rything seemed to go well. The ballroom manager (she was blonde; I forget her name) was enthusiastic, ensured our belongings would be secured in the bridal suite that was in the back and that she would be available the day of the event with anything the bride and groom needed. Day of the venue: she was no where to be found. Every time we walked past her office she just didn't happen to be there. The bridal party kept their belongings in the suite but because of the location being close to the fire escape doors we were uncomfortable leaving the door unlocked, so we frequently went there. The catering staff was unprofessional, all sitting in the back, as if they had nothing to do. It wasn't until the end of the night that the ballroom manager actually showed her face; it was to close the bar, unannounced. Her, alongside the bartenders were rude and when the guests wondered why they weren't notified any sooner one of the bartenders scoffed saying "there is no last call". They served skunked beer, served it from plastic cups and when they were given large bills to break, they pocketed it. DON'T have your wedding here. I'm sure they can handle a simple luncheon but anything that requires going above and beyond for guests of honor, don't expect them to.
