From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed like family. Marie went above and beyond to help me find the perfect mother of the bride dress. Marie continued to exceed our expectations to help my daughter find her bridesmaids dresses she even called the manufacturer! When my daughter asked if they would be willing to do the alterations on her gown from Another salon they were more than happy to do it. When it came time for the alterations Maria and Dita were absolutely amazing! They are gracious, professional , and expert seamstresses! I can not say enough wonderful things about both the staff and the shop itself! I felt like an absolute queen on my wedding day. Everyone was taken aback by the detail my dress had, and my veil and crown were truly one of a kind. Other dress shops in the area do not even come close to comparing to them, they are a step above not only in quality, choice selections and style but their store is super cute and clean and everyone is FRIENDLY! They are also extremely accommodating. They even held my dress for me till the day before the wedding because I was worried about my dogs hair at home. I would buy again from them any day! Do not waste your time anywhere else. I wish I could give them more then 5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Getting my dress from Spybaby was a fairytale experience. I came in a little insecure, but I shared my concerns with Marie and she immediately understood and helped me find my perfect dress. The entire experience was wonderful. For the fittings and pickup, Marie was very understanding that I was coming in from out of town and was very flexible to accommodate the dates and times that worked for me. Thank you so much, Spybaby!

I'm so glad I got my dress at Spybaby Bridal. The dress was gorgeous. They really took the time to understand what I wanted in a dress and to make me feel comfortable. I had been to a few other stores and had been frustrated by the selection and the attentiveness of the staff but walking into Spybaby put me at ease. The selection was great and the staff was absolutely amazing. They worked with me on the dress fitting schedule, even doing two of my appointments on the same day so that I knew I would be able to get the fittings done while I was in town. It couldn't have been a better experience, I'm so glad I said yes to my dress at Spybaby Bridal.

While I found Spybaby's new wedding dresses prohibitively expensive, I ended up buying a beautiful discounted floor sample from one of their holiday sales. Their alterations were also top-of-the-line prices, but the seamstress we worked with (Maria) was stupendous. We could not have asked for a more dedicated and experienced dressmaker...she was extremely accommodating, and did a beautiful job making changes to the gown to my taste. I will say that the front-end service at Spybaby's did give us some trouble...they are a bit pushy about following up on bridal appointments, and they double-booked my second dress fitting. We had to wait to be seen only after their other double-booked client was finished...as a bride from out-of-town on a tight schedule, this was considerably inconvenient. Overall, though, I was content with the services they provided, and they made the alteration process run smoothly.

The staff at Spybaby was incredibly friendly and helpful but their seamstress Maria was what set them above everyone else. She was very honest with me about what fabrics would look best, and how everything fit me. She did a beautiful job with the alterations and saved me from adding cap to sleeves to the dress, which after her alterations was gorgeous. They had a quick turn around time and had no problem with all of my fittings for last minuet changes.

I cannot say enough great things about spybaby! I moved my wedding date from May to February and they were unphased by this. Had my dress done on short notice and Marie did so much work to get my bridesmaid dressed rush ordered. Truly went above and beyond to make my day possible.

After working with everyone at Spybaby Bridal, I felt that I absolutely needed to write a review about my bridal experience. I could not have dreamed of a better group of people to work with while finding and fitting my bridal gown. The knowledge and experience of the employees surpassed any other bridal boutique that I walked into. Marie and Maria are extremely kind and gracious. I cannot wait to wear my gown! They made the entire experience one that I will always remember and I am extremely grateful to them.

Spybaby Bridal is an excellent company to work with! There are many other choices in the Syracuse area but none that I have heard as many good things about....sooo my first and only stop was SpyBaby. From the moment you walk through the door they make you feel so welcome. I had a wonderful young woman assigned to my bridal party and I and we had her attention the ENTIRE time we were there. She helped me into and out of every dress that I couldn't manage to do on my own! They were supportive and honest in their feedback and I found the most GORGEOUS dress. Thank you!

I, sadly, didn't end up getting my wedding dress from Spybaby but I went there for multiple trying on dresses sessions and the staff was very wonderful. They dresses they have are beautiful, one of the best selections in the area. My sister did actually end up buying her dress there as well as my mom's mother-of-the-bride gown and two of my prom dresses in high school. I've always loved this spot.

