All the staff here were great.
When the outside temperature was below freezing they didn't have the ability to heat the rooms with the thermostat, I wore my coat inside my room until it warmed up a few days later.

ut it is hidden away far from the window and it feels like working from a basement. I moved the desk around so it would be more pleasant. I didn't remember to bring to management's attention that a couple bulbs in the room were continuously flickering.
The free breakfast was good.
Only 2 of 3 elevators working, but there was never an excessive wait.

ys for a conference and requested a 4 pm checkout (for Marriott Ambassadors) because I was speaking at 2 pm. The request was approved through the check-in app. On the morning of checkout, I went to the desk to confirm my 4 pm checkout. They told me they had cancelled it due to my room type and needed the room. No upfront communication regarding it was given. I explained that I needed a late check-out to finish my meeting and then return to change before my flight. No give. They said, "You can leave your bag here, and then we can give you a room to change in". Without arguing, I agreed, but was very disgusted. When I returned to change, the "room" they gave me was the public bathroom next to the pool, which was the most unhygienic bathroom I had ever seen. Avoid it here if you are a loyalty member. Sadly, they are in a good location and can continue to do this.

ile, or making you feel at home, or welcome, but instead addressing a baseline of what would be ordinarily expected from the customer facing people at a hotel, and how far off the mark this hotel staff is.
Front desk: Every time I interacted with the front desk staff, they made you feel as though you are inconveniencing them at their job. Most notably regarding packages I sent myself at the hotel. Each time I asked to check on the status of my packages they were visibly annoyed. They did not want to check to confirm if the packages had been delivered. One associate looked behind her at the front desk and said, “ nope, I don’t see anything”. I had to ask her to check the package room to which she rolled her eyes and said “fine”. Another instance, I had proof of delivery of 3 packages and the associate grabbed one. I then let her know there were two more. She grabbed another and I mentioned I had one more. It was never found. I had a total of two packages for which I had a POD which I never received from the front desk. Another time, they refused to bring delivered packages to my room, which is a common service at a hotel and an opportunity for tips to the associate providing the service.
In addition to the lack of friendliness, and customer served the rooms were in poor condition. Broken toilet, thermostat issues, and poor maid service.
I will continue to stay at Marriott properties as 99% of the time everything from property to staff is exceptional. This particular location needs a change in management as associates attitudes are most often a reflection of leadership.

I had a reservation at this hotel, that I cancelled before the 4 days before cancellation deadline. They still charged me for a one-night stay as an advanced deposit (on a cancelled reservation). My reservation with them did NOT say they would ...
be charging my credit card a week in advance, I was supposed to pay when I arrived at the hotel. And they shouldn't be charging me on something I've already cancelled! They say they have issued a refund, but that it'll take a few days before I see it. We shall see. Still not good business practice to 1) not let customers know about their billing practices and 2) still charge someone who has already cancelled their reservatoin.
