House Memorial Day Weekend of 2019. Tanya was there every step of the way. She is a delight to work with. The staff were attentive, efficient, personable, and professional. Everything about the venue is perfect. The view, the food, the ambiance … 10/10 Thank you Tanya and Spring House for making our wedding like a dream! Since our wedding we visit every Memorial Day weekend and it keeps our anniversary so special!

Where do I begin? Five stars doesn’t even begin to cover it. I think everyone who has attended or hosted a wedding here knows that the Spring House is one of those most special places you can be. It’s the most beautiful hotel on the island and has such a charm to it. My favorite part of having our wedding there was getting to use all the grounds - the front lawn for the ceremony, the gorgeous porch for the cocktail hour, the back tent for dinner and their swanky parlor for dancing. And trust me - the night seamlessly flows even with the change of location. It also didn’t hurt that we had the sunniest June day….BUT their rain plan was also so appealing. The Spring House is the ultimate win-win. But what really makes the Spring House great is Tanya and the rest of the staff there. Someone once told me that “the landlord is just as important as the apartment itself,” and boy could that not be more true of venues and their associated coordinators. Tanya does it all - plain and simple. From the planning to day-of execution, Tanya is there through it all. She answered my million “quick question” emails within hours. She anticipates your needs and always asks the right questions so that your day is exactly how you envision. She treats everyone with respect and is honestly just a joy to be around. I can’t tell you how many friends and family members came up to me and said “that Tanya is just the best.” I’ve honestly never met someone so good at their job (although she is constantly going above and beyond her job description). She is what made our day so perfect and special and I can’t begin to repay her for that.

We worked with Tanya and the Spring House for three years (not by choice) due to two postponements for Covid. Throughout the entirety of these three years, Tanya was incredibly responsive, always flexible, and willing to accommodate the many changes that needed to be made to guest lists and vendors from 2020 until 2022. The day of our wedding, she was available from sunrise until nearly the end of the party, and was up early the next morning coordinating our brunch as well. We cannot speak more highly of Tanya Brenton and the service and experience we received through the Spring House.

I literally cannot say enough great things about Tanya and her team at the Spring House. From the first moment of contact a year and a half ago until our final goodbye from the island, Tanya was absolutely incredible to work with. She is so smart and capable, and so sweet and pleasant. Her response time throughout the planning process was amazing and she went above and beyond in every instance to help make our day absolutely perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous, with each part of the evening taking part in different areas of the venue - ceremony on the gorgeous front lawn, cocktail hour on the veranda, dinner on the tented back patio, and dancing in Victoria's Parlor. The food was incredible and the bartenders and waitstaff were so attentive and great at what they do. People may say wedding planning is stressful, but with the Spring House team I can honestly say I never once worried about how the day would go. Family and friends raved about the wedding, and my husband and I both said it was truly the best day our lives. Anyone considering the Spring House for their wedding should absolutely book, we wish we could repeat the experience every year!

Tanya & Team - The Dreammakers Tanya and her Spring House team are not just a venue and staff, they went above and beyond in every aspect making every dream come true (even my crazy moon water cocktail request). Our black tie wedding was not easy to execute and included the largest installation our florist team of 12 had done and multiple trucks to the island but Tanya ensured everything was flawless. Set on the hill overlooking the ocean, the Spring House provided not just historical charm but multiple locations (and therefore poor weather back up options) for us to plan our event without sacrificing the 'wow' factor. From the front lawn to covered wrap around veranda, the beautiful tented patio and stunning parlor, each location allowed us to create a curated experience for our guests. Spring House coordinator Tanya was patient, thorough, detail oriented and not only achieved everything we asked her, she and her team went above and beyond surprising us with synchronized plating from the amazing service staff. From appetizers to entrees to dessert and late night food, guests ate every single morsel and are still raving about how amazing the food was. Even my insanely picky dad is still talking about how exquisite his meal was. Tanya was the calming presence everyone wants during a crazy, condensed planning process. She made me feel like my wedding was the only event she was thinking about (despite that NOT being the case!).