Unfortunately, this was the worst experience of wedding planning thus far. Even though I made an appointment, there were about 2-3 other brides trying on dresses, which immediately created a feel of chaos. When you first walk in, you are told to take off your shoes. What a welcoming greeting. Then, paperwork is shoved at you that explains it will not share your info with anyone else (more on this later) and offered a skincare consult for free. I declined but was told I still had to fill out a few questions for it. Now, the dresses - they are old, totally worn and to the point of falling apart and none seemed stylish at all. The associate helping me ignored what I liked and brought in styles that she must have been trying to move. Every dress that I tried on was dirty and so beat up. I was told to "imagine" how I'd look. So, clamped into a dress that is 14 sizes too big, yellowing with beading actually missing, I was supposed to feel good and confident enough to make a purchase? Also, the room where you try on dresses is just one giant area so everyone else's family stares as you walk out. The associates couldn't care less. I had to fight back tears in the car for the drive home. To make matters worse, an hour later I received an email from the skincare consulting questions (that said they wouldn't share my email), trying to sell me products that I never wanted. NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. I would not trust spending my money here. Nothing was organized or enjoyable. They clearly only want to take advantage of brides. Please, save yourself the struggle and let down and shop elsewhere.

This was the first place I went to looking for a dress. I walked in to look around, no appointment, not expecting to get to try anything on. The staff was super friendly and helpful and got us a room and brought me dresses. It was super fun and they found my dream dress.

I'd never thought much about wedding dresses before, and didn't think that shopping for one would be a very enjoyable experience. However, the staff at Spybaby were excellent, and made the process wonderful. They helped me find a gorgeous dress that I felt beautiful in, and everyone there was so lovely every time I went in.

Ali helped me find the most gorgeous dress I've ever seen. I had shopped around and came in thinking I knew what I wanted. I ended up with something a little different and completely and utterly perfect. They were so nice, welcoming, accommodating and happy. It was by far the best bridal appointment. So highly recommend this wonderful salon.

Spybaby Bridal was the first place I went in Syracuse, because I figured they'd have the most variety, and they absolutely did. I had an idea of what I wanted, or really of what I didn't want. I knew I didn't want strapless, I didn't want sparkle, I didn't want to look like a disney princess. I wanted something classic and timeless, with a modern twist, and some sexiness. I tried on a bunch of dresses, even some I figured I wouldn't like. The attendant helping me was really supportive in helping me make decisions, since there are so many gowns to try on. She really encouraged me to use my intuition, and not second guess myself. The moment I put on my dress, I felt fashionable, yet classic, sexy, yet conservative. Since I was planning my wedding from out of town, they let me hold the dress for the weekend, before deciding it was the one. I tried a few other places in the area, but all of the dresses were basically the same- ugly, sparkly, poofy, strapless, not for me. I went back to Spybaby and had to order the dress with some alterations. Again, since I live out of town, Spybaby held onto my dress right until the day before the wedding. Each time I'd come into town, I'd just call and make an appointment for a fitting. And each time I did I was able to bring different shoes and jewelry so that I could figure out my look. The only issues I had were that when I went for a fitting a few months before the wedding, the seamstress had pinned my dress with the wrong bustle. Fortunately she hadn't sewn it yet, but I had to be firm that we had agreed on a different bustle, and that she needed to make sure it was correct. Also about 5 days before the wedding I went in for a fitting. There were still a few alterations to be completed, and they were acting like they had all the time in the world. I reminded them that my wedding was 5 days away, and they all looked like a ghost walked in the room. It was wedding season, so they were very busy, but they had made an error, thinking that my wedding was 2 weeks away, rather than 5 days. The seamstress got to work and the dress was fortunately finished with a few days to spare. Im looking at the wedding pictures now, I do see where there could have been just 1 or 2 more simple alterations to make everything flawlessly perfect, like tightening a strap, and tacking some lace, but overall no one else would have noticed, and I am very pleased. My words of advise, with any bridal shop really, is to be your own advocate. They are very busy, and the don't remember every detail of what you want, so you have to speak up for yourself. I think Spybaby Bridal has the best variety and quality of dresses in Syracuse, and I recommend them.

