esent & photographing most of the major events that my husband and I have experienced in our adult life - moments in undergrad, senior photos, our engagement, and now our wedding! The reason he has been selected time and time again is not only that he is truly one of the most talented photographers in every setting and lighting situation, but because he is one of the most joyful, kind, easy-to-work with people. Over the years of getting to know Rob and his talent, we have also had the joy of getting to know him as a friend as well. Leading up to and on our wedding day, Square8 went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were taken care of. We had our wedding outside of the DFW area on what ended up being the coldest, rainiest day of the month - and because Square8 had never been to the locations before, they came down EARLY to scope out each location and assess picture spots for both rainy and sunshine scenarios. Rob and his team were able to capture a stunning variety of intimate, fun, genuine moments without ever feeling like they were interrupting, which was a feat in itself. We ended up with a massive library of images, ALL of which we loved! We truly cannot recommend Square8 highly enough for each and every couple looking for fantastic photos on one of the most important days of their lives, and are SO grateful that we entrusted Square8 with ours. :)

rking with Rob and his team at Square 8. Rob and his team were so invested in our love story and capturing every single part of our wedding and were there every step of the way. We booked Square 8 for the photography and videography for our wedding almost 2 years in advance, so we truly felt like we got to know each other during that time. From frequent check-in’s, buying supplies for my special ed classroom, or sending us a Starbucks card when I had the worst day, Rob was always there for us and took the time to be personable and supportive! Rob went BEYOND the duties of a photographer to build a relationship with us and make our wedding planning go smoothly. Then bring on the COVID…A few months before our wedding coronavirus threw a wrench in everything, but Square 8 was always there to check in, keep us updated on mandates and regulations for the wedding industry, and even sent us a Homechef giftcard since we were quarantined together, like WHAT?! They went above and beyond to make us feel heard and encouraged during what was an incredibly difficult time for us. The same was true on our actual wedding day. Rob and his team had incredible knowledge and experience at our venue and blew us away with our pictures. They knew exactly which shots we wanted and knew all the right places, so photos were efficient, but beautiful and detailed! They were able to facilitate and be flexible with our wedding day timeline, and truly helped keep everything running smoothly. Rob took the time to get to know our DJ and did an AMAZING job coordinating all the reception details with him. The video team and extra shooters did an incredible job and were wonderful to work with. The whole Square 8 team made our vision come to life and made our wedding just perfect. From our video to our photos, everything was better than we could have asked. I ended up sharing over 400 pictures on Facebook because I seriously could not pick favorites, I loved them all! I do not know that my words even do Square 8 justice, but we are so glad we chose them to be a part of our love story and our wedding day. From start to finish, they took care of us and were wonderful to work with. We will be a part of the Square 8 family for years to come!

phone, he asked about our vision and affirmed us as we shared, he wasn’t intimidated by our big families or various requests (He even asked about what types of photos we wanted and what we envisioned color wise for our pictures). Rob welcomed us, asked questions, encouraged us, and checked in on us throughout the planning process. Rob even called me at 11pm to talk through our day of schedule and help me figure out the transition between the ceremony and the reception. While Rob has way more experience than me in the wedding business, he still heard my heart and ideas and empowered me to own our wedding schedule! He was also so incredibly flexible when it came to our engagement pictures-I live in Houston so I kept planning trips to come take our engagement photos, but we kept running into rain or weird Texas weather. He took it all in stride and kept in contact with us and when he found the perfect weather opening, met us at the location within the hour. He kept us laughing during our engagement pictures and helped us feel confident in posing, but more than that, he captured our hearts for one another and the unposed, raw moments some photographers might have written off. By the time we got to our wedding day, my husband and I felt so confident in posing (belly button to hip for the win!!!) and comfortable in front of the camera. In turn, our wedding pictures turned out so good! We had the immense privilege of working with Zach the day of our wedding and man, he’s AMAZING!!!!! He is gracious and kind, has an eye for details, and is so encouraging! He captured so many priceless moments and was so flexible when things weren’t quite running as planned-he never complained about the summer heat or made me feel hurried. Zach encouraged and so many people complimented him based on their interactions with him day of and then even more once they saw our wedding pictures!!! I am so thankful for Square 8 and their heart for their couples, they made our wedding special and were so kind from beginning to end. Plus, who doesn’t love night of sneak peaks and a couple week turn around?! I love being a Square 8 Bride and that our wedding was a conduit for meeting Rob and his team!!