The Spring House Hotel was the perfect location for our August 7, 2021 wedding. The venue was breath taking and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, but throughout it all the entire team at SH was so flexible and accommodating. Leading up to the wedding, Tanya was such a pleasure to work with. She was professional, responsive and supportive. She gave us guidance, made suggestions and helped us through the entire process. We had a nonstandard request, which she was able to work with Frank to get approved. During our wedding weekend, she was incredible! She met with us to go over the items we brought to the island and then transformed the whole place to bring our vision to life, working with all of our vendors (linens, flowers, lighting, band) to create beautiful spaces. Everyone is still raving about how amazing our wedding was and they can’t stop talking about the incredible food and drinks – the SH even brought in our favorite oysters for the raw bar! Kevin was also amazing in the hotel booking department; ensuring everything was reserved and blocked off for us – even making sure someone could pick up my disabled Grandmother from the ferry. Having the entire SH Inn to ourselves was wonderful! We truly can’t thank Tanya and the entire SH staff enough for such a magical wedding weekend.

Our entire wedding weekend went as well as we could have imagined! Tanya was so responsive through the whole process and we can’t thank her and her team enough. She was quick to respond and communicate from the beginning and keep us up to date on the forever changing CDC guidelines and covid requirements. From the second we got to Block Island to the minute we left, Tanya was hands on and there for us for whatever we needed from start to finish. There were no surprises for us at any point and Tanya really allowed for us to relax and enjoy the day. The food aspect of our evening was awesome as well. We realize we had an unconventional idea and it turned out perfect. Tanya went above and beyond to bring in sushi that the venue didn’t even offer on their catering menu for us. The band, flowers, lighting and outside vendors did fantastic and while we know the behind the scenes part of this wasn’t obvious to us, it’s clear Tanya worked extremely well with all the vendors and third parties involved. A huge THANK YOU to Tanya & The Spring House Hotel! We couldn’t have done it all without you!!

We got married at the Spring House Hotel in September 2021 and I cannot say enough great things about our experience! In my opinion, this is the best wedding venue on the island. The hotel location and reception areas are amazingly beautiful - our guests are still raving about it! The food and drink was excellent and the bar and dinner service were perfect. But what I think is most important for couples planning their wedding is how amazing the folks at The Spring House are - they are real professionals who know how to plan a perfect and seamless event and will do whatever they can to make your vision work. They offer many different options for locations and timing of wedding events (ceremony, happy hour, reception and dancing) and then help guests flow from one event to the next that makes the wedding flow so perfectly. We also loved that the venue does so much for you and you don’t have to worry about booking other vendors for every little detail (chair rentals, etc) — so once we booked the Spring House we just had to find music/DJ, photographer, and florist and then worked with the Spring House to plan the other little details. Everything else is included - they even order the linens for you - you just pick what you want! The wedding coordinator, Tanya, is truly incredible and was the best part of wedding planning! She is so much more than a wedding coordinator - she really almost served as my co-wedding planner and day-of-coordinator. She is the best and will make both your planning and wedding itself go so smoothly. We planned our wedding during COVID so had actually never seen the venue in person. Tanya was the best to work with - she is super kind, sweet and supportive. Despite this past year being insanely busy for wedding vendors, Tanya answered all my emails ridiculously fast and was always willing to jump on the phone and chat through anything. A few weeks before the wedding we got nervous about rising covid rates and decided to move the entire thing outside. Tanya and her team helped us get creative and went outside their usually flow of events to help us keep the entire wedding outside, and it still flowed perfectly! On the wedding day she was there early decorating everything for me and executing my vision perfectly. She was essential on the day - helping to coordinate vendors and keeping everyone on schedule. I didn’t hire a day-of coordinator and didn’t need one, thanks to Tanya! Our wedding details: we had an afternoon wedding with outdoor reception/dancing option - which meant our ceremony was on the back lawn at 3pm right into happy hour on the back patio and then the reception. Typically they would do dinner in the dining room and dancing/dessert in the patio - but given covid we had our dinner outside as well and they made it happen! The side yard and patio are absolutely beautiful and I liked it because it feels a bit more secluded from the rest of the hotel so you don’t have any other guests watching your wedding and ceremony. Other perks of the venue —they give you one room to use to get ready in which is beautiful and overlooks the patio and ocean. There are great places for photos around the Spring House, a beach within walking distance, or a quick drive to the Bluffs. Overall the wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted! I could not recommend this venue and their team any more strongly!

The Spring House Hotel was an amazing venue that deliverables all the attributes needed for a fantastic wedding. We were able to plan our entire wedding during covid and from the west coast! Tayna was so responsive throughout the entire planning process and when we arrived for the wedding weekend she was so cool, calm, and collected which really translated to us and our families. It was well worth having our family and friends travel and coordinate the ferry ride over, everyone that attended was very happy that they made the trip. Our guests loved the view and could not stop complimenting the food! We really wish that we could go back and re-live this day every weekend!