One Word: AWFUL. I went on a Saturday, I had an appointment, although they treated me as if I didn't, and questioned me several times about it as soon as I walked in the door. The girl who was supposed to be helping us, Shelby, was completely useless. I pulled a few dresses that I liked and she just had no idea how to help me. She pulled dresses that were nothing like I was describing to her. She also continued to pull size 6 dresses for me to try on...a size 6 I am not. I told her I wear a size 10 jeans and medium in shirts. When the 6's weren't fitting (obviously), she started pulling size 22 dresses. They were so big I couldn't tell what they looked like on me because they were about twice the size I needed. When I said something to her about it, she had a snotty remark about how I wasn't going to try dresses on in my exact size. I obviously knew this, but your telling me the store has no sizes between a 6 & 22? Also, she didn't help me put any of the dresses on. Every other store I've been to, the associates help you get into the dress so it's on right and you don't ruin their dresses. I found a dress I loved, and would have spent over $2,000 there, but I was so disgusted by the awful customer service that we left the store, and none of the associates could have cared less. I'll take my money elsewhere, thanks.

I paid $400 for alterations on my dress, Maggie Sottero Adorae (Long train). Within minutes of my MOH doing my bustle it started coming undone. The seamstress had her practice the bustle at my fittings... She knew what she was doing, but multiple strings she had sewn in literally ripped off of the dress. I spent the entire cocktail hour getting hundreds and hundreds of safety pins pinned into my dress to try to make a "bustle" which ultimately only half worked. So I missed cocktail hour (which I did first look specifically so I could attend) and had to dance with people stepping on my train the entire night. I e-mailed the shop's owner twice to let her know this had happened and never received a response... Once they take your money they don't care about you... I also paid to get my rehearsal dinner dress altered (dropped off in June) and the seamstress just kept saying she couldn't fit it in... 3 days before the wedding (which was Aug 21st!! 2 Full months later) it was finally done, I went in and it was entirely too tight in the chest area. I had to go out and buy a new one, just what a bride wants to be doing 3 days before her wedding... I was honestly shocked that I didn't get a response back, a simple apology would have been nice... Stay away!

I had my alterations done at Spybaby in Syracuse, and I was so incredibly happy with the experience. I needed a lot of hand holding with any changes to my dress. I had found exactly what I wanted in almost my size at Spybaby's Off the Rack store, and Spybaby provided the alterations. Everything came out beautifully, comfortably, and at a reasonable cost.

I bought my wedding dress from Spybaby Bridal. They have a large selection of dresses, though the space is relatively small so it is difficult to sort through all of the gowns. The attendants were really helpful in getting me in the dresses and selecting dresses that I might like. They give you a slight discount if you pay in full when you order the dress. I ordered my dress in white 8 months before my wedding, and 5 months later they called me to tell me it was only available in ivory. I had already paid for the dress so I accepted the dress in ivory and they threw in the alterations for free. I feel like they should have had this information for me when I placed the order. My fitting went well and the alterations were completed in a timely fashion. Overall I was really happy with my dress and satisfied with my experience at Spybaby.

I live in the schenectady area but drove out to them. They were one of the only shops that carried the dress I wanted. They were so helpful, mailed me swatches and the day I did alterations the afternoon was blocked off so I didn't need to make multiple trips!

I found my dress on the first day shopping. I started at SpyBaby, went to a few other boutiques, then came back for the first dress. Having a short engagement I was thrilled to find the gown I wanted in my size and off the rack discounted. Nice staff and good selection of gowns.

I visited quite a few wedding dress stores looking for a dress. I had a very specific idea of what dress I wanted and Spybaby gave me a few dress styles to look up before I even went in. I was out of town from the shop, which I found incredibly helpful. Service while buying my dress was great, however once the dress was purchased, I got the run around quite a few times on when the dress would be delivered, alterations, etc. Several employees would tell me they would call me back and never would. They have a great selection - but be mindful that their service needs improvement.

