There was great communication between the hotel and my family in regards to the needs of our guests. They were very flexible on adding or removing hotel rooms to our blocked off group. Spring Hill Suites is also very affordable with the special group rate they offer; our traveling guests appreciated the price!
We looked through three hotels in the Eden Prairie area (The Hyatt being the WORST one to work with- not flexible, very unfriendly and unprofessional) and went with SpringHill Suit...
es because they were the most flexible with their shuttle and room prices. We had a lot of OOT guests so we needed some place that would shuttle them and block off a lot of rooms for us. I worked with Kelleen to set everything up and she was very nice. They were accommodating to the fact that we needed a lot of rooms and a shuttle. Our guests were VERY loud on the Friday before the wedding in the pool area and on our floor and no one said anything which was nice and surprising. The front desk staff didn’t give 4 of my guests OOT welcome bags- which after I went down and questioned them turns out there was just a misunderstanding and they were super apologetic about. The shuttle driver was a little on the grumpy side and not friendly to guests. He got a little confused about pick up/drop off times but again after I talked to him he was fine- people seem to want to do what the bride wants and make her happy =). They had a huge continental breakfast and are close to the Target, EP Center and Cub Foods which is nice. Overall I would suggest letting your guests stay there- just work out the details with the shuttle driver to a tee!!