We got married at the Spring House this summer and it was an absolute dream!! It was truly magical and the best weekend of our lives! The hotel is iconic to Block Island, the views are incredible and the property is absolutely stunning. We spent about a year and a half working with Tanya to plan our wedding, she is an absolute gem and such a pleasure to work with. She takes so much stress out of wedding planning and we are so grateful to have had all of her help. Her attention to detail is impeccable, she is organized, extremely prompt, and her calm demeanor is exactly what you want around you on your wedding day! The food was 10/10, our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was and many have said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Another gem of the property is Vlad, he rocks the bar and we could not of had such a great guest experience without him. He went above and beyond the whole weekend to make our experience there exceptional. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, we could not have wished for a better day. We celebrated our wedding at the Spring House on July 11, 2021 and could not have asked for a more amazing day - and that is due to the Spring House! We had to postpone due to COVID - and Tanya (coordinator at the SH) was PHENOMENAL. She has the best attitude, is so professional and made our day so easy! I emailed her with SO many questions and she always answered promptly. The week of the wedding I dropped off all the details - and the day of they completely exceeded my expectations. Not to mention the service and food - 100/10 (guests are STILL raving about the chicken egg rolls). Booking the Spring House and working with Tanya will be the best decision you make for your wedding!

Our wedding day at the Spring House could not have been more perfect. We could tell the venue was special and unique from the first time we visited, but it still managed to exceed all of our expectations. Tanya is the best wedding planner we could have asked for. She is an excellent communicator and has an amazing attention to detail. Both her and the Spring House were so helpful from the time we signed our original contract, to postponing the wedding due to the pandemic, to finally walking down the aisle over two years later. On the day of our wedding, everything ran SO smoothly and it was all because of Tanya and her team. Every one of our vendors told us we were in excellent hands and they couldn’t have been more correct. There is no venue quite like Spring House. Our ceremony took place on the lawn with one of the most gorgeous backdrops in the world. We held cocktail hour on the massive wrap around porch overlooking the ocean, followed by dinner on the back patio and ultimately dancing in Victoria’s Parlor! Countless friends and family talked about how free flowing the day was that it was the BEST wedding they ever attended. We can’t thank the Spring House and Tanya enough for how beautiful and special they made our wedding day and it could not have been a better way to start our lives together. We can’t wait to enjoy martinis on the lawn for years to come :)

Words could never describe how absolutely PERFECT my wedding was. I wish I could relive that day over and over again. I have dreamed of getting married at the Spring House since I was a little girl, and finally my dream came true! The location, history and aesthetics of the venue make it a dream location for a wedding in itself. Add in the impeccable service, quality food and drink, and welcoming hospitality--- you can't beat it. Tanya is a blessing and made the wedding planning experience easy and enjoyable. She is extremely organized and detail-oriented, and her calm demeanor is what every bride needs. Both the front and back of house staff deserve a HUGE shoutout as well. The service was flawless! The servers would even pull my husband and I aside to make sure we were eating and always had a drink in hand. As for the food and cocktails, almost every single guest personally told me that they were blown away. Multiple guests went back to Spring House the next day for lunch AND dinner. They couldn't get enough! You know your wedding is incredible when you overhear your guests saying "this is the best wedding I have ever been to". Best day of my entire life!! Tanya and the spring house staff exceeded every expectation. It was everything I wanted and more. They were so organized and on top of everything that I didn’t have to worry about anything on our special day. So professional and such a friendly staff. And the venue is something out of a magazine!

It would be impossible to describe the magical experience that is planning a wedding with Tanya at The Spring House! From the very beginning, she communicated with clarity, kindness, and promptness in order to help us put together our dream day. Even through a pandemic, a rainstorm, and many other surprises, Tanya stayed calm and kept our minds at ease! Our day at the beautiful Spring House was an absolute dream, and our guests were comfortable and happy throughout the day. Additionally, every other member of the staff was friendly and easy to work with. Everything about The Spring House is beyond perfect. There is NO other place to host your wedding if you're considering Block Island!!