Everyone at SpyBaby was extremely helpful during the dress hunting process. In particular, Erica and Marie (the owner) always went out of their way to help me. They all knew me by name and I felt right at home every time I went in there. I described the dress I was looking for and Erica hit it right on the nose immediately! I couldn't have asked for better service... and all at a very reasonable price!

Spybabys went above and beyond for my dress. The made custom alterations to make my dress all my own. The workers are attentive, they have instinct for each brides' style. Each time I went in they made me feel so special. Just a great experience!

Marie and Erica did a great job helping find my perfect wedding dress, as well as helping my mom and grandmother find their dresses. There was so much to choose from, it made finding exactly what we wanted easy. I chose to extend the train on my dress, which required a few dress fittings. Every fitting Maria, the seamstress, made so much progress and did exactly what I hoped for. She was "spot on" with every alteration. I wouldn't have wanted my dress to come from anywhere else. Highly recommend Spybaby's and the staff!

I bought my wedding dress (Maggie Sotero) from Spybaby after searching for months on the internet. They had the exact dress/color in stock so it was great to be able to see everything in person. I received so many compliments on my dress. Spybaby was good to work with. I would suggest scheduling your try-ons and fittings on a weekday because the shop is very busy on Fridays and Saturdays. I sometimes felt a little rushed or at other times we had to wait a while for a consultant to help us out or wait for a mirror.

This was a great shop to work with. They were very accommodating to me and my bridesmaids. I was a little leery going in, it is a small shop but they were very kind and pleasant to work with. Would recommend them!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dress was beautiful and very fairly priced. However when it came to alterations I wish I would have gone elsewhere. Each and every time I came back the dress was never sewn, only pinned. The seamstress never took and notes, rather than writing anything down just kepy mental notes which were never correct. On the day of the wedding we discovered that the bustle was never done. So we ended up pinning it up somehow with a safety pin! Then we saw that the lace on the bottom of the dress was completely just thrown on. Not nicely swen - it was a mess. I was very upset - AND payed $370 for alterations. Look elsewhere after you buy your dress there!

I went to Spybaby twice to choose my wedding dress, once to start looking at dresses and again to choose between a few I loved. Erica primarily worked with me, and she was so helpful and kind. She really helped make choosing my wedding dress such an amazing experience. I love that I received a call when my dress, headpiece, and shoes were ordered and also when they shipped. This really helped to ease my mind knowing that I had one less thing to worry about. The alterations to my dress were done quickly and done well. My mom purchased her mother-of-the-bride dress from Spybaby also, and we were impressed with the selection they had. I would recommend this bridal salon to everyone!

Spybaby was not the first shop that I went to, but it is the shop where I bought my dress! I know the customer service was above and beyond what I received in other salons. Marie was very helpful in finding dresses that were flattering and in the styles that I had in mind, with so many options to choose from. I LOVED my dress and although shops in the area didn't have the dress, I did compare prices with other shops and Spybaby was the same or better! Things worth mentioning: the shop is pretty small and I would certainly make an appointment as it can get very busy! I did not do my alterations in shop, so I can't comment. Overall, highly recommend!

The dress that I got here was absolutely stunning. It was everything I wanted, and I ordered it from here because they could get it for me for a cheaper price than the salon where I originally found it. However, they kept rescheduling my fittings, to the point where I was stressing out because it was a month before my wedding and I had not had my first fitting! I kept having to call THEM instead of them calling ME to check on the status of my dress and to confirm appointments. In the end it worked out, and they did well on my dress, but the entire process was highly stressful.

Loved my dress and the price was good too (I did shop around). Very pleasant and welcoming even though the shop is often very busy! The young woman (dark hair) who often helped me into my dress was very sweet and awesome and lacing up the dress just right to make me look my best. Marie was very helpful as well and Maria did a nice job on my bustle, etc. My ONLY complaint was that after discussing opening up the side seams of my dress to give my hips more room, I came in and Maria had decided to add extra lacing loops to the back of my dress to the lacing went down further. I almost cried, right then and there that my dress had been altered without discussing it with me first! And no one even told me until I noticed it on my own --- I felt like it they were trying to trick me and I didn't feel too happy about that. I would have appreciated being consulted before doing that, because truthfully, she did open in up a loop too far (because she didn't size it up on my body, she was just guessing), but didn't want to have to do more alterations to close it up -- so she just insisted that it HAD to be opened that far, which Is not true. THAT said in the end, it looked nice --- I was happy with it --- BUT, I still felt cheated and like it could have looked better that it been done the right way by discussing it with me first!

