Spring Mill Ballroom

Agree with review below. Even now manager is poor and staff rude. Had a very similiar experience. Until current management (Terri) changes, go elsewhere. Ballroom is nice but you can find a better experience in same area. Had great experiences in the past renting this facility but will not use again until it improves.

My wedding was held here on May 20,2000. PTG was the recommended caterer. My husband and I can not say enough about the staff of Spring Mill Ballroom and PTG Caterers. Everything was perfect down to the last detail.My family and friends still talk about our wedding. I highly recommend this venue and caterer for your wedding. You will not be sorry. My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception here...and it couldn’t have been more perfect day from start to finish! All of our guests had a wonderful time, with dancing, delicious food and drinks. The people were easy to work with and were very accommodating with our needs. I would recommend this venue confidently. Ask questions and get to know the staff. They are there to help you make the most memorable day to remember !

I was part of the bridal party for a wedding that was celebrated here. Prior to the wedding I had gone to the venue with the bride and groom so they could check out the place; everything seemed to go well. The ballroom manager (she was blonde; I forget her name) was enthusiastic, ensured our belongings would be secured in the bridal suite that was in the back and that she would be available the day of the event with anything the bride and groom needed. Day of the venue: she was no where to be found. Every time we walked past her office she just didn't happen to be there. The bridal party kept their belongings in the suite but because of the location being close to the fire escape doors we were uncomfortable leaving the door unlocked, so we frequently went there. The catering staff was unprofessional, all sitting in the back, as if they had nothing to do. It wasn't until the end of the night that the ballroom manager actually showed her face; it was to close the bar, unannounced. Her, alongside the bartenders were rude and when the guests wondered why they weren't notified any sooner one of the bartenders scoffed saying "there is no last call". They served skunked beer, served it from plastic cups and when they were given large bills to break, they pocketed it. DON'T have your wedding here. I'm sure they can handle a simple luncheon but anything that requires going above and beyond for guests of honor, don't expect them to.