We could not recommend this venue enough! As much as getting married is an absolute joy, the process of planning involves so many steps and decisions, never mind when you are planning that wedding during a pandemic! After many months of constant adjustment, WE DID IT! We had the absolute most amazing day and could not have done it without the team, most importantly Tanya, event coordinator, at Spring House. The service was impeccable. The bar, more than timely. Our servers, thoughtful, quick and dedicated. Our venue was supportive, creative and flexible in doing everything they could to make this day exactly what we wanted and expected despite 2020's many rules and restrictions. They worked with us make our day immensely original and memorable, while still adhering to all of the state guidelines for safety. In all honestly, we never felt restricted, and in brainstorming together, we were forced to think outside the box to create a day that we otherwise would likely not have had the opportunity to. The entire staff was fully invested in making our day exceptionable! And I cannot say enough about the food. We are not talking about the usual wedding food here. Every single guest commented on how deliciously satisfying the food was. The apps just kept coming, and dinner was on point. Thanks to our chef Brian, and the Spring House kitchen crew! Where do we even begin!? We had been planning our big day for over a year and a half and from the start Tanya was literally a dream. We were so excited to get married on our favorite little island surrounded by our closest friends/family. Throughout the pandemic Tanya kept us informed, she supported us and she gave us HOPE of still having our day! During each step she made the process painless, easy and fun. We LOVED planning our wedding because of Tanya. She never failed to be three steps ahead of our thinking and had every detail ready. You can 110% tell that she LOVES what she does. Our actual wedding day was a dream. All precautions were in place to keep guests and staff safe. Tanya made everything flow absolutely perfectly. We could go on and on... our day wouldn’t of happened without her. The Spring House overall was truly fantastic - from the staff, the AMAAAAAAZING food and drinks and beyond. Absolutely would recommend Tanya and the Spring House for your big day. We would do it all over again if we could!!!

If you want to have the most beautiful and breath taking wedding book it at the Spring House! We fell in love with the Spring House the first time we saw it and knew there was nowhere else as special to have our wedding. The wedding coordinator, Tanya, was the best from the very beginning. She helped us every step of the way to plan our wedding...then plan it again after postponing! Tanya had every little detail covered even when we didn't. We were in contact nonstop leading up to our wedding and she always made me feel like everything was under control even in these crazy circumstances. The wedding itself was a dream. The food at Spring House is amazing and the team that worked our wedding was the absolute best. They were so attentive and helpful and everything flowed so smoothly. I felt like I just floated through the day with no stress whatsoever. I honestly can't thank everyone at the Spring House enough for pulling our wedding together so perfectly, especially during these hard times. We can't wait to go back and our entire family fell in love with the Spring House because...how can you not? I'll leave it at that! Tanya, thank you a million times over!!!

Words cannot even begin to describe how thrilled we were with our wedding at the Spring House. As a lifetime Block Island goer, my husband and I both knew the island was the place we wanted to tie the knot. As one of the most iconic buildings on Block, the Spring House was an easy choice. From the time we locked in our wedding date, up to the wedding day, the wedding coordinator, Tanya, was there to answer every single question we had as we began wedding planning and then navigated the ever changing waters of COVID-19 wedding planning. She kept us on track, helped calm our nerves, and was there to make sure our entire day went perfectly. The entire Spring House staff who worked our wedding could not have been nicer. We worked with one of the bar tenders to create our signature drinks and had a blast during our food tasting event. The food at our wedding was a huge hit with all guests as well - mini lobster rolls, grilled cheese and tomato soup bites, and bacon wrapped scallops were some of the ultimate crowd pleasers, as were the amazing entrees we all enjoyed. Overall, I would 100% recommend the Spring House for your wedding. Between the view, the amazing service, and the best wedding coordinator around, you will certainly be blown away with your wedding day :).

When you work with THE BEST, your wedding day is the best!! My husband and I fell in love with the Spring House Hotel the moment we saw it and our experience from the beginning was exceptional. This is ALL thanks to TANYA! From countless emails , to details we hadn’t thought of, from covid rescheduling to necessary precautions to keep our guests safe- Tanya was guiding us every step of the way! She is a rockstar and took care of anything and everything you could think of. Her quick response when we needed anything put our minds at ease- planning and timelines and all those little details- she makes it feel so so easy! The entire staff at the Spring House Hotel made our guests feel so taken care of- we are grateful to you all! The service, the drinks, the amazing appetizers (fritters!!!), and perfectly cooked entrees for our entire wedding- you can’t beat the Spring House! Thank you for the most outstanding wedding day! I used to work at the Spring House, so totally biased here, BUT I'm also a wedding photographer and have shot at so many venues. You will not find an onsite coordinator like Tanya! She always goes above and beyond for her clients and works hard to ensure that your dreams come true.

