We comprise your story with real Super 8mm film and HD digital resolution that encapsulates vintage timeless moments with still a modern touch. We admit-our films are a little off the beaten path, but that is what makes them distinct, personal, emotional, and well...fun!

Chris Lopez (Squinted Cinema Weddings) is one of the nicest, most knowledgeable and professional people we have met in a long time. After an initial phone consult, we knew we had hired the right person to capture our son's wedding weekend with real film! He listened and asked all the relevant questions that we knew would guide him in creating the best and most memorable wedding film for our children to enjoy and relive their entire lifetime. He is patient, thorough and unflappable, and during the rehearsal dinner and wedding he filmed, we barely knew he was there…but he was. The bride and groom loved him. We are awaiting our final product but know it will be amazing and now must dream up a reason to use him again. It’s so refreshing to find a genuinely good-hearted person. We highly recommend Chris Lopez with Squinted Cinema Weddings.

We could not have been luckier to have had Chris from Squinted Cinema present at our wedding, documenting our celebration. He was professional, amiable, and throughout the process, leading up to our day, very receptive to communication and questions we might have had. We chose Squinted Cinema for their beautiful style and true artistry we found present in their work. We also greatly enjoyed the mix of analog and digital film, which truly created a special, unique memory for us to look back at. Chris was extra wonderful, seeing that we booked them slightly last minute as we found room in our budget to hire a videographer. We would choose Squinted Cinema a hundred times over. They are an exceptional choice for capturing your cherished moments.

Chris was so great to work with; he is professional, creative, intuitive, and so nice. He really took the time to get to know me and my husband; which in turn made filming incredibly easy - we talked about so many different topics and I think that is what made our days with him effortless. When we got our sneak peek back it was better than what was ever even described to us. We can't wait to see what he dreams up next for us.

I wish I could select twenty stars!! Chris was absolutely amazing to work with! From the very beginning to the end. We spoke on the phone for the first time and knew he was going to be great. He was so interested in learning about me and my soon to be husband. He even drove out to my venue to meet my family and the other vendors. He really puts his full effort into making sure he knows you on a personal level so he can capture your personality. Him and his wife were so sweet on our wedding day. It felt like having family in the room with me instead of a stranger with a camera. After the wedding he sent me a list of songs that I got to listen and select my favorites for him to use in my video. I may be bias, but I think the video he created for us could win awards hah! If you are looking for something unique, breathtaking, something that captures all the emotion....you NEED to go with Squinted Cinema. Truly the best.

Hands down the most amazing team you could have for your big day! Chris was so amazing to work with and really brought my big day to life. His videos really capture all the special moments and they are so unique and created towards your own personality. You won’t find anyone with a better vision and unique videos than Squinted Cinema!

Chris does truly amazing work! The day goes by so fast and it’s so nice to have this to look back on. I loved the super 8 and I love how it’s like we have a mini movie of our special day. Chris is an artist and you will not regret picking him to capture your big day!

Chris was awesome! My husband is vey camera shy but Chris made everyone feel comfortable. We haven’t gotten our video yet but I know it’s going to be fantastic! They are a pleasure to work with and really take into account what you want too.

Chris was amazing! He captured the true essence of the love shared between Laura and Joe and the family and friends there to celebrate them in an inconspicuous way! You never knew he was there! Chris is FANTASTIC. I was hesistant to get video on our wedding day, but Squinted Cinema ended up being one of the best decisions we made. He captured all the meaningful moments without being overbearing, and the final product is stunning. We are so blessed by his talents and highly recommend!

I found Squinted Cinema online and really appreciated that they integrate Super 8 film into their work. We wanted a short video, but didn't have much of a budget. I spoke to Chris and he was happy to accommodate us. He scoped out the location and edited/created the final product, while Jessica actually did the filming. Jessica was great at giving us feedback and fit right into the setting. I would definitely recommend to request her if Chris is not available for your specific event. Contact them... You won't regret it!

As I began the wedding planning process, I remember a couple of brides telling me that if they had to choose, they'd choose videography over photography. I thought they were crazy, until we receive our video! The day goes by SO FAST, and the video lets us relive one of our best days over again! Thanks Chris and Squinted Cinema for capturing the love we have for each other, our friends and family, and a good time! I would recommended y'all ten times over!!

I'm without words to describe how beautiful our wedding film is!!! I've watched it so many times that I've lost count. Chris was just an absolute breeze to work with. The artistry of His work is way beyond the typical wedding film. We love the 8mm. It makes for a beautiful and different touch than your typical wedding film. Amazing how he was able to capture our day so wonderfully without us even knowing he was there. This really allowed us to be ourselves. Our film is so unique to us and speaks who we are as a couple. I can definitely say that film really captures the emotion of the day in a different way than photos can. Everything went by so fast on our wedding day. It was like a blink of an eye and it was over. So glad we have a film to relive the day whenever we want. Totally make room in your budget for videography. You won't regret it!

Photo and video is all you have left after a wedding. The day flies by and you wish you could do it again! My husband and I are so grateful to be able to keep our wedding film forever. Chris and his team did an excellent job! You almost forget they're there, but somehow they capture all the special moments you want to recreate. Professional, creative and personable folks! Don't debate on video.. Get one! ...and get it with Squinted Cinema! ;)