They were awesome. I got my wedding dress and my bridesmaids got their dresses in there. There was a younger girl who was helping us. She was super friendly and very helpful. I loved all of our dresses - they came out great.

Marie and Maria went above and beyond to make sure my dress was amazing. I ordered a Casablanca dress that I custom ordered. I wasn't sure what it would look like until it came in. When it did come in it was too large, but Maria made sure the alterations were perfect! Spybaby Bridal is INSANE! So many dresses and so many brides but they are that insane because they are so good at what they do. I was a wreck worrying about my dress but I didn't need to, because Spybaby was on top of it.

Marie, Maria, Virginia and all of the other women in the store were sooooo helpful. I had ONE week to either have my wedding dress "saved" that another shop altered improperly or find a new dress. Maria was so kind in trying to help me with the alterations of my previous dress. However, we decided that we could never get it to look perfect, as it should be perfect for your wedding day. So I had to find a dress off the rack. I found the perfect dress in the store and they had it altered and steamed in 5 days! I can't say enough about how lucky I was, Spybaby was a lifesaver!

I found my dress at another store first, but I ended up choosing Spybaby because I felt that they had a much more friendly staff, and I felt more welcome and at ease there. When I asked for honest opinions, they gave me honest opinions, rather than just saying that every single thing was gorgeous! When I went for my second fitting everything about my dress was perfect and I did not need another fitting. They offered to steam it for me right then so that I did not have to make another trip down there. I took a stroll to a couple of shops, came back, and it was ready to go!

After trying many dress shops in NC and NY I was very impressed by the selection available at Spybaby. Although I travelled out of my way to find this place because they carried a particular dress, I ended up buying a completely different floor model from the previous year for a fraction of the price. I was very pleased with my dress even though it was obvious it was not brand new. The ladies at the shop were very helpful in letting me try on many dresses and knowing their stock when I asked for particular styles.

I bought a beautiful (maybe over priced) dress from spybaby bridal. The store is beyond tiny. To go back for dress fittings was ridiculous, you had to stand in between racks of clothes to be fitted after changing in an area that my size four body could barely move around in. I wished many times like i could return my dress and go somewhere where fittings would be an event, not a crowded nightmare. To top things off i was advised to bring my dress home with me after it came in. so i carted this dress back and forth over three fittings. Save yourself work and just get your dress somewhere else........the only plus and the reason for the two stars is because the seamstress is amazing.

This was the first place I went to looking for a bridal gown and it was my last! I found the dress I was looking for. They have a variey of dresses for every taste and size. The staff was great and so was Maria. She works with you and never had an issue. I appreciate everything they did for me.

I just loved my dress. Everything worked out just the way I had envisioned it. Marie went out of her way to get me the dress and veil of my dreams. And she did just that.

I got my dress as well as all of my bridesmaids dresses here- the people are great, the shop has a romantic feel, and the dress selection is fantastic! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a wedding or special occasion dress!

they ordered my dress (which I saw online) for me which was great! my girls came in and tried on and got sized for dresses, but when they came in only 1 of 3 girls' dress fit- not sure if it was the a sizing issue or if the other 2 gained weight... my worst experience was my alterations done by their in-house seamstress- I got a hem and a bustle and buttons put on so if I wanted to wear my dress with the detachable sleeves I could- the strap button came loose and were wiggly and the bustle buttons came off after 45 minutes!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING - I called and complained and they weren't very helpful and of $190 she only refunded $30 because "thats what the cost of the buttons was" Overall service of the shop was great, seamstress- not so great

They knew how to get you into your wedding dress.;It was a bit pricey but not horribly so. They do not have a seamstress on site nor do they do their own pressing which was annoying.