This review long over due, but we were married at the Spring House in September of 2019 and we couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience from start to finish. Tanya was so great - responsive and helpful in every way possible. She also has a calm presence and go with the flow attitude which we really appreciated. There was a hurricane that hit BI the day before our wedding and Tanya worked with us on a Plan B in case the weather didn't cooperate for our outside ceremony. She allowed us to take as much time as possible to make our final decision and luckily enough the skies cleared morning of, and everything worked out perfectly. Really we can't say enough great things about Tanya and the whole team - from servers and bartenders, to managers and hotel employees - everyone was so attentive. Now the food. Aside from our regular mudslide happy hours and occasional apps on the lawn, we hadn't eaten a full meal at the Spring House until our wedding night, so we didn't have any real expectations, thinking wedding food was wedding food. But the chef and his crew definitely made an impression, the food was AMAZING and we got non-stop compliments from friends and family all night long - and still til this day letting us know it was the best wedding food they've ever had. From the penne a la vodka (a must-have), to the filet, to the mac and cheese bar (which disappeared in the first 10 minutes of cocktail hour), it couldn't have been better. We can't thank everyone at the Spring House enough for the most magical weekend ever. I'm continually asking N if we can have another wedding so we can relive the weekend all over again.

My wedding at the spring house was better than I could have ever imagined. :) I had a small wedding of 40 guests. I got married on the lawn and had my reception on the covered patio. Tanya, the wedding coordinator was fantastic. She always responded to my calls or emails in a timely fashion and helped me to plan my wedding details across the county. She had recommendations for vendors, was always calm and nice, and really made my big day go smoothly. She is very thorough and really helped me to make our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. My husband and I got married at the Spring House on October 5, 2019 and it was the most perfect day I could have imagined! Tanya Brenton was our event coordinator and was so pleasant to work with! From the time we started planning to even after our wedding she made sure everything was in place and kept us calm and relaxed the entire weekend. We did not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding and that shows how well Tanya and the staff at the Spring House perform. The food was absolutely delicious... as one of our guests commented that it was the best food that they have ever had at a wedding! The wait staff and bartenders were also exceptional and catered to our every need. The next day they had everything packed for us and ready to go so we didn't have to go searching for items left behind. I did a lot of research with our wedding and we were so happy we chose the Spring House! I would definitely recommend this place is you want the perfect wedding!!

We got married at the Spring House on 9/28/19 and it was a DREAM COME TRUE. We love Block Island, and each time we have visited we made sure to squeeze in a drink at the Spring House. We would sit in the Adirondack chairs looking out at the ocean, and talk about how cool it would be to get married there one day. We booked this venue a year and 8 month prior to our wedding, before Tanya was even the coordinator! She stepped into the role like a pro. Since our engagement was long, we even had the pleasant surprise of venue renovations, like the back patio extending large enough for our 200 guests to have dinner out there. Everything was falling into place perfectly. Tanya was amazing to work with, she kept us on track with planning while still giving off a very calming sense. I was concerned about the flow of events with the large guest count, since the ceremony was on the front lawn, dinner on the back patio, and dancing in the parlor... but Tanya assured me it would be seamless, and she was right!! We visited the island a few times to plan, and she would be great about meeting up to chat and even showed me a wedding all set up (what could have been a stressful time for her)! She answered all 100 of my “quick question” emails in a very timely manner, and was even flexible about last minute details like adding a table if needed. We arrived to the island for our Saturday wedding on Thursday. The forecast was sunny and 70s the entire weekend and we were on Cloud 9. We met with Tanya Thursday morning to give her all of our decor, and she was extremely helpful even unloading boxes from our car. Then we were off to enjoy ourselves! It truly felt like our guests took over the island having a wedding late September, and we loved it!! Friday was the rehearsal which she allowed us to run through on the front lawn while another wedding was having dinner on the back patio (impressive), and it was quick and painless, which is shocking to say since we had a rowdy 20 person bridal party. The day of was flawless. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful on the front lawn and the food was amazing!! A lot of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I couldn’t suggest this venue more!!! Everything all went perfectly thanks to Tanya and everyone at the Spring House.

We had our big day at the spring house in late September 2019. It was beyond our most perfect dreams! The food, service, ambience, decor, drinks and attention to detail were pristine! We couldn’t have done it without their wedding coordinator, Tanya, who is a GEM! She was incredible throughout the whole process and followed through on every piece of our vision on the big day. People ask us would you change anything and the answer is no. Everything was picture perfect!! We are so grateful for this magical place!

Tanya Brenton MADE our wedding at the Spring House Hotel. I had grown up going to BI in the summer, and always knew I wanted a Spring House wedding. The Spring House was gorgeous, per usual, but Tanya made the whole wedding planning and day of experience so enjoyable. We could not have had more confidence in Tanya, and we really appreciated her speedy communication, flexibility, and attention to detail all along. You cannot go wrong with Tanya by your side!

There isn't enough time or words to accurately describe what it was like to work with Tanya and the entire team at the Spring House for our wedding. From my first interaction with Tanya, she embodied confidence and kindness but most importantly had a very calming way about her that really stuck out to me. Planning a wedding on Block Island presents it's challenges but Tanya's responsiveness, creativity, organization and professionalism made it easy. Our guests have been raving about the wedding and food (swordfish, lamb, chicken champagne), saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. The bartenders in the parlor created a great rapport with our bar flies. The staff really ended up feeling like a part of our family. Thank you to the whole team for acquiescing to our specific requests, for being on your toes when Hurricane Dorian tried to impact our day and for making this incredible event happen! The Spring House will always be a special place for us. Book them!

It's hard to find the words to describe our wedding at the Spring House. And although I hate to use this cliche and sappy phrase, the day simply was...MAGICAL. The Hotel has long been one of our favorite destinations on Block Island and we knew it would be a beautiful place to host a wedding, but even our high expectations were far exceeded by the incredibly detail oriented and attentive staff. We worked with Tanya who was always responsive to our sometimes frantic and miscellaneous questions throughout the entire year. On the wedding weekend, Tanya was always there available to check in with and confirm that everything would be set up to our liking. She ensured every tiny piece of decor was set up just how we had described with absolutely no confusion. It put my mom and I at ease knowing that Tanya was in charge of setting everything up. When I came out to see the room, I was absolutely speechless. Everything came together so beautifully and it was all thanks to Tanya and her incredibly hard working staff. Tanya stayed at the Spring House throughout the entirety of the wedding, always moving us along to make sure we kept on time. She also coordinated with all of my vendors and kept them on schedule as well which saved me a lot of time and additional stress! We also noticed that the following day when we woke up early for breakfast, Tanya was already there setting up for the next wedding! She is extremely organized and on top of everything all while being friendly and CALM which allowed us all to relax during what could've been a stressful time. She is a true professional in every sense. The venue, the food and the staff could not possibly be better anywhere else. After going to multiple weddings this year alone, I have never been more struck by the beauty of a venue the way I have been with the Spring House. If you are considering the Spring House, do it. You will absolutely not regret it. It's beauty and service will give you and your families an experience they will never forget!

Planning a wedding can be stressful. Tanya Brenton was a calming presence throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail, organization and professionalism surpassed all of our expectations and resulted in a spectacular wedding day that impressed us as well as all of our guests, many of whom have told us that it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Tanya responded quickly to any questions we had during the planning phase and she was instrumental in creating the perfect day– from helping us secure babysitting services for our guests’ children, to securing additional rooms outside the hotel, to locating the perfect hair stylist for the wedding party, to acquiring special alcohol to serve during the reception. Some of our elderly guests had difficulty getting around. Not only did Tanya provide seating accommodations for them during the ceremony, but she even hopped in the Spring House van and drove them down the hill to the rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. Our ceremony was on the front lawn of the hotel, which provided amazing views and picture perfect photos. The cocktail hour on the veranda allowed our guests to savor the view while enjoying each other’s company and the delicious appetizers we had selected. When we moved inside to the main dining room for dinner, we were welcomed by an army of friendly and attentive servers. Wedding dinners often are forgettable. The Spring House Hotel worked with us to create a customized menu that made a lasting impression on our guests. As the dancing came to an end, long after the hotel’s kitchen had closed, we decided that we wanted to provide late night snacks for our guests. Tanya did not skip a beat and before we knew it, she had made arrangements for delivery from an outside vendor to fulfill every last request. We enjoyed working with Tanya and every vendor with whom we worked sang her praises. The Spring House Hotel provided a storybook setting, a delicious meal and wonderful amenities for a truly perfect day.
